A New Book.....
How is everyone today ?? I hope you all had a really nice Christmas. I enjoyed the holiday and pretty soon it will be New Year's Eve. Tomorrow I go back to work of course.
Anywho...yesterday I went to Walmart and I picked up a few books. One of the books I picked up is called "SALEM FALLS" by the writer Jodi Picoult. There is a guy in the book named Jack St. Bride and he was a teacher at a girls prep school and he was convicted of sexual assault and the thing is so far I don't think he did it. He went to prison and he endured a lot in prison. He got out of prison and he went to a small town called Salem Falls and he gets a job at a diner called Do-Or-Diner and he does register as a sex offender but in the story it doesn't come out that he did the crime with which he was convicted. People are wondering about him and they don't know anything about him.
So far I am feeling kind of sorry for him and I am starting to like him in the story. I will have to keep reading the book to find out more of the story.
Question :
Have you ever read a book that made you curious about the people in the book ? I am curious to know if you ever read a book that you just wondered about ??? Let me know

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its officially Christmas Day so let me begin by saying Merry Christmas to you all !!!!!!! How has your Christmas been ? I hope that you all got really nice gifts and that you were able to spend time with family and friends. I am having a really nice Christmas with my family. All is well in Atlanta, Georgia.
My folks got me a nice winter jacket since I haven't had one in a while. My youngest niece got me (2) bags of Lindor Truffles and my mom gave me a bracelet and earring's. My auntie Marie came by yesterday with my uncle Tony and they gave me a gift card to my favorite bookstore Barnes & Noble. My niece Jeanette gave me the new Pink CD which I love.
Yesterday my folks and I and my niece's had a little party at the house. We had some finger sandwiches, chips and dip, some ham roll-up's and my niece's made a green Christmas tree cake that was quite cute. Later in the evening we went to midnight mass at St. Philip Benizi. It was a really nice night.
Anywho.....I do want to wish you all a very wonderful and memorable and happy Christmas.

Crowded Stores...And A Wonderful Dinner
Good evening !!!!!!! I wanted to come by and tell you about my day. Earlier this evening my mom and I went to Toys "R" Us which was a mad house. The store was full of people buying presents for their kids and the lines were looooooooooooong. I stood in one line and my mom stood in another line. She luckily got to a register before I did which was great. We decided not to stay in the store too long.
After Toys "R" Us we decided to go to Southlake Mall which was also packed with people. I ended up getting my eyebrow's done with some thread by a woman from India and let me tell you that getting my eyebrow's done hurt like crazy. Women were lining up to get their eyebrow's done as well. It cost me $10.00 to get them done and they look quite nice. Its something what we women do to be pretty these days. I'll probably wait another few months to get them done again. While we were at the mall my mom found 2 sweatshirts on sale for some of my nephew's for Christmas presents. I didn't buy anything at the mall but I did do some window shopping.
After the mall my mom and I decided to go to the Olive Garden which was simply wonderful. My niece's didn't go with us and my dad had to work so it was just the two of us. I have to tell you that our dinner was quite delicious let me tell you. We had this flatbread with basil and melted cheese as an appetizer which we liked. Then we had a salad which was also quite good. We both ordered a drink called a Limoncello Lemonade which we both enjoyed. We both ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara which was very very very very delicious to say the least. I ended up treating my mom for dinner and I have to say that it was nice just the two of us to go out to the store and then to dinner. Here is the link if you want to see it ----> http://www.olivegarden.com/
Tomorrow we will probably go to Walmart and I will more than likely do some shopping since I know what presents I want to get. So how was your day today ?? I do hope that you had a really nice Saturday. That's all for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Good night

A Nice Ceremony....
How is everyone ? I hope you are all well. You might want to know that yesterday I went to my Service Pin Ceremony at the Comissioner's building. The ceremony was quite nice. The comissioner presented me with my service pin and my 5 year certificate. There were quite a lot of people there getting their pin's and certificate's. My head boss's showed up to the ceremony and they wanted to take a picture with me and my boss at my work with them which I did. I didn't know that my head boss's were going to show up to the ceremony. My folks and my niece's were also there to see me get my pin and certificate. Quite a few people congratulated me on my 5 year anniversary which was nice. It seems like I just started at my job.
After the ceremony I treated my folks and my niece's to dinner at Applebee's. We then got home a little bit later in the evening. So how was your day my dear world ? I do hope that all is well in your neck of the woods. Are you getting ready for Christmas ?
Do keep me posted.

Udate...And More Christmas Ornament Shopping
Good evening how is everyone ?? First let me say thank you to all of you who visit my blog here. For those of you who are not usual visitors please feel free to drop in anytime and say hello. I do welcome comments, thoughts or questions.
Anywho...here I am again. Today I didn't go into work today for a particular reason. I did end up spending the day with my folks today. Earlier today my folks and I took a ride over to Lowe's to look at all of the Christmas decorations. I did find a tree ornament I liked and a Jeff Gordon Christmas ornament I liked and I bought the ornaments. I am still a fan of Jeff Gordon the race car driver which is why I bought the Christmas ornament.
After Lowe's we took a ride over to the store called Michael's which was very fun. I got some more Christmas ornaments I liked and some Christmas stickers I liked. I also got an antique Chinese house for my mom's Christmas village she puts up every year. While at Michael's I also found some Halloween stickers I liked. Can you believe that Halloween decorations are still up ?
Once we got home we waited for my niece's to come home from school. A little bit later we all took a ride to Garden Ridge. I got some unusual Christmas ornaments for work since we put up a Christmas tree at work. I wonder what my coworker's are going to say about my unusual Christmas ornaments. I also got a Christmas tablecloth for our table at work.
For dinner we went over to Truett's. I got a midnight ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good. They had Christmas decorations up and it was nice going there for dinner.
You might want to know that my youngest niece has a Swim meet in Marietta, Georgia tomorrow so I will have to wake up pretty early tomorrow. So how was your day my dear world ? I do hope that your day was a nice one. How are things in your neck of the woods ??

Update....
Good evening all !!!!!!!!! How is everyone today ???? I am pretty good. Anywho it was a little cool this morning in Atlanta, Georgia.
So...I just finished reading "Dead Until Dark" by the writer Charlaine Harris which was a very good book. The book was based on the television series TRUEBLOOD on HBO. I have to say that the book was quite a good one. I really have to say that Charlaine is a good writer here is her link -----> http://www.charlaineharris.com/ . I highly recommend the book. I have to say that I really liked the vampire whose name is Bill Compton.
BTW (By The Way) you might want to know that I have made "5" years at the Clayton County Courthouse in my department aren't you proud of me. There will be a Employee Service Pin Award Ceremony on December 18, 2008 at 4:00pm. I can't believe that I have been at my job for five years already. The people at my work are pretty nice and I have come to like being around the people that I work with.
Also......IT IS ALMOST CHRISTMAS so have you done any shopping yet ??? Tick Tock the clock is ticking.....tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock
I did want to tell you that there was a guy that was in the Jury holding room today and he was a really nice guy. I noticed him yesterday and today he stopped me because he wanted to talk to me. He said that he knew my sister a while back and he said that he remembered me but unfortunately I didn't remember him. We did talk for a few minutes and he had a really nice smile and he had the most amazing eyes. I wonder if I am going to see him tomorrow.
So how was your day ?? I do hope that you had a really nice Wednesday. How are things in your neck of the woods ?? Let me know how things are going in your part of the world.
I'll talk to you again later. Take care everyone

Some Sad News....And Some Shopping Of Course
Good evening. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I have a little sad news to report but please do NOT be alarmed. I am sad to report that my baby Albino Catfish passed away today. He had been sick recently and we tried everything we could to putting medicine tablets in the water to changing the aquarium every single day and making sure that the water stayed alright but nothing seemed to help. He wasn't doing well at all today and a little later in the evening he passed away. We will be burying him in the yard as soon as the rain is gone. We will all miss our catfish he was with us for quite a while. I really liked our catfish and my niece's really liked him too. Its always sad to go through a loss of a pet and tonight was a little bit sad for me. I think that at least he is NOT sick anymore which is great but it was still hard to lose him.
In other news my cousin Peter came over to the house for a little visit which was nice. He will be going back home Tuesday he will be coming back over tomorrow for a little dinner and another visit. Later in the evening we dropped him off at my aunt's house. After dropping my cousin off my folks and I and my niece's decided to go for a ride to JCPenney's for a little shopping which was fun. I did happen to do a lot of window shopping and I also purchased some really cute t-shirts with sayings on them. I also looked at all of the Christmas ornaments in the store which was fun. I loved going to the store it was fun to look around as well as purchasing some shirts that I liked. I will be doing some more shopping later on in the coming weeks.
So my dear world how was your day today ?? I do hope that you had a really nice Saturday ? Have you lost a pet recently ??? I do hope that all is well in your neck of the woods ?? I also hope that you are enjoying the holidays.
Take care

Its Friday !!!!!!!!!!!
How are all of you ??? Its FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well here I am again. I have to say that even though it is cold in Atlanta, Georgia today I am doing fine. Of course it was another day at work for me but it wasn't too busy. My coworker's and I will be off of work for Thanksgiving. I did stop by the pawn shop which I go to from time to time and I ended up getting two movies and the lady in the store told me that she would give me a deal that if I saw three more movies I wanted I could have all five movies for $10.00. I did get three movies which I liked and I got them all for $10.00 which was a great price for five movies. The owner came in as we were leaving and he knew immediately that I was going to buy some movies. Their movies they have at the store are limitless and they always have something I like there.
Anywho....after work I went and volunteered to serve pizza, chips, little bottles of punch and cookies to four groups of students at my youngest niece's school since they were having a Read-A-Thon. I have to say that volunteering is a job in itself. You might want to know that I did a great job volunteering.
After volunteering my niece's and I and my mom went to eat at IHOP which was really really good. They have this new item on the menu called "Nutella Crepe's" which were quite good. The crepe's were covered with powdered sugar and whipped cream. Inside of the crepe's was the hazelnut chocolate spread called Nutella which I happen to like. Inside of the crepe's were also slices of banana which made the crepe's that much more great. I ate all of my crepe's at IHOP. Here is the link if you want to check it out -----> http://www.nutellausa.com/ . You have to try this spread it is quite delicious and well worth trying.
The movie "TWILIGHT" came out today and I have to tell you that I can't wait to see it. I really want to see this movie and I think that from the preview's that it will be worth seeing. Have any of you gone to see it yet ??
So how was your day ??? I do hope all is well with you. Do have a great weekend !!!!!!!!!!

A Little Sad....
Today I have to share some rather sad news that I received. By the way how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well.
Anywho...you might want to know that earlier this morning my boss called me and two of my coworker's into the office but not the new people. My boss called us into the office to inform us that a lady who used to work in our department a while back passed away yesterday of a heart attack. The lady's name is Theresa and I was the one who took her place since she left on medical disability. I met her a few times since I had started in her place. I have to say that Theresa was a very sweet and caring person. She was very nice to me and she would call us from time to time at work to see how we were doing. She was known by a lot of people at our job and she will truly be missed by all of us. I talked to Theresa a few times on the phone at work and she always made sure to ask how I was. My coworker's and I didn't know until our boss told us that she had died. We were surprised by the news of her death. I am completely saddened by the news because she was a pretty nice person. Everyone was shocked by the news that she had passed. I do hope that her family knows that we all liked her and remember her fondly. My coworker's and I went to her house today to see her boyfriend and he was still dealing with the news of her having passed. I still can't believe the news.
Anywho.....how was your day ??? I do hope that you had a really nice day. Of course it is still cold here in Georgia. How is the weather where you are ??
I'll talk to you later. Good night

Work....And A Really Gorgeous Guy
Okay so good evening how are all of you ?? It was a pretty cold day outside but there was NO snow in sight however.
Anywho....today started another week at work for me. It was a very busy busy busy busy busy day. I do have to tell you that I saw the most gorgeous guy today at work and yes I talked to him. This guy was a lawyer who looked very much like the singer Brian McKnight here is the link if you want to get an idea of how the guy looked ---> http://www.brian-mcknight.com/ . I saw the guy and I said hello to him with a smile and he said hello back and I asked him how he was and he responded with a smile and he said he was doing fine. This guy let me tell you that he had the most amazing smile and he had really nice eyes. I did happen to like his voice as well. As I walking back down the hallway I told him good-bye with another smile and he told me to have a good day and I responded with telling him to have a good day as well. He was dressed in a really nice suit and tie and I have to tell you that I wish I could have asked him for his phone number. I didn't get to see him later in the day however but I wonder if I will see him tomorrow.
You might want to know that I am reading the book I bought called "The Man Of My Dreams" by Curtis Sittenfeld and it is a really great book. I am enjoying reading it a lot and I wonder how it will end. Have you read any good books lately ?? Do let me know.
By the way we have a new guy working with us at work he started today. His name is D*****D and he is a much older gentlemen. He is a really nice guy and he is a good worker. I don't know much about him but I am sure we will get to know him as he works with us. He seems to like us and he didn't mind being around us. Hopefully we will get to know him as time goes on. Its a change to have someone new around but sometimes change can be an interesting thing. You just never know I guess so we will have to wait and see.
So how was your day today ?? I do hope you all had a really nice Monday. As you may know Thanksgiving is almost here. Are you ready for Thanksgiving ?? I do want to wish you all the best of the holidays.
Take care

I Love The Holidays.....
Good afternoon !!!!!!! I do hope you are all well. I wanted to come by and tell you that yesterday I had a really wonderful fun day and I wanted to share it with you.
First, my folks and I and my niece's went to Steak-n-Shake for lunch. I had a white chocolate milkshake with red and green sprinkles which was quite good. The place was packed full with people. The food was quite good too.
After lunch we took a ride to Garden Ridge which was quite fun. I found some cute light up Christmas stickers, a funny Christmas ornament which was a moose sitting in a outhouse and some Christmas buttons and a book called "The Man of my Dreams" by the writer Curtis Sittenfeld. It sure did look like Christmas at Garden Ridge. We decided not to get the purple Christmas tree after all. We are going to use the one we already have. It was fun going to Garden Ridge. Check this link out -------> http://www.gardenridge.com/
***I am going to ask the question : Are you in the Christmas spirit ??? Let me know. *****
After Garden Ridge we went to TJMaxx where I found (2) more Christmas ornaments which I liked and a cute green t-shirt that I ended up purchasing at the store. After shopping at TJMaxx we went to Burlington Coat Factory where I found some sunglasses I wanted and a pair of Apple Bottom sunglasses for my oldest niece that she wanted.
Immediately after shopping at TJMaxx we went to Blockbuster where I rented my family some movies we wanted to see. I also bought some movies including the new "Sex & the City" movie and "The Jane Austen Book Club". I have to tell you that the movie "Journey To The Center of the Earth" was a really great movie that my mom and my oldest niece and I watched this morning. I highly recommend the movie as a must see movie.
Yes it seemed like everybody was out shopping like I was at the stores. It didn't seem like there was an economic crisis going on. It didn't look like the stores were hurting for money at all. I did have a great time going out shopping with my family. I can't wait until Christmas comes.
So how was your day yesterday ? Did you do any shopping as I did ? I do hope that you had a nice weekend as I did. What have you been up to this weekend by the way ? I haven't heard on the news about the shooting yet I do hope that the guy is doing alright. I also hope that they caught the guy who shot him at the pool hall. Anywho...its been a nice weekend in my neck of the woods today.
I'll talk to you again later.

Its Friday....And A Shooting
Good evening. How is everyone today ?? Well let me begin by saying that it was a very foggy day in Atlanta, Georgia and the sky looked like a cloudy bowl of clam chowder.
Anywho...today was another day at work for me of course. You might want to know that one of my coworker's told me that she thinks I am fat which I think was a really terrible thing to say. I don't feel that its right to talk about someone's weight or what a person looks like I just think its rather rude and NOT at all polite. Am I wrong ? I didn't say anything to her because I was mad at her at the time and I am still mad at her for what she said.
Once my family and I got home my mom and I took my youngest niece to her swimming lesson she takes at a recreaction center near my work. My oldest niece went with her grandfather to her piano lessons that she takes from time to time. My youngest niece does quite well at swimming and she is getting better and better every time. Once we got home we went and picked up my father and my oldest niece so we could go out for dinner. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurant and the food was good. After we ate we noticed a lot of Police cars and Emergency crew's driving in to a place which was near the Mexican restaurant we were at. Apparently a guy was shot at the pool hall which is a few stores down from the Mexican restaurant. There was quite a commotion going on but hopefully the Police were able to catch whoever shot the guy. I wonder if the news of the shooting will be on television tonight you just never know do you. I do hope that the guy who was shot is alright and that he was NOT killed.
Of course we left the area and we took a ride to the mall which is always fun. We all did some window shopping which is fun. I saw quite a few things but I didn't buy anthing. I will be buying my family a purple Christmas tree this year which my family wants. I can't wait to go buy it.
So how are all of you tonight ?? I do hope that all is well in your neck of the woods. By the way a few days ago I bought two movies which consisted of : "Stir Of Echoes" with Kevin Bacon and the other movie was "Hidden Places". I have NOT seen the movies yet but I plan to.
Of course tomorrow starts the weekend do you have any plans ?????
That's all for now. Good night.

A New Hair-Do....
Good evening to you all. I have to say that I have been doing quite well these days. It has been a week of work for me but I have to say that I have been feeling really really really really good.
I have to share something with you. A few days ago I was playing around with my hair and I found out that my hair has grown out quite a bit. The thing is I have started wearing my hair down in a little style which I still like. A lot of people at my work especially some of the men have told me that they like my hair and that they think I look cute. I have been getting a ton of compliments on my hair and how it looks. I have been enjoying all of the compliments about my hair.
The thing is the guy that I wanted to notice me actually has NOT noticed that I changed my hair. He hasn't said anything about my hair or how I have been wearing it. I thought that he would say something and did he ??? NO !!!!!!! Maybe I shouldn't worry about what he thinks anymore. Maybe he just is NOT into me.
I have enjoyed hearing from people that I look cute and that they like my hair.
So how is everyone these days ??? Has anyone been shopping lately ??? You might want to know that its almost THANKSGIVING. Do you have any plans for the holidays yet ???
Do keep me posted. Take care.

A Great Football Game.....
How is everyone today ?? I have to say that I had a really wonderful time today. My dad and I and my niece's had a great time at the game. We were sitting in section 340 and I have to say that it was a great game. The Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints 34 to 20.
I really had a great time at the game. There were quite a lot of people there at the game. We rode the Marta train to get to the game and they had to check purses and everything. I had a great time screaming with the other Falcon's fans who were at the game. My niece's also enjoyed themselves at the game as well. I thought that it was fun seeing everyone else in their Atlanta Falcons outfits and things. They also had face painting people who were at the Georgia dome. The game began as soon as we got there. It took a while for us to get to our seat's. I had fun with the other people who were sitting near us. I must say that it was a great time for us and the weather was pretty nice today to be going to the football game. I would like to go back to another game I just don't know when. My mom decided not to go to the game this time and I wish she could have went with us.
So how was your day my dear world ?? I do hope that you got to have a really nice Sunday. I'll talk to you all again later.

Announcement
You might want to know that Brian Nichols who was known for his escape and killing in Atlanta, Georgia in the Fulton County courthouse on March 11, 2005 was found guilty on all 54 counts on November 7, 2008. His charges included murder, kidnapping, robbery, felony murder, aggravated assault on a police officer, battery, theft, carjacking, rape and escape from authorities.
I have to say that I am so very happy that the jurors found him guilty for the things he did. I have to say that justice was served by the jurors and by the judge presiding over the case. I am happy to know that he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. I think that the families of those that he killed are able to see that he was punished for the lives he took. I think that Brian needs to understand that what he did was wrong and that he needs to be punished for what he did on March 11, 2005. It was sad to know what he did on that tragic day and I am sure that no one in Atlanta, Georgia will ever forget what he did. Anywho I am just relieved over the verdict. I can't wait to hear the sentence that he will get so the case can be resolved once and for all.
On a much happier note tomorrow my dad and I and my nieces will be going to the Atlanta Falcons football game tomorrow. I have NEVER been to a football game. Usually we watch the game on television but tomorrow I get to see it up close and personal. I can't wait until I get to go to my very first football game. I am sure it will totally be fun and well worth it. I do hope that the Falcons win the game tomorrow that will be something to see.
That's all my news for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Update....
Good morning to you all. Its me again. Well you might want to know that on Tuesday I did go to vote at E.W. Oliver Elementary School before I went to work. The line was quite long and yes we eventually got to get out of line and go ahead of the people waiting in line since my mom had a cane with her and the people said that we could go ahead since my mom was walking with a cane due to her Multiple Sclerosis. Anywho we did go vote and yes as you might know Barack Obama was elected to be our next President of the United States of America.
Eventually I got to work on Tuesday a little bit late but my boss was okay with the fact that I was late. On Thursday my mom felt quite a bit sick and she needed me to go to Kaiser with her to the after hours care which I did. It was found that she had an infection and they did give her medicine which made her feel better. While I was at Kaiser I ended up getting my Flu shot which didn't take long at all. After Kaiser my mom treated me to doughnuts at Krispy Kreme which I have to say that their doughnuts should be considered one of the basic food groups. Krispy Kreme has the best doughnuts in the world in my opinion.
Friday of course was another day at work for me. We had a nice day at work and there wasn't a lot of people there. The people at my work really do like me and I like the people at my work. There are a lot of nice people at my work and its nice to have some pretty friendly people at my work. I do miss my coworker Willie he was a really nice guy and I hope that his family is doing well. I am sure his family misses him very much but I hope that they are doing alright. A lot of people at work still can't believe he's gone and a lot of people still talk about him a lot.
You might want to know that yesterday I bought the book "Marley & Me" which I can't wait to read. Here is the link for the movie -----> http://www.marleyandmemovie.com/ . I am still reading Janet Evanovich's book "Thanksgiving" which is a pretty good book to read for the holidays. I can't wait to see the movie. Have you read any good books recently ?????
Also one of the ladies at my work will be getting married pretty soon. She had a Bridal shower at work and a lot of the women gave her presents at the shower. Unfortunately my coworker's and I could NOT attend the shower but we did see her in the hallway and we gave her a card which had a gift card in it from Lowe's where she is registered and hopefully she will be able to buy some things she likes from Lowe's.
In other news the weather here has been pretty nice and the leaves have all changed color. I like this time of year and all of the stores are filled with Christmas decorations and things. Pretty soon it will be Thanksgiving however.
Well my dear world how are things with you ? I do hope that all is well with you and your family. By the way how are things in your neck of the woods ? I do hope that things are going fine.
Do keep me posted.

Some News....
Good evening !!!!!!! Here I am again. Of course its another week at work for me. The weather in my neck of the woods which is Atlanta, Georgia was rather nice today.
As you might NOT know I hate to say that I have NOT voted yet. I am supposed to go tomorrow but hopefully the line won't be too long. Anywho...my coworker who recently passed his sister brought us a card thanking us for all that we did for her and the family. We all miss Willie and it was sad to lose a coworker that we had known for quite a while. We continue to think of him every day however.
We did get a new coworker who is a woman named A*** and she is a very nice person. We didn't talk a lot today since she just started. She did tell us that she likes working with us and that we are pretty nice people to be around. I hope that she continues to enjoy working with us. I will have to get to know her and she will have to get to know me. It will probably take time getting to know someone new but change can sometimes be a nice thing but its also different sometimes meeting someone new. I will just have to wait and see you never know.
In other news my family and I are doing well. My youngest niece who is eight years old is still doing swimming lessons and she is still learning. I am sure it will take some time for her to learn. My oldest niece who is seventeen years old is still taking piano lessons and she is a senior in High school and she is enjoying her friends and school.
At the moment I am still reading the book "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer and it is a good book. I can't wait until it gets to the theater because I really want to see it. I am enjoying the story and I really hope that the movie is as good as the book.
How are things with you my dear world ??? I do hope that things are well. That's all for now. I'll talk to you again later.

Sad News....
I had to come and share some rather sad news with you today. Today at work my coworkers and I received some rather sad news which I wanted to share with you. My coworker that we had the party for Willie Hines died last night at Southern Regional Hospital.
I am rather sad at the moment after having heard the news. My coworker's and I had known Willie for quite a while which makes it hard to know that he is gone. I am glad that we had the party for him and that he was able to come and see us. I am sure that after the family makes the arrangements I will go and attend his funeral. I know that he is no longer in pain but its shocking to know that just after we had a party in his honor that he passed away last night.
I am sure his family and friends are as upset about the news as my coworker's and I are. I do hope that everyone he loves knows that we will always love and miss him. I always thought that he was such a great guy and I hope that his family will know that we will all miss him a lot. Its still hard to know that he is gone and that we will never see him again. I hate to have lost a coworker but he was in pain and I know that he will miss us I'm sure. I am glad that I was able to know him and work with him but work will surely be different without him around.
Anywho...I had to come and share the news with you. I'm sorry for such sad news but I thought you would like to know.
Take care everyone

Some Thoughts....
How are you today ? I hope you are all well. I wasn't going to get into anything of a political nature today but I just have to in this update.
Today I recorded "The View" and Mr. Bill O'Reilly was a guest on the show and I have to say that I was a little upset about his behavior on the show. First of all I have to say that I felt that Bill O'Reilly acted rude on the show and I wish that he would have NOT been on the show. I feel that he has a right to his opinion on Barack Obama and McCain but I feel that he was quite wrong in calling Barack Obama a Communist and then a Socialist. I feel that he was wrong in expressing his opinion the way he did. I also feel that Elizabeth Hasselbeck has been a little wrong in expressing her opinions as she does. I did NOT like the fact that he was rude to Joy and to Barbara Walters on The View. I hope that he does NOT go on The View anytime soon. I wish that they would have Elizabeth taken off The View pretty soon and hopefully a replacement is found.
Please forgive me for this entry but I was mad at what I saw on the show.
Anywho......how was your day today ??? I do hope that you are having a pleasant week. I just had to come and vent for a minute. I will try to be better soon. Do take care everyone.

Update....
Good evening. I wanted to come by and tell you about my day. All this week my coworker's and I were asking everyone in the building if they wanted to sign a card we had gotten for our coworker whose name is Willie. The reason why we did this is that a lot of people had known him and gotten to like him and so they also gave us donations towards a party we hosted in his honor today since he is having to retire early due to an illness. A lot of the donations were given to our coworker in case he might need to use some of it for money or whatever else he might be needing at this time.
The party started at 1:00 this afternoon at our work and it ended at 3:00 this afternoon. My coworker's and I had prepared a buffet style party which consisted of chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken, buffalo wings from a place called "Buffalo Cafe" and we also had some green beans which two of my female coworker's prepared at home, I myself made some potato salad which everyone liked quite a lot. We also had some dinner rolls and bottles of Coca-Cola, diet Coca-Cola, and some Sprite. A lot of people attended the party where our coworker Willie was there. After the meal my coworker's and I and our supervisor presented him with his plaque for this service of 30 years, his card and some money that was donated to him from the people in the building. The sad part was is that he was not well since he is suffering from having cancer on his liver. He did appreciate our having given him the party and the gifts we gave him. My coworker's and I will definitely miss him very much. His sister who brought him up to our work was very grateful for what we did for him.
Let me tell you it was quite a turn out at the party and the people really enjoyed the party and our hard work with the food and how the party turned out. It was sad that we had to say goodbye to our coworker but I do hope that he is able to recover at home with his family and relatives. I was glad that he was able to make it to the party and I am glad that we got to have a little celebration in his honor.
Anywho......how was your day ??? I do hope that you are doing well. I just wanted to come by and share my day with you. Tomorrow of course starts the weekend so I will talk to you again later.
Have a great weekend and take care

Just A Note
Good evening. I thought I would come by and let you know that I am still here. It is almost Halloween. I did finish reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" it was a very good book.
I have since started reading "Devil Bones" which is inspired from my favorite show "BONES" as you might already know. I also picked up another book today called "Deadly Night" by the writer Heather Graham. I am getting into the mood for a little scary reading since its getting closer to Halloween. Does anyone else like Halloween like I do ??
I do hope that everyone is well. I want to thank everyone for coming to visit me here even though I do miss AOL Journal Land. Anywho thank you all for dropping in. I will talk to you all again soon.
Good night

Some News....
I'm here for the time being. I don't know why but some of my entries did not transfer well. I'm hoping this works. I hate that AOL J-Land had to close everything worked there and this seemed rather hard.
I do have news. It has been a long week at work but I made it to Friday. You might want to know that I did get the book "DEVIL BONES" which is inspired by my favorite show "BONES". I'll have to finish reading "Helen Hath No Fury" pretty soon.
I also got some other books including "No Rest For The Witches" by MaryJanice Davidson and "Water Witch" by Deborah Leblanc and "C.J.'s Fate" by Kay Hooper and "The Lucky One" by Nicholas Sparks.
On my lunch break with two of my coworker's I went to a little thrift store and I saw a book called "The Book Borrower" by the writer Alice Mattison for $2.50 and a nice pair of khaki colored tennis shoes that were on sale for $8.80 and they looked like they had never been worn.
After work I rode home with one of my coworker's and I ended up getting some groceries which included another book called "The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I have to say that I don't know when I will get around to reading all of the books that I have.
Anywho....that's all for now. Have a good weekend !!!!!!!!!

I AM SAD....
Hello dear world
How are you all ??? I am extremely saddened by the news that AOL J-Land is closing its doors at the end of the month. I don't know if I want to continue blogging anywhere else. I have always liked it here at AOL J-Land I can't believe this is happening.
I might NOT be sharing anymore entries here because what would be the point ?? AOL J-Land will soon be gone. I have come to make friends and gotten to know a lot of you. This is an extremely sad time and I just think that this might be the last entry I put here.
Anywho...I hope you are all well.

Some News....And A New Taste In Chocolate
Hello dear world
Good evening all !!!!!! I do have a bit of news for you. Today started another busy week of work for me. A really cute guy that didn't work at my job flirted with me today. It all began when he saw me wearing my Atlanta Falcons t-shirt. He told me that he liked it and he smiled at me the whole time. I told him that I didn't wear my shirt yesterday which is probably why they lost the game sadly enough. He laughed at what I said but he seemed to like flirting with me. I ended up forgetting to get his telephone number but I did like talking to him.
In other news I did get some good news from my doctor about my Ultrasound but I am sure I don't want to bore you with that news. It was good news however and I am glad to have gotten some good news from my tests.
I wanted to tell you that I stepped out of my usual taste in chocolate and I bought a little box of Lindt Excellence DARK Chocolate with Chili which I have NEVER tried before. I have NEVER eaten dark chocolate I usually eat milk chocolate and this was the first time I tried a new kind of chocolate and its pretty delicious. You can taste the fire of the chili pepper mixed in with the dark chocolate which makes it quite good. I really have to try more flavors of dark chocolate instead of just milk chocolate. I highly recommend this chocolate. Here is the link that you might want to check out for yourself ----> http://www.lindt.com/ You might want to try some dark chocolate with chili its worth trying.
Here is some food for thought : "All you need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." - Charles M. Schulz
So my dear world how are things in your part of the world ? I do hope that you had a nice Monday. Do keep me posted.
Good night

An Afternoon Of Shopping....
Hello dear world
Good afternoon everyone !!!!! Well I know you will be totally surprised when you hear my news. A little while ago my youngest niece Megan and I and my father went to the dollar store to do some shopping. I know....me shopping who would have guessed ??
Yes I went shopping and I had fun shopping. I ended up getting some really cute stickers that I liked including some Halloween stickers that I liked. I also bought my youngest niece some stickers she wanted. I also got yet another book by a writer named Pamela Ditchoff. The title of the book is "Seven Days & Seven Sins" which I saw and decided to get. You might want to know that you can find it on Amazon I checked. From the inside cover I read that its a collection of short stories that are both unique and a delight to read. I will have to find some time to read the books I have bought.I have bought so many books that I don't know how I will ever get around to reading them all.
In other news the lines at the gas stations are still quite long and growing and growing. I don't know if things will change when it comes to the gas. A lot of gas stations are running out of gas.
Of course the stores are filling up on Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations and such. I love this time of year when you see Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations at the same time.
The weather here in Atlanta, Georgia is quite nice and warm not a raindrop in sight. At the moment my folks are watching Football. Its a day of sports and hanging out at the house.
Of course I have been off of work this weekend. I seem to have the weekends off which I like. Tomorrow I have go back into work and its supposed to be another busy busy week. How are things in your part of the world ? Did you all enjoy your weekend ??
From reading one of my favorite journals I came upon a blog that I just had to share. I really liked reading it and I hope you enjoy it as I did. Here is the link for it so you can drop in and give it a look -----> A YEAR FROM OAK COTTAGE ------> http://ayearatoakcottage.blogspot.com/
That's about all for now. I'll get back to you again later.

A Trip Around The World....
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone. I wanted to come and tell you about my Saturday. I have to say that it was a nice one. Our church St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church held an International Night.
The International Night was an event where people from all over the world flew in and brought in food from the countries in which they live. There were people from Jamaica, the Philippines, Ireland, Slovakia, Hungary, Cameroon, France, Togo, Sierra Leone, Poland, Holland, Panama, Liberia as well as Nigeria, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Haiti, Germany, Africa, Colombia, Italy, Guyana and Ghana. There was also music from all over the world. I saw a guy there from Scotland wearing a traditional Scottish kilt. It was fun taking a trip around the world and seeing people from places that I have always wanted to visit. My trip was fun and the food was good.
Before the night was over my oldest niece won a really huge basket from the Dutch country filled with chocolates, tea and wine. Our night was really fun and I have to say that it was fun learning about different parts of the world. I really enjoyed the Mariachi band and there were some Nigerian children there dancing. There were people there from Haiti doing a dance that symbolized where they live.
So how was your day my dear world ?? I do hope that you had a really nice Saturday. That's all of my news for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Good night
Notes From Friday....
Hello dear world
Good morning everyone !!!!!!! How are you all ? Well here I am again. I do have tons of news for you but where to begin ???
How about I start with some good news ? The results from my mom's liver biopsy is that the spot that was seen turned out to be a benign lesion. I'm glad that the results of her biopsy turned out good. She is getting better but she is still sore. I'm just glad that it wasn't cancer or anything.
Anywho...yesterday was another busy day at work for me. Earlier in the day my coworker C**M told me that she had saw Andrew and that he had asked about me. Later in the day I saw Andrew and he was very happy to see me. I had NOT seen him in a couple of weeks. I was wondering where he was. He told me that he had been busy working. I wonder if I'll see him next week.
In other news I am still reading "TRIBUTE" by Nora Roberts. Yesterday I did go and buy some books called "New Moon" and "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer. I have been wanting to read her books. A lot of people at work have been reading them and they told me that her books were pretty good. I'll have to finish TRIBUTE so I can start on Stephenie's books.
By the way I did watch the movie "CONSPIRACY" with Val Kilmer and I have to say that the movie was totally great. Val was quite wonderful in the movie. I totally think that he deserved an academy award for his work in the movie. I am glad that I rented it.
Some different women at my work told me that they liked my lipstick. Some other women were wondering if I was looking for a boyfriend or if I was going out after work since I had on my lipstick. I am thinking I will stick with the people who liked my lipstick and how it looked on me. I think that I will keep wearing it and I won't throw it away. Those people who don't like it well that's their opinion.
So how are things in yourneck of the woods ? I do hope that all is well. It is the weekend but so far I have NO plans for the weekend. Do you have any plans ? Keep me posted. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Bye

A Personal Thought....
Hello dear world
Good evening. How is everyone today ? I had to come by and share a thought with you that kind of hurt my feelings today. I hope you don't mind me sharing this note.
Anywho...yesterday at work I wore some red lipstick that my mom gave me from AVON. The lipstick was red but not a dark red just a soft shade of red. My mom and my oldest niece said that it looked nice on me. They said that it was a good color for me.
The thing is yesterday some people at my work said that I looked like a clown with the lipstick on. Someone else said that it made me look like my mouth was bleeding. I didn't have the lipstick with me at work today because I forgot it at home. I wish I would have had it at work with me today.
I laughed off the comments that were made to me but the comments that were made really hurt my feelings. My mom always said that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all and that's how I felt yesterday and today. I was disappointed at the fact that people could say things like that to me without thinking.
Am I wrong my dear world ?? I really like the lipstick and I didn't feel like I looked like a clown with the lipstick on. I don't know if I should have said something to those who made a comment but I didn't. I was hurt by the comments and I felt that the comments were rather harsh. The people who made the comments were laughing as they made the comments as if the comments were funny. It made me feel bad as the comments were said.
I don't know my dear world perhaps I am overreacting to the situation or maybe I should just forget about the comments and act like nothing was said. I have always been nice to the people who made the comments and today they were mean to me and I felt like they were wrong. How should I handle such a situation my dear world ??
Am I in the wrong for feeling this way ??? Maybe its just me. I don't know how I should feel about the comments. Tomorrow I want to wear the lipstick to work but maybe I shouldn't since they don't seem to like it.
Could I be entirely wrong about this ???

News....And A Personal Medical Note
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Of course today started another week at work for me. I did finish reading "HEARTBREAKER" which was a very good book. I started a new book by Nora Roberts called "TRIBUTE" . So far in the book there is a woman named Cilla McGowan and she has just met her neighbor Ford Sawyer and his dog Spock. I'll tell you more about it later.
On the more personal note
Today I had to go for an ultrasound at Kaiser. Apparently I have cyst's which is why I went for the ultrasound. I'll have to wait to see what my doctor says about the whole thing. If the cyst's have grown I'll probably have to have surgery to have them removed. It might turn out that the cyst's have NOT grown which I'm hoping. Getting an ultrasound is definitely NOT fun. I'll have to wait to see how things turn out but hopefully it all turns out fine I just don't know. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
I do have to add that my show "HOUSE" did NOT win an award. My favorite actors Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard did NOT win any awards. My other show "BONES" did NOT win any awards. My favorites David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel and John Francis Daley did NOT win an award. What is going on ??? Come on people !!!!!!!!!! I am so NOT happy about this. Come on !!!!!!
My dear world I hope you had a nice Monday. There were a ton of people at my job today and it will probably be a very busy busy week. How are things in your part of the world ? That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Good night

Update...
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone. I wanted to come by and say hello. It was a rather quiet Sunday for me. I do have some news for you.
The movie "88 Minutes" with Al Pacino was quite good. I really liked Al in the movie and I thought he did a great job. It left you guessing until the very end which I liked. I am glad I rented it and I thought that Al was the best part of the movie.
I haven't seen the rest of the movies yet. I do have to go to work tomorrow but after work I have to go to the doctor for another ultrasound. Do not be alarmed I'm sure everything is fine. I will have to let you know how it goes.
By the way you might want to know that the Atlanta Falcons won the football game this evening which is great news. I am proud of the Atlanta Falcons. I will wear my Falcons t-shirt to work with me.
How was your Sunday my dear world ?? I do hope that you had a nice weekend. I do hope that things are well in your neck of the woods. Do enjoy your week ahead.

Dinner And Some Movies.....
Hello dear world
Good evening all !!!!!! Here I am again. I had a really nice and long Saturday. I just got home with my family from our day. Earlier today we were going to the theater since we had some tickets for a movie but the tickets aren't until the 27th of September. We decided to head to Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch which was quite good. My mom and I had the Outlaw Ribeye which was very very very very good. I had mine cooked medium well and she had hers cooked medium. She had her ribeye with a baked potato while I had mine with mashed potatoes which I loved. My dad had a ribeye with a lobster tail. My oldest niece had chicken fingers with fries and my youngest niece we had stopped off and got her McDonald's to bring to Longhorn's with us. Our dinner was quite good and I have to tell you that I love going to Longhorn's its always a good place to go eat.
After lunch we then headed to the mall and my oldest niece finally decided on a pair of tennis shoes she wanted and I only did some window shopping. My folks and I and my niece's walked the entire mall and it was quite busy there with people. Women were handing out those fragrance sample's on those little cards which made I hate. The entire fragrance department smelled like it was bathed in perfume and cologne. I did like window shopping at the different stores but I didn't feel like buying anything. I went to the candy store but they didn't have the candy I wanted which I wasn't happy about.
The best part of my day was going to Blockbuster Video where I picked up some movie's I wanted. I ended up getting 88 Minutes with Al Pacino who I love to watch and I also got a movie called Conspiracy with Val Kilmer. My youngest niece got her some movies she wanted including The Nightmare Before Christmas and a few other movies . My oldest niece also got her a movie called Baby Mama .
All in all our Saturday was a nice one. How was your day my dear world ? I do hope that all is well in your part of the world. Its kind of late here in Atlanta, Georgia. I hope that you were able to enjoy your day as I did. I will have to let you know how my movies were. I'll talk to you again later.
Good night

The Best Day....
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone !!!!!! As you might be wondering I had a very very very very very wonderful Sunday.
My day began with a trip to a place called Moe's where my folks and I and my niece's went to eat. I ordered a Triple Lindy burrito with black beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream which was very good. We had NOT been to Moe's in a while. The food is always good and the burrito was huggggggggge to say the least and I enjoyed it. My folks had a different burrito and my youngest niece had a hamburger from Wendy's and my oldest niece had a different burrito from Moe's. We had a really nice lunch at Moe's. Here is the link ---> http://www.moes.com/
After lunch we took a ride over to the Sports Authority where I ended up buying an Atlanta Falcons t-shirt for my mom and I and I also purchased a orange Nike shirt for myself as well.
After the Sports Authority we went to TJMaxx where my oldest niece wanted a cute purse she liked so I bought it for her. I didn't buy anything there but it was fun looking around the store at all of the things in the store.
After TJMaxx we then took a ride to my favorite store of all.....Barnes & Noble. I had a fun time going to the bookstore. I looked at several books I wanted and I got myself a few books titled "Keeping Faith" by the writer Jodi Picoult and "The Canterbury Tales" by Geoffrey Chaucer and "Listen To Your Heart" by Fern Michaels and the book "Irresistible" by Susan Mallery. I also bought myself a really nice bookmark that I liked. They have a ton of books at Barnes & Noble. I also bought my youngest niece some books she wanted including one on Gemstones since she likes Gems and rocks and things. I also bought my oldest niece a Cliffs Notes books on the play Macbeth. After purchasing some books my mom and I and my oldest niece went to the Starbucks in the bookstore where I bought myself a coffee frappucchino and my mom got a dry coffee cappucchino she wanted and my oldest niece got a bottled water. My frappucchino was quite delicious and I enjoyed it. I used a gift cardI had gotten from my aunt to purchase the books and I used my Barnes & Noble member's card to purchase the books and the coffe drinks for my mom and I. I have to say that I love love love love love love love going to Barnes & Noble bookstore its always fun going there and getting some books I have NOT read before.

It's Friday !!!!!!!!
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. It is Friday and the weekend is officially here. I do have some news for you all.
You might want to know that for lunch with two of my coworker's F****S and C**M we ended up going to lunch at a place called Po' Folks I can tell you that my lunch was quite good. I had some catfish fillets which were quite good. The mashed potatoes were quite good as well. The cornbread dressing I had was also quite good. It was nice going there to eat for lunch. It was my very first time going there. I really liked the place and the food was pretty delicious. I can't wait to go back there to eat. Here is the link to the restaurant -------> http://www.pofolks.com/
In other news I have to say that I liked reading "WHITE LIES" it was a very good book. I must tell you that I did move on. I am now on the next book. I thought since its coming up to election time I would choose a book centered around politics. I started a book called "Sammy's Hill" by the writer Kristin Gore.
Sammy's Hill is about a woman named Sammy Joyce a twenty-six-year-old political analyst who lands a job on Capitol Hill in which she is hired by a rising Democratic senator. Sammy finally has the opportunity to make a difference in the world but as devoted as she is to her work , she soon discovers that trying to change the world leaves little time for romance. She then meets Aaron Driver who is a handsome speechwriter for a rival senator whom Sammy doesn't like. Before she knows it Sammy finds herself at the heart of a romantic tangle, a showdown of health care reform and the highest stakes of all - a presidential election campaign.
So my dear world how are things in your part of the world ? I do hope that those in the path of Ike are able to make it out and hopefully people are being able to evacuate quickly and safely. I wanted to know howeveryone is doing. I do hope that things are well where ever you are.
That's about it for me and my news. I'll talk to you again later.

Just A Little News....
Hello dear world
Good evening !!!!!!!! Here I am again. Well it was another day at work for me and it was a very very very busy day. I did finish reading "The MacGregor Brides" and I have to say that it was a very good book. I started reading a new book as of today called "WHITE LIES" by the writer Jayne Ann Krentz and I have to say that its a terrific and interesting book. I highly recommend this one for a book to read. If you have any books you would like to point out to me please do let me know.
I have been keeping up with the political campaign's going on between both candidates and I have to say that its a lot to take in. I will have to learn some more information about Sarah Palin I don't know much about her. I haven't made up my mind yet about any of the candidates its just a lot to decide on. I still have some thinking to do on this.
I am excited to report that my favorite show "BONES" is back on fox. I have to say that I am still a huge huge huge fan of the show.
The weather in my neck of the woods has been quite pleasant. How are things with you my dear world ??? I hope all is well in your part of the world ?? Do you have any news for me ?
That's about all for now. I just thought I would pop in and say hello.

Some News....
Hello dear world
Good morning all !!!!!! Here I am again. Its the weekend of course. It was quite the busy week for me at work at the H.R. Banke Justice Center but I am beginning my weekend.
You might want to know that I finished reading "On Mystic Lake" .The book was quite good. Annie did return to Blake but it did NOT work out. She did try to make it work with Blake. She had found out that she was pregnant with Blake's baby but the marriage between them did NOT work. She did take her newborn baby with her as she decides to go back to Nick Delacroix and Izzy. I am glad that it ended the way it did. I think that Nick was far better for Annie than Blake was. On Mystic Lake was well worth reading.
I am now started on a book that I got at CVS called "The MacGregor Brides" by Nora Roberts. The story is about three women Julia, Gwen and Laura. They share a house in Boston and they are quite happily single, a fact that doesn't make the family patriarch happy. Grandfather daniel MacGregor won't rest easy until his Julia, Gwen and Laura are safely wed and hopefully producing the next generation.
I just started reading it and I have to say that its pretty good and its quite interesting. I do like to read books and its always fun to find a book that I like.
I did find a candle at CVS which is a mocha candle and it smells good. It was originally $7.99 and I got it on sale for $2.00 which I thought was a good price. I also bought a pink folder for my oldest niece. I also bought another book called "If There Be Dragons" by Kay Hooper.
So my dear world how are you my dear world ?? How are things in your neck of the woods. I do hope that all is well. The weather in my part of the world has been nice and it hasn't been too hot. It is a beautiful morning in Atlanta, Georgia and my family and I are doing fine.
I guess that's all for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Bye

Happy Labor Day
Hello dear world
Good evening !!!!!! I hope you are all enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Today my mom came back after being out at a store and she bought me some books. I started reading one of my books which is titled "On Mystic Lake" by the writer Kristin Hannah. So far the book has started out with a woman named Annie Colwater who is married to a man named Blake Colwater and he has told her that he is cheating on her with a younger woman and he wants a divorce from his wife. The thing is he told her in a very mean way and he is a very terrible horrible guy in that he is cheating on his wife with a woman that he works with. I have to say that I really really really hate the guy in the book.
Have you ever read a book my dear world where you just couldn't stand one of the people in the book ? I will have to continue reading it to let you know how it goes but the guy in this book makes it hard to read it because I just find him irritating and digusting. I do like the woman Annie she is a really good person and they do have an older daughter who went away for specific reason's but Annie didn't see it coming that her husband was cheating on her. I feel that Annie deserves better than how she is getting treated. Hopefully things turn out well for her. Here is the link for the author ---> http://www.kristinhannah.com/
Question : Are you reading a book that you would like to share any details of ?? Do let me know.
That's about all for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

News For Friday...
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone its Friday. How are you today ?? I have a bit of news for you. First things first...it was a pretty warm day today in Atlanta, Georgia and the rain from Hurricane Fay has passed.
Of course last night I watched the Democratic National Convention on television. I watched Barack Obama's acceptance speech and I have to say that I think that he did a great job. I think that he made a very outstanding speech. I don't know how you feel my dear world but perhaps Barack will make a great president he seems to be doing a great job so far with his speech's and talking in front of the entire world. I don't know my dear world what do you think ??? I will have to see McCain and the debate's before I fully make a decision. Is it okay for me to speak about politics ???
Anywho....it was another day at work for me. The lady that had started with us a while back has been trying to create problems with my coworker's and I and my old supervisor since my other supervisor had to be placed at another building where he was needed to make changes there. My coworker's and I recently have had to take care of her work and then she had to come with us for the rest of the day so we could get finished with our work since she has been calling to the head boss and complaining about what work she can't do and what she doesn't like to do. She doesn't seem to like us since she complained she didn't want to sit with us on the break time but we didn't ask her to sit with us because she doesn't try to be friendly with us. I don't know my dear world what it is but she just seems to want to create problems in our department.
The worst news of all is that yesterday Clayton County schools lost their accreditation due to the problems of the school board which were asked to resign but they declined. Recently the school's lost their accreditation which was a decision reached. The school is going to appeal the decision since this will affect the student's such as my oldest niece who will soon be affected since she will graduate as a senior in the coming month's. I think that its sad that this had to happen and that the student's will be affected in this way. I hope that things get better soon.
Yes the embarrassing moment I had is still lingering with me. The embarrassing moment was partly my fault since I opened my mouth and admitted something about a certain someone that I liked and it got out to one of the women at my work that I didn't think would be told to her but of course it was. Anywho...I won't be quite so honest the next time around. I have to remember that embarrassing moments happen but I am still embarrassed about it.
There is a show called "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" on television ---> http://www.fox.com/areyousmarter/ and Regis was on the show and he was asked questions that he did NOT know and guess what my mom asked me the questions and I knew the answers to the questions. The question was asked : Who wrote the poem "The Road Less Travelled" and Regis did NOT know who the poet was and me I knew the answers to a lot of the questions that Regis did NOT know. I am proud to say that I am smarter than a 5th grader. The answer of course was the poet Mr. Robert Frost. Am I good or what ???
So how are you my dear world ??? How was your Friday ?? I do hope that all is well with you. The weekend is here do you have any plans ??
That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Good-night

News...And A Birthday
Hello dear world
Good evening all !!!!!! You have probably been wondering where I've been. Well I have been around at work and at home. Anywho...Hurricane Fay in Florida seems to have passed through our neck of the woods.
We got quite a bit of wind in our neighborhood and today it rained quite a bit. Earlier today my family and I went to Chuck 'E'Cheese Pizza. My dad wanted to go there to celebrate his birthday. My dad turned 61 years old. My niece's and I played games and I gave them some of my tokens and I also gave them my tickets that I won from playing some games. I got on a ride with my niece's that simulates being on a actual roller coaster which was fun. There were quite a lot of babies and some kids there with their families. It was quite busy there. We had some Italian sub sandwiches and pizza which was good.
How was your weekend my dear world ?? I do hope that you had a nice weekend. I have to recommend a movie for you that you must see. The movie that I recommend is called "The Brave One" with Jodie Foster which I must say was quite wonderful. Here is the link for you to check it out -------> http://thebraveone.warnerbros.com/ . Jodie Foster was quite good in the movie both my folks and I enjoyed seeing it.
I am sorry for not being around recently but you know how it goes with life and stuff. I do have to get back to work tomorrow after being off this weekend. I will talk to you again soon.
Take care dear world

Some Shopping...And A Bad Restaurant Review
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone !!!!! How are you today ? I hope that you all had a pleasant Sunday.
Earlier this morning my folks and I and my niece's went to eat at a place called "Luella's" and I hate to say it but I have to give them a bad restaurant review. I and my mom and my oldest niece agreed with me. I in the end gave them a D for both their food and their dessert. I ended up having a breakfast plate and I tried their dessert which I have to say wasn't good. They claimed to have a taste of Creole cooking which they didn't of course. The breakfast plate I had wasn't good and I have to say that my mom and my oldest niece said that we won't be going back.
After the restaurant we took a ride over to TJMaxx where I did some shopping. I ended up getting a Halloween skeleton bride and groom music box which has bats which when you turn it upside down the bats glide around the music box and it plays a Halloween sort of music which I instantly liked. I also got a Halloween figurine I liked. I always have liked weird things I don't really know why. I also bought some coffee I saw.
After TJMaxx we went to Walmart where I bought my baby catfish some food and a purple tank top my oldest niece wanted. We then went home and changed our tank since the one our catfish was in had a leak in and we got some new marbles to put in a new tank we had already at the tank. Our catfish was none too happy with us for taking him out and fooling with him.
All in all we had a really nice Sunday. How was your day my dear world ? I do hope that all is well with you. Of course tomorrow is back to work for me. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again soon.
Take care
