....Notes And A Birthday Lunch

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ? Its Friday !!!!! My day began with me getting up and getting dressed for work. Of course it was a rather cool day in Georgia but it was alright for a Friday.

You might want to know that earlier this afternoon my coworkers and I treated our supervisor to lunch since it was his birthday at a place called the "Golden Corral" where you can go the food bar and get various dishes. They also have a salad bar where you can get stuff you want for your salad. I myself didn't get a salad however I got some macaroni-n-cheese, some mashed potatoes, french fries, a Salmon fillet, some dressing and fried onions. For dessert I got some chocolate hot fudge cake, a brownie and a cupcake. My coworkers and my supervisor said they enjoyed their meals and after we finished my supervisor thanked us for lunch. Our supervisor is a pretty nice guy and we all like him. He is a pretty decent supervisor and we have enjoyed having him as a supervisor. He has told us that he prefers being with us in our department than where he used to work before becoming to our department. This morning I gave him a birthday card with a bit of money inside for him which he liked. Anywho...our day was nice it wasn't busy at all at our work so we worked and then we got off at our usual time.

Once I got home I ate a Subway tuna sandwich. I have to say that Subway has the best sandwiches and I especially like their tuna sandwich. After dinner my folks and I watched the old classic movie "12 Angry Men" with Henry Fonda which we happen to like. The movie is pretty good and Henry Fonda definitely makes the movie worth watching.

All in all it was a pretty nice day today. How was your Friday my dear world ? I hope you got to enjoy your day. If you received any warm sunshine in your part of the world don't tell me I don't want to know. Tomorrow starts the weekend so do you have any plans for the weekend ?

That's about it for me. I'll get back with you later. Take care my dear world. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.....ha ha ha

Update...

Hello dear world

Good evening. I do have some news for you. A little while ago my mom and I returned from our Citizens Police Academy class which was two classes. Our first class was Investigations and I have to say that our teacher didn't have a clue how to lecture in the class. Our teacher was a male detective who gave us handouts and he went about reading from the handouts and it was just him repeating fact after fact and he just didn't do much of a job at being a teacher. I don't think that he has been in a classroom in quite a while.

The other part of our class was our C.S.I. class which was taught by a female Investigator who did wonderfullly. She took us to a part of the building in the Police Headquarters where we learned how to collect fingerprints on different objects and we also learned how to collect our own fingerprints on different objects. I have to say that our C.S.I. class was well worth it. My mom and I collected our fingerprints on fingerprint paper which we brought home with us.

I have to tell you my dear world that the fingerprint powder is the most terrible stuff in the world. The fingerprint powder gets all over you and its hard to wipe off. The fingerprint powder is a huge mess when your working with it. I can see now why investigators wear gloves to a crime scene. I don't see how the women on the hit show C.S.I. Miami and the rest of the show stay so clean when they work with the fingerprint powder that stuff is just oh my goodness. I have washed my hands like a thousand times since I got home and it still seems to look like its on my hands. I don't know what it is my dear world but I think that being an Investigator is a tough job when you have to collect fingerprints at a crime scene. I have to admit that when I got home I watched an old episode of C.S.I. on television.

Anywho......we didn't get a chance to work with any blood which I have to say I'm happy about. Just learning how to collect fingerprints was a job in itself. I just wanted to share that with you. Our next class will be next Thursday where we will learn about SWAT which I'm sure will be something.

So how was your night my dear world ? I learned quite a bit tonight but it was quite interesting. What did you do tonight ?? I hope you had a really nice evening. Of course tomorrow I have to get back to work after my being off today so I will say good night for now.

...I'm sure your going to get tired of me telling you about the things I do in my class and what I learn. One of these days I'll have to find a guy that I am interested in and perhaps...start dating....what a thought huh ????

Good night dear world......Sweet Dreams

My Day

Hello dear world

How are you all ?? Let me begin by saying that it was a rather cold morning in Atlanta but as the afternoon went on it warmed up quite a bit which was nice.

As you know I took the day off of work today. I had to go and get my taxes done. I had to pay $80.00 to get my taxes done. I will be getting my money mailed to me and I will be getting a little bit back which will get spent just as soon as I get it. I don't normally take any time off of work so it was nice being able to get some of my business taken care of.

After my family and I went to get our taxes done my folks and I dropped off my older sister since it was still early and she wanted to go to bed.

My folks and I however made a day of it. First we went to a place called the "Super H Mart" to have lunch. They have some places inside where you can eat at. I went to a Korean place where I ordered some shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls. My folks went to a place which was at the end of the restaurant aisle. My parent's weren't thrilled about their meals but I liked mine. Since I've been working I haven't been out to lunch with them on a week day in a while. I can tell you that my lunch was quite good.

After our lunch my folks and I stopped off at Toys "R"Us to get a stethoscope that my niece Megan needs for school tomorrow. After Toys "R"Us we went over to my favorite place to shop at........JoAnn's. I bought some rubber stamps with some rainbow ink in a pack. I also purchased some stickers and I also purchased some things my mom wanted. I did have fun going to JoAnn's it was wonderful and I enjoyed my shopping trip.

At the moment I am at home. You might want to know that I don't have my night off I do have to go to my Citizens Police Academy Class at 6:30pm. Our class will cover Investigations and yes the C.S.I. We get to get dirty tonight since we will be working with blood.....yes blood. I can't wait to go to class tonight I think that it will be fun and I will also learn somethingelse new tonight in class.

Tonight I went here and there and got some business taken care of and I went to lunch and I also went shopping so all in all it was a pretty nice Thursday. How was your day my dear world ?? I do hope you got to have a nice one.

By the way I did watch my show "In Treatment" on HBO. The session last night was with Sophie which went a little rough. The young woman named Sophie on the show has a terrible relationship with her mother and her mother went to Sophie's therapy session because her mother wants her to stop her gymnastic's training. The show is pretty interesting because it gets more and more into the people's lives.

That's about all for now. I will tell you all about my class later. Do take care everyone and I will talk to you again.

Have a good one !!!!!!!!!

Spring Is On The Way....

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!! How is everyone ?? I am doing quite well today. Well it seems that this is the last week of February which means that the month of MARCH is just around the corner which means "SPRING IS ON ITS WAY" yeah !!!!!!!

I am happy to report that it was a beautiful day in Atlanta, Georgia today with 60 degree weather and there was plenty of blue skies. I enjoyed the weather and I can't wait for Spring to be here. We still have a few more days of Winter to come but Spring is definitely on the way.

Is there anything your looking forward to when Spring comes ??

Anywho...today was the beginning to another week at work for me but it was a lovely day to be at work. You might want to know that since my supervisor's birthday is on Thursday my coworker's and I decided that we will be taking him to lunch on Friday at the Golden Corral and treating him to lunch which we already knows about. He is enjoying being our supervisor and yes there is absolutely NO more drama in our department and we are all love love love love love love lovvvving it.

In other news on my way home from work I stopped off at a little grocery store in my neighborhood and I picked up a few things including a movie on DVD called "the Matchmaker" with Janeane Garofalo and Denis Leary. I haven't seen it yet but I will definitely tell you about it once I do. I saw the movie and I thought I would get it.

So my dear world how was your day ? Did you have to go to work today ? I just thought I would pop in and say hello and let you know that I am feeling pretty good.

All in all it was a pretty nice day today. I'll be back to talk to you later.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow everyone !!!!!!!!!

It's Saturday....the Weekend

Hello dear world

Good evening !!! Yes, its Saturday "the weekend" and I am off of work for the weekend. How are you my dear world ? I thought I would pop in and say hello.

I thought you might want to know that I have been watching a show on HBO called "In Treatment" which I have to say is pretty interesting. In Treatment is a show where different individuals go to see a psychotherapist. You have to check out the link to see tons of information about it -------> http://www.hbo.com/intreatment/ . On the show there is a young lady on it named Sophie and she is a teenage Olympic Gymnast. I have to say that I like Sophie she is a very smart and talented young woman but she is trying to hurt herself which is sad. It has really been interesting learning about the people. You watch the different individuals such as Sophie talk about their problems as well as listen to them talk about their lives.

Anywho...I just wanted to share that with you. Recently some people here at J-Land have been feeling down recently especially like my friend of "Brit's Blog". You might want to pop over and offer her a few words to cheer her up.

I do hope that everyone is having a nice weekend of relaxing or just hanging at home like I am. I also hope that you will enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Have a great day tomorrow everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!

A Wet Rainy Yucky Day....

Hello dear world

Good evening. It was a soaking wet rainy day today in my neck of the woods and I had to go to work today. Work kept me pretty busy but it was a work day.

Anywho...you might want to know that my mom and I headed off to our Citizens Police Academy Class which started at 6:30pm at the Police Headquarters right after I got home from work which is close to my job. Today we had (2) classes in the same room.

The first class we had was about the K-9 Unit and yes the K-9 Dogs were brought into the class one by one. Two of our classmates got to be involved in showing how the K-9 Dogs help to apprehend suspects which was quite something. There was a class next door to ours called "The Explorers" which is a class with young adults and who were allowed to come into our class as we were taught about the K-9 Unit. Let me tell you that the K-9 Dogs are huge and they are given responses in German and Slavic since the dogs are imported. Before the dogs were brought into the class we were taught the difference between Full Service K-9 and Single Purpose K-9. We also learned about the K-9 Dogs who are trained to detect various explosive odors such as gunpowder to C-4. The class was quite interesting indeed I learned quite a lot about the K-9 Unit.

The other class we had covered the Narcotics Unit taught by one of the agents who runs the Narcotics Division. We learned how the Narcotics Unit is responsible for the Investigation of violations of the State and Federal Controlled Substance Laws. We also learned about their methods of investigation they use including a Surveillance Search Warrant, their Undercover Operations and their Wiretap's and how the Narcotics Unit also use the K-9 Unit in their work.I can tell you that the teacher we had was quite good and he taught us for quite a while.

We didn't get out of class until 10:00pm. My dear world I have to say that I am learning a lot in the class and I am glad that I signed up for the class. There is so much I am learning about. Next week we will be getting a first hand look at how fingerprints are found because our class will cover Investigations and the C.S.I. We will be getting dirty next week so we were warned to NOT wear fancy clothes since we will be getting a hands on required participation class next week which I can't wait for. Our next class is Thursday February 28.

So my dear world how was your day ? Did you have to work today ? I do hope that you didn't have to go out in any nasty weather like I did. That's all for now. I'll talk to you again later.

Bye

Wednesday's Jottings

Hello dear world

Good evening and how is everyone ? I am doing quite well today. It was another day at work for me and I am happy to report that the heat in our building is back to working and the temperature in the building was fine.

You might want to know that this morning I found a book at work called "The Book Club" by a writer named Mary Alice Monroe. I have NEVER read the book before but I think I am going to like the book very much. You might also want to know that one of my female coworker's named F*****S who I work with saw a nice purse at a thrift store while we were on our lunch break and she pointed it out to me and I have to say that I immediately liked it. The purse is the color of green olives. Why am I telling you this ? Well she ended up buying it for me at the thrift store which was really nice of her.

I am happy to report that the weather in my neck of the woods was quite nice today despite the fact that it was a little cold in the morning. Anywho....how were things in your neck of the woods ? How was your day my dear world ?? I hope you were able to have a really nice one as I did.

That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again later.

Byyyyyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Notes For Today....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!! Its me again. Well its Tuesday and I had to work today. You will be happy to know that I contributed to the gross national product. It was quite a windy day today which made it kind of cold. I have to tell you that today at work it was like a sauna on the 3rd floor in the building that I work in apparently there was something wrong with the heat and it did get fixed but it took a while for the floor to get cooled down. One of the women that works on the floor nearly passed out earlier this morning because she has asthma and she had trouble getting enough oxygen so the coworker I was working with this morning took her out to the patio we have so she could get some air which helped her. Later in the day we found out that she was better and able to work.

Anywho....I did work my tail off today at work its been pretty busy this week. Later on once I got home from work I came home to the delicious aroma of chocolate brownies that my mom had in the oven. Let me tell you the brownies were delicious. The aroma was the best part of the brownies because the aroma was well worth having the brownies.

You might also want to know that I received a card in the mail from my friend Rebecca and I have to say that the card is quite beautiful and I appreciate her kindness. I will be sending her a card as well. Thank you Rebecca you are so very sweet.

I did want to thank my other friend Guido for sharing some information about that story that was in the newspaper a while back. I am glad that I got some more information about the story I was wondering about the person mentioned in the story.

I did want to mention that I am haven't been watching American Idol this year I'm just not into it. That's all my news how was your day my dear world ? Are you longing for Summer as I am ????

Well I will say bye for now. Bye

President's Day, Work And A Mystery.....

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? Anywho....as some of you might not know its President's Day of course I had to work since I work at a courthouse and it was a busy busy busy day. You might also want to know that today there was a bomb threat at my work but we did NOT have to evacuate the building since it was over in another part of the building. Apparently NO bomb was found even though there was a search nothing turned up thank goodness. You will be happy to know that everyone is safe and sound.

I did want to thank all of you for your responses to the Gun Control issue I addressed previously. I really do have a lot to think about on that issue still but a lot of you helped me to sort some of my thoughts out.

Anywho...earlier today on my lunch break two of my female coworkers and I went to a thrift store and yes I picked upthe movie called "Circle Of Friends" with Chris O'Donnell who I like as an actor. I have seen it before but I wanted to buy it so I could watch it again. I also picked up some books while I was there which as you all know I like to read quite a bit.

Yesterday I was home just hanging out in my bedroom since it was a rather windy and dark day. Later on in the evening the sky did open up and it rained for quite a while. I didn't have to go out anywhere so I just stayed home and enjoyed the rain.

In other news my dear world there was a headline in the newspaper a while back which read "Who is the 'piano man' ?" and I wanted to share the story with you because I was wondering if any of you had any more information on the story. Here is the story :

British newspapers reported that the man was found April 7 or 8 on the Isle of Sheppey, a small quiet island and sailing resort near the mouth of the River Thames. He is a tall and fair-haired man in his 20's or 30's and to have judged from his clothing on the day he was found he had emerged from the sea. The man simply appeared, dripping wet in a black dinner suit, white shirt and necktie. Curiously, all the designer labels from his clothes had been ripped out.

Mr. X was taken to a local hospital. He was unable to speak or at any rate declined. Interpreters were called in to try different languages but elicited no response. He cringed when people tried to approach. After a time, his caregivers handed him a piece of paper and a pencil hoping he might write something. Instead he drew a detailed picture of a grand piano.

Social worker Michael Camp led him to the piano in the hospital chapel. There, the man relaxed for the first time. His demeanor became calm. Then he began to play and play. The man cries sometimes and smiles now and then but he never speaks. He had written pieces of music, which he holds close to his body and will not let anyone see.

Television viewers and newspaper readers phoned in their suggestions. One tip had seemed promising but the tip proved wrong. In the meantime, hospital staff members have denied the mystery man access to the piano, at least for the moment, in an effort to make him speak.

If any of you have any information to this story please do let me know because I haven't seen any more details about this story in the newspaper thank you. I just wanted to know if anyone had any information about the guy because I am a fan of mysteries and I was curious about this story and who the man was.

So my dear world last but not least how was your day ? I hope that things are good in your neck of the woods ? I am doing well and chugging along. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again soon.

Bye

Inspired After The Shooting in Dekalb, Illinois

Hello dear world

How are you all today ? I wanted to come by and chat for just a few minutes. I heard about the shooting in Dekalb, Illinois at NIU and I was saddened to hear the news. I thought back to the shooting at Virginia Tech and I wanted to come by and hear what you think.

Of course everyone has a opinion of how it happened, how it can be avoided and how it can be eliminated in the future. I do think that we need tighter security in our nation's schools but that is just the small amount of the problem.

The bigger issue is...Gun Control

What do you think should be done about Gun Control my dear world ? Do you feel that there should be laws for Gun Control put on the federal level or should there be a consideration on the fact that in our Constitution, it states that "We as citizens have the right to bare arms" ? Should we have the right to bare arms ?

My question is how did the guy who did the shooting get the guns and how did he get on the campus with the guns he was carrying ? Did he have a gun permit ? I also heard that he was on medication but he had stopped taking it so how was he able to get the gun he had ?

My dear world should we take another look at our Gun Control laws ??? What are your thoughts ?? Should we also take a look at the NRA ??

I was just wanting to get some feed back on what you think about this so I can get some clear thoughts on this. Please do leave me any thoughts you have on this issue. Thanks for listening my dear world.

Take care everyone

Happy Valentine's Day !!!!!!!!!

Hello dear world

Happy Valentine's Day !!!!!!! I have to tell you that I had the most wonderful Valentine's Day. First things first though...the weather in my part of the world was amazing and it set the day off right.

Anywho....for Valentine's Day my coworker's gave me a Valentine's Day card. One of my coworker's is named Clementine but we all call her Clem so today she gave me a box of chocolate's. You might also like to know that one of the older gentleman at my work he also gave me a box of chocolate's. My coworker's and I often go up and talk to him and we make sure we give him a hug which he enjoys. He is the nicest guy in the world and we enjoy being friends with him. He is something of a flirt with us but we don't mind he is totally sweet. Yes, I also gave my coworker's a little something for Valentine's Day and a card for each of them which they liked.

In other news.....

I did give my mother a few things for the occasion which included two red roses, a card with some scratch off's in it as well as a Pomegrante scented candle as a gift which she liked.

A few minutes later in the evening I treated my folks and my nieces to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse which was busy for Valentine's Day. There were a lot of people there. For my meal I had a dish called "The Renegade" which was a cut of juicy Sirloin with a side of mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad on the side. I can tell you that we all enjoyed our dinner and we toasted our drinking glasses for the occasion as well.

I also wanted to tell you that I received a wonderful gift in the mail from my dear friend Diane who lives in Las Vegas. She sent me some chocolates and some bags of popcorn covered in white chocolate which was quite nice of her for Valentine's Day. Thank you Diane. She also sent me a card with a note written in it which really made me smile.

I also want to thank you all for the wonderful comments and thoughts you sent my way. I do have to say that I am just going to remain friends with my male coworker because I really enjoy being friends with him. I don't think that he and I will ever be anything more but that's okay. He and I will simply remain friends and play with eachother at work which I prefer.

Anywho.......how was your day ? I do hope you all had a very special and memorable Valentine's Day I sure did. Take care everyone and once again "Happy Valentine's Day" everyone !!!!!!

Good-night

Don't Forget Tomorrow is "Valentine's Day" !!!!!!

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!! Did you miss me ??? I missed you all. I am back !!!!! I am also feeling much much much better and in better spirits today.

Well first things first....it has been a freeeezing day in Georgia. When will Summer get here ?? Will it ever ?? I am so longing for the warm weather.

Anywho....you might want to know that yesterday I watched a movie on television last night called "The Boxer" with the very handsome and talented actor Daniel-Day Lewis. I have to tell you that I really liked the movie. Daniel-Day Lewis totally made the movie worth watching. I highly recommend the movie.

In other news you will be happy to know that I did a huge cleaning in my room and it now looks fabulous. I have to admit that my room did need a bit of work and it took me some time but my room is now worthy of a makeover award. I have to tell you my dear world that I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of the Glade Scented Oil Candles with the French Vanilla aroma. The french vanilla scented oil candles smell w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l.

On a more personal note....I've been playing with my coworker E***O who is a young guy about the same age as myself. He recently started working with us a little while ago. I have been playing with him at work in a flirtacious way and he plays with me too. I really like to play with him. A few weeks ago he asked one of my female coworker's if I had a boyfriend so she told him to ask me. Well today my other female coworker's that I hang out with at work and I got to talking about guys, dating and such and he said he was curious about whether or not I had a boyfriend but he didn't come out and ask me however. As my female coworker's and I were talking I did mention that I didn't have a boyfriend in front of him. It isn't clear to me whether he is interested in me or not I'm not quite sure. I have to admit that I would like to go out with him perhaps once or twice but I don't know what he would say about that. I'm NOT even certain he would ever ask me out I just don't know. I have NOT gotten around him to telling him that I like him and I don't know if I should. I just wanted to share that with you my dear world to get some thoughts on this. What do you think about this my dear world ??

Lastly how have you all been doing ?? How has things been for all of you in your neck of the woods ? I hope that you all have been enjoying your week. I thought I would come by and share a few thoughts with you.

I have one last note for you :

Tomorrow is VALENTINE'S DAY !!!!!!!! Have a great and memorable day.

.....Being That Its Almost Valentines Day

Hello dear world

Good evening. As the title of my entry reads...Being That Its Almost Valentines Day....Well I have a few thoughts of mine to share.

I have to begin by saying that tonight I need a place to write some random stuff, channel some thoughts, moan, vent, etc. etc. At the moment I am feeling a little blue about the fact that it is almost Valentines Day.

My feelings began as I was watching the Lifetime Channel this evening. I was watching a few movies about love which included a movie called "Making Mr. Right" with Dean Cain. The movie was a love story of course. I have been watching movies about people finding one another, people falling in love and the weird thing is watching the Lifetime movie made me feel sad. As some of you might not know I am SINGLE and I have been for quite a while.

The reason I am telling you this is that its close to being Valentines Day which is been called "The Most Romantic Day" on earth. I don't mean to sound depressing for those who are in love or for those who are falling in love but for those of us who aren't.....well its just plain hard. I don't know maybe its just one of those days or maybe its just watching one too many love stories on television but I'm just feeling kind of.....blah

My dear world I don't need a reply to this entry I just wanted to share some thoughts I had. I do want to thank you my dear world and I am still flattered that people actually invest time from your lives to spend a few minutes here at my place that I have chosen to call "Dear Diary" each day.

Good night dear world

Its Thursday

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? I hope you are all doing well. First things first I just back from my Citizens Police Academy Training Class which was quite a long one tonight. My class and I got two units today one on : Special Operations and the other being on the : Gang Task Force. Our next class will be covering : Narcotics and the K-9 Unit. I have to tell you my dear world that I am learning a lot and I feel that I am quite glad that I am taking this class. Our class is every Thursday just in case you wanted to know.

Anywho....you might also want to know that it was another day at work for me and I do have some late breaking news. Remember a while back I told you about a lady that was sent down to our department to work with my coworkers and I named P******A. Well you might want to know that the lady is no longer with us anymore since a few days ago. Why isn't she with us ?? Well she was causing problems and drama with my coworkers and I as well as my supervisor. She had a real bad attitude and she went off on the supervisor so the main director moved her out of our department and she was placed somewhere else. She will NOT be returning to our department. We are supposed to be getting a new lady to work with us starting next week however. I don't know the lady so I will have to tell you about her when I meet her. I am happy to report that there is NO more drama in our department at work my dear world.

So my dear world how was your day ? I have to say that I hope your day was a nice one. That's all the news I have for you. I will talk to you again soon. I do have one final reminder for you : Next week is Valentines Day do you have any plans ??

Take care everyone and good-night !!

Super Tuesday

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone its that time of again for me to pop in and say hello.

Well it is me again and of course it was another day at work for me but the weather in my neck of the woods was rather nice. It did rain for a few seconds and then it was gone.

I do have some rather sad news to report. The remains of John Bryant were found. He and his wife Irene had both went missing. N.C. Sheriff David Mahoney confirmed that the remains were those of John Bryant. Mahoney said that investigators had enough evidence to charge Gary Michael Hilton with the murder of Bryant and his wife Irene who were last seen alive October 20th in the Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina.

I have to say that I am glad that John's body was found because now his loved ones and friends can give him a proper burial. His family and friends no longer have to worry about what may or may not have happened to him. Its truly a shame what Gary Michael Hilton did. Gary hurt so many people.

Anywho....

Today after I got off work my folks and I went to our polling place which is located at a school nearby our house. My folks and I and my now "8" year old niece Megan went to our polling place and YES we voted in the Georgia Primary and YES I VOTED for Barack Obama for President of the United States. On the ballot they also wanted to ask if I was going to vote on a 1% sales tax for which I voted NO. I have to say that I got to thinking my dear world why is it that when I finish voting do we in Georgia get a sticker ? I think that it would be better to get a "I AM A GEORGIA VOTER" button instead of some sticker don't you think ?? I hate that Georgia has a sticker and not a button... I'm just throwing my thoughts out to you. What do you think ???

Of course you might also want to know that after we voted my folks and I and my other niece went to pick up my other niece from her bus stop and we headed out to dinner. My family and I went for dinner at our favorite place "La Parrilla" Mexican Restaurant where I had (2) chicken quesadilla's yes (2) with a side of avocado slices.

Immediately after dinner we then stopped off at CVS where I got 2 Valentines Day cards and a book by the writer named Carly Phillips. By the way are you ready for Valentines Day ?? You might also want to know that during my lunch hour with (2) female coworkers of mine we went to a thrift store where I picked up a book titled "I Love You, Ronnie - The Letters Of Ronald Reagan to Nancy Reagan" . I think that in reading how Nancy wrote of the letters Ronald wrote her and how she wrote of their marriage they had something special.

Last but not least how was your day my dear world ?? Did you go out and VOTE today in the Primary ??? I hope that you had as wonderful a day as I did even though I did have to work today which was for me quite busy. I think that about covers everything my dear world.

I'll get back with you soon with more news.

Bye !!!!!!!!!!

A Very Nice Teddy Bear Tea Party......

Hello dear world

Good evening to you all. Let me begin by saying that today my family and I celebrated my youngest niece Megan's 8th Birthday with a really wonderful Teddy Bear Tea Party.

Some of her female classmates from her school came to the party and they brought with them a Teddy Bear. Some of her classmates brought with them other stuffed animals that they liked. For the Teddy Bear Tea Party my family and I had decorated the house with everything that had to do with Teddy Bears. We also decorated the house with balloons and much much more.

I began the party as I played the part of Goldilocks in which I had blonde ribbons in my hair with pig tails as I told the story of "Goldilocks And The Three Bears" . I wasn't sure how good I was going to do at the story but I am glad to report that the young ladies at the party really did like how I performed the story. My performance and my telling of the story went off really well and they actually sat and listened to me and they ooohed and awwwwed as I was telling the story. I must say that I was quite proud of myself and I was happy that I participated in my niece's birthday.

After my performance we had a dance hour with the young ladies and my niece and then we had pizza and punch and then we did an arts and crafts session with the young ladies that they really enjoyed. We also had some movies on which included the movie "Over The Hedge" and the movie "Cars". We then had cut the cake and they had ice cream with their cake and then my niece opened her presents and then they were given the opportunity to play in the house and they listened to music and then once again they did a little bit of dancing. After all of that we had them sit with their teddy bears / stuffed animal while they had tea which was ice cold apple juice instead of tea which the young ladies really enjoyed.

All in all I must say that my niece's 8th Birthday was really nice and my niece had a great time. I'm sure that her next birthday will be just as nice as this one was.

So my dear world how was your day ? I do hope that you all had a really nice Saturday and I hope you were able to have some fun during your day. I just wanted to come by and share a really nice day with you.

That's about all for my news. I'll talk to you again soon. As a teddy bear might say:

"I will meet you later at the Honey Pot"
