A Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful Friday.....

Hello everyone

Good evening all !!!!!!! Here I am again. It was another day at work for me but it was a very nice day at work. I have been wearing my hair down all this week since I have straightened it and I have enjoyed the compliments on how pretty my hair is from the people at my work. Compliments are always always always nice. Its nice to hear someone say that "you look nice" or "I like your hair" or "wow !! your hair looks wonderful".

Anywho...today while on my lunch break I bought some books including one by Linda Lael Miller. I bought the following books :

Honor Thyself by Danielle Steel
Montana Creeds: Logan by Linda Lael Miller
Fireside by Susan Wiggs
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Rumor Has It by Tami Hoag

In other news earlier just me and my folks went out for dinner at my favorite restaurant Longhorn Steakhouse. I ended up getting the parmesan crusted sirloin which was pretty good. I also had a Caesar salad which I always like. I can tell you that our dinner was pretty good. I always enjoy going to Longhorn Steakhouse.

After dinner we went to Best Buy where I bought my mom the Mary Mary CD. I also purchased the new Beyonce CD for myself as well as the new Ludacris CD for myself as well. I also bought my youngest niece a Nintendo DS game since her 9th birthday is on February 2, 2009 as well as my mom's birthday.

You might want to know that I started reading the book "Rumor Has It". The story revolves around a guy named Nick Leone who is new to a small town in Virginia. The women in the town believe that he is either a CIA agent, a male model, a fugitive or maybe all three. The women get a lady they know named Katie Quaid to find out all about him. So far I like the book. As you might already know I am a huge fan of reading books.

I am going to ask you a few questions that I would like you to answer and do share your answers with your comments or thoughts. Thank you.

A Nice Sunday....

Hello everyone

Good evening all !!!!! Here I am again. It was a pretty nice Sunday. Early this morning I finished reading the book "Born In Shame" by the writer Nora Roberts which was a really good book. It was a story about a woman named Shannon Bodine who goes to Ireland to find some background of the roots of her family. It was the first time Shannon had gone to Ireland. While in Ireland she met a man named Murphy Muldoon and they began to like eachother. I don't want to ruin the story by giving out the information I do have to say that it was a really good book and it was well worth reading it. Here is her link -----> http://www.noraroberts.com/

In other news my mother rented the movie "Righteous Kill" with the actor Al Pacino and I can tell you that it was a very interesting movie from start to finish. The ending was unexpected and I do have to say that I really found that Righteous Kill was a movie that deserved to be watched. I highly highly highly recommend the movie. There was a movie on television called "Death Sentence" with Kevin Bacon which turned out to be pretty good as well. I think that Kevin did a wonderful job in the movie and I hope that he gets an academy award for the movie. My folks also liked the movie and so I do recommend this movie as well.

You might want to know that I did go to the mall today with my folks and my niece's which was fun. I did NOT buy anything but I did do some window shopping which was nice. Its always fun to go walk around the mall and look at the different stores and things. We also took a ride to Pizza Hut for lunch and we had one large pepperoni pizza which was quite good for a meal. The pizza went pretty fast between the five of us. After lunch we took a ride to Walmart however I didn't buy anything there either. I liked just going and looking around and hanging out. It was nice to go out today instead of sitting around the house this weekend.

Anywho...tomorrow I have to head back to work after a nice weekend off. Its always nice to have the weekend off from work. Its supposed to be pretty busy at my work tomorrow so I guess I will be pretty busy tomorrow. What will you be doing tomorrow my dear world ??? I do want to know how was your weekend ?? I do hope that all is well in your neck of the woods. I'll talk to you again later.

Good-night

A Really Fun Monday....

Hello everyone

Good evening all !!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today I was off of work today. Today was also the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. As you know Barack Obama will soon become President of the United States of America. Do you know anyone who is going to the Inaguration ?

In other news I finished reading "Change of Heart" by Jodi Picoult which was a very good book indeed. I highly recommend this book as a must read. I have to say that I really really liked it. It turns out that the guy in the book Shay Bourne was not a murderer but a very decent guy. In the book he was charged with double homicide which he was innocent of. There was also a young girl in the book who needed a heart transplant and she did get Shay's heart in the end. I'm sorry to have ruined the ending of it but I have to tell you that it was a good book and you should definitely give it a read. I am really glad that I read the book and it was well worth the time. I really did like Shay most of all in the book.

Anywho...earlier in the day my folks and I and my oldest niece went to Kohl's and I got to do some shopping. I ended up purchasing a Seinfeld t-shirt and an Oscar the Grouch t-shirt as well. I also got some Christmas earrings that were on sale for $4.00 a pair. I also got a cute Valentines Day necklace and a princess necklace that I liked very much which was on sale as well.

After Kohl's we took a ride to a beauty supply store called Ulta which was nice. It definitely smelled good in the store and I ended up buying some Hawaiian nut shampoo and some conditioner which my mom and I thought smelled pretty good. My father sprayed on some men's Chrome cologne in the store which did NOT smell all that great.

After Ulta we went to my favorite store Barnes and Noble which is the best bookstore I like. I used a gift card from Barnes and Noble that I received on Christmas as a present and my member's card there. I got a book for my oldest niece and some books for myself. The books I bought are titled :

Born In Ice by Nora Roberts
Dance Upon The Air by Nora Roberts
Me and Mr. Darcy by Alexandra Potter

While I was at Barnes and Noble I ended up getting a Godiva Double Chocolate slice of cheesecake which was really really good. I also got a Mocha Frappucchino which I also liked. My oldest niece had a regular slice of cheesecake that I bought her and I bought my mom a tall dry cappucchino which she liked. It is always fun going to Barnes and Noble.

I must say that I am a fan of the books by Nora Roberts and of the books by Jane Austen or other books like her's. I am starting to read "Me and Mr. Darcy and so far its a pretty good book. I have always liked to read book and I enjoying reading the books I have gotten.

I have to tell you that my favorite show "House" came on tonight and my other show "24" came on with Kiefer Sutherland. My other favorite show "Bones" is coming on Thursday.

So my dear world how was your Monday ?? Did you do any shopping today ? It was a cold day in my neck of the woods is it cold where you are ? I do hope to hear all of your news from your part of the world.

Take care everyone

I'M BACK !!!!!!!!

Hello everyone

Good evening to you all. You all have probably been wondering where I have been. Well I'm back. I have been around working and going here and going there and just being busy these days. Its also been pretty cold in my neck of the woods with a capital Brrr. I guess Winter is officially here.

Anywho....my mom and my oldest niece bought me a t-shirt the other day at Kohl's for me while I was at work. I really like the t-shirt they got me. A few days earlier my mom got me a black Legendary Road Rebels t-shirt that I like as well. Its always nice to get something I like.

You might also want to know that I have been doing a lot of reading lately that has kept me busy as well. I just finished reading the book "The Rustler" by the writer Linda Leal Miller which was quite good. It was about a train robber named Wyatt Yarbro. I'm not going to ruin it by telling you the ending of the story but I can tell you that it was well worth reading. I highly recommend the book to everyone.

I did start another book called "Sunday's At Tiffany's" by the writer James Patterson and I have to say that I did NOT like the book at all. I found that I did NOT understand the story or what it was about. I would NOT recommend this book by James Patterson. I was quite disappointed by the book and about that fact that it left me wondering what it was about. I doubt that I will read anymore of his books in the near future.

I also finished the book "Married In Seattle" by Debbie Macomber. I really like her book and I really like her book. I have to say that it was a quite good and I really liked reading the book. One of her stories in the book is called "First Comes Marriage" which was quite wonderful. I am a fan of Debbie's books and I am glad that I came upon her book.

So my dear world how are things in your part of the world ?? Did anyone miss me while I wasn't around ??? I did miss all of you and I will have to catch up on my journal reading in the next few days. I do hope that you are all enjoying the new year and that you are all doing well.

That's all for now. I'm sorry I haven't been around these days. I shall return tomorrow with more news. Do enjoy your weekend !!!!!!!!!!
