A Fun Day...

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!! I have such news for you are you ready ?? Well earlier today I went to a place called "Hair Cuttery" and I got my hair cut totally short. All of my long hair is gone, gone, gone. I totally love how the hair stylist did my hair I don't miss my long hair at all.

Anywho...later in the day my mom and I and my nieces and my sister went to Belk. Unfortunately we heard that there was a fire at Target which is near Belk. We all had to leave the store because the power went out in Belk and it was connected to the fire at Target.

After we left Belk we took a ride over to Kohl's. Of course we did quite a lot of shopping in Kohl's. I did find a nice brown dress shirt for my niece's Confirmation tomorrow. My mom did find me some nice sweatshirts for Winter when it comes again. I also found me a nice Lime Green Shirt and a cute t-shirt I liked. I also found me some nice bra's in Kohl's. You might want to know that one of the bra's is a very elegant black bra by Vera Wang which I love. I have to admit that I had a fun time shopping today.

So how was your day today my dear world ??? Did you do any shopping today ??? I do hope that you had a really wonderful Saturday. How are things in your neck of the woods ??

Of course I'm sure tomorrow will be fun for all of us. I wish you could all join us. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.

Have a great day tomorrow.

Its Friday !!!!!!!

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? Yes its me again.

Well its me again and its FRIDAY !!!!! Of course it was another day at work for me and the weather was nice today but the pollen had me sneezing quite a bit.

Anywho...I am still reading "Dark Room" which is a pretty interesting book. Here is a little bit of a hint about it....there is a woman in the story named Morgan Winter. When she was a child her parents were brutally murdered in a basement. It came out that the guy who confessed didn't actually do it so the case has been reopened.

You might want to know that during my lunch break with two of my female coworkers that I work with we went out to a little shop we go to. When we drove up I noticed this new place which had just opened and so my coworker's told me to go and see what they had which I did. I went over and I found out that it was a Rib Shack. I was able to sample a piece of a rather tasty Rib Tip which turned out to be pretty good. I ended up buying a Rib Tip Snack with some fries which I have to tell you was delicious the sauce on the rib tips was especially mouth watering and the sauce was also on the bottom of the plate which ended up soaking the fries and made them that much tastier. My coworker's also enjoyed the rib tips as well. I will definitely go back there.

Of course I did go inside of the store after getting my meal on my lunch break and I got another book by Janet Evanovich titled "Thanksgiving" . I have to admit that I have quite a lot of her books.

After work my older sister and I and my nieces went to Target to look around and what did I get ??? Two more books of course which I haven't read yet. I got the book "Reading Lolita In Tehran" by Azar Nafisi and the book "The Appeal" by John Grisham. Sooner or later I will get around to reading all of the books I have.

On a final noteon Sunday my family and I will be having a little celebration at the house for my niece Megan's Confirmation. My mom will be making a pot of Gumbo which she is quite good at it for the celebration. The two coworker's that I hang with will be coming over to the house Sunday since I invited them. I hope that they will have a rather nice time.

Well my dear world how was your day ?? Are you ready for the weekend ??? That's about all for now. I'll get back to you again soon with more news. Do take care everyone.

Good-night !!!!

Notes For Thursday....

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? I hope you are all well. First I have to report that the weather in my neck of the woods was quite warm and yes it is Springtime in Georgia and the pollen is here.

Anywho....I have to tell you that "Jewels Of The Sun" by Nora Roberts was a very good book. I have to break my rule and tell you about it. At the end Jude Murray and Aidan Gallagher ended up together. Aidan proposed to Jude and she said yes to marrying him. She also decided to stay in Ireland with Aidan. I really did like the book and I must say that Nora is a very talented writer. I highly recommend it for reading.

In other news...earlier today on my lunch break with my coworkers I went to the store and I found a book that looked rather interesting. The name of the book is "DARK ROOM" by the writer Andrea Kane. I just started reading and so far it has turned out to be worth reading.

On a different note earlier tonight my mom and I went to our class which was held at a school called Jonesboro High School which was a really great class. Our class covered the topic of "Active Shooter" Once the school was closed for the evening we got to participate in a demonstration of exactly how police officers, the school and staff would handle what happens if an intruder gets into a school. My classmates and I at different times got to go around and act like police officers with real guns and search for an intruder in the school. I got to be a police officer with some of my classmates while my other classmates got to be hostages in one of the classrooms. I was a little nervous but I actually got into the situation. Unfortunately I didn't get to shoot the gun that I had which was loaded with a liquid aerosol instead of live ammunition. Later on I got to be a hostage with my mom in one of the classrooms and it was rather intense but fun at the same time. The "Active Shooter" class was a learning experience.

By the way on the 3rd of April I will be graduating from my class and there will be a ceremony and a cookout afterward which I am sure will be fun. I have learned a great deal in my class and it has really been interesting to be in the class. We will each be getting a call and we will get a chance to ride along with police officers while they are working which I am excited about.

That's all of my news. How was your day my dear world ?? I do hope that you all got to enjoy your Thursday. By the way is it Springtime in your neck of the woods ? I just wanted to come by and share my day with you.

That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again soon. Its pretty late here in Georgia so I will say good-night and take care.

Some News

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you my dear world ?? I am happy to report that I am feeling much better today. You might want to know that it was a rather cold morning in my neck of the woods but by the afternoon it got better and a little bit warmer.

Of course it was another busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy day at work for me. Its been a pretty busy start of the week for my coworkers and I.

Anywho...you will be happy to know that I finished reading "The Last Juror" today. I'm sure you thought that I was never going to finish it but I did. The book "The Last Juror" I hate to say ended rather sadly.  The next book I am going to read is by one of my favorite writers named Nora Roberts. I am going to read "Jewels Of The Sun" which is a book that I wanted to read a while back but I never got around to reading it. I'm sure it will be good since Nora Roberts is a great writer.

How was your day my dear world ?? Are you reading any good books lately ?? I did order a book a couple of weeks ago and one of my coworkers ordered it for me and it will be in tomorrow. The name of the book is called "The Baked Bean Supper Murders" which I have NEVER read before either. The book is by a writer named Virginia Rich.

I guess that's about it for now. I'll talk to you again soon. Have a good rest of the week dear world.

A Few Thoughts....

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? I'm doing so so today. It was the beginning of another week at work for me and it was a busy busy busy busy busy busy day.

You might want to know that I'm almost finished reading "The Last Juror" by John Grisham. The book is pretty interesting and I can't wait to see how it will end.

Anywho...its supposed to get down to freezing in my neck of the woods tonight. I am so longing for Summertime most definitely. It seems like Winter will never leave.

In other news....The war in Iraq continues and I hear on the radio that things still aren't going all that well there. I do hope that the troops will be able to come home sometime soon. The troops may NOT know me but I would like them to know that I am thinking about and that they are NOT forgotten.

How are things with you my dear world ?? I hope that you had a nice Monday. That's about it for now. I just wanted to pop in and share a few thoughts with you.

Take care dear world

Happy Easter

Hello dear world

Happy Easter !!! How are you all this morning ?? I hope that you are all having a wonderful Easter holiday.

My family, and I and my niece's began our morning as we got up to go to Church for the 6:30a.m. Sunrise Service at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. The service was supposed to be held outside in the garden but instead it was held in the hall which quite a few people were disappointed about because many had brought sleeping bags and blankets for the Service. The service in the hall was nice but we would have liked it to have been out in the garden.

Anywho...after Church my family and I went to IHOP for breakfast. I had the Supreme Ham and Cheese Omelette with a side of hashbrowns with onions and a large hot chocolate which was good. We all enjoyed our meals at IHOP which is known as the International House of Pancakes which is located in our neighborhood.

It is still pretty early here in my neck of the woods. I just wanted to come by and share my morning with you. How has your morning been my dear world ?? I do want to wish you a very special Happy Easter to all of you.

By the way....you might want to know that I am still reading John Grisham's "The Last Juror" . I am getting into the book and it is quite interesting. I will have to tell you about the other books I bought once I start reading them.

Happy Easter dear world !!!!!!!

Trip To Kroger....

Hello dear world

First let me say "Happy Easter" to all of you. How is everyone ?? I hope that all of you and your loved ones are doing well.

Anywho...a few hours ago my mom and I and my nieces had to take a ride over to KROGER which is the grocery store we often visit to get this or that. Tonight we were only supposed to get Vinegar to finish getting the dye together so my nieces could dye the eggs for Easter but we got so much more. At Kroger we got some macaroni-n-cheese, some jello, some grape soda, some red beans my mom wanted, we also picked up some Easter candy which included some chocolate Easter bunnies, some breakfast biscuits, popsicle's, paper towel's, some laundry detergent, some mayonnaise, some lunch meat for my niece's and I picked up (2) new books and yes we got some vinegar. We also got some burrito's for us to eat for dinner. One of my new books that I picked up is titled "THE DEAD ROOM" by the writer Heather Graham and the other book I got is titled "OBSESSION" by the writer Jonathan Kellerman. I paid for the groceries which came to $111.80 yes we definitely got more than just Vinegar tonight. I don't know why but I am getting into reading mysteries which I never did as much of before.

So my dear world how was your day today ? Did you do any last minute shopping ? I sure did. I just wanted to come by and share my night with you. By the way I also watched one of my favorite show's called "Law And Order" which is a must see show.

That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again soon. Once again I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Easter.

Take care everyone

A Wonderful And Thrilling Day

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!! How is everyone ???? I just had to come and talk to you this evening because I have so so so so so so much to tell you.

Anywho.......first I wanted to report that today was the 1st day of Spring although this morning it didn't feel like it. It felt like Wintertime because it was quite cold and windy this morning. By the afternoon it started warming up little by little.

Of course it was another day at the courthouse where I work. I do have to tell you that a little before 3:00 in the afternoon I met a really nice looking single police officer on the elevator and his name was M*******. While we were on the elevator alone we got to talking for a little while and he told me that he had been in court all morning and he still had to go to work. I did enjoy talking to him and he enjoyed talking to me as well. He smiled at me quite a bit and we had a really nice conversation. After he had gotten off the elevator I was left wishing that I had gotten his phone number.

In other news you might want to know that finished reading "Isabel's Bed""Lost & Found" and the other book I had bought titled "Laced" by Carol Higgins Clark. All of the books were pretty good and I highly recommend them. I also finished reading "Naughty Neighbor" by Janet Evanovich and I have to say that it too was a great book and it was certainly funny. I did buy the book "The Last Juror" by John Grisham and I can't wait to start reading it.

On a totally different note earlier this evening my mom and I went to our Citizens Police Academy class which was held at the Police Academy tonight instead of at the Police Headquarters were our usual classes are held. We did arrive home a few minutes ago. You might want to know that our class covered the Use of Force in which we got to shoot on the FATS Machine which is known as the Firearms Training Simulator which was a real Glock which was used as part of the Simulator. I have to say that the Simulator was quite a thrill. When I shot I ended up shooting an unarmed man instead of the suspect. I would have liked to have done the Training Simulator a second time but I didn't get the chance. My mom had fun too and she did shoot the suspect on the simulator. Everyone in the class got different events on the simulator in which we had to determine whether to shoot or NOT to shoot which is quite a thing to decide. Tonight was my very first time doing a Firearms Training Simulator and I have to say that it was memorable and worth learning. I am glad I got the chance to do the Simulator.

On the way home she and I did stop off at Sonic's where we got some really delicious steaming hot Onion Rings and some Mozzarella Sticks which were quite good. I also got some Cinna Sticks which I haven't eaten yet.

So my dear world how was your day ?? Do you have any news for me ?? I do hope that you had a very wonderful Thursday I sure did. I had to come by and share my day with you. That's all for now. I'll be back later to talk to you all again soon.

Good-night dear world

Happy St. Patrick's Day !!!

Hello dear world

Happy St. Patrick's Day !!!!!! Did you all wear your greenery today ?? I did by wearing a green Killian's Irish Red t-shirt with the words "Luck Of The Irish" on it and a green bracelet with the words "Irish For A Day".

Anywho....I'm still in the middle of reading the book "Isabel's Bed" however I did buy (2) new books today. In honor of St. Patrick's Day I bought a book titled "Laced" by the writer Carol Higgins Clark. Apparently from reading a description of it, it is about a haunted Irish castle, international jewel thieves and a hotel fire but I have NOT read it yet. I will have to let you know more about it once I get to it. Here is her link ---> http://www.carolhigginsclark.com/

I also bought the book "Naughty Neighbor" by my favorite writer Janet Evanovich. As you might not know I have read quite a lot of her books and I saw it and I had to buy it. Here is her link ----> http://www.evanovich.com/ .

Of course it was the beginning to a whole new week for me at work and it was a busy busy busy busy going going going going going going going day. So my dear world how was your day today ?? Did you get to celebrate St. Patrick's Day ?? I do hope that your day was a nice one.

That's about it for now. I just wanted to come by and share a few things with you. I'll check back in with you all later.

Bye !!

A Movie Recommendation

Hello dear world

Good evening once again. I wanted to come by and share a little something with you. A few minutes ago my family and I watched the movie "Gone Baby Gone" with Casey Affleck and Morgan Freeman and I have to say that the movie was quite good. I thought that when it got to the middle part it was going to be sad but it turned out NOT to be sad. I highly recommend this movie for how it turned out and for the best part of all.....the actor Casey Affleck who is definitely worth watching.

Here is the link to the movie "Gone Baby Gone" ----> http://video.movies.go.com/gonebabygone/ . My dear world you have to see this movie. I definitely liked it and I say that it certainly is worth watching more than once.

I just thought I would share that with you. I hope you get a chance to see it you will definitely like it. I think that the movie definitely deserves to be called the best movie I have seen so far this year.

That's all for now. I'll talk to you again later.

A BEAUTIFUL DAY

Hello dear world

Good afternoon !!! You will be happy to know that the dark stormy weather has passed and it is a beautiful day today. There is nothing but blue skies in my neck of the woods today. Yesterday it looked like a Hurricane outside and the rain came down like bullets.

Anywho....you might also want to know that I started reading another book titled "Isabel's Bed" by the writer Elinor Lipman. As you know I recently finished her other book "The Inn At Lake Devine" which was a really good book. I am enjoying reading "Isabel's Bed" which begins with a recently jilted woman named Harriet Mahoney who flees Manhattan for a room atop a Cape Cod dune where she ends up sharing a home with a woman named Isabel Krug. Harriet answers an ad in the New York Review of Books placed by the femme fatale Isabel who wants to tell her story of her scandalous tabloid past. Isabel revamps and inspires Harriet as they gear up to tell all.

So far my dear world I am really enjoying the book. I have to say that it is definitely a book worth reading ----> this is my recommendation to you. Have you read any good books lately ???

I do have to say that I am enjoying the movies I rented from Blockbuster. I have NOT seen them all yet but I will. How are things in your part of the woods my dear world ?? I do want you all to know that my family and I are doing well and we are chugging along. I would like to wish you and your loved ones a very wonderful and fun St. Patrick's Day. Don't forget to wear your green tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone !!!!!!!!!!!

About Last Night...

Hello dear world

Good morning how is everyone ? As you might not know there was a tornado that ripped through Downtown Atlanta rest assured that I am fine. I don't live near Downtown I live in the area of Clayton County, Georgia. We did get quite a bit of rain in our area but we are not in Downtown. I hope that the people in Downtown Atlanta are alright but rest assured I and my family are all doing fine. Click on this link to see my neighborhood and in the middle you will see at the top a picture of my work building its the Courthouse where I work -----> http://www.co.clayton.ga.us/

Anywho....I have some news for you. Yesterday I finished my book "Lost & Found" and I have to say that it was a very good boook. In the book it turns out that the dog's name is not Lloyd but Cooper. It was fun reading about the book in the book including Rocky and Cooper, a young lady named Melissa and a woman named Tess. I highly recommend the book. Jacqueline Sheehan is a very talented and creative writer.

In other news....last night my folks and I and my youngest niece Megan went out to dinner last night. My oldest niece was at a school thing. You might want to know that the place we went to was called "LA HACIENDA" which is a good Mexican restaurant. Our usual place "La Parrilla" was quite busy so we went to LA HACIENDA instead. Over at the restaurant I tried a dish called Mole Mexicano which was a dish of shredded chicken in a brown chocolate sauce. I also had some Mexican rice and beans. I hate to say it but the Mole was NOT good. I didn't like the taste of it so I shared some of my mom's food with her which was quite good.

After dinner my folks and I and Megan went to rent some movies over at Blockbuster. We rented some movies called : Michael Clayton, Becoming Jane, Feast Of Love, The Invisible, War, We Own The Night, Gone Baby Gone, No Country For Old Men and Bee Movie for my niece Megan.

After we got home we watched the movie "No Country For Old Men" with Tommy Lee Jones which was a very interesting movie. I don't know why they called it "No Country For Old Men" but I do have to say that it was worth watching.  It wasn't until later in the evening that the sky opened up and the rain came running down in buckets.

I heard about the roof being torn off by the tornado on the news this morning and I saw the damage. It looked pretty bad but things in my neighborhood are fine. I did watch "Feast Of Love" this morning. Morgan Freeman was in it and I have to say that the movie was NOT good. It was a very sad and tragic movie. I will NOT recommend this movie as worth watching. It is quite windy today but so far NO rain.

How are things in your neck of the woods ? I do hope that you are enjoying your weekend. I am enjoying mine and hopefully the bad weather in Downtown Atlanta has passed. How is the weather where you are ? Are you getting any stormy weather ? Do keep me posted.

That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again soon.

Take care everyone

Some News

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!!! First things first it was such a B E A U TIFUL day in Atlanta, Georgia and it was a nice 78 degrees which made the day that much more wonderful.

Anywho.....today I went to work and I did go out with one of my female coworker's and we stopped off at Subway and got us some Tuna Subs. My dear world Subway has the best Tuna Subs in the world. The weather was quite nice I didn't need my jacket or a sweatshirt and that was a real treat.

I am still reading my book "Lost & Found" its a pretty good book and I have to say that I recommend it. You might also want to know that my mom and I went to class this evening and it was a blast. Today we the E O D class and our class went out back of the Police Headquarters to see the Bomb Squad show us how they blow up explosives in a suitcase which was something. They even had the Andros which is a robot they use to shoot at certain explosives. One of the bomb squad guys went further back so he could throw what is known as a "Flash Bang" which is plain gunpowder that makes a flash and a loud noise to throw off criminals when the bomb squad is called to a scene in which they are needed. I can tell you my dear world that the Flash Bang is quite loud and the flash that comes after its thrown is quite bright. The bomb squad did blow up two suitcases filled with stuff and one of the things that was blown up was a race car that was attached to a base and I went and picked it up and took it home with me. My mom told me to go and get it so I could carry it home for my dad to see. One of the guys also brought out one of the K-9 Dogs in order to sniff out some explosives in a case and it was something to see as well. We also got to see inside of the van that the Bomb Squad uses and it was huge.

My dear world class was quite fun and it was something to see tonight. Next week we will be going to the Police Academy instead of to the Headquarters. I am definitely having fun with the class and it is fun going with my mom because we are learning a lot and we are getting to see things we never saw before.

How was your day my dear world ? Did you have some really nice weather where you are ? I just thought I would come and share my day with you. That's about it for now. Of course tomorrow is another day at work for me so I will be busy at my job. I do hope that you will all enjoy the upcoming weekend.

Take care my dear world

The book I found today is called "Lost & Found" by the writer Jacqueline Sheehan. My dear world if you love dogs you will want to read this book. You will want to visit this site to see the cover of the book which is a picture of a Labrador Retriever on the front of the book. Notes For Tuesday...

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!! Well it was another day at work for me today. I do have to say that it was a little bit cool today but it wasn't too bad. All I needed was a little sweatshirt and then I got into work and it was off as I got busy working.

Anywho....I did go out with two of my female coworker's today during our lunch break which is now from 12:00 to 1:00 which our supervisor changed for us since we weren't able to get some of our work done since a lot of people were out of their office's at lunch and we weren't able to get some of our work done. Our new lunch hour is much better and we can come back and get our work done.

You might want to know that my coworker's and I did go out today during our lunch hour and we went to a little thrift store where I found a book that I wanted to read. The title of the book I am now reading is called "The Inn At Lake Devine" by the writer Elinor Lipman if you would like to check her out here is her link -------> http://www.elinorlipman.com/ . I also got the book "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath which I will read after The Inn At Lake Devine. As you can tell I have really gotten into reading a lot of books lately but I really enjoy reading new books and getting into new stories along the way. I also picked up the movie "Dead Poets Society" with Robin Williams while I was out.

How was your day my dear world ?? Did you have to go to work today ?? I hope that you had a nice day as I did. By the way did you do any shopping today ? I just thought I would ask.

Hello dear world

How is everyone ?? Today started another week at work for me and today also was the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. Did everyone set their clocks ??

Anywho......I have to tell you all that the book "The Pact" I already finished reading it and I highly recommend it. I don't want to tell the book because what would be the point of reading it right ??? Well I can tell you that the book was a love story but it was somewhat tragic that's all I will say. I do have to recommend it for those who have teenagers and those who enjoy a good story. You might want to know that the book was written by the writer Jodi Picoult. I do want to say that I am glad how the book ended and I think that anyone who likes to read as I do will enjoy it.

In other news I am quite happy to report that the weather in Georgia today was simply "AMAZING" it was like a perfect Summer day. It was sure hard being indoors on such a nice day being at work. It was as I would call it a NO jacket, NO sweatshirt kind of day and I love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love loved it !!!!!!!!!! Hello dear world

Anywho....you might want to know that a few days ago my mother taped the movie "Crossing Delancey" since its our favorite movie for my mom and I. Yes I can say that I highly recommend the movie as a classic and its worth watching. Last night my mom and I watched it and yes we love love love love love love love love it.

On Friday night we watched another movie called "Jersey Girl" with Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler which is a really great family fun movie. Its both funny and touching and its worth watching to see Ben Affleck in the movie. Liv Tyler also makes the movie fun to watch. Here is the link for you -----> http://www.jerseygirl-movie.com/

You might also want to know that I started reading a book called "THE PACT" written by the writer Jodi Picoult and I have to say that I got into the minute I started reading it. Its a bit sad but its totally worth reading. I will have to let you know how it goes after I read more of it.

On a final note you might want to know that the weather in Atlanta, Georgia is quite nice today and there's plenty of blue skies to enjoy. So how are things in your neck of the woods my dear world ? Its Friday !!!!!!

Hello dear world

How is everyone ? On my way to work this morning it rained buckets and it came down with a vengeance but I made it to work in one piece umbrella and all.

Anywho.....you will be happy to know that I stayed busy at work all day lonnnnnnnnng. I worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and I joked around with some of the people at my work. I like making people laugh and the people I joke with seem to like it. So yes I contributed a great deal to the Gross National Product.

Of course this weekend NASCAR has arrived. All three national series are at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Cars have pulled in their campers, trailers and what not. I won't be anywhere in that area because the traffic is crazy. I'll watch the races on television at home. Of course I am still a Jeff Gordon fan my dear world.

You might want to know that next week my supervisor will be on vacation so he is leaving my coworkers and I to fend for ourselves at work. He told us to behave while he is away and since he's a good guy we will behave and hold down the fort for him while he's gone. My supervisor doesn't mind getting his nails dirty helping out with work which is pretty decent of him. I can tell you he is quite a character and he does keep us laughing. He hasn't had to get on us about anything and he hasn't had to write any of us up for anything. He is a pretty great supervisor and we like him so everything is good. Its nice having a work place with absolutely NO drama.

My family is doing well we are still chugging along. I'm doing well of course. That's about it for my news. How are things in your neck of the woods my dear world ???? By the way don't forget about daylight savings time . Check your clocks make sure you remember to make sure they are correct.

Take care everyone and have a great weekend !!!!!!

A Really Nice Warm Day And Some News

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ??? I know that I haven't come by to say hello but I have been around. Let me start by saying that today it was a really nice warm day in Atlanta, Georgia and it was in the 80's in my neck of the woods and I enjoyed it. It was also another day at work for me and I stayed busy all day long.

So did everyone do their homework assignment ?? Our dear Phil pointed out that I had NOT done mine thank you very much Phil well you will be happy to know that I did do the homework assignment so rest assured dear Phil. I will give you my answers later in this entry.

Anywho......a little while ago my mom and I got back from our Citizens Police Academy Class over at the Police Headquarters. Our class today was about S.W.A.T. . For those of you who might not know S.W.A.T. is known as Special Weapons And Tactics. Our teacher was a guy that is a Lt. in the S.W.A.T. named Lt. S***H. I can tell you my dear world that Lt. S***H knew his stuff and he was a very nice looking guy. I can tell you that he is a wonderful teacher. Oh, you might want to know that our class will be graduating in April which will be exciting. In class we got to learn all about the equipment used by the S.W.A.T. such as the Night Goggles, the weapons they use, the SHIELD they carry and the vests which Lt. S***H had brought in for us to learn about. He also brought in some of the bullets they use in the S.W.A.T. I can tell you that the vests they wear and the SHIELD was H-E-A-V-Y . My mom and I got to step outside and experience the night goggles for ourselves which was something. I learned a lot tonight about S.W.A.T. Next week our class will be an E.O.D. which we get to go outside and do some activities which I think will be fun.

...And now for the homework assignment which I completed. Yes Phil I did the homework too so I hope you all enjoy my completed assignment.

5.) If you could bring three characters to life from a book you have read for ( tea, lunch or out to dinner ) who would they be and why ?

Answer : I would definitely have to have Jay Gatsby because he seemed to be a person I would like to have a conversation with him. The next person I would have to invite would be Vianne Rocher from Chocolat because I would like to talk to her about her chocolate shop because I would like to ask her what it was like to open up a chocolate shop. I would also like to have Nick Carraway as well from "The Great Gatsby". I would also like to have Stephanie Plum who is a bounty hunter in Janet Evanovich's books. I think it would be fun to have Stephanie as well as Vianne.
