An Outing

Hello my dear world

How are you today ? You probably are wondering where have I been ??? Well I have been around. Some things have been going on at work which was getting me down but I am definitely feeling better. Anywho as you may already know pollen is still littering the streets, on trees, on cars and on houses everywhere but I am trying to just live with it.

In other news my family went out early this morning. Our day started with a trip to Truett's Grill once again for breakfast. Someone recently had corrected me when I said that Truett's Grill was a 40's style restaurant. Well let me say that the person was right. Truett's Grill is actually a 50's style diner with a full sized "retired" San Francisco cable car as well as a Model A car there and a restored 1927 Indian Scout Motorcycle added to the restaurant's greatness. Truett's Grill also has some pretty good food for which I can speak with experience since I have been there more than once. While we were there one of the waitress's accidentally spilled tea on my oldest niece's shirt which upset her greatly. She doesn't like anything spilled on her clothes. Because of the incident we took a ride over to Target where she got a new shirt and a new CD I bought for her by the group "Pretty Ricky". I also got a CD by one of American Idol's singers named Katharine McPhee here is a link for her -----> www.katharinemcphee.com/ . She recently came out with a CD which I like. One of my favorite songs on her CD is a song called "Over It" which is a great song.

After Target we all went to get Pedicures and my (2) nieces got manicures at a place called Top Nails, Inc. I also got a pedicure there which was nice. After the lady did my toes she polished my toes with a rich blood color which I picked. She also put a flowery design on them which I liked. I paid for everybody to get what they wanted. My folks had fun getting pedicures and my nieces enjoyed getting manicures. My dad even got a manicure which was new for him. It was my first time however going to a nail salon to get a pedicure which was fun. I forgot to mention that while I was having my feet done I got my pedicure sitting in a chair with one of those very wonderful vibrating machines and let me tell you I enjoyed every single minute of it.

After our trip to the nail salon we walked over to Kroger to pick up some snacks and some food for dinner. All in all our day was quite fun. Pretty soon my family and I will be on vacation in Florida starting on the 6th of April and let me tell you I can't wait.

So my dear world how was your day ? Did you get out in your neck of the woods ? I hope you had as wonderful a day as I did. I also hope you are all doing well. I will let you know you know how my vacation goes when I get back. I will be keeping a record of it in a handwritten journal so you will be able to be included on my entire trip from start to finish. I will include plenty details so you will know what we did there.

In some other news I had to come and tell that earlier this evening I watched a movie called "The Kid" which starred Bruce Willis, Spencer Breslin and Lily Tomlin which I have to say was a very funny movie. Bruce Willis and Spencer Breslin were excellent throughout the movie. I recommend this movie highly.

That is it for now my dear world I will talk to you again later.

Good-night !!!!!!!

A Little Note And Some Surprising News

Hello dear world

First things first good evening how are you ? Today was another day at work for me and it was a really busy day and I won't bother you with telling you all that I was busy doing. Let me just say work was work an all 8 hour shift.

Ready for the surprising news I got my results back from my blood tests I recently took at the doctor's office down at Kaiser. And the envelope please.....well you might be surprised to know that my iron count is still low but I have been taking an iron pill every single day and still it didn't do any good. The most shocking of all was to hear that my cholesterol is quite low usually they tell me that my cholesterol is high and now they say its quite low. The other thing they told me that my triglycerides are low I had no idea what a triglyceride was I had to look up the spelling of it in the dictionary. Can anyone tell me how to raise my triglyceride ????

Enough with me going on and on and on how was your day ? I hope that your day was a little better than mine was. I hope that unlike me your neck of the woods isn't coated in pollen. Anywho I just wanted to pop in and say hello to you my dear world. Take care.

Good-night !!!!!!!!!

Some Notes And A Little Sad News

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ?? Let me start off by saying that more of the pollen that I told you about recently has coated everything in sight. I am longing for rain and I wouldn't mind if it rained for a couple of weeks without end I wouldn't complain.

Anywho....last night my dad brought home some Crawfish. My family and I enjoy eating Crawfish they are quite tasty. He also brought home some small red potatoes which are my favorite of all. Later in the evening I watched the Lifetime series "Blood Ties" which is becoming another show I am falling in love with.

In other news today started another week of work for me and my coworkers. I do have some sad news to report.....Staff Sgt. Blake M. Harris died on Thursday March 15, outside of Baghdad. A remotely detonated bomb exploded while Harris led American soldiers on a foot patrol. He was the 3,206th U.S. soldier to die in Iraq since the war began. He will be buried in Arlington Cemetery next week. Blake Harris grew up in the Jonesboro Baptist Church. His parents, Paul and Anne, moved to Jonesboro a few months before he was born. He graduated from Lovejoy High School in 1997 and went off to boot camp a week later. He would have been 28 years old on March 30. He was on his third tour of duty in the Middle East.

My dear world it seems like everytime I turn on the television or read the newspaper I find that another soldier has been killed while fighting in the war in Iraq. Nothing seems to change there. I think that it would be nice if President Bush went ahead and pulled the troops out of Iraq. I know that I may be a zillion miles away from Iraq and I may not be experiencing war firsthand but it still affects me. I realize that I am able to be home with my family, watching television or going out shopping and that the troops don't have that ability but I am wishing they could all be out of harm's way. I can't remember where it all really began or where it will ever end.

On a different note I am so very happy to report that I got home to find that my dear friend Diane sent me a letter in the mail today and let me just say YEAH !!!!!!!!!! Its so very nice hearing from her whenever I get the chance. I will be sending her a letter in the mail tomorrow so she will be hearing from me as well. Let me also say "HI DIANE !!"

Last but not least how was your day my dear world ?? What were you up to today ?? I hope you are not suffering from an attack of "THE POLLEN" sounds like a horror movie doesn't it ??? Finally tonight I will be watching "24" with the very handsome Kiefer Sutherland which I'm sure will be another exciting program.

Do take care my dear world. I'll talk to you again soon.

Byyyye !!!!!!!!!

Notes

Hello dear world

Good afternoon how are you ? I forgot to tell you that yesterday was the first time that I saw a butterfly in my neck of the woods. I haven't seen any in my neck of the woods in quite a while but yesterday I saw one. I found out from this website -----> http://butterflywebsite.com/ that it was a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly and it was pretty. I am sure that with all of this pollen perhaps more will show up. I wouldn't mind a little rain though to wash some of it down.

Anywho....at the moment I am reading "The Freedom Writers Diary" but I haven't seen the movie yet. The diary is wonderful you might want to go and pick it up. Here is the link -----> http://www.freedomwriters.com/ .

You might also want to know that I am going to be going down to Florida on the 6th of April and I can't wait. My family and I will be going camping which is one of our many hobbies. We love to take our pop-up camper with us and stay at a campground its fun. We love to go camping its such fun to get out and enjoy the different campgrounds. We haven't been able to go camping in quite a while with our nieces in school and work for me and my dad but now we are about to go once again. I love it. St. Andrews State Park will be having us as visitors to their campground which will be totally fun.

So how was your day dear world ??? I'll let you get back to what you were doing. I just wanted to come by and say hello. Take care dear world.

Talk to you soon !!!!!!!

An Amazing, Wonderful and Fun Filled Day

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? I have quite a bit to tell you today so you might be sick of me after all of this news hopefully not. Ready ???? Here we go....

Early this morning my folks and I and my youngest niece Megan went to Kaiser because my mom and I had to get some blood tests taken. Let me tell you the nurse that I had jabbed the needle into my arm leaving me with a purple bruise where she jabbed the needle in. I hate getting blood taken the nurses don't seem to have any professional training with needles I'm sorry to say.

Anywho...after we went to Kaiser we went to a place called "Truett's Grill" for breakfast. Truett's Grill is owned by the very owner of Chick-Fil-A which is another restaurant I go to with my family. At Truett's Grill we had a breakfast buffet which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, grits, chicken, biscuits and gravy as well as baked apples in a very creamy apple sauce. Breakfast at Truett's Grill was wonderful. There was all kinds of 40's memorabilia inside as well as an old vintage car from the 40's parked at the entrance of Truett's Grill. Inside of Truett's Grill was an old 40's vintage motorcycle parked on top of a shelf as well as a classic train car going around on a train track above everyone eating which was my favorite part of Truett's Grill next to the food that is. If your ever in Georgia you must go there.

After Truett's Grill we then went to a store called "Tuesday Morning". In the store I purchased some nice note cards. I also purchased a photo album for my mom there. After going to Tuesday Morning we went to a store called T.J. Maxx where I also bought some different note cards. It was quite fun going to the different stores.

Later in the afternoon my folks and I and my niece Megan hung out in our pop-up camper eating, drinking and listening to music. Hanging out in our pop-up camper is like being on one of our camping trips.

After we came back inside my folks and I watched the movie "Casino Royale" with Daniel Craig who starred as James Bond. I have to say that Daniel is as good as Sean Connery was when he played James Bond. I hope that there will be a sequel to the movie it was filled with lots of action and it left you guessing what was going to happen next. Every minute of Casino Royale was worth watching I sure loved it. I recommend this movie.

All in all this was a really amazing fun day. How was your day dear world ? I hope your day was as nice as mine was. It was quite a day for me and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I'll certainly talk to you tomorrow. Sweet dreams !!!!!!!!!

An Update

Hello once again dear world

Good evening. Today I am feeling much better. The weather was great despite the high amount of pollen in my neck of the woods. You might want to know that right now I am in the process of reading a book by Julie Anne Peters titled "Define Normal".

By the way there are some other books I would like to read which are as follows:

Water For Elephants - Sara Gruen

Twilight - Stephenie Meyer

The Book Thief - Markus Zusak

The Blood Books - Tanya Huff

In other news earlier this evening just my folks and I went to eat at Red Lobster. My sister and her daughters went over someone's house for a visit so they didn't come with us. Anywho....for dinner I had The Admiral's Feast which is a plate of different kinds of seafood such as shrimp, a lobster tail, crab legs and a side of either mashed potatoes or a baked potato. My folks also had The Admiral's Feast but with my feast I had mashed potatoes which were quite creamy. With their feast they both had a baked potato. We all had a salad though and we each had a cup of Lobster Bisque which was wonderful. Let me just tell you our dinner was wonderful.

After Red Lobster my folks and I then took a ride to a store called Target which was fun fun fun. At Target I purchased some stickers, some more hand-written journals and the new Ludacris CD. I don't know if I told you this but I am a huge fan of Ludacris and his music. I can tell you my dear world going to Target is completely great.

Immediately after Target we then took a ride to the Dollar Store where I purchased a few other items including a few other stickers. All in all I can say that I had a very fun night. In my honest opinion shopping is a great mood lifter. I wish I could bottle days like this I had a blast going here going there and going here and going there.

So how was your day dear world ? Did you get out today ? I hope you had as wonderful a day as I did. I also hope that you enjoy your weekend as much as possible. Keep me posted dear world. I will let you know how my weekend goes as well.

Take care everyone. Sleep Well !!!!!!!!

I HAVE THE "I HATE SPRINGTIME" BLUES

Hello dear world

How are you ? Well today was another day at work for me but at the moment I have to say one thing. I have the "I HATE SPRINGTIME BLUES". I have to say that I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate this time of year....this dreaful everything is blooming season. I especially hate POLLEN. I can not stand POLLEN not one single drop of it. I am dreading when more of it comes. Pretty soon there will be more of it and everything in Georgia will get completely coated in a kind of frothy yellow powdered kind of sugar that leaves more and more people sneezing, coughing, itching and scratching with intensity to their POLLEN covered eyes. I hate this time of year when everything starts blooming which brings POLLEN and BEES and yet more and more POLLEN. I don't want to go through another season of running to the drug stores for Alavert, Claritin or Benadryl. I want to fast forward through this entire Spring so we can get to Summer so I won't have to live alongside POLLEN as if we were the best of friends. Today was the worst I could practically feel the POLLEN sticking itself to every inch of my body like some sort of gravitational force was pushing it towards me like a magnet. I can not stand SPRINGTIME I hate it like chickenpox or a really bad rash. This POLLEN is going to be the worst. UGH !!!! UGH !!! UGH !!!!!! That about makes a long story short. Here is a site you might want to check out : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollen

How was your day dear world ????

Sincerly Yours,

Coated With Pollen

My Day

Hello dear world

How are you today ? First of all I am happy to report that it was another beautiful day in Georgia and I am doing well.

Today I had to take the day off of work so I could go to the doctor with my mom. I do have to tell you my dear world that on the way to uptown Atlanta I saw something horrible. There was a truck with several cages on it. Inside of the cages were 5 or more chickens stuffed full inside of each and every cage which looked like an extreme form of cruel and unusual punishment. It was hard to see something like that.

Anywho....the doctor's office we went to let me tell you it looks more like a museum than it does a doctor's office. Inside of the waiting room they have an aquarium filled with several tropical freshwater fish that looked like they came from the ocean near a Hawaiian island. There was also a fish whose head resembled that of a rock swimming around in the aquarium. I also have to tell you that the view from the window in the doctor's office we went to was amazing you could see a million miles out which was nice.

After the doctor's office me and my mom went to lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse which let me tell you has some amazing food. My mom and I had the Ribeye which was quite succulent. She had her ribeye with a baked potato and I had mine with very creamy melt-in-your-mouth mashed potatoes. We also shared a salad and she had a cup of french onion soup. Our lunch was wonderful and I am sad to report that were too full to have any dessert which I really really wanted. The thing is there were two people sitting on the side of us eating what looked like a heavenly rich cookie dough cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and fudge syrup underneath. Every time I go to Longhorn Steakhouse I always eat so much that I never have room for dessert. Next time I go there dear world I am going to have to make it a point to have one of their desserts.

After lunch we arrived home where I watched "The Holiday" again. I still LOVVVVVVVVVVVVE it !!!!!!!!! I just love Jude Law and Jack Black even more. I want to see it a thousand billion more times. Dear world I am bubbling over with lots and lots of happiness. I could live on days like this. All in all it was a really nice day.

I have some additional news for you. Tonight my folks and I and my niece Jeanette went to a store called "Belk's". You might be surprised to know that I found ( 2 ) pairs of pants at the store and I actually tried them on in the fitting room which I hate to do. I also found a nice nightgown that I like there. Once we got home I started watching a movie on the Hallmark Channel called "Hidden Places" which was a pretty decent movie. It was something of a love story and it was a nice one. The Hallmark channel has some pretty nice movies on it.

So how was your day dear world ? Did you go out today ? Is the weather as wonderful in your neck of the woods as it is in mine ??? I do hope that you had a really wonderful and enjoyable day. I will talk to you again soon.

Hello dear world

How are you today ? I am quite well in fact I am quite happy. Of course today started another week at work for me at my job. In case I didn't tell you last night I watched my favorite Lifetime program "Blood Ties" which was quite good. I like watching Kyle Schmid play the vampire Henry Fitzroy. I can't wait until next Sunday to see it again.

In my other great news today I took a ride down to a store in my neck of the woods called Kmart with one of my coworkers which was fun because the weather outside was wonderful. I shopped of course which was fun. I purchased ( 2 ) different movies: The Holiday with my favorite actors Jude Law and Jack Black. I also purchased a CD with one of my other favorite singers named "Fergie As The Duchess" here is a link for you -----> http://fergie.blackeyedpeas.com/ . My favorite song on her CD is "GLAMOROUS" featuring Ludacris. I am also a fan of Ludacris who also has a CD of his own. I have to tell you that shopping is fun when you find something you really like. I also purchased some books that I wanted to read as well as movies and CD's. All in all it was quite a trip for me and my coworker.

My Day Is A Floating Dish

Hello dear world

How are you today ? First of all I hope that you all had a great "Happy St. Patrick's Day". I stayed home and I enjoyed the day. Yesterday I watched some television which I wanted to share with you. There was a movie on Lifetime yesterday called "Barbara Taylor Bradford's : Her Own Rules" which I have to say was a great movie. I have never read any of her books but I think that I will have to start getting some of her books. Here is her site if you want to check out her work --------> http://www.barbarataylorbradford.com/ . I think that you will want to go get some of her books as well. You might also want to see "Her Own Rules" which was a very touching movie.

I also watched a movie on HBO called "Just Like Heaven" with Reese Witherspoon which was a very funny movie. I am a fan of Reese's because her movies are always good. If you are in the mood for a funny movie you will want to see this movie. I certainly enjoyed it. Here is a link -----> www.justlikeheaven-themovie.com/ .

I have to tell you that a few minutes ago I found a very wonderful journal that I want to share with you. The name of this journal is "MySouthernHome". I AM HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello my dear world

How are you ??? I am quite well today. As my favorite writer Mr. Brimm of "Chosen Words" wrote...the local weather is going to be less than springlike. Oh, well, No harm in looking ahead. I have to agree.

First things first....If you didn't hear the news our dear friend Jeannette of Jeannette's Jottings is having surgery tomorrow so please do keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Perhaps you might send her a card in the mail letting her know you are thinking of her. Send our dear friend lots of love. You might want to drop over to Jeannette's Jottings and send her a few loving words.

In other news from my front....I am quite happy to report that my friend Diane sent me a letter which I am happy about. She recently took a trip to Utah and she has returned. I am going to send her another letter in the mail because I have tons to tell her.

I am also happy to report that my other friend Rebecca Anne sent me a package in the mail and I am going to take it to work with me tomorrow and open it there because I am going to have a little extra to look forward too tomorrow besides writing to my friends.

THANK YOU DIANE AND REBECCA !!!!!!!!!!!!

On a more different note....we are having NASCAR Race weekend here in my neck of the woods. I am sad to report that I won't be going though. I am sure I will see it on the television. I wish I could go though. I would love to meet my favorite race car driver Jeff Gordon but I am sure I will see it all on the t.v.

How are things with you my dear world ??? How are things where you are ??? I hope you are doing well. Do let me know. Before I go I would like to share a poem with you.

TOUCH OF SPRING

I feel a touch

like a friendly hand

on my back, an arm

across my shoulders,

for the sun has

broken free of clouds

and is projecting

a warmth I had

almost forgotten.

I smile at strangers

and they smile back,

for they're feeling

that touch, too,

that warm embrace.

c.1999 R.Brimm

That's it for me.

Good-night dear world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tons And Tons Of News

Hello dear world

How are you ???? I have tons of news for you do I ever so here it is:

First things first. The weather here has been quite lovely it was in the 80's today and I enjoyed it. I am loving this weather and I am getting used to Daylight Savings Time.

In other news...on Sunday I watched a new series called "Blood Ties" which will be coming on every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. on Lifetime. I have to say that I love it. I am also happy to report that my favorite show "Bones" returns tomorrow with my favorite actor David Boreanaz so YEAH !!!!!!!!!! Here is a link to "Blood Ties" -----> www.lifetimetv.com/shows/bloodties/ .

I am also happy to report that my coworker is back at work and she is still a little sore but she is getting better every day and its nice to see her after she was gone from work. She is a really sweet lady and we are friends so its nice having her for a coworker as well.

Wait, wait, wait dear world I have more news for you. Today a new lady started working with us and so far she's a really sweet person. I wasn't sure what she was going to be like. It is nice having someone new around at work with us. I didn't know if she was going to be young like myself or a little older. It turns out that she is a little bit older than me and she has 3 kids. It will take some time getting to know her because she was still kind of quiet but I guess its going to take some time for her to open up to us. I was quiet when I first started working around my coworkers so I am sure she will change especially being around us a little bit more. Me and my coworkers work Monday-Friday and we're off on the weekend. We work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On a different note yesterday me, my oldest niece and my mom took a ride to JoAnn's which is one of my favorite stores to go to. I love going there and looking at all the different stickers and items they have. I bought some various stickers that were on sale. I also purchased a bracelet there for my niece which she liked. I also bought my mom a few things she wanted.

After JoAnn's we walked down to Kohl's which is another wonderful place to shop. I got some cards while we were there. I have to say that shopping is fun especially going to stores I like. We went to JoAnn's and Kohl's an hour before they were going to close. There were a few people in JoAnn's but there weren't many people in Kohl's. All in all it was a fun night for me.

Moving on....

Tonight on television American Idol came on. I sat and watched it. I haven't been watching any of it lately especially after Sundance was kicked off but tonight Kisha sang and she sang wonderfully and beautifully.

Anywho...earlier in my entry I mentioned the series "Blood Ties" on Lifetime well my favorite actor David Boreanaz who now is on "Bones" used to be on another show called "Angel" in which he played a Vampire. "Blood Ties" is another one of those wonderful shows like "Angel" was. I wish that Lifetime would have put David on the show as a Vampire as well he was great as the Vampire named "Angel". I will continue to watch "Blood Ties" to see more of it in the following days so I will keep you posted on this series. Have you seen it dear world ?

I guess I have kept you long enough dear world with my news. How are things with you ? How is the weather in your part of the world ? I hope you are doing well and chugging along as I am. I will talk to you again soon and I am sure I will have more news for you from my neck of the woods. I will let you get back to what you were doing. Before I go on even more I will just say good-night dear world.

Take care everyone !!!!!!!!!!

One Fine Day

Hello dear world

How are you ? I am feeling quite a bit better now. I have a little bit of news. My family's pop-up camper is open once more because on April 6,2007 my family and I will be leaving for Florida. We will be going to Panama City Beach, Florida. We haven't been there in quite a while. I wonder what the weather will be like in Florida. I'm hoping that it will be warm for our trip down there. It will certainly be nice to go back to eat at some of the restaurants again. We will be staying at our usual hang out which is St. Andrews State Park. Once my family and I head back home from our trip I will have more to tell you. Here is a link for the campground -----> www.floridastateparks.org/standrews/ .

In other news it was another beautiful day in my neck of the woods. Of course tomorrow starts another week at work for me. I hope my coworker that fell is recovering from her fall. I haven't talked to her since Friday so I am hoping she is feeling better.

Anywho.....you will be happy to know that my family and I are doing fine despite my computer acting up. A few minutes ago we were all out in the camper we ate hot dogs that my dad cooked on our little outdoor grill which was a lot like one of our camping trips to Florida. All in all it was one fine day.

How are things with you my dear world ? How is the weather where you are ? I hope your Sunday was a nice one. I will talk to you again tomorrow which I'm sure I will have more news for you from Georgia.

Take care everyone !!!!!!!!!!!

UGH !!!!!!!

Hello Dear World

UGH, UGH, UGH and UGH !!!!! I am frustrated at the moment. If you look at my page you can look at my list of the journals that I visit and the print is barely visible. BJ's And Breakfast At Tiffany's

Hello dear world

How are you ? Let me begin by saying I love Saturday's !!!! Today it was a really beautiful day in my neck of the woods. Earlier this morning I watched "The Lake House" which is great on a Saturday afternoon.

Then my folks and I went to Red Lobster where we picked up my oldest niece who had gone to one of her friends Birthday party. After picking her up my family and I went to a place called "BJ's Membership Club" here is a link for the store ----> http://www.bjs.com/  which is a everything you could want from groceries to DVD's except in bulk. It was the first time for us going there to shop. The thing is we used a pass to shop there which turned out to be a big mess and I tell you later. In case you wanted to know I purchased some Brie which is a great tasting cheese as well as some Goat cheese with herbs which is also great tasting. I also bought some crackers to go with the cheese I bought. I also bought a CD there by the 10,000 Maniacs. The lead singer of the group is Natalie Merchant. There's some songs on the CD that I really like titled "Like The Weather" and "What's The Matter Here". Here is a link to check out -----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3NIMz8EtwY . The thing is we had a coupon they gave us to use at the cash register which was a huge mess. The cashier had to go talk to the manager, she then had to go get a key which didn't work too well and in the end it took us 20 minutes to check out at the cash register. I have to tell you dear world I don't think that I will be going back there.

Once we arrived home I sat and watched the movie "Breakfast At Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. George is rather dashing in the movie in my honest opinion. After the movie I then watched one of my other favorite movie's called "Lake Placid" which is a great great movie. All in all I had a nice day.

So my dear world how was your day ? What did you do today ? I hope you enjoyed your day as I did. I just wanted to pop in and say hello and to let you know how I am doing. That's it for me. I'll talk to you again soon.

A Friday Note

Hello dear world

Good-evening how are you ? I am fine thanks. It was a rather cool day in my neck of the woods. I wish it would go back to yesterday's temperatures preferably in the high 70's. Anywho...it was another day at work for me. Did I tell you dear world one of my coworkers had fell recently when she wasn't at work so she is home recovering from a few scrapes and bruises. Hopefully she will recover from her injuries soon. There is no need for her to come rushing back to work of course her getting well is more important. Luckily she didn't break any bones which was good news she is just a little banged up.

In other news I started reading Janet Evanovich's "One For The Money" which is a funny book. The main character Stephanie Plum is quite funny and the story keeps you reading. If you haven't read it you should go pick it up or get a friend to send it to you I suggest it highly.

Anywho....earlier this evening my family and I went to a restaurant called O'Charley's for dinner here is its link --- http://www.ocharleys.com/ . I had a Cedar-Planked Salmon w/Smashed Potatoes. I also ordered the Clam Chowder Soup for my mom with my order but I ended up giving it to my dad instead because he really wanted to taste it so we let him have it. He said it was great. I have to tell you dear world the cedar-planked salmon was delicious. It was even better with a little sprinkle of lemon juice. The smashed potatoes were also very good. O'Charley's you must know has some good, good, good, good food. I like going there with my family very much. One day I will have to go there and try one of their desserts. Their steaks aren't half bad either just in case you wanted to know.

I am sad to report that I went back to watching American Idol which was a mistake. I think that its wrong that the talented singers are being put off the show. I think that its a shame that the votes aren't recounted because they are losing quite a bit of the talent on the show.

I have a question dear world : Has anyone seen the new Avril Lavigne video "Girlfriend" ? Well I have to say that I was a fan of hers but in this song she is sounding too much like Paris Hilton in this one. I think she needs to go back to her angst filled songs. I am impressed with the new Hilary Duff in her new video "With Love" she has changed quite a bit. I like her new song and I definitely want to get her new CD.

I am quite happy to report that I got a letter in the mail from my friend Rebecca Anne today which was nice of her it was such a treat. I will be writing a letter to her of course just to let her know that I appreciated her kindness. Its nice getting a letter in the mail from a friend dear world.

How was your day ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope that your day was a nice one. I will talk to you again soon. Take care everyone.

Some Notes For Thursday

Hello my dear world

How are you today ? First I have a little sad news. Our dear friend Jeannette of Jeannette's Jottings is a little sick and she will have to have surgery soon. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Hopefully she will make a quick recovery in her health and she will be back with us soon. WE LOVE YOU JEANNETTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news I am happy to report that it was another beautiful sunny day in Georgia it was in the 70's and it was lovely. Me and one of my female coworkers that I told you about we went out today to a store and shopped a little bit and then we went out again to get something to eat. We enjoyed the sunshine and we really didn't want to go back to work but we did. It felt like Summer instead of Spring and let me tell you I soaked up quite a bit of sunshine.

I also have to tell you that before arriving to work this morning I watched an animal rescue show on television here is a site for you to check out www.animalrescuetv.com/ . The program I watched was quite sad I must say. On the show one guy had actually shot his dog in the head with a gun, another owner had left his dog in a thich choke chain which had caused severe injury to the dog's neck. Also on the show an Animal Rescue Worker had to dig down under a huge mountain of dirt to get to a pipe in which a baby kitten had gotten stuck in. Inside of the pipe where the kitten was he had suffered from a lack of oxygen as well as having swallowed some of the dirt in the pipe which was sad because you could hear that the kitten was in distress. The program that comes on in the morning before I leave for work is often hard to watch because of how some of the animals are treated by their owners. On a bright side half of the dogs and cats and other animals are able to be helped by Vets and other assistants so they can be brought back to good health and adopted by loving families which is nice.

In other news....last night I helped my youngest niece with her Math homework. I have to admit that when I was in school Math was one of my worst subjects because I didn't like it. Math to me is yucky,yucky,yucky. I can't say that I like adding problems like 6 + 3 + 4 = or 7 + 4 + 8 = or 3 + 2 + 5 = or 7 + 1 + 9 = . I especially don't like word problems like :

If Train A leaves the train station at 8:10 a.m. will Train B which leaves the train station at the same time arrive at the train station tomorrow morning at the same time as Train A ?

Another word problem she had was :

Jake had 5 apples, Amy had 3 apples, Sam had 6 apples and Samantha had 2 apples. How many apples were there all together ?

I hate these kinds of problems most of all. I wish someone in the problem would have eaten all of the apples and that way I wouldn't have had to solve the problem. I really don't care if the trains ever arrive at the station and I don't care about how many apples there are because its just a problem that someone else is going to solve but I had to help my niece. Basically my dear world I hate Math and I wouldn't want to go back to school to do Math all over again. Me I just don't like Math of any kind. What do you think dear world ?

Anywho....how are things in your neck of the woods dear world ? How was your day ? I hope it was as nice as mine was. I am also excited to report that I received a package from a pen pal of mine that I come to know through letters we send eachother. It is so nice getting a little something I loved in the mail. All in all I just wanted to pop in and say hello to all of you. Take care my dear world and I will talk to you again soon.

Good-night !!!!!!!!

See how the sun

comes crawling

through the window,

like hungry bees

on a single sprig

of goldenrod.

A Few Notes

Hello dear world

How are you today ?? Today has been a rather cool day in my neck of the woods but you will be happy to know that today I got out of the house.

First my family and I went over to a store called Party City -----> http://www.partycity.com/ . I bought a few things such as different insects sealed in some wax to put on my keychain. One of the insects is a cockroach, another one is a wasp and the other one is a weird looking spider. You might not know this but I like weird things. I also bought some stickers and some gag gifts for my coworkers.

After Party City we went over to a store called "Seasonal Concepts". The store let me tell you has over the top prices. They are having a "Going Out Of Business" Sale. I bought an item for my mom's village which wasn't as expensive as the other items in the store.

Then we took a ride to the Dollar Store where I picked up some other kinds of stickers in which to decorate my handwritten journal/ diary. Here is a link ----> http://www.dollartree.com/ .

Lastly we then took a ride to a store called "Anna's Linen's". Let me tell you there was nothing in this store worth buying except towels and shower curtains and I'm not all that into buying towels and shower curtains. We just went in and looked around. Here is the link -----> http://www.annaslinens.com/ .

All in all it was a really nice outing with the family ? How has your Sunday been my dear world ? What have you been up to this weekend ? I hope you've had a really nice one.

By the way if you are looking for a good scare you might want to check out the Discovery Channel which has a program on called "A Haunting" you won't want to miss this show its bone chillingly scary. I watch it quite a lot. You might just get hooked into every single scary chill down your spine moment.

That's about it for me. I'll talk to you all later. Tomorrow starts another week at work for me so I'll let you know how it goes. Take care everyone.

I'm home doing nothing

Hello dear world

How are you today ? I just had to pop in for a minute and say hi. So hi !!!!!!!!

Anywho....a few minutes ago I finished eating a plate of Spaghetti with fresh grated Parmesan Cheese which was good. Now I am eating a pack of Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookies which is my favorite of all the Girl Scout Cookies especially because they are chocolatey good. I was thinking that Thin Mints Girl Scout Cookies should be turned into an ice-cream what do you think dear world ? Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah there's nothing good coming on tonight so I will probably watch "The Lake House" tonight on DVD. Basically I'm home and so I thought I would come and talk to you and see how you all are doing.

I hope you all have a good night. Take care everyone.

Hello dear world

How are you ? I wanted to pop in and say hello. I had a great couple of nice warm days in Georgia but now its raining, raining and raining some more. There are reports that there is a Tornado watch in Georgia so we are getting lots of bad weather. I am happy to report that I am home safe and sound with my family. I do hope that those living in Alabama are doing alright I heard that some homes were destroyed down there. I do hope my friends Helen and Ken are doing alright.
