An Amazing, Wonderful and Fun Filled Day

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? I have quite a bit to tell you today so you might be sick of me after all of this news hopefully not. Ready ???? Here we go....

Early this morning my folks and I and my youngest niece Megan went to Kaiser because my mom and I had to get some blood tests taken. Let me tell you the nurse that I had jabbed the needle into my arm leaving me with a purple bruise where she jabbed the needle in. I hate getting blood taken the nurses don't seem to have any professional training with needles I'm sorry to say.

Anywho...after we went to Kaiser we went to a place called "Truett's Grill" for breakfast. Truett's Grill is owned by the very owner of Chick-Fil-A which is another restaurant I go to with my family. At Truett's Grill we had a breakfast buffet which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, grits, chicken, biscuits and gravy as well as baked apples in a very creamy apple sauce. Breakfast at Truett's Grill was wonderful. There was all kinds of 40's memorabilia inside as well as an old vintage car from the 40's parked at the entrance of Truett's Grill. Inside of Truett's Grill was an old 40's vintage motorcycle parked on top of a shelf as well as a classic train car going around on a train track above everyone eating which was my favorite part of Truett's Grill next to the food that is. If your ever in Georgia you must go there.

After Truett's Grill we then went to a store called "Tuesday Morning". In the store I purchased some nice note cards. I also purchased a photo album for my mom there. After going to Tuesday Morning we went to a store called T.J. Maxx where I also bought some different note cards. It was quite fun going to the different stores.

Later in the afternoon my folks and I and my niece Megan hung out in our pop-up camper eating, drinking and listening to music. Hanging out in our pop-up camper is like being on one of our camping trips.

After we came back inside my folks and I watched the movie "Casino Royale" with Daniel Craig who starred as James Bond. I have to say that Daniel is as good as Sean Connery was when he played James Bond. I hope that there will be a sequel to the movie it was filled with lots of action and it left you guessing what was going to happen next. Every minute of Casino Royale was worth watching I sure loved it. I recommend this movie.

All in all this was a really amazing fun day. How was your day dear world ? I hope your day was as nice as mine was. It was quite a day for me and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I'll certainly talk to you tomorrow. Sweet dreams !!!!!!!!!

I am glad that you had a fun filled day after such a yucky start. I hate having blood work done as sometimes I get jabbed two or three times before they can get the needle in a vein. Ken says thank you for the cute get well card. He was very appreciative to get it. Have a nice Sunday. Hugs, Helen

Hello There...Good morning...I am still half asleep as Britsh Summer Time started last night and our clocks went forward an hour so although the clock says 8am it is really only 7am by my body clock. No wonder my wee dog Dee thought I was mad getting up so early !!    You sure seem to have had a good day yesterday.  I do have a smile when I read about all the restaraunts around you....I am sure I would be even fatter than I am ...and thst too fat !!!.....if I was to be visiting your place in the world.     Keep making us smile.     Love Sybil. (think I told you I will be away till next Friday, but will be sure to speak again then)

I couldn't get through all of Casino Royale... I just couldn't get into the movie... Then again, I'm not very fond of action movies... Well anyways, Chris just watched the entire thing, and the next morning he told me the rest of what happened... So it was like I watched the entire thing, almost, well at least close enough, for me that is.... But I'm glad you like it!

Just a comment to correct you on Truett's Grill.  It is actually a 50's style diner with a full size "retired" San Francisco cable car, Model A car, and a restored 1927 Indian Scout motorcyle.
