MY DAY.........

Hello Dear World !!!!!!

How are you ? Let me begin by saying "Happy Labor Day". I am not exactly sure what is celebrated on Labor Day but "Happy Labor Day" none the less. The weather today was quite wonderful it was a really nice tropical blue day and yes I'm doing fine.

Earlier today I was reading my oldest niece's Literature book when I came upon a poem that I really liked and I thought I would share with you. The title of the poem is "I Wish I Had Said" written by a writer named Christian O'Connor. Anyway here it is.......

I Wish I Had Said.....

I wish I had said......

Your beauty is like a light,

And I am drawn to it,

Fluttering by its flame.

I wish I had said.....

Your smile melts through

My heart, leaving only

Your warmth. Oh, how

I wish I had said......

Your translucent eyes

Send your soul to my heart,

Forcing it to beat again.

Yes that is what I wish

I had said, but,

With confounded cowardice,

All I said was....

Hello, with a smile,

And I passed you by.

How was my day ? Well for starters let me say that I had a really really amazing day. First my family and I went to a store called Kohl's which is a great place to shop. At Kohl's I purchased a pair of K-Swiss tennis shoes. I always wanted a pair of K-Swiss so I bought a pair that fit me perfectly.

After Kohl's we then went to JoAnn's which is one of my favorite arts & crafts stores. I did quite a bit of shopping there. I started my shopping by purchasing a huge amount of stickers for my oldest niece and my mom since they are in the middle of scrapbooking. The stickers I buy I add to my hand-written journal which I share with all of you here at J-Land. Everything I write in my journal is totally shared with you I just thought you would like to know.

Then after JoAnn's we took a trip to a place called the "World Market" which is a store by the way. Going to the World Market is like visiting different parts of the world like that of India, Spain and Morocco all under one roof. At the World Market along with the other things I bought from the other stores I purchased some Marzipan, some Lindt Truffles and some very rich Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares. As you know I am a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge lover of chocolate. Let me repeat that.......I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE CHOCOLATE.

Yes dear world this was a really amazing day !!!!!!! So how was your day ??? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope your day was as nice as mine. If its not obvious already I am

Happy.

For now I will say good-night and I would like to once again wish you all the sweetest of dreams...Take care everyone sleep well.

Yours, M.

We also have Kohl's, JoAnn's, (even Michaels), and the World Market (and Pier One) out here in Las Vegas as well, they are all very popular and I too enjoy going to them.  For Labor Day, my husband and I took our lil 4 yr old daughter named Hope, and our lil 3 yr old son Cory to the Children's Discovery Museum today.  We had lots of fun conducting hands-on exploring on all their exhibits!  Do you have Children Museums out there too?

You mentioned getting some Ghirardelli Chocolates, which are VERY DELICIOUS, and you have also mentioned living in California in the past, have you by any chance ever been to San Francisco's Ghirardelli Square yet?
Wishing U Sweetest Dreams in Return,
Diane

Thank you for visiting my journal.  Since my journal is new I am surfing around looking at other journals... and finding some really fun, interesting ones.

That poem probably rings true for what many people wish they had said. I am a rather reserved person and not too quick with my words and always think of things I should have said after the fact.

I love Kohls and Joanns and am just starting to get into scrapbooking and playing around with my new dig camera.

I will be back to visit your journal soon.  My alerts aren't working so I don't know if anyone else is having problems, but I just hope everyone is getting my comments.
