And The Winners For Guest Editors For The Week Are.....

Hello dear world

How are you ? At the moment its pretty cold here in my neck of the woods but thankfully my fingers haven't fallen off ha,ha,ha,ha. I would like to announce at this time the winners for Guest Editors For The Week which are as follows:

The Hadonfield Myers Experience ------ http://journals.aol.com/Hadonfield78/TheHadonfieldMyersExperience

Lone Star Concerto ------- http://journals.aol.com/jayveerhapsody/LoneStarConcerto/

Saturday's Child --------- http://journals.aol.com/ksquester/SaturdaysChild/

Sunshine Colorado Notes --------- http://journals.aol.com/dwhee70041/SunshineColoradoNotes/

Marie's Muses --------- http://journals.aol.co.uk/mariealicejoan/MariesMuses/

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have to say that Marie of Marie's Muses got me to thinking recently with one of her entries "The Dinner Party". Here's the question:

You invite 5 people for dinner....famous or not.....people who will inspire scintilating conversation and dazzle the room with their with and charm who will be your five dinner guests and why ?

For starters my dinner would consist of chicken breasts over a bed of croutons splashed with olive oil with a side of asparagus tied with bacon and mixed vegetables and for dessert I would have cheesecake topped with raspberries with a side of chocolate sauce served with ( 2 ) bottles of wine.

Now on to the guest list:

Anthony Bourdain - I think that besides him being a great cook he is also an amazing writer. He also has a show on the travel channel called "Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations". I think he would add quite a bit to the dinner because I think he's a very interesting person.

Dennis Miller - From his politics and his humor I think that he would have a lot to add to the conversation among the other guests. I would like to ask him some questions as well.

Nora Roberts - From reading her books I find that being that she is a writer I would definitely want to invite her to dinner. I also think that she would be a very interesting person to talk to. I would think that she could offer lots of interest to the conversation. I have often wanted to meet her.

Bill O'Reilly - Since I have heard his political commentary on the Fox News Channel I would want to include him as a guest. Being that I have disagreed with him on his views I would want to talk to him and ask him a few questions. I would also like to see how he handles the different conversations with the other guests at the table.

Kiefer Sutherland - Being that I have always been a fan of his I certainly would want to invite him as a guest to the dinner party. I would definitely like to have a conversation with him and to get to know him face to face.

To the guest list I have some extra people added:

Jon Stewart - From his Daily Show on Comedy Central I would be so excited to have him come to dinner. I think that he would add quite a bit to the conversation along with his humor and his insight.

R. Brimm - This guy would be on the top of my list. Being that I have been a huge fan of his writing and his poetry I would most certainly like to have him as a guest. I definitely would like to talk to him in person. There is so much I would like to ask him as well as talk to him about.

Jack Black - Seeing his movies and being a huge fan of his I would be more than happy to have him come to dinner. I know that it would be interesting to talk to him with the others at the table. I also think he has a tremendous sense of humor so that would be an added plus.

Sean Hannity - I would say that being that I have heard him on the radio and on the Fox News Channel as well I would want him to be a guest as well. I don't agree on certain things he says just like Mr. O'Reilly so I would definitely want to talk to him about a few things as well.

Jimmy Carter - Being that he was friends with Mattie Stepanek and been a President in The White House I would definitely want him as a dinner guest. I also think that from the books he's written I would also like to talk to him about a few things.

Rosie O'Donnell - I would also like to include Rosie as a guest because I too would like to talk to her. I think that she would add something to the conversation but I do have a few little things that I don't exactly agree with her on. I would like to talk to her and get to know her. I would like to hear her opinions about world views.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So my dear world who would you like to invite for dinner ? Who would you most like to talk to ? I would love to have you all over for dinner but we will save that for another time. I hope you had a wonderful day. I will talk to you again soon.

Ciao !!!!!!!!!!!

A Poem I Would Like To Share

A Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Poem

Monday says "I will not come today"

as Tuesday quietly lies dreaming in bed

Wednesday decides that it won't come out to play

while Thursday says "I will only come when the sky is full of red"

Friday says "I would prefer to be Saturday"

and a quiet Sunday whispers softly "I'm going out to the store to buy some bread".

The Elijah Cup And Some Other News

Hello dear world

How are you ? I know its been a couple of days since you heard from me but here I am once again. Okay, okay, okay first things first.....This morning my family and I went to our Church in our neck of the woods which is named "St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church". We went to 9:00 a.m. mass which was nice. At the end of mass my family and I received what is known as The Elijah Cup. What is The Elijah Cup you may be wondering ? Well every couple of Sundays different people and families receive The Elijah Cup so that they can pray for people to have a vocation whether it be to the Priesthood or to the Religious Life. The Elijah Cup also comes with a journal in which anyone can enter a thought, prayer or Scripture verse.

I have to say dear world that vocation is defined as an occupation for which a person is particularly suited or a calling to a religious life. Dear world some people know automatically that they are interested in being either a teacher, doctor, painter, lawyer, banker, mentor or like those on American Idol, a singer. Some people know that they want to play a sport like Baseball, Football or Hockey professionally. Others simply know they want to go out for the Olympics. Others know they want to explore the Universe in space and some want to travel all over the world. For me I don't know. I can't say that I have any particular talents. Some people like Robert James Waller, Nora Roberts, John Scalzi, Hadonfield Myers, Margaret Wise Brown, R.Brimm and J.K. Rowling are writers with lots of talent.

Anywho.....I wanted to share a little news with you. A few days ago a friend of mine sent me a package in the mail. The package included a letter and a book titled "Letters For Emily". I have to tell you dear world that there's nothing better than getting something in the mail from a friend. By the way my friend's name is Rebecca Anne. That's all I'm going to tell you for now because I will be sending her a letter in the mail as well so I don't want to give away all of the information.

In other news....today I watched "You've Got Mail" on DVD with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I also bought some brown coffee colored socks with the words "Tall, Decaf, Nonfat Latte" on them. I call them my "You've Got Mail" socks. During the movie I ate some Mayfield Birthday Cake ice-cream with chocolate syrup is that weird ????

I would also like to report that the conclusion of Masterpiece Theater's Jane Eyre is coming on tonight at 9:00 p.m. I told you about it recently in one of my other entries. Jane Eyre is one of my favorite classics of all time.

So my dear world what did you do today ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? Is there anything you wanted to share with me ??? I will certainly be talking to you again soon. Take care my dear world.

American Idol, Some News and The State of the Union

Hello dear world

How are you ? First things first....This evening I watched American Idol again which I must say is a guilty pleasure. Some of the guys on the show did really well singing and others well....you just had to wonder why they would go on the show. There was a woman at the end who seemed a little strange actually I thought she needed to seek professional help. You might also want to know that my favorite show "BONES" will be returning to Fox next week I can't wait.

Anywho...the other night I watched the President's State of the Union Speech. Here is a link if you want to read some little background ----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_the_Union_Address . I have to say that its quite clear that the troops won't be coming home anytime in the near future. Its also clear that the war in Iraq will go on as it always has. I don't think that anything will change since hearing his speech. Question my dear world: Why is it that everytime the President says something that the entire room has to clap afterward ? It was like watching a room full of people training a seal doing tricks for the very 1st time.

In other news I was catching up on my reading at J-land and I found out that I couldn't read Stevie's journal "-The Life of Ste-" I am wondering did I do something wrong ?

How is the weather in your neck of the woods dear world ? It has been bitterly cold here  in my neck of the woods. What's been going on in your part of the world ? I just thought I would pop in for a few minutes and say hello. That's about it for me its pretty late. So until then.

Ciao !!!!!!!!!!

Walden or Meme

Hello dear world

How are you ? I thought I would pop in for a little while. Chris over at inane thoughts and insane ramblings----> http://inanethoughtsandinsaneramblings.blogspot.com/ posed a very interesting question....."I have to wonder if the phenomenon of blogging is diluting the available pool of literary talent. Is blogging robbing us of the next great author ?" He also wrote "Twenty years ago, if someone wanted to write, they wrote. Whether on stone tablet, paper & pen, typewriter, or word processor, they wrote. His words got me to thinking which is probably never a good thing for me since I never make sense anyway.

Anywho....do you suppose my dear world that if Robert Louis Stevenson would have had a computer in which to blog that he would have written Treasure Island ? Perhaps even more my dear world that if Mary Shelley would have had access to a computer in which to blog that Frankenstein would have been born ? And what if Anne Frank would have had a computer in which to blog while she was in hiding in the Secret Annexe that she would have put words to paper at all ?? Just think what if Henry David Thoreau would have had a computer with him in which to blog, would he have written Walden ? or would he have done a little meme about "How To Build A Cabin ?" Or its possible that if Thoreau would have been distracted by blogging, maybe he would have written "101 Things To Do While Living Alone".

For me, writing in my journal/diary is an outlet. My thoughts are often scattered so I come here and write. I too have gotten feedback, encouragement and helpful advice and opinions. I try to write things that are in my head and simply as a little run down on my daily activities in my life. Sometimes I'm just plain silly.

I try to visit other people's blogs and journals so I can read how other people are doing in their lives, especially those people who take the time to come and visit me and give me the gift of their friendship. Chris also writes that "I believe it serves a great purpose. I just think that some great potential authors might never write that classic novel that is within them, because they are content to write in small doses on a blog."

I think that writers like Mary Shelley, Robert Louis Stevenson, Henry David Thoreau and Anne Frank even with blogs would have kept writing because blogs are both thought provoking and inspiring. I may still keep a handwritten journal but I am still in love with the blog.

What do you think dear world ??

A Masterpiece Theater Classic

Hello again dear world

How are you ? Its cold and raining here this evening in my neck of the woods but I am well. I wanted to share some news with you. A few minutes ago I was watching Masterpiece Theater on the Georgia Public Broadcast channel which showed "Jane Eyre" here is the link ----> http://www.gpb.org/ . The version I saw tonight was an old version which I enjoyed. An actress named Ruth Wilson played Jane Eyre, Toby Stephens played Edward Rochester. I have to say that Charlotte Bronte's 1847 love story is still an endearing classic to watch. I loved Toby Stephens as Mr. Rochester he really brought the character of Edward to life. I also liked Ruth Wilson as Jane she portrayed the character wonderfully. I liked the old version I saw tonight more than the new version much more. I have never seen this version on DVD I will have to hunt for this because I would like to see this again.

So my dear world what did you do today ? Are you a fan of the movie "Jane Eyre" as I am ? I do hope that your weekend was a nice one. We will have to talk again later. I just had to come and tell you about this wonderful movie I watched on Masterpiece Theater. There is nothing better than a old classic on a cold rainy evening such as this one.

By the way has any of you seen any funny commercials lately ? I have. I was watching a commercial this evening for a sleep aid called Rozerem which I thought was rather funny. Here is the link --> http://www.rozerem.com/ . Let me know what you think ?

That's about it for now. I shall leave you now. Sleep well everyone.

Sleep Well everyone.

Just A Quick Note

Hello dear world

How are you these days ? I'm doing well but it is rather cold here in my neck of the woods. I don't have much on my mind today besides silliness. Today I have been indoors keeping warm and toasty and out of the freezing outdoors. I have also been watching some television especially the food network. There were different restaurants competing in a steak championship which was wonderful. I am now hungry for a nice juicy tender ribeye steak just like the ones I saw on television. After the competition I watched the show "Throwdown With Bobby Flay" who was competing with another guy in making doughnuts which looked really good just like the steaks from the other show. I would love a ribeye and a doughnut for dessert right about now.

Well my dear world what are you up to ? I would also like to know how is the weather there in your neck of the woods ?

Here are a few links for you to look at

Talk to you later dear world. Byyyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!!!

A HOBBY OF MINE

Hello dear world

First things first how are you ? You might want to know that we didn't wake up to any snow just absolute cold, cold, cold, cold and more cold and the temperature is still dropping down down down down down down and down. I am happy to report that all of my fingers are still intact though ( sigh of relief from the peanut gallery ) .

Anywho....recently my dear world I have been reading one of my other favorite journals which is titled "In The Shadow Of The Iris" which I have to say is a must read journal if you haven't read it yet.....here is a link ---------> http://journals.aol.com/justaname4me2/InTheShadowOfTheIris/ . The wonderful writer of this journal inspired me to share a few words so here are my thoughts:

As you know by now dear world I often haunt the stacks of my favorite bookstore "Barnes & Noble". From my many many travels there I have picked up quite a few books along the way and they are all flooding both my room and a bookshelf that leans ever slightly against a wall in my bedroom. I have opened the covers of many of them and consumed them hour after hour and day after day and minute after minute on cold nights such as this one we are having in my neck of the woods. Many of the books I've read are classics written rather famously by such people as Robert James Waller, Hemingway, Kafka, Fitzgerald, Anne Rice, George Orwell, Nicholas Sparks, Charles Dickens, Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Ray Bradbury, Nora Roberts, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mattie J.T. Stepanek, C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, Elie Wiesel and many many more.

I have also devored many a poem by such poets as Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, Emily Dickinson, Edgar Lee Masters and Mr. Walt Whitman. I have also read various autobiographies of people as Robyn Miller, Anne Frank and many others. You might also be curious to know that I have gone through many different romance novels along the way simply for fun. My fingers also slipped between the pages of the lives of vampires, aristocrats, governesses as well as bikers who tore open bodices, bit the necks of women and of those who fell in love. I consumed them all. Many of the books I have read I can tell you now  have either fallen into baskets, or are teetering on the edge of shelves or stuffed like pigs in a blanket in my already crammed almost to the point of spontaneous explosion bookshelf.

Mainly I just had to share with you a little bit of myself. So my dear world is there any book you like quite a bit or is there a book somewhere you wish you hadn't picked up or bought ?

I guess that about wraps it up for me. I know that I probably have kept you long enough so until we talk again I will say.......

Happy Reading !!!!!!!!!

Some Thoughts & Good News

Hello dear world

How are you today ?? Where should I begin ?? Well I guess at the beginning right ??? duh !!!! Okay, okay, okay....

This morning began with yucky weather as well as another week at work for me. Now onto the really good news. I am proud to report that my oldest niece got accepted into a new school in a performing arts program. At the school she will be entering in August into a magnet program. I have to say that I am so very proud of her. She is a very smart, gregarious and beautiful young lady and me I'm so NOT  .

Anywho...my dear diary I do have to say that its been a rather cold evening here in my neck of the woods. I think tomorrow we might just wake up to everything covered in white powder at least I hope so. I wouldn't mind a couple of snow days.

By the way dear world....tonight American Idol started up again. I have to say that there were some really strange people who auditioned for the show. I wanted to be there to ask some of the people "Were you serious ??" My favorite singer Jewel was one of the judges which I thought was great. I can't wait until tomorrow to see who will audition for the show next. I am also happy to report that my other favorite show "Bones" will be returning once again to the fox network which is music to my ears. My favorite part of Bones is David Boreanaz who really makes Bones my favorite. I can't wait to see the show again.

Anywho......how was your day dear world ? What are you up to these days ? Is it cold in your neck of the woods ? I at least hope that your day was nice for you. That about does it for me. You probably have something to get back too so until then I will say

Byyyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!!!

Duty Free Shopping

Hello dear world

First things first....how are you today ? Well here I am again like clock work. I am quite happy to report that it was one of those really wonderful days.

My family and I went over to a place called Southlake Mall which is always fun. Through half of the store my oldest niece and I went through a couple of stores including Bath & Body Works. We went shopping in the store. I bought her some Cinnamon Bun Body Lotion and for myself I bought some Spicy Gingerbread Body Lotion and some Spicy Gingerbread Three In One Body Wash, Bubble Bath & Shampoo. Then my niece and I went to Sears which is also located in the mall. In Sears my family and I walked around. While we were in Sears I purchased my niece a purse she liked. While we were walking around Sears we were in a part of the store which sold t.v.'s, electronic equipment, music and movie DVD's. In the store I bought the movie "Love Actually" on DVD. Let me tell you dear world Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are both funny in the movie but in one part of the movie there's a guy who happens to be in love with his best friend's girlfriend and he isn't able to show it. The guy in the movie does express his feelings in a part of the movie which is my most favorite part of the movie.

Later on after the mall we stopped off at Dunkin Doughnuts where I got a delicious iced latte. I have to say that next to Starbucks Dunkin Doughnuts is the best place to get doughnuts and a great latte and a doughnut or two.

Once we got home I watched my DVD which I will add to my collection of movies I like. Later in the evening I watched the season premiere of "24" which is a must see show. I have to say that Kiefer Sutherland is the best part of the show. I have to also say that he deserves 20 academy awards for the show because he makes the entire show worth watching.

Anywho....did you know my dear world that certain parts of the world are being pummelled by snow and ice but the weather was pretty amazing in my neck of the woods. I can tell you that it was like Summer had arrived early and I certainly enjoyed it.

Enough about me and my day how was your day ? How are you holding up ? How is the weather in your neck of the woods ? By the way I don't know if I told you this but I will be off of work tomorrow. I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow basically I don't have any plans but I didn't have any plans today either. I hope your day was as nice as mine.

Before I say good night you might want to know that I have a picture of myself posted on MySpace. Its just an ordinary picture taken of me here is the link if you want to pop in and say hello ----------> www.myspace.com/southernmush .

That's all for now. I will talk to you later. Byyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes For January 13, 2007

Hello dear world

 First things first....

Junk Food Intake: Tons

Movies Watched: 3

Boyfriends: 0

Crushes: 1

So how was your day dear world ? My day was nice. Early this morning I watched "The Lake House". Later in the evening I watched "Under The Tuscan Sun" and then "Bridget Jones's Diary". I have to tell you that this morning I had a really great breakfast which consisted of a plate of Spanish hashbrowns, scrambled eggs w/cheese and a BLT sandwich. I am also happy to report that the weather today was pretty nice for a change.

In other news you will be interested to know that I did some housework. I have to tell you that it is important that you have paper towels on hand at all times you will certainly thank me for that little reminder. My dear world I'm sure you have wondered if I do any housework at all. I also coated some wood which was put on some windows we have in a basement/garage downstairs of our home with some wood finish. You might also want to know that wood finish will drip and it will start to bubble if you spend too much time putting it on any kind of wood.

I was thinking....I know my dear world that's never a good idea. I got to thinking Henry David Thoreau must have had his hands full with hour upon hour of housework when he went to live alone for a time in a cabin on Walden Pond. Do you think there was a Home Depot or a Lowe's or any other kind of hardware store in his neck of the woods ??? Do you suppose he went to any such store ???? I just was wondering.

Anywho.....what did you do today ? How was your Saturday ? Did you do any housework ? I hope that all is well in your neck of the woods ? By the way you might want to know that I will be off of work on Monday so this will be a long weekend for me. I hope you have a really nice weekend. I will let you know how the rest of my weekend goes later. I will certainly be in touch.

Take care my dear world.....Sleep Well !!!!!!!!!

Some Personal Notes And Some Jeff Gordon......

Hello dear world

How are you ? It was another day of work for me yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah. It was also another cold day in my neck of the woods. How is the weather where you are ?

In other news I am happy to report that I bought a Jeff Gordon NASCAR race hat which I love. As you already know I am a huge fan of Jeff Gordon. Here is a link if you would like to view some information ------> http://www.jeffgordon.com/ . I think that he's a really great race car driver and I also think that he's a really nice looking guy. I do have quite a few Jeff Gordon items such as : a Jeff Gordon race hat, Jeff Gordon beach towel, Jeff Gordon throw, Jeff Gordon Christmas ornament and a Jeff Gordon bobble head. As you can tell I'm a fan.

On a different note there is a guy at my work and I have to be honest with you I have a crush on him. He recently started at the place that I work at. While I was working on the floor he works on I was wearing my Jeff Gordon race hat. We got to talking and he asked me who my favorite race car driver is obviously from the hat he knew the answer but I played along so I told him Jeff Gordon. We also got to talking about the Atlanta Motor Speedway.....here is a link for you to look at -------> http://www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/ . He told me that he would like to go there.

My dear world today I've been thinking out loud quite a bit so I will make a note here in my journal/diary.....NOTE TO SELF: Stop thinking out loud by referring back to my journal/diary. Once again.....NOTE TO SELF: Note Recorded. I know my dear world I'm a bit silly.

Enough about me. How are you my dear world how are things with you ? How was your day in your neck of the woods ? I hope that life is treating you well. That about covers it. I will talk to you again soon.

Have a great weekend !!!!!!!!!!!

IT'S ALMOST FRIDAY YEAH !!!!!!!

Hello dear world

How are you ?? I know that you haven't heard from me in a few days but its been a long couple of days of work for me all eight (8) hour shifts but here I am. As a note I was informed that its National De-Lurking Week. I would cordially like to invite anyone and everyone to pop in to my journal, introduce yourself and if you have a journal / blog please feel free to leave me a message and your link so I can come over and say hello to you as well.

Anywho my dear world I last night I listened to the President's speech as he discussed a new strategy for Iraq and I have to say that I don't know if this plan will work or not in the long run. I read in the newspaper that the war in Iraq has cost the lives of more than 3,000 members of the U.S. Military. I think that with this continued war in Iraq that the world is in something of a crisis and I am not sure if a resolution will come soon. In thinking about all of what I have seen on television and read in the news it would be nice if we could seek as a nation a nonviolent conflict resolution but I know that's just not at all possible. I just don't have any answers to a solution to the war. I just hope that things in Iraq turn around so that the troops are able to return home sometime soon. I don't really know if things will change there but I hope that all turns out in the end. I also hope that the President's plan will work out for all involved. As Mattie J.T. Stepanek once wrote:

"There are lessons to be learned from successful endeavors, there are lessons to be learned from concepts that did not work, and there are lessons to be learned from the people who are in the desperate situations of poverty and war and other injustices."

Hope is a present

of future each day,

A voice from our heart

To show us the way.

----------------------- Excerpt from "About Hope", May 21,2003 -Mattie J.T. Stepanek.

On a more different note on my way home from work I stopped off at a place called called "Rocky's Pizza & Sub Shop" here is a link --------> http://local.yahoo.com/ga/jonesboro/Food+Dining/Pizza/ . The place is located on a street called Tara Blvd. & Highway 138. The phone number is (770) 478-2620. I got some food to take home for dinner. I had a sub called a Jumbo Rocky's Italian which was good. I would have liked to have gotten a Greek Pizza or a Pizza Steak & Cheese Sub though. I can tell you that tonight was my very 1st time going there. I'm sure that I will be going back to Rocky's sometime soon. I am thinking that my coworkers and I should go to Lunch there one of these days. You might also like to know that they have a Spaghetti Dinner, a baked Spaghetti and Lasagna. For dessert they have a cheesecake, a chocolate cake and a carrot cake. I definitely would like to try their Spaghetti Dinner. I have to say that the food was good and I am looking forward to going back.

So my dear world how was your day ? What have you been up to ? How is the weather in your neck of the woods ? Its been pretty cold here in Georgia and the wind has certainly been icy these last couple of days. I am longing more than anything my dear world for Summertime. If Summer doesn't come soon all of my fingers will probably fall off due to frostbite.

Well that's about it for me....I will talk to you again. You probably didn't notice my absence but I didn't forget about you my dear friends.

Good-night all. Sweet Dreams !!!!!!!!!!!

A Really Nice Day

Hello dear world

How are you ? Before I begin let me say that my entry today won't be thought-provoking or filled with wit but I hope you my dear world will get something out of it. Anyway....it was a really wonderful day in my neck of the woods. The weather was perfect it almost seemed like Summer had arrived early.

Today my family and I went over to a great place that we visit from time to time called "Hobby Lobby". I bought some really cute stickers, a couple of journals that I will be writing in right after I finish the one that I'm writing in now. I also purchased some items for my mother such as some scrapbook papers which she likes. Here is the site for the store --------------> http://www.hobbylobby.com

In other news recently I had asked the question: Do astronauts take baths in space ? That question got me to wondering another question: What do astronauts eat in space ? Well my dear world while I was out I bought some packages of freeze-dried ice cream. I read on the package that astronauts eat freeze-dried ice cream as a snack. Here are some links for you to check out ----------> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronaut_ice_cream and ----------> http://www.nasa.gov/ . Question dear world: Would you ever want to go into space ?

Last but not least I watched a movie earlier tonight called "Step Up" which was a wonderful movie. The movie stars Channing Tatum who plays a character named Tyler Gage. I have to say dear world that Channing is a very nice looking guy as well as being a very talented actor. The movie is a drama/love story. The movie also has some dancing through the movie. Have you seen any movies lately ? Here is a link --------> http://myspace.com/stepupmovie

That's about it for me. Did you miss me at all ???

Byyyyyye for now. Sweet Dreams.

Some Notes And The Unexplained

Hello dear world

Good evening.....How are you ? The holidays are officially over so it was back to work for me and it was work, work, work all day but a lot of the people are great so its good. My boss is still pretty cool he's a pretty funny guy so all's well on the work front.

In other news.....earlier this evening its highly likely that I lost some brain cells and I'm probably functioning on less of my brainwave due to the fact that I watched "Gilmore Girls" why ??? I have no idea. Here is a link if you want to see some info on the show ---------> http://www.cwtv.com/shows/gilmore-girls .

On a more strange note on November 7th United Airline employees swear they saw a mysterious saucer shaped craft hovering over O'Hare Airport. Some of the workers and some of the pilots, said, the object didn't have lights and hovered over a terminal before shooting up through the clouds, according to a report in Monday's Chicago Tribune.

The Federal Aviation Administration acknowledged that a United supervisor had called The Control Tower at O'Hare, asking whether anyone had spotted a spinning disc-shaped object. The controllers hadn't, and a check of radar found nothing unusual, FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said "Our theory on it is that it was a weather phenomenon." FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said the FAA is not investigating. United spokeswoman Megan McCarthy said company officials don't recall discussing any such incident from November 7th.

My dear world I suspect that E.T. didn't want to land at the airport because he didn't want to have his mouthwash checked at the security gate or perhaps he wanted to stop somewhere he could get a tan. What do you think dear world ??

Anywho.....how are things in your neck of the woods ? Have you heard any strange things happening in your part of the world ?? Any UFO's flying in your skies ?????

That's about it for me.....beam me up Scottie

A New Year's Day To Remember

Hello dear world

How are you ? Well dear world its a whole new year. My family and I had a New Year's dinner which consisted of greens, candied yams, black eyed peas, macaroni-n-cheese, corn, rice, potato salad, roast, chicken and of course corn muffins. For dessert we had pumpkin pie. It was another great holiday with my family.

People in my neighborhood did some fireworks outside which I guess was some people doing some celebrating one final time. The holiday is quickly coming to an end dear world. I spent quite a bit of time with my family as usual. Yesterday was quite nice as well being with my family. We watched the ball drop in Times Square on television and then we watched the Peach drop in Underground Atlanta on television which is a tradition of ours. My mom and dad had champagne and my nieces and I had sparkling white grape juice which they enjoyed.

How was your New Year's dear world ? How did you celebrate the occasion ? Did you go out anywhere ? I hope you had a really memorable and wonderful New Year's Eve. I would like to wish each and everyone one of you my dear friends a very special and glorious

"HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!"

Did I learn anything ??? I got nothing
