Hello everyone
Good evening to you all. How is everyone ?? It was a wet, drizzling and then rainy day in my neck of the woods. It was also another day at work for me.
Hint To You Guys -----> You may not want to read this : Earlier today on the 4th floor at my work there was a guy that works at a bottled water company and he was delivering water bottles to my work. He was in the hallway and I thought that he was a nice looking guy and so I said hello to him and joked around with him as we both walked down the hall together. Before he got on the elevator I told him good bye and the utter silliness of it all I totally forgot to ask him his name or even to ask for his phone number. He totally had a great sense of humor, a really nice smile and I really thought that he was a totally great guy. After all was said and done I wish that I would have asked him his name especially duh !!!!! Am I silly or what ?????
In other news as some of you might not know I will be going out of town with my family to a camping trip that begins on Saturday which is the day we will be leaving. We will be going to a place called Indian Pass Campground in which we have NEVER been to before. I am NOT fully packed yet and knowing me I will probably wait until the very last minute to pack my bag completely. I will be gone for the entire week and I will return next Sunday but I don't know what time. DO NOT WORRY I SHALL RETURN !!!!!! Here is a link to the campground ----> http://www.indianpasscamp.com/
You might also want to know that I am still reading the book "NORTHERN LIGHTS" by Nora Roberts. It is a good book but the thing is I did see the movie and I have to say that there is more in the book than there was in the movie....why is that ???? I wish that the movie would have included some of the stuff that was in the book. I think that too much of the book was left out of the movie that would have made it much more better. Nora Roberts should go back and read her book and see that the movie failed in a way to live up to the book that I enjoyed more. The movie I give a score of : 4
Take care everyone

Some News....
Hello everyone
Good evening all !!!!!!!! How is everyone ? I have quite a bit of news for you. It was raining buckets in my neck of the woods but here I am. On Friday my folks and I drove to the DeKalb Farmers Market which is a store where there are foods from all over the world and people from all over the world. Anywho....I ended up buying some crawfish, some salmon and my most favorite things of all which included : some goat cheese with herbs, some brie cheese and $58.19 worth of soft shell crab which I have to say is my favorite thing to eat. My mom and I and my niece's ended up getting dessert's from the bakery before we left. We also got a cookies-n-cream cake which is pretty good from the market.
After the Farmers Market we went to Blockbuster Video where we youngest niece Megan wanted a movie and I ended up buying the movie "TWILIGHT" which I haven't seen yet.
Later in the evening my dad and I went to Walmart where we got some chairs which we took with us to Athens yesterday for my niece Megan's swim meet. I also purchased the book "Northern Lights" by Nora Roberts. I saw the movie on Lifetime and so I wanted to read the book since I really liked the movie. I also purchased the book "A Single Thread" by Marie Bostwick which I have NOT read yet. I am reading "Northern Lights" which is a pretty good book.
On Saturday it was another rainy wet day. We did go to Athens for my niece Megan's swim meet at Georgia State University. She did swim pretty good but she has to work on her diving. There were a lot of swimmer's at the event and a lot of people were there enjoying the swim meet.
In the book "Northern Lights" there is a guy in the book named Nate Burke and he accepts the job as chief of police in the tiny remote Alaskan town of Lunacy. He has met some of the people in the town and he is learning his way around. I haven't read the rest yet. I will have to let you know how the rest of the story goes.
After the swim meet I treated my family to dinner at the Olive Garden which is like going on a trip to Italy. My mom and I ordered the Limoncello Lemonade which is always good. I had the grilled shrimp caprese which was very very good. I also had some zeppoli with my oldest niece which is Italian doughnuts with a side of chocolate sauce which was very good. We had a great time at the Olive Garden.
Today we just hung at the house. So my dear world how was your weekend ?? I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I am looking forward to my camping trip in April with my family. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again later.
Good-night

Spring, Twilight, Confessions....
Hello everyone !!!!!!!
Well its me again and here I am. I am going to do a little bit of an entry like that of my friend Jon of Lone Star Concerto sorry Jon.
Anywho....I can't say that I am fearless a lot of things frighten me let's see : sharks, spiders, walking into a spider web, bears, jellyfish and talking to guys face to face. I won't get into any kind of politics because no one will want to read this.
So Spring is definitely definitely here in Atlanta, Georgia along with the yellow icky sneezy stuffed up nose, coughing, aching you can't hardly sleep at night pollen. I hate the pollen for obvious reasons. I do like the flowers blooming and all but the pollen is absolutely dreadful and I mean dreadful. I can't stand the pollen being everywhere and on the bottom of my shoes and on cars and on the ground and on cars and on my clothes. You get the point.
On the other subject I am wanting to see the movie "Twilight" which I have NOT seen as yet. I am hoping that I will be able to buy the movie pretty soon. I would like to know if anyone has NOT seen it yet besides me. I can't wait the see the movie from start to finish and I am hoping that it will be as good as I have heard.
Confession wise I am looking forward to my camping trip in April to Florida which I am sure will be fun. I can't wait to get back on the road with my folks and my niece's and enjoy our trip. I haven't been camping in quite a while so hopefully there will be lots of things to see and do and hopefully lots of nice weather.
Last but not least I have to say that my job is getting to be a royal pain royally. Our supplies are having to be down since we have heard that the budget is a mess and there is no money for our supplies as much. I don't know if its this economy or if the money is being spent unwisely and going into someone's pocket. We will also have a mandatory meeting at work on Monday and there will be some discussion which probably won't be fun.
So what's the point of all this ??? Where am I taking you all ? Well obviously I am afraid of certain things, The weather is wonderful except the pollen, for obvious reasons, I can't wait to see the movie "Twilight" and my job is a royal pain at the moment and I can't wait to go camping in Florida and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
I do have to say that I appreciate all of the comments I receive from all of you who visit. I appreciate the input and getting to know people that I have met from blogging and what have you. I appreciate all of the kindness you all have shared with me and I hope to continue to get to know more and more about all of you who visit me here.
Once again I have spoken a little too much and I can't wait to see who will find something interesting in what I have shared. Take care everyone.
Jon, I hope you don't mind that I took some inspiration from your entry and no you need to share more and we need to hear more and more and more and more from you. Keep us posted Jon !!!!!!!! You can find his blog here ------> http://lonestarconcerto.blogspot.com .

A Great Yard Sale....
Hello everyone
Good evening all !!!!!!! You might all want to know that my folks and I and my niece's had a yard sale at our house which turned out great. We had quite a turn out at the yard sale. We put quite a few things out and yes I also sold a lot of my books which was hard for me. I also sold some of my purse's. The people that showed up really liked our price's which were low, low, low. We were cleaning out our garage and so we decided to have a yard sale. Some of the people came back quite a few times to get even more stuff that they wanted. They joked with us and they enjoyed our yard sale. They wanted to know when we would be having another one.
The weather in our neck of the woods was quite nice. The morning was a little cool but by the afternoon it warmed up quite a bit. I have to tell you that I did start reading a book by a writer I have never read before. The other book I had started I didn't really like so I had bought the book "The Friday Night Knitting Club" by the writer Kate Jacobs. The book is about a group of women of different personalities who meet at a little yarn shop on Manhattan's Upper West Side. They surprise themselves by forming a unbreakable bond of friendship. I can't say that I knit or even sew for that matter but the book is quite good. It is a really great story and I am enjoying it. You must check out her website -----> http://www.katejacobs.com/
I must say that I can't wait until my camping trip in April I am looking forward to going back to Florida to Indian Pass Campground. I can't wait to go camping again and I am sure that it will be fun. I just hope that the weather will be nice for our trip. We will be taking our pop-up camper that we have.
So my dear world how was your Saturday ?? I do hope that you had just as nice a day as I did. How are things in your neck of the woods ??? Do keep me posted and let me know how you are doing. I'll talk to you again soon. Pretty soon I will once again be packing up my travel bag for our trip which is a lot of work for me.
Anwho......take care everyone

A Need To Vent....
Hello everyone
I am sorry to say this but I am in a rather agitated mood right about now. I am in the middle of reading a book and I won't mention the title of it but I am getting rather upset at the book. At the moment I am about ready to throw it upside the wall and rip all of its pages out and throw it directly into the trash with yesterday's leftover's.
I hate to say this but when I am reading a book I would like a writer to get to the point without describing everything down to the very detail. I don't care how a wall looks or how a person is dressed. I especially don't care how a stove looks or how a writer will describe what a person is wearing down to the very point of a stiletto high heeled shoe. I am about to scream as I read the book. What is with writers these days ??? I just want to read a book without having to feel like I am reading some lengthy dissertation on a character, story or object in which they are writing about.
My other objection is putting words of another language in a book in which I do NOT speak or a name of a restaurant that I can't pronounce to save any amount of interest in the book that I may have. Why not make it easy for a reader to enjoy a book without making the reader involved feel like they want to rip out their hair at the very root ??????
I would like to write a few words to the writer and tell him or her exactly how I feel ??? I also feel like I would like to take the book right back where I bought it from and demand my money back from the writer instead of from the store in which I bought it.
Get to the point already writers !!!!!!!!!!
Sincerly, this very frustrated reader
Am I WRONG ???????????????

A Wonderful Day....And IKEA
Hello everyone
How is everyone this evening ?? I have to say that I had quite a long but wonderful day. First my folks and I took a trip down to Atlanta to find the IKEA place which we found. Let me tell you that the IKEA place is HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE. Here is the link for it -----> http://www.ikea.com/ . While we there we ended up finding a shelf for our kitchen which my mom and I assembled ourselves. We also got ourselves some towels and we each picked the color we wanted. Its a huge place to go shopping in.
After IKEA we ended up taking a ride to the VARSITY which has the greatest food in the entire world. I ended up having (2) chili cheese dog's and a side of onion rings and a frosted orange which is quite good. My niece's and I and my folks had a wonderful dinner there and me and my youngest niece and my dad got a ice cream cone after dinner. I can tell you that its alway fun to go there and eat. Here is the link for the place ----> http://www.thevarsity.com/ .
We arrived home a few hours ago. So how was your day today ? Did you do any shopping today ?? I hope that you had a wonderful Sunday and I hoped that you all enjoyed your weekend. It is still damp and cool here in my neck of the woods of Riverdale, Georgia. We have been getting some rain for a little while. All in all we enjoyed our weekend. Tomorrow I have to head back to work and hopefully you will have a great week ahead.
Take care everyone !!!

A Wonderful Spectacular Day.....
Hello everyone !!!!!!
How is everyone today ?? I hope you are all well and getting along. I had to come by and share my day with you. I did sleep in late today which was nice. Later in the evening I treated my folks and my nieces out to eat at Ruby Tuesday which was good. I had a petite sirloin which was really really really good. I also had a very tasty Mojito drink with a stick of sugarcane in my drink which was quite good. All of our food was quite good.
The very best part of my day was when we took a ride down to Griffin, Georgia so my folks could go to a store called Bealls Outlet. A few stores down I found a bookstore that I just LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVED !!!!!!!!!!!!! The bookstore was named BOOKLAND which is located at this address --------> 1635 North Expressway in Griffin, Georgia. The telephone number is 770-229-1974. BOOKLAND has every book imaginable under one roof from biographies, science fiction, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, mysteries to self help. I spent the entire time looking from shelf to shelf to rows to rows picking out books that I wanted to purchase. I ended up getting some books that I wanted to read including : "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield, "Step On A Crack" by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge, "The Secret History of The Pink Carnation" by Lauren Willig. I am still reading "Eat Pray Love" which is pretty good. I can't wait to start on my new books. The place was even better than my favorite Barnes and Noble. I think I will have to go there soon and get more books.
So how was your day ? Did it rain any in your neck of the woods ? I do hope that you had just as wonderful a Saturday as I had. I just wanted to let you know that I am getting better and yes I am recovering from my illness quite well. Anywho I just wanted to come by and share my day with you all.
Do enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Just A Note....
Hello everyone
Good evening !!!!!!!! How is everyone ? Today started another week at work for me. The weather in my neck of the woods has been quite wonderful to say the least. It felt like Summertime and it was quite nice. I am working on getting better but it will probably take some time for me.
Anywho...I did finish reading "The Death Dealer" and I have to say that it was a very good book and I highly recommend it. I am about to start reading "The Chocolate Lover's Club" by the writer Carole Matthews. I can't wait to get started reading it. It sounds like my kind of book. I will have to let you know how it is.
How are things in your neck of the woods ?? Are you reading any books lately ??? I would like to know what you are reading these days ????
Take care

A Great Day....
Hello everyone
Good evening !!!!!!! I had a really great day today. I got out of the house today which I haven't done since I have been sick. It was really nice outside in my neck of the woods. The weather was quite nice and I enjoyed it.
My folks and I and my niece's went to Target where I picked up (2) new books titled "The Chocolate Lover's Club" by Carole Matthews and "Very Valentine" by Adriana Trigiani. At the moment I am still reading "The Death Dealer".
The Death Dealer is about a woman named Genevieve O'Brien who hires a Private Investigator named Joe Connolly to investigate the murder of Thorne Bigelow who is a member of "The Ravens" which is a group of the New York Poe Society. The book is centered around a serial killer who is fixated on Edgar Allan Poe who is stalking New York City. Gen's mother is also a member of The Ravens. Joe is initially reluctant to take the case. However because of Gen he takes the case and his psychic ability comes in handy when he starts checking out The Ravens whose numbers are dwindling fast.
Anywho....after Target I treated my family to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant called "La Parrilla" which is really good. I had a chicken quesadilla with a side of avocado's. After dinner I ordered a Kaluha sopapilla which consisted of sopapilla's drenched with Kaluha liquor and topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream which was really good.
I do have to tell you that earlier today my mother and I watched the movie "Changeling" with Angelina Jolie which I and my mother enjoyed. The movie was quite good from start to finish. I have to recommend this movie as a must see movie. I also think that John Malkovich deserves an award for his performance in the movie. I didn't think I was going to like it but I did enjoy the movie. I think that it was sad but well worth watching.
So how was your day my dear world ?? I do hope that all was well with you. Did you do any shopping today ?? Keep me posted

I'm Here....
Hello everyone
Good evening. I wanted to come by and let you know that I am here. I am sick once again with some swelling in my back due to muscle spasms that have made me ill with pain in my lower back. However I am trying to get better.
Anywho...I am here. I have to tell you that I am still reading a few books that have been quite interesting. I finished reading "Run For Your Life" by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge which was a very very interesting and great book. I highly recommend this book as a must read. At the moment I am reading "The Death Dealer" by the writer Heather Graham. So far it is pretty good.
So my dear world how are things with you all. I do hope that things are well with you. The weather here in Atlanta, Georgia has been rather nice. I have been resting at home and so far I am working on getting some rest. I do hope that you will keep me posted on how things are in your part of the world.
Good-night !!!!!!!!!
