Trick - Or - Treat Through J-Land

Hello dear world

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE !!!!!!!!

Good evening....its All Hallows Eve and all of the ghosts and goblins are gathering close and so I thought I would come and join you.

You might not know this but I am a very mischievous person and let me explain why...today was another day at work for me and let me tell you what I did. Before I left for work this morning I placed some scar tissue stickers on different areas of my face for Halloween and do you know what happened ???

Well, a lot of people walked up to me and asked me if I had been in an accident and at first I just laughed but I had told them the truth that it was for Halloween. They all told me that the stickers really looked real which even my coworkers agreed until they had seen up close that they weren't real. Many of the people at my work had came up to me with a scared look on their faces so I made sure to immediately tell them the truth about the stickers not being real. I also had some band-aids on my face so many of the people at work were curious to know if I was alright. Quite a bit of people who were in the hallways didn't come up to me they just stared with this weird look on their faces. Later in the afternoon at lunch time I went to a thrift store with my coworkers when I saw a young boy who came up close and I could tell that he was looking at my face. I kept looking down so he couldn't see my entire face. He then walked to the other side of me so he could try to get a better look which I never gave him a chance to see my face as I pretended to be looking at something. There were also some women in the store who didn't come up to me they just stared at me as I walked through the store. You could tell that the women were thinking something and perhaps wondering about what I had on my face.

Once my coworkers and I left the store we went to a gas station where I purchased a few items like some chips and a bottle of soda and I can tell you that there was a male cashier who rang me up who also looked at my face in a very strange way but he never said anything. Then after we left the store we got back to our work.

Once we got back to work a lot of people were curious to ask me if something had happened to me but my coworkers and I made up different stories to what happened to me. The entire day was funny from start to finish. I really did enjoy my Halloween at work.

At the moment I am home alone since my sister took my nieces out trick-or-treating at one of her friends house. I didn't really feel like going so I let them go and enjoy their time. My oldest niece said she would bring me back some candy though so I am sure they will enjoy their Halloween. All in all I am having a wonderful quiet night at home.

How was your Halloween today my dear world ?? Do you have any plans for the evening ??? I do hope that you have a wonderfully fun and memorable Halloween. Do join me again for another visit.

Perhaps you won't run into any ghosts or goblins or a werewolf in your travels today.

Good - Night and don't forget to Trick - Or - Treat Through J-Land

You sure had a fun day Monae.  Over here in the UK  we don't celebrate Halloween in just such a way. It is very much quieter. The children do go trick and treating..or at least some do. I didn't see or hear any around where I live as it is very quiet. My church was having a childrens LIGHT party  so maybe there was a lot of them there. I hope they had a nice peaceful time.  Mind you I was in town yesterday (BATH) and I think that your way of celebrating is comming over here as I saw much more haloween things in shops etc. than I have ever seen before.   Hope your niece brought you some candy home.  SYBIL

Halloween is becoming as commercial here as it is in the States. Would you all care to share one of our holdays, which is Guyfawkes night? We make an effiggee of Guy Fawkes, he tried to blow up Parliament, we then burn him on huge bonfires around the country and set off fireworks or go to public displays. We then have huge BBQ's and stuff our faces with baked potatoes, sausages, etc. It all happens on Novemeber 5th.

Wow..sounds like you learned more about what it is like to have a fcial disfigurement than you did about a Halloween trick.
Maybe it was a little TOO real!
Have a good day.
