Some News....

Hello dear world

How are you ? I thought I would come and share some news with you. I do hope your day was a nice one. Of course it was another day at work for me and my coworkers..... Its Friday however. Did you have to work today my dear world ?

On a more different note a little after 2:00 this afternoon my coworkers and I went up to the main headquarters of our work for a reception that was held for one of my coworkers. My coworkers name is H------. The reason for the reception was because H--------- is retiring from his job at the courthouse because of his health.

Anywho....he was able to make it to the reception with his family which included a new granddaughter that he adores more than anything. My other coworkers and I plan to have a little something for him at our building next Thursday. A lot of people in the building including ourselves wanted to do something nice for him. I do hope he gets to feeling better. One of my other coworkers and I had noticed that he had lot a little bit of weight since he has been on sick leave. I can tell you that he hasn't changed any. He is still a huge fan of the Atlanta Falcons since I've known him. It was nice to see him.

In other news a little while earlier my mom and I and my youngest niece went to Blockbuster video to bring back some movies we had rented previously. While we were at Blockbuster we did get some totally new movies. The movies we rented :

Disappearances with Kris Krrisstofferson

Hidden Places with Shirley Jones

1408 with John Cusack

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer

My mom and I did watch 1408 which wasn't as scary as thought. It was more of a twilight zone episode than it was horror flick. We also saw Hidden Places which was a wonderful love story. After we went to Blockbester my mom and I and my youngest niece went to Dairy Queen. I ended up getting a extreme chocolate blizzard. My niece Megan got a hamburger and my mom got a banana split.

All in all it was a wonderful day in Georgia. I hope that this wonderful weather continues throughout the weekend that will be nice. That's about it for me my dear world.

Enjoy your weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't this weather spectaular???
The nights are getting a little too cool for me but yesterday was BEEYOOTEEFULL>

Hope your co-worker who is retiring does okay. hopefully, retiring will be what he needs to get back to health and he can visit with that granddaughter who he loves so much. And he can watch a lot of football! it's so nice of you to want to do something for him.

The  movies sound good. I watched a few of those 50's classics that I like on TCM. Ovtober is the best month for movies for me....all scary, all the time! The new ones are nothing but CGI and big orange explosions. I did like  The Grudge.

Mmmmm Dairy Queen sounds good but I went to IHOP yesterday.
Now, THAT was yummy!
Have a good weekend! Don't get into any trouble!
