Hello dear world
Good evening !!!!!!! How is everyone today ???? I am doing quite well today thank you. I want to thank everyone for the kind thoughts and comments you all sent me I appreciated them. I did NOT talk to that guy at work that doesn't want to talk to me and he did NOT talk to me so that's nothing. I will NOT change for anyone. I will remain the sweet person that I am.
Anywho....Yes today was another day at work for me and it was also a very COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD day in my neck of the woods. I really can't wait until summer.
On to my NEW NEWS...You will be happy to know that earlier this evening after I got home my mom and I drove to the Clayton County Police Department where I started for the very first time a class called "Citizens Police Academy Training" . My mom however started class last week and I started this week. You might want to know that I got picked to stand up in front of the class as well as a gentleman who is also in the class. We were asked to put on some goggles in which simulates people who are drunk and it shows how hard it is to do a sobriety test when you are heavily under the influence of alcohol. You might want to know that with the goggles on I failed my sobriety test miserably. At the end of the year I will be graduating which I can't wait. I think that this class will be fun and we might even get the chance to ride around in a police car with police officers as they work which sounds like fun. We will also be doing a Narcotics class pretty soon so I will be busy with class pretty soon. Can you imagine that I am taking a class ? I have a lot to learn though so I have to get into class and start listening. We also have lectures to listen to and we have to ask questions and we have to take notes. Tonight was fun. Before we left my mom tried out the radar gun which was hard since it was so cold outside.
So how was your day my dear world ? Was it as cold in your neck of the woods ? If there's any sunshine in your part of the world you might want to send some of it to me hint,hint,hint,hint,hint. I just had to share my news with you. That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again later.

Sounds like an interesting class but stay away from the narcotics and the donut shops they may take you too.

Goodness you did have a busy day. That sounds fun doing the Citizens Training....once you have done the course ...and passed which you will of course...Will you have to then assist in Police duties ? sounds as if you might. We have community Police here they do that .They are not exactly Police but like them they can make arrests etc. if needed. They are mostly used in towns and village where the Police have other things to do. Hpe you get a bit warmer weather soon

The class sounds interesting. We don't have things like that in the UK. Do you get anything at the end? Honourary police officer status perhaps?

Your class sounds like fun! I've always wanted to ride with a police officer while he works....it would be exciting!

that does sound interesting. they offer a simialr class here and I would like to take it. I'm sure cops see very interesting things get to deal with charming loveable poeple all day long..........

I live in Florida and there's sunshine here today. Yesterday was a different story though. We had severe thunderstorm, flooding and tornado watch until around midnight last night.
