Hello dear world
Good evening. How is everyone today ? I am sorry for not coming to talk to you yesterday but I will explain why in a minute. As you know yesterday was another day at work for me and a little bit before we were supposed to get off of work we started getting snow flurries at work so my supervisor told us that we could leave work early. I got home early and my nieces spent some time outside playing with the little snow we did get in our front yard.
Today was another day at work for me but we didn't have any snow flurries. It was much colder today than it was yesterday. I do want to thank you all for all of your kind thoughts about all that has happened at work concerning my coworkers. I am feeling better today. You might want to know that yesterday I picked up some cards for my coworker who lost his wife and I already filled up ( 2 ) cards with signatures of the people at our work and I have gotten donations for him at work. People have wanted to give a few donations for him so I have gotten quite a bit of donations for him which I'm sure he will find helpful.
Today was our pay day at work and he came in to get his regular check we haven't given him the cards or anything yet we still have some people who want to sign the card. He was still pretty upset but he said that he thanks us for all that we have done for him since we told him we had gotten him a card.
In other news.....
I hate to say it but I have NOT been watching "American Idol " I just haven't been into this time. I have been watching my movie "Harlequin's Diamond Girl" which I like.
Of course you might also want to know that I started eating baked potato chips instead of regular chips but its the only healthy thing I am doing. I can't give up my chocolate though or my coffee drinking.
So how are you and how are things in your part of the world ?? Did you get any snow flurries in your area perhaps ?? or just cold ?? If you had sunshine I don't want to know....just kidding.
Anywho...that's all for now. Once again I am sorry for not coming to talk to you yesterday the weather kept me seeking warmth and the bed yesterday evening. I do have to go and catch up on my journal reading so

I'm glad your coworker is doing ok. Nice of you to get the cards and do the collection for him.

Keep a watch out for the weather on Friday night and
Saturday morning. More white stuff headed our way. Cold temps to go along with it. That was nice to get a card and take up a collection for your co-worker. I am sure he will appreacite it very much. Helen

You sure are a thoughful woman Monae. Thank you for being like that. It is very very wet over here at the moment with lots of flooding. Thankfully I am quite a bit higher up from the wee brook that has burst it's banks so no fear of me being flooded. Have a great weekend Love Sybil xx

I have been away for a while....so sorry to hear that one of your co-workers has lost his wife....so very sad. I have never gotten into American Idol I just think it's mean the way they let some very untalented people go through the process only to be made fun of in the end. I knew a woman and her son went there to audtion last year and they have to do many auditions before they ever meet the "real judges" so you know they only let some through to make fools of themselves. I think that's very wrong. I could never give up my coffee and I too am having a hard time giving up on chocolate...oh well.....I hope you have a good weekend...June:)

We don`t ever seem to get smow anymore Monae, all it seems to do is pour with rain this last year. :o(
