Its Thursday and New News....

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!!! How is everyone today ???? I am doing quite well today thank you. I want to thank everyone for the kind thoughts and comments you all sent me I appreciated them. I did NOT talk to that guy at work that doesn't want to talk to me and he did NOT talk to me so that's nothing. I will NOT change for anyone. I will remain the sweet person that I am.

Anywho....Yes today was another day at work for me and it was also a very COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD day in my neck of the woods. I really can't wait until summer.

On to my NEW NEWS...You will be happy to know that earlier this evening after I got home my mom and I drove to the Clayton County Police Department where I started for the very first time a class called "Citizens Police Academy Training" . My mom however started class last week and I started this week. You might want to know that I got picked to stand up in front of the class as well as a gentleman who is also in the class. We were asked to put on some goggles in which simulates people who are drunk and it shows how hard it is to do a sobriety test when you are heavily under the influence of alcohol. You might want to know that with the goggles on I failed my sobriety test miserably. At the end of the year I will be graduating which I can't wait. I think that this class will be fun and we might even get the chance to ride around in a police car with police officers as they work which sounds like fun. We will also be doing a Narcotics class pretty soon so I will be busy with class pretty soon. Can you imagine that I am taking a class ? I have a lot to learn though so I have to get into class and start listening. We also have lectures to listen to and we have to ask questions and we have to take notes. Tonight was fun. Before we left my mom tried out the radar gun which was hard since it was so cold outside.

Update For Wednesday

How are you ?? I'm back !!!!! Did you miss me ???? I missed you all very much.

Well its time for my news. Yesterday it was quite windy in my neck of the woods and it also rained yesterday late in the evening.

Today it was just cold in my neck of the woods and I am LONGING for SUMMER. I do have some news for you. Today was another day at work for me and yes I stayed busy all day.

On a totally more upsetting note someone at my work that my coworkers talk to and joke around with said something that upset me today. What started it all was the fact that I went and said hello to him and talked to him which to him was wrong. Apparently he made it a point to let me know that he doesn't want me to talk to him anymore. From time to time we have joked around with each other and he always seemed to like me coming to talk to him. It seems that today all of that changed. I don't know my dear world. It just seems a shame that the person feels the way that they feel because I thought the person liked talking to me. The worse part of it all is that I had to find out the truth from someone else. I just don't understand what I did to the person to have them not like me. 

Anywho......how was your day ? By the way did you hear that John Edwards dropped his bid for the Democratic nomination today. What do you think of that ? I do hope all is well in your part of the world. Before I go......are you waiting for Summer ???

Good evening how are you ? I was listening to a song a few minutes ago called "Dear Mr. President" by the singer Pink which I have to say I really liked. Pink had all good points in her song. Here is the link to it -------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eRApNHSRRk

In the song Pink says "Dear Mr. President" take a walk with me because she has some questions she would like to ask. I sure would have to agree with her on wanting to take a walk with the President.

I sure would like to ask him a few questions of my own about how he sleeps at night when our troops are still in Iraq and knowing a lot of them have died fighting for our country. I would also like to ask him how he sleeps at night when so many people can't even afford health care. I would also like to ask him about he can sleep at night when there is so many violence on the news every single night. I would also like to ask him how can he sleep at night when so many people in the world are going to bed crying.

I have to say that I would certainly like to take a walk with him and tell him about the things that have worried me about the world. I would also like to ask him the questions that I have thought about from time to time. I wonder if the President would ever take a walk with someone like me so I could tell him a few things.

Soon the President will be out of the White House and I will probably be left wondering about the things that the President could have done and maybe he could have answered to people such as myself. I just don't know if I am right or wrong but I just felt that Pink's song really got me to thinking about how I feel about different things.

A Movie And A Great Cause

Good afternoon how are you today ? I wanted to share a few things with you. Late last night I watched a very wonderful movie on the "Hallmark Channel" that I really enjoyed. Its a movie about getting a second chance at life.

Secondly, I wanted to point out a good cause that was pointed out to me by the wonderful lady Jeannette of Jeannette's Jottings . The cause is called "Free Rice" which is a vocabulary game and for each word you get right 20 grains of rice is donated through the United Nations to help feed the hungry. Do Please stop over and play this game for it is a good cause. I have already played it and donated rice will you ???

A Beginning To The Weekend

Hello dear world

Good afternoon how is everyone ? I am doing well today. I am feeling much better today and my spirits have been lifted. Thank you for all of your kind thoughts and comments they were appreciated.

I have to say that it has been a pretty nice Saturday in my neck of the woods. I awoke to the nice weather outside and lots of pretty good rest.

You will be happy to know that I had a wonderful breakfast with my family which consisted of scrambled eggs, biscuits, hashbrowns and a piece of sausage and a glass of orange juice. Breakfast is a must to get you going.

Before breakfast I did watch the movie "The Mirror Has Two Faces" once again with Barbara Streisand which I have to say that I found myself laughing and having a good time watching it. My mom also watched it with me since my dad took my oldest niece to her Piano lesson she takes over the weekend.

Anywho...I just finished visiting some of my favorite journals : Chosen Words by the writer/poet Mr. Brimm and one of my other favorite journals "The Wisdom of a Distracted Mind" which is a very interesting journal to read. If you have the chance you must visit these journals.

Hello dear world

Good evening all how are you ? You will be happy to know that the wet yucky weather is gone and it wasn't in the least bit cold outside today. However it was cold in certain parts of the building that I work in so I do wear a sweat shirt on and off throughout the day.

Anywho...I would like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Heath Ledger who passed away yesterday.

On the same note I thought I would come to you with a little bit of a heavy heart today and I will tell you why. As you know my coworker who lost her husband recently returned to work with my other coworkers and I and I have to say that it was an emotional day today. You might want to know that she is still dealing with the loss of her husband who she was married to for 39 years. She told my coworkers and I that her nerves were still shaky so I do wish that there was something I could have said to make her feel better.

Other people in the building that we work in have been coming up to us and have talked about the loved one(s) they have lost. It is quite sad to hear people talk about how they feel as they deal with the one they've lost. I never know the right thing to say when people talk about how they are affected by loss. I just don't know my dear world.

So my dear world how are things with you ? I don't want to make any of you sad I just wanted to come and share how I was feeling today with you. I do hope you are all well and that the world is treating you quite wonderfully.

A Wet Wet Wet Tuesday

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!! Is it Monday ??? No !!!!!! Its Tuesday yes Tuesday and yes its a wet wet day here in Atlanta, Georgia.

First I am sad to report that my favorite actor Heath Ledger is dead at the age of 28 which is really sad and I can't believe it. I became a fan of his in the movie "A Knight's Tale" . I still can't believe that its true.

Anywho...it was another start to another week at work for me but its a short week since I was off of work yesterday yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah.

I do have some news for you...my coworker that recently lost her husband is back to work with us which we were all happy about. You will be happy to know that she is doing well but she still misses him very much but she said she had to come back to work.

My other coworker who lost his wife in the same week did come to work to visit us. He is still pretty shook up about losing his wife but he is doing alright. He won't be back to work with us for a few more weeks but we told him to take his time and he shouldn't try to rush coming back.

On a different note I have to tell you that I apologized to my new supervisor who started with us a few months ago. From the very moment he started I was quite rough on him and I was treating him pretty roughly by acting like everything he said was wrong. Today I made sure to let him know that I was sorry for being so hard on him. I wasn't quite sure about him but he has shown in a lot of ways that he wasn't as I had thought he was. I can tell you that he is a pretty decent supervisor. When him and I talked he said that it was understandable that I was hard on him because my coworkers and I had to lose our old supervisor. He and I are getting along and we are both okay with one another. It just had to take a while for us since he wasn't sure of me and I wasn't sure of him so now he and I are both in agreement and he definitely has made me laugh and I was wrong in how I treated him but he totally understood and he didn't hold how I treated him against me.

Now for my other news. Earlier today on my lunch break me and two of my other coworkers who are both women one of whom I previously mentioned returned to work today we went out to a Thrift Store. You might want to know that I did purchase some books to read since its been so cold in my neck of the woods and I haven't felt like spending any time outdoors except to go to work. The books are all love stories that I enjoy reading on a cold day just so you know.

Last but not least how was your day my dear world ??? How are things in your neighborhood and at your work place ? I do hope that things are well where you are and that you are enjoying the beginning to your week.

A Quick Note...

Hello dear world

Good evening here I am again. How am I ?? Well its still pretty cold in my neck of the woods. Anywho...I thought I would fill you in on a few things :

I started watching the show "My Fair Brady" with Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight from the show "The Brady Bunch" and I have to say I enjoyed watching it. Adrianne Curry and Christopher make the show worth watching and you will find yourself laughing and having a good time watching it.

In other news I watched a movie earlier today called "I Love You, I Love You Not" with my favorite actor Jude Law. I have to say that the movie was really quite sad and it was hard to watch it. I thought that Claire Danes made the movie really quite sad. If your in the mood for a really sad depressing kind of movie you might want to check this movie out.

I did want to tell you my dear world that the cheesecake I bought at the grocery store a few days ago was good. I opened it today and I had some of it after dinner with chocolate chip ice cream which was quite good. The cheesecake had chocolate swirled in it and it had a cookie crust on the bottom of it to give it a crunchy bite. I just thought I would tell you that.

Of course tomorrow I have to head back to work after a really long enjoyable and relaxing weekend. So my dear world how was your weekend ? Was it cold in your neck of the woods my dear world ? I do hope you all had a wonderful and nice Sunday.

**I forgot to mention that I did wake up quite early this morning and I watched my favorite movie "The Lake House" with my very favorite actor Keanu Reeves. I have to say that I really like the movie and I especially like Keanu Reeves in the movie and I happen to think he's a really nice looking guy. I have to say that "The Lake House" is worth watching anytime. I highly highly highly highly recommend this movie. Of course I have seen it probably a zillion and a half times but who's counting. Anywho you might want to catch this movie. **

A Little Background

Good evening and how is everyone ? I am doing fine today. Some of you mentioned that you didn't know I was from California so I wanted to fill you in on a little background about myself so here it goes :

I was born during the Bicentennial year of "1976" in Inglewood California. My family lived in Los Angeles, California at the time I was born. At the time Gerald Ford was President and Stevie Wonder was the top entertainer and of course Faded Levi's and Platformed Shoes were the fashion. My mother and father's side of the family are from New Orleans, Louisiana.

I do have four great grandfathers who are named Gaston Rochon, George Doyle, Arthur Hutchinson and Alca Antoine. I also have four great grandmothers who are named Laura Rochon, Wilma Mercier Doyle, Adeline Hutchinson and Alice Antoine. I also had two grandmothers who were named Goldie Doyle and Cornelia Antoine both of whom are deceased as are my two grandfathers Joseph Doyle and Lawrence Antoine.

A while back my uncle whose name is Tony was given a job at Delta in Atlanta, Georgia so my family decided to move to Atlanta and so my family and I have lived here ever since.

I do hope that helps you to learn a little bit more about me. I thought I would share that information with you since some of you didn't know I was from California.

By the way our neighbors in the back of us are having their trees cut down in their backyard so it sounds like we are living right in the middle of Home depot when the people on those machines come rolling down the aisles with the alarm on warning you that they are coming down the aisle. They have been working nonstop so I now know what its like living in Home Depot. I thought you might want to know that.

You might also want to know that I am off of work today for it is a national holiday celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.

A Note On A Sunday Afternoon

Hello dear world

Good afternoon how are you my dear world ? I am doing well today. The snow in Riverdale, Georgia is melting which is kind of sad I really liked watching the snow fall and I was hoping that it would last for a while. It was nice while it lasted any how.

So...in other news I have a movie recommendation that you. My mom and I watched a movie that came on television a little while ago called "Now And Then" with Demi Moore, Christina Ricci and Melanie Griffith just to name a few of the people in the movie. The movie is about 4 women who reunite to think about their summer in 1970. She and I both really liked the movie which was quite good. I have to say that I highly highly highly recommend this movie. I just thought I would share that with you.

Just A Little Note

Good evening. Its me again. I thought I would pop in and let you know about the movie I rented at Blockbuster. As you know already I rented the movie "Waitress" with Keri Russell.

I have to tell you that I was quite disappointed with the movie. I thought that it was going to be different and it turns out that it wasn't so good. The only funny part of the movie was a guy in the movie who was named Okie and he was funny. I can't say that I liked Keri Russell in the movie and I have to say that I wish I had never rented the movie at all. I do NOT recommend this movie. If I were to grade this movie I would have to say that I would give it a "C" for effort but nothing more.

An Announcement....

Good afternoon !!! How is everyone ?? I do have an announcement.

IT IS SNOWING IN RIVERDALE, GEORGIA AND ITS QUITE PRETTY. WE ALL WOKE UP TO SNOW. EVERYTHING IS COVERED WITH SNOW.

How is the weather in your neighborhood ???

By the way I'm being lazy today doing nothing but hanging at the house and looking at the snow outside the window.

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ? YES its Friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course it was another day at work for me but I am off of work for the weekend and I am off on Monday. It was a slow day with nothing much going on at my work.

Anywho.....earlier this evening my family and I went to a Mexican restaurant called "Monterrey Mexican Restaurant" that we usually go to. The problem was we never got served and no one ever came to our table. We flagged down the workers and they never once came to our table so we decided to get up and leave. My family and I decided that we will NEVER go back there again. The restaurant lost our business forever which is a shame.

After we left the restaurant we decided to take a ride over to Blockbuster video and we all got some movies we wanted. The movie I rented is called "Waitress" with Keri Russell which I wanted to see. I will watch it and let you know how it was. My folks got a movie called "The Last Legion" with Colin Firth which was something of a historical movie. My dad also got a war movie while my youngest niece got (2) movies she wanted as well as my older niece who got (2) movies she wanted including "Hair Spray" and the new Harry Potter movie.

After the video store we then went to Kroger which is our grocery store in our neck of the woods. Let me tell you that everyone was in Kroger buying groceries. We had heard on the news that there will be a Snow Storm moving through Atlanta, Georgia so we decided to stock up for the weekend. I bought half of the groceries and my dad bought the other half. I can tell you that I spent over $111.00 at the grocery store in less than 2 hours. We didn't make a list of anything we just went into the grocery store and got things we wanted. One of the things I picked up was a New York Style Cheesecake since I like Cheesecake.

Once we finished at the store we then got home and fixed ourselves some sandwiches with some ofthe meat and cheese that we got at the store. At the moment my folks are watching "The Last Legion". I have to admit that this will be a lazy weekend for me. I am going to stay in and be lazy so I will enjoy it.

Quite A Bit Of News....

Hello dear world

Good evening. How is everyone today ? I am sorry for not coming to talk to you yesterday but I will explain why in a minute. As you know yesterday was another day at work for me and a little bit before we were supposed to get off of work we started getting snow flurries at work so my supervisor told us that we could leave work early. I got home early and my nieces spent some time outside playing with the little snow we did get in our front yard.

Today was another day at work for me but we didn't have any snow flurries. It was much colder today than it was yesterday. I do want to thank you all for all of your kind thoughts about all that has happened at work concerning my coworkers. I am feeling better today. You might want to know that yesterday I picked up some cards for my coworker who lost his wife and I already filled up ( 2 ) cards with signatures of the people at our work and I have gotten donations for him at work. People have wanted to give a few donations for him so I have gotten quite a bit of donations for him which I'm sure he will find helpful.

Today was our pay day at work and he came in to get his regular check we haven't given him the cards or anything yet we still have some people who want to sign the card. He was still pretty upset but he said that he thanks us for all that we have done for him since we told him we had gotten him a card.

In other news.....

I hate to say it but I have NOT been watching "American Idol " I just haven't been into this time. I have been watching my movie "Harlequin's Diamond Girl" which I like.

Of course you might also want to know that I started eating baked potato chips instead of regular chips but its the only healthy thing I am doing. I can't give up my chocolate though or my coffee drinking.

So how are you and how are things in your part of the world ?? Did you get any snow flurries in your area perhaps ?? or just cold ?? If you had sunshine I don't want to know....just kidding.

Once Again...More Sad News

Hello dear world

How is everyone today ?? I don't know how to begin my news. I will just say it. Earlier today at 2:00 in the day one of my other coworkers got a call and he found out that the woman he loves died at the hospital. He had informed us for a while now that she had been sick and on dialysis. He was quite shook up by the news so I am sad to say that I am quite sad as well for him and their family and friends.

My dear world my department at work has been full of sadness these last couple of days and I am quite shook up myself with all that's happened. You will be happy to know that I have been checking on my other coworker who recently lost her husband due to illness as well with plenty of phone calls at work to her and phone calls to her while I am at home.

Anywho....we have all had a time of it. How are you holding up my dear world ?? I am sorry I am having to share such tragic news with you.

A Cold Day But With Some Good News...

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!! Its me again. As you might know it was another start to another week at work for me. I have to say that it was a cold day in Georgia with a high of 50 degrees don't you just love warm weather ??? Just kidding.

Anywho....I do have some good news to share. One of my coworker's that I work with brought me a movie that I had ordered from her a few weeks ago which made me quite happy. The name of the movie is from the Harlequin series titled "Diamond Girl" starring the very talented and very nice looking actor Jonathan Cake.

The movie is a love story and I have to say that I really like it. This movie is one of my favorites next to "A Walk In The Clouds","Jane Eyre" with Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson, "Bridget Jones' Diary" and "You've Got Mail" just to name a few. I just thought I would share that with you.

A Wonderful Sunday....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I can say that I am doing quite well today.

I want to begin by saying that today I had a really wonderful day. First my folks and I and my nieces went for breakfast at a different IHOP instead of to the one we usually go to. You will be happy to know that my breakfast was pretty good and my family did seem to enjoy their's as well.

After breakfast we had went over to Toys "R" Us which my youngest niece Megan enjoyed. Right after Toys "R" Us we then too a ride over to the store Party City which is a store that holds all varieties of party supplies, balloons and party favors. At Party City we picked up some paper for us to make invitations for my niece Megan's 8th birthday coming up.

Immediately after Party City we then took a ride to Target which is always fun. I'm sure you will be happy to know that I did do some shopping there. At Target I got a Chick Flicks CD with songs such as "Stay ( I Missed You ) by Lisa Loeb, "The King Of Wishful Thinking" by Go West from the movie "Pretty Woman" and "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross. I have to say that I really like the CD. I also got a book called "The Romance Readers' Book Club" by a writer named Julie L. Cannon. I also got a box of chocolate flakey truffles from the company named "Choxie" . I also bought a t-shirt which reads "It's all fun & games until the flying monkey's attack" which I thought was pretty funny. Last but not least I also bought a Kerne Erickson Palm Beach Florida 1000 piece puzzle since my mom and I like to do puzzles. 

All in all I had a really fun day and I have to say that my Sunday was pretty good. So how was your day my dear world ? Did you go out and do any shopping ? I do hope that your day was as nice as mine was. Of course tomorrow is another week at work for me. My coworker whose husband passed away won't be back for another couple of weeks which we agreed she should stay at home for a little while longer.

**By the way I forgot to mention something that I really should have mentioned. I watched a movie with my family today called "A Walk In The Clouds" with Keanu Reeves and Anthony Quinn. The movie is both beautiful and wonderful and you have to see it. I highly highly highly recommend this movie.

Good evening how is everyone ? I wanted to come by and share a few things with you. My folks and I just got back a little while ago.

First of all the church service was held at Dixon Grove Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ga. I can tell you that the church service was really really nice. I walked up to see my coworker's husband whose name is Billy Thomas Jones. He looked really peaceful. I then walked up to my coworker and gave her a hug. The family was still shook up having to say good-bye to Billy.

During the service friends and family got to say a few words and then the preacher did the service which he did quite wonderfully. There were tears and laughter and a lot of memories shared about Billy.

After the church service there was a memorial service at a cemetery called Forest Hills Memorial Gardens which is a nice cemetery. The funeral procession was helped along by lots of Deputy Sheriff's and Police Officers. I thought the memorial service was really nice and I got to talk to my coworker for a few minutes and hug her and let her know that I loved her and I was thinking about her. A lot of the family and friends were also at the memorial service which was quite nice. I'm sure that my coworker appreciated seeing us at the service. I think that Billy would have walked up to us and gave us hugs. I know that it will be hard for my coworker and her family at this time.

So my dear world how was your day ? How were things in your neck of the woods. I have to say that it was a pretty somber day for me but I know that Billy was never be forgotten. Notes For Friday....

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ?? I am doing fine. Of course it was another day at work for me. You might want to know that me and two of my coworkers who also work with me went over to visit with our other coworker whose husband passed recently. She was alright but she is still sad about her husband which is understandable. She enjoyed visiting with me and the other coworker's. Some of her daughters were there at the house and a few minutes later her sons arrived to the house. Her daughters will be staying with her for a few more weeks to help her through this sad time. You might also want to know that before me and other ladies I work with got back to work we were more than happy to take care of some of her business for her which she was greatly appreciative of.

Of course I will be going to her husband's funeral tomorrow so I'm sure it will be a hard day for her but me and quite a lot of those from work will be there at the funeral to give her support. She told me today that I am like a daughter to her so she said it was nice of me to visit her today at the house. She said that she won't be back to work for another couple of weeks which we understood. We have missed her being at work because she is the one who always keeps us laughing and smiling so we do miss her tremendously at work.

On a completely different note the same person who said that "my journal is boring" once again left me another comment in my previous entry stating that he stands behind saying "my journal is boring" so my question dear world is this......why does he keep visiting if he feels my journal is boring?? I am unable to reach him through his name left with his comment so I am unable to ask him why. What do you think my dear world ?

Anywho....how are things with you my dear world ? We did get a little more rain recently in Georgia so hopefully the drought isn't as bad as it was. I do hope that things are well with you my dear world. That's about it for now. I'll talk to you again soon.

Good evening and how is everyone ?? First I would like to say a HUGE "THANK YOU" to all of you who sent me lots of wonderful comments on how much you all enjoy my journal. I will try to continue to share my day to day life with all of you and welcome those who are new to my journal.

As you might know today was another day at work for me. I don't know if I told you this but my coworker whose husband passed away recently will be having his funeral this Saturday. My coworkers and I have been taking up donations for her during this sad time.

A Note And I'm Making It Official

Good evening. Yes you will be happy to know that I am in better spirits today thank you.I have to say that the weather today was YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY. It rained all morning and everything was wet.I am NOT a fan of rainy days. Listen I do want to apologize to all of you for skipping around on those questions but I wanted to pick out some of the questions instead of just going in order.

I do have to say that someone and I am not going to mention the name but the person left a comment in my journal which said "This journal is boring. Yawn." I want to say that I always try and be nice to everyone and I try to keep an upbeat attitude but if someone doesn't like my journal I feel that they have a right to feel that way but they do NOT have to come and read it if they don't like it. Don't you agree my dear world ? I do hope that I have welcomed all of my visitors with open arms but if I didn't I am truly truly sorry if I don't make someone feel welcome to my journal.

Some Sad News And A Wonderful Wonderful Dinner

Hello dear world

I can't really begin this entry by saying good evening but it was a very sad day today. First I have some very upsetting news to share. My coworker F*****S her husband B***Y passed away last night from a heart attack at the hospital. He had been sick a while and last night his heart gave out. His funeral is Saturday so I will be going to the funeral.

In more sad news the guy who was a person of interest in the disapperance of Meredith Emerson told law enforcement officials where Meredith's body was and he is in police custody of course. I do think its sad what happened to Meredith and I hope that the Meredith's family knows that we all offer our condolences on their loss. I don't know why the guy killed Meredith and it is truly sad to think about. This will be a very hard time for her family I know so I hope her family knows that we are all thinking about them all.

My family and I were planning on going up to Vogel State Park to go camping a few months back but the place was packed solid so we did end up getting reservations at Unicoi State Park as I might have told you a few months back. Unicoi was nice but we had wanted to go to Vogel. Since Meredith's disappearance we have changed our minds about going there but you never know we may end up going there some day just not right now.

In other news tonight I treated my family to the "Olive Garden" one that is in our neighborhood. Here is the link if anyone would like to see it -----> www.olivegarden.com/ . I do have to say that it was almost like being in Italy. My mom and I and my oldest niece had the Seafood Alfredo, my dad had the Lasagna and my youngest niece she had the Spaghetti. My oldest niece also had a vanilla italian soda with her meal, I on the other hand had a caramel italian soda which I didn't like because it was a bit too sugary sweet. We all liked the Seafood Alfredo however and my dad liked his Lasagna. My youngest niece wasn't much into the spaghetti but she did end up getting a bowl of vanilla ice cream with a topping of ice cream which she liked. I must say our dinner was wonderful and I wouldn't mind going back for another trip.

Some Thoughts And A Busy Busy Monday....

Good evening !!! How are you my dear world ? I am doing quite well. It was quite a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. It was a wonderful 60 amazing degrees in Georgia and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was like a perfect Spring day yes yes yes yes it was.

Of course it was another week at work for me. Anywho...last night the movie "Jane Eyre" came on GPB on Masterpiece Theater with Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson. Toby played the role of Edward Rochester and Ruth played the role of Jane Eyre. Both Toby and Ruth were quite good but my favorite part was Toby Stephens.

On a more sad note I know that many of you might have heard but on Thursday a massive searhc was launched for Meredith Emerson who went hiking on Freeman Trail, which is a popular 6-mile path on Blood Mountain within Vogel State Park. The search included about 100 volunteers, law enforcement officicals, police dogs and a GBI helicopter.

Lawmen were seeking Gary Michael Hilton as a person of interest. He was seen by other hikers walking with Emerson and their dogs up Freeman Trail. On Friday investigators find several personal belongings of Emerson in a dumpster in the parking lot of a Quik Trip on Keith Bridge Road in Cumming. On Saturday at 5pm police officials arrest Hilton at Fulton County jail, charging him with kidnapping with bodily injury. I do think its sad that Gary Michael Hilton may have killed Meredith Emerson. I know that she will be missed by many including friends and family. It seems sad that any of it had to happen. I still am left wondering why he killed her. What do you think my dear world ???

In other news it was a very busy busy busy busy day at my job for my coworkers and I. The building was back to business since the holidays are over. The offices were busy and there were plenty of people at my job going here and going there. I can tell you that its going to be a very busy week at my work.

Good evening !!!!! Phinney pointed out that Rosie O'Donnell answered a question that I asked her about. I had mentioned the Barbara Streisand movie I saw and I asked her what her favorite Barbara Streisand movie was and she answered me back I can't believe it. I was just posting the question because she is a fan of Streisand's. I was so excited to see that she answered me in her "Ask Ro" section of her blog. I am a fan of Rosie's because she has always made me laugh and smile when I wasn't always feeling my best. Thank you Phinney for pointing that out to me.

My Saturday...

Hello dear world

Good evening. How is everyone ? I am doing well on this Saturday evening. You will be happy to know that I got up early this morning. For breakfast I had some bits of chopped up Salmon, some slices of ham, and this time I didn't have scrambled eggs like I usually do. Today I had two fried eggs which I have to say were good. I also had some apple juice.

While breakfast was getting ready I did happen to see "The Mirror Has Two Faces" with Jeff Bridges and Barbara Streisand. I have to say that I have always liked the movie. I think that Jeff Bridges is quite nice looking in the movie and his performance was wonderful. Barbara was also quite good and she is pretty funny in the movie. I highly recommend you see the movie my dear world.

Anywho...after breakfast I did call Southern Regional Hospital because one of my coworkers named F*****S has been at the hospital because her husband was put in the hospital recently. I called up there to see how he was doing. I do hope that her husband gets to feeling better he has been sick for a while before he was put in the hospital. Later on she called me back and let me know that they were still doing tests on her husband so I don't know what the results of the test were. I will probably call the hospital again tomorrow and check on him and see how he is doing. Her husband's name is B***Y.

Happiness,Happiness,Happiness.....Its Friday !!!!!

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you my dear world ? I hope you are all well. Yes I am doing fine. It was another cold day in Georgia but I know that pretty soon Summer and Spring will be right around the corner.

Anywho.....It was another day at work for me today but it was a very slow nonbusy day. You might want to know that my coworkers and I went out to lunch today at Longhorn Steakhouse. There is a Longhorn's near my work so we were able to get there before the lunch crowd started coming in. Our waitress was quite nice and we managed to leave her a pretty good tip. She was quite happy to get things if we asked for them and she brought us refills on our drinks even before we were finished our original drinks. I can also say that our food was quite good. I ordered the ribeye which was good and their mashed potatoes that were covered by a blanket of melted butter which were quite good. My coworkers and I were each given a gift card to Longhorn Steakhouse from some people in an office at my work for Christmas which was a nice gift for us. We had a nice lunch and we enjoyed ourselves.

You might also want to know that I will be off of work for the weekend. You might also want to know that I am quite excited to report that one of my coworkers had her daughter who also works on another floor at our work a movie for me that I wanted. The movie is one I have seen already on television but it hasn't come on television in quite a while. The movie is called "Harlequin's - Diamond Girl" I must say that I can't wait to see it when I get the movie.

Last but not least I did go back to watching the show "House" on television. I had stopped watching it but I have to admit that I went back to it and it is back to a television show that I like once more.

Good evening how are you ? I hope you are all staying warm these last few cold days. I am sorry for ranting and raving yesterday I am quite better now.

I DON'T LIKE WINTERTIME !!!!!!!!!

Good evening and how are you ?? First things first first. I had to go to work today and you might want to know that I contributed to the Gross National Product.

You might also want to know that it was a cold cold cold cold cold cold cold cold cold cold freeeeeeeeeeeezing day in Georgia. I have to say that I HATE WINTERTIME !!! It was a day of wearing layers upon layers of clothing, a heavy winter jacket,mittens and a scarf and I would like to say with total honesty yuck,yuck,yuck,yuck,yuck,yuck to this weather.

I AM LONGING FOR SUMMERTIME.

Anywho...during my lunch hour I went out into the frozen weather armed with a ton of clothing and I went to the store with my coworkers. Did you know that the stores are stocking the shelves for Valentines Day ?? The shelves at the store I went to were stocked with Valentines Day cards, candy and Valentines Day decor.

A little while ago it was Christmas and now it seems like we fast forward to Valentines Day ? My my my how things change. Its not even February yet. Am I wrong ??

By the way my dear world...is there a Long John Flannel Nightgown Company in your area ? You might want to send them to my neck of the woods they would make a killing off of me alone. I am ready to go into hibernation until Wintertime is over.

I might want to take a long nap like Rip Van Winkle himself until this terrible, horrible, awful hypothermia inducing weather has passed. How was the weather in your neck of the woods ?

Did I mention that I HATE WINTERTIME ?

The Holidays Are Over...And Ross Mathews

Hello dear world

How are you ?? Well a new year came rolling in did you all enjoy your New Year's ?? We did. We all stayed home except my older sister who had to work. My folks and I and my nieces had some deviled eggs and we watched the Peach drop on television and then we stayed up and watched some of the Dick Clark's Rocking Eve and then we went to bed.

Earlier this morning I got up earlier than usual and started watching "The Holiday" when quite suddenly the power went out and Georgia Power had to come out and fix it. While the power was out my folks and I and my nieces worked on taking down our Christmas tree for the year. My dad then went out and got us some cheeseburgers from McDonald's for us to eat since the power was out. A little while later our power returned and started on our day.

A few minutes ago we all sat down for dinner which consisted of ham, rice,black eyed peas, collard greens and chitterlings. I didn't eat any of the collard greens or the chitterlings because I don't eat any of them. I also had a little bit of champagne to celebrate New Year's. Our dinner was pretty good and its sad to think that the holidays are over.

Of course tomorrow I have to head back to work once again and things will be pretty busy for my coworkers and I since everyone returns to work after the holidays. So how was your day my dear world ? Did you go out or anything ? I hope you all enjoyed your day and remember Christmas will return to us soon enough. You might want to start once again on your Christmas shopping I think my shopping will have to wait.
