Hello dear world
Good evening everyone its that time of again for me to pop in and say hello.
Well it is me again and of course it was another day at work for me but the weather in my neck of the woods was rather nice. It did rain for a few seconds and then it was gone.
I do have some rather sad news to report. The remains of John Bryant were found. He and his wife Irene had both went missing. N.C. Sheriff David Mahoney confirmed that the remains were those of John Bryant. Mahoney said that investigators had enough evidence to charge Gary Michael Hilton with the murder of Bryant and his wife Irene who were last seen alive October 20th in the Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina.
I have to say that I am glad that John's body was found because now his loved ones and friends can give him a proper burial. His family and friends no longer have to worry about what may or may not have happened to him. Its truly a shame what Gary Michael Hilton did. Gary hurt so many people.
Anywho....
Today after I got off work my folks and I went to our polling place which is located at a school nearby our house. My folks and I and my now "8" year old niece Megan went to our polling place and YES we voted in the Georgia Primary and YES I VOTED for Barack Obama for President of the United States. On the ballot they also wanted to ask if I was going to vote on a 1% sales tax for which I voted NO. I have to say that I got to thinking my dear world why is it that when I finish voting do we in Georgia get a sticker ? I think that it would be better to get a "I AM A GEORGIA VOTER" button instead of some sticker don't you think ?? I hate that Georgia has a sticker and not a button... I'm just throwing my thoughts out to you. What do you think ???
Of course you might also want to know that after we voted my folks and I and my other niece went to pick up my other niece from her bus stop and we headed out to dinner. My family and I went for dinner at our favorite place "La Parrilla" Mexican Restaurant where I had (2) chicken quesadilla's yes (2) with a side of avocado slices.
Immediately after dinner we then stopped off at CVS where I got 2 Valentines Day cards and a book by the writer named Carly Phillips. By the way are you ready for Valentines Day ?? You might also want to know that during my lunch hour with (2) female coworkers of mine we went to a thrift store where I picked up a book titled "I Love You, Ronnie - The Letters Of Ronald Reagan to Nancy Reagan" . I think that in reading how Nancy wrote of the letters Ronald wrote her and how she wrote of their marriage they had something special.
Last but not least how was your day my dear world ?? Did you go out and VOTE today in the Primary ??? I hope that you had as wonderful a day as I did even though I did have to work today which was for me quite busy. I think that about covers everything my dear world.
I'll get back with you soon with more news.
Bye !!!!!!!!!!

Morning Monae, Glad that you had a good day yesterday, and that you got to vote. It is very importantto vote I think and get quite cross with people who say.."oh I can't be bothered what difference does my one vote make" every vote matters. What is the difference Monae between a button and a sticker ? charities give us a sticker in the street when we have given a donation so I suppose that the same. but don't think I know about a button. ? have a great day and may the sun be shining on your lovely face Love Sybil xx
(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGSTOYOU))))))))))))))))))))))))I hoe you have a nice Wed.
We get a sticker, too that says "I voted." Sounds like you had a good day with your family.

I thought that book by Nancy sounded good when I heard about but I had forgotten about it. Our primaries are in April and we get stickers too - I would rather have a button as well.

In Kansas, we get an "I voted" sticker when we vote. But not yesterday as our caucuses are run by the Rep. or Demo. parties, not the local, state or federal government. So we didn't get buttons or stickers. Some people here whined that they had to drive 20 miles to their caucus.
Says something about U.S. citizens that there are people in this world who have to walk miles (in fear of their lives) and get their fingers dipped in permanent ink instead of cheap stickers or slightly more expensive buttons when they vote, yet still manage an 80% turnout.
