A Wonderful And Thrilling Day

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!! How is everyone ???? I just had to come and talk to you this evening because I have so so so so so so much to tell you.

Anywho.......first I wanted to report that today was the 1st day of Spring although this morning it didn't feel like it. It felt like Wintertime because it was quite cold and windy this morning. By the afternoon it started warming up little by little.

Of course it was another day at the courthouse where I work. I do have to tell you that a little before 3:00 in the afternoon I met a really nice looking single police officer on the elevator and his name was M*******. While we were on the elevator alone we got to talking for a little while and he told me that he had been in court all morning and he still had to go to work. I did enjoy talking to him and he enjoyed talking to me as well. He smiled at me quite a bit and we had a really nice conversation. After he had gotten off the elevator I was left wishing that I had gotten his phone number.

In other news you might want to know that finished reading "Isabel's Bed""Lost & Found" and the other book I had bought titled "Laced" by Carol Higgins Clark. All of the books were pretty good and I highly recommend them. I also finished reading "Naughty Neighbor" by Janet Evanovich and I have to say that it too was a great book and it was certainly funny. I did buy the book "The Last Juror" by John Grisham and I can't wait to start reading it.

On a totally different note earlier this evening my mom and I went to our Citizens Police Academy class which was held at the Police Academy tonight instead of at the Police Headquarters were our usual classes are held. We did arrive home a few minutes ago. You might want to know that our class covered the Use of Force in which we got to shoot on the FATS Machine which is known as the Firearms Training Simulator which was a real Glock which was used as part of the Simulator. I have to say that the Simulator was quite a thrill. When I shot I ended up shooting an unarmed man instead of the suspect. I would have liked to have done the Training Simulator a second time but I didn't get the chance. My mom had fun too and she did shoot the suspect on the simulator. Everyone in the class got different events on the simulator in which we had to determine whether to shoot or NOT to shoot which is quite a thing to decide. Tonight was my very first time doing a Firearms Training Simulator and I have to say that it was memorable and worth learning. I am glad I got the chance to do the Simulator.

On the way home she and I did stop off at Sonic's where we got some really delicious steaming hot Onion Rings and some Mozzarella Sticks which were quite good. I also got some Cinna Sticks which I haven't eaten yet.

So my dear world how was your day ?? Do you have any news for me ?? I do hope that you had a very wonderful Thursday I sure did. I had to come by and share my day with you. That's all for now. I'll be back later to talk to you all again soon.

Good-night dear world

I think your knight in shining armour will be with you soon.  Just stay who you are and keep smiling and flirting and it will happen.  Have a nice Good Friday.

Monae, Have a happy Easter.

Finally you are reading a book that I have read,"The Last Juror" by John Grisham. He is one of my favorite authors. Been reading everything he has written for the last 12 years or so. Can't get enough of him. Enjoy this one and look for the others. Bill

Sounds like an interesting ride in the elevator Monae.  Hmmm?
I'm glad you are getting a lot of pleasure out of your books.
We have cold arctic winds and the odd snow flourish here in the English Lakes.  Hailstones were pelting down earlier this afternoon too.  Its a cold Easter time even though you say its Spring.
Happy Easter Monae
Love
