About Last Night...

Hello dear world

Good morning how is everyone ? As you might not know there was a tornado that ripped through Downtown Atlanta rest assured that I am fine. I don't live near Downtown I live in the area of Clayton County, Georgia. We did get quite a bit of rain in our area but we are not in Downtown. I hope that the people in Downtown Atlanta are alright but rest assured I and my family are all doing fine. Click on this link to see my neighborhood and in the middle you will see at the top a picture of my work building its the Courthouse where I work -----> http://www.co.clayton.ga.us/

Anywho....I have some news for you. Yesterday I finished my book "Lost & Found" and I have to say that it was a very good boook. In the book it turns out that the dog's name is not Lloyd but Cooper. It was fun reading about the book in the book including Rocky and Cooper, a young lady named Melissa and a woman named Tess. I highly recommend the book. Jacqueline Sheehan is a very talented and creative writer.

In other news....last night my folks and I and my youngest niece Megan went out to dinner last night. My oldest niece was at a school thing. You might want to know that the place we went to was called "LA HACIENDA" which is a good Mexican restaurant. Our usual place "La Parrilla" was quite busy so we went to LA HACIENDA instead. Over at the restaurant I tried a dish called Mole Mexicano which was a dish of shredded chicken in a brown chocolate sauce. I also had some Mexican rice and beans. I hate to say it but the Mole was NOT good. I didn't like the taste of it so I shared some of my mom's food with her which was quite good.

After dinner my folks and I and Megan went to rent some movies over at Blockbuster. We rented some movies called : Michael Clayton, Becoming Jane, Feast Of Love, The Invisible, War, We Own The Night, Gone Baby Gone, No Country For Old Men and Bee Movie for my niece Megan.

After we got home we watched the movie "No Country For Old Men" with Tommy Lee Jones which was a very interesting movie. I don't know why they called it "No Country For Old Men" but I do have to say that it was worth watching.  It wasn't until later in the evening that the sky opened up and the rain came running down in buckets.

I heard about the roof being torn off by the tornado on the news this morning and I saw the damage. It looked pretty bad but things in my neighborhood are fine. I did watch "Feast Of Love" this morning. Morgan Freeman was in it and I have to say that the movie was NOT good. It was a very sad and tragic movie. I will NOT recommend this movie as worth watching. It is quite windy today but so far NO rain.

How are things in your neck of the woods ? I do hope that you are enjoying your weekend. I am enjoying mine and hopefully the bad weather in Downtown Atlanta has passed. How is the weather where you are ? Are you getting any stormy weather ? Do keep me posted.

That's about all for now. I'll talk to you again soon.

Take care everyone

Thanks for letting us know all is OK for you and your family.  Chicken with a chocolate sauce?  Oh my goodness, sounds really odd, I can't imagine I would like it either!  You sure do enjoy reading books and watching lots of movies, don't you.  I'm kind of envious.  Reading has never been easy for me, and movies sometimes put me to sleep lol.   Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!   Judy

Glad to know you weren't around that violent weather.  Tornadoes aren't something to be around.  Have a good weekend.

I'm glad you and your family are OK.  Tornadoes scare me so much, I don't think I could live in an area that they are prevelant.  Hope you have a happy weekend. : )
