Sharing Some News.....

Hello dear world

Good evening...first let me say thank you for all of your kind words to me about my work situation. Hopefully things will work out for me and my coworkers and we won't be split up.

Anywho...I did want to come by and tell you about my day yesterday which I can say was a blast. I had soooooooo much fun. Yesterday my day began when my mom called to me from my bedroom and told me that we were going out to eat for breakfast with my cousin Peter. I quickly got up and got dressed and got ready to go. My mom and I and my niece Megan did have to wait for my dad and my other niece Jeanette who was at her piano lesson. A little while later my dad and Jeanette got back and we all hopped into the car so we could go over and pick up my cousin Peter who has been staying at my Auntie Boobie's house while he is visiting.

Once we picked up my cousin Peter we took a ride to a different Chick-Fil-A located in Fayetteville, Georgia which was nice. I can tell you that their biscuits were larger than the ones at the Chick-Fil-A near our house. While we were there my mom and my cousin Peter kept us laughing. Let me tell you my mom and my cousin are both something.

Later on after breakfast we went to my favorite place on earth "Barnes & Noble" which is a huge huge bookstore. There is quite an aroma when you first walk in that hits you in the most wonderful way and its the smell of new books. I just love going there its always fun. I did find some books I purchased. One of the books I bought is called "A Hopeless Romantic" by Harriet Evans and the other is called "The Hidden Life of Otto Frank" by Carol Ann Lee. You might want to know that I did buy a Barnes & Noble card for the first time. I also got a book that my niece Jeanette wanted and my dad got a sticker book for my niece Megan. After buying my books my mom and I went over to Starbucks which is located inside of Barnes & Noble. My mom ordered a Cappuccino and I ordered a Frappeccino which was a drink with coffee and a lot of rich chocolate blended in.

After the bookstore we dropped off my cousin Peter at my aunt's house. You might want to know that I started on cleaning my room which was a job. I still had more work to do on it today but I had gotten a lot of it done yesterday. You might also want to know that I am happy to report that my Uncle Tony was able to come home yesterday and he is recovering nicely. It looks like he will continue to recover which I am thrilled about. I haven't seen him yet but I look forward to seeing him soon.

Today I started reading "A Hopeless Romantic" that I got yesterday from Barnes & Noble. The book is about a woman named Laura Foster who is a hopeless romantic. Her friends know it, her parents know it even Laura acknowledges that she lives with her head in the clouds or buried in a romantic novel. It's proved harmless enough, even if it hasn't delivered her a real-life dashing hero yet. But when her latest relationship ends in a disaster that costs her friendships, her job and nearly her sanity, Laura swears off men and hopeless romantic fantasies for good. With her life in tatters around her Laura agrees to go on vacation with her parents. After a few days of visiting craft shops and touring stately homes of Chartley Hall, she crosses paths with Nick, the sexy, rugged estate manager. She finds she shares more than a sense of humor with him - in fact, she starts to think she could fall for him. The question is, is Nick all he seems ? or has Laura got it wrong again ? Will she open her heart only to have it broken again ?

At the time I was reading the book where she was in love with a guy named Dan who had a girlfriend named Amy. A little while later I read that Laura was told by Dan the he got his girlfriend Amy pregnant and he was staying with her. Laura ended up leaving Dan which I think was a good choice. I'll have to tell you more of the story later.

Anywho...you will be happy to know that I spent the day finishing up cleaning up my room. I have to admit that my room was beginning to look like the Bermuda Triangle and the entire world was falling into my room. I'm sure that after a while half of the house would have tipped over from the weight of my room. Now the Navy Seals won't have to be called in to find my room. For the first time in a long while I opened up my windows and let in some cool fresh air which was nice. I also lit (2) of my favorite candles one of them being a Pumpkin Pie candle and the other was a Roasted Acorn candle which smelled wonderful.

That's about it for me and my news. How was your weekend my dear world ?? Did you go out or did you stay in this weekend ? I do hope you got to enjoy your weekend. I'll talk to you again soon.

Take care

I hope everything works out ok at your job. I hate changes like that. But, things always change.
Your weekend sounds great! I love that store, too.
Enjoy your books...and good luck on your Bermuda Triangle! LOL!

Wow...sounds like you had a delightful weekend.

I am not a B&N freak but my husband is. He can spend hours in that place.
I go in, buy what I want and then I'm ready to go.
Reading is a difficult chore for me, not a leisure activity.
I can spend all day in Sportmans Warehouse.

And I have totally sworn off Starbuck's. It is a huge ripoff. $4 for coffee??
My credit card was $35 less last month because I quit going to Starbuck's.

oops. Sorry..didn't mean to rain on your parade.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself........really.

I can spend hours in book shops. My missus refuses to come in them with me.
Glad your uncle is on the mend.
