Hello everyone
Good evening dear world. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today was a day of rain which came and went and came and went.
Anywho....today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to a thrift store called Treasures Old And New. I ended up getting The Twilight Saga New Moon movie board game with metal collectible pieces. It was $10.00 but I got it at $9.00 for a little discount. I am still a Twilight fan and I have been for a very long time. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn part 2 which comes out pretty soon.
We also went to another thrift store nearby but I did not buy anything. I looked at their books but I already had the ones they had. It also had other things there as well.
After the thrift stores we went to church for the evening mass. Then after church we went to a place called Noodle which has the best food in the world. My niece and I shared the shrimp fried rice which is quite good. We also had crunchy spring rolls which my folks also liked. The food was good there. I always like to eat there.

Hello everyone
Good evening. I wanted to come by and share some news with you. It was a very busy day at work yesterday. I did have to go to the library today however for a class. Anywho yesterday was a very very wet day.
Yesterday my folks and I and my niece Megan went for a drive yesterday over to the library. We then took a ride over to Steak-N-Shake. I had the Oktoberfest which was a sandwich. They had some spicy mustard on it which I did NOT like. I scraped off the spicy mustard. We ate at Steak-N-Shake for dinner. They had a Campfire S'Mores shake which I had and it was very very good.
After eating we took a ride over to Target for some shopping. I ended up getting "The Lucky One" on dvd with Zac Efron. I also got the book "HAVEN" by Kay Hooper and "Betrayed by Love" by Diana Palmer and the book "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky. I have always liked to read books.
Today the weather was a little on the warm side. I went to the library for a class that I was required to take for my job. The class took a while but I did pick up two books while I was at the library. I liked looking at the books while I was there. There were other people there for the class I had to take.
Some of you wanted to know how my puppy has been doing. My little puppy Chip is doing well and active as always. He likes to jump and jump and jump and jump all of the time. He is very much into me and he is still cute as ever.
So how are you my dear world ? I hope you are all having a great week. I am busy and keeping busy as well. I guess that is about all for now. I shall talk to you again later.

Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. It seems like forever since I have come to talk to you. Well it was a wonderful Saturday. Today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to church. When mass started the sky opened up and it started raining in rivers. It started to pour and with it....lightning. For a second the lights went off in church but they came back on. My dad had to go back to the car because he had left one of the windows open since it was warm earlier in the day....he got wet but he dried off in church. It wasn't so bad once mass was over.
Anywho....after church we stopped off at the Olive Garden for dinner. The place was quite busy let me tell you. We did eat dinner which was very good. We had the smoked mozzerella fonduta and I had the shrimp alfredo which was very good. My folks liked their dinner and so did my niece.
We got home and it had stopped raining on the way home. I hope you all had a nice Saturday. I am sorry for being gone so long. I will try to come by more often. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Hello everyone
I hope you are all having a great weekend. It was a warm day in Georgia. Today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to a couple of garage sales. We went to one of the garage sales and the prices were simply astronomical. I did not buy anything at the garage sales.
We did go eat at La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. The food is always good there. I had a shredded chicken quesadilla which was very very good. I like going to eat there. After eating we went over to Hobby Lobby. It is fun going to Hobby Lobby to look around and see what they have. I bought some stickers and some other things there.
We also took a ride over to one of the Goodwill stores. I liked going there to look at the books they had. I found one book called "Gone" by a writer named Michael Grant. I found out that it is a series. I have never read any of Michael's books before. I heard that Gone is a very good book. I will give it a read. I looked at the inside cover and it sounded like a very good book. I like finding new and interesting books to read.
We also went to church this evening. So how are you my dear world ? Did you miss me at all ? I hope you will have a great Memorial Day weekend. I know that I have not been around much. I have been meaning to come and share some news with you. I am sorry for not talking to you sooner. I shall return with more news.

Hello everyone I hope you all had a nice Easter. Earlier this morning my folks and I and my niece Megan went to the Sunrise service at our church. After church we went to eat at the Cracker Barrel.
Let me tell you something that my mom and I thought was rather funny. We had sat down at the table and my dad was sitting on the other side of me and my mother. All of a sudden from the ceiling came a daddy long legs spider. First of all let me tell you that my dad hates hates hates spiders. He is scared of spiders. My mom and I saw it and my mom started screaming "Get away, Get away, Get away, Get away". My dad moved from his chair at the Cracker Barrel. The spider had fallen to the floor. My dad never saw the spider but we did. We ended up moving to another table at the restaurant. It was funny because the spider had almost landed on my dad's head. If we had not said anything my dad would have jumped out of his chair with fright.
Anywho...after the Cracker Barrel we had to go to Kaiser because my mom had a doctor's appointment. It was rather cold this morning but the weather ended up warming up quite a bit.
I am on vacation this week from my job. Today our Easter meal consisted of mashed potatoes, potato salad, peas and a green bean casserole that my dad likes. Last night my mom and my niece Megan made cupcakes and a cake with cotton candy frosting.
Anywho...I wanted to share my news with you. I hope you got so spend your Easter holiday with your family. That's about it for now. I will talk to you all again later.

Hello how is everyone ? I wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter. So far the weather has been nice. Yesterday my mom and dad and I and my niece Megan went to church for Good Friday. The church was full and the service was nice. I was sitting next to a guy in church and when we had to stand up and hold hands he squeezed my hand rather tight. I didn't remove my hand but I wanted to tell him that he was squeezing my hand.
Anywho after church we went to eat at Long John Silver which was good. I had the fish sandwich which was rather good.
After eating we went to Kroger to pick up a few things. I ended up getting some chocolate for Easter and a magazine with The Hunger Games on it. I still want to see the movie. Everyone says the movie is really good.

Hello everyone good evening. I hope you are all having a great Saturday.
Today my father and I and my niece's went to the Riverdale Branch Library. They were having a yard sale there outside. I got (2) books there titled "Chasing The Night" by Iris Johansen and the other "A Perfect Blood" by Kim Harrison. A lot of their stuff was priced too high. The books I got were for a $1.00 each.
Anywho....after the yard sale we went to a video store and I got the movie "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. The movie was pretty good.
After the video store we stopped off at Pizza Hut and we got some pizza. We brought the pizza home and we ate. The pizza is always good.
There was talk of it raining today but there has not been any rain in sight I hate to say.

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I have been busy working and such. I have also been reading a lot of books as well. I just picked up "Torn" by Amanda Hocking and "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins.
I thought that you might want to know that I am still around and keeping busy. I have not left you all. It has been rather cold here in my neck of the woods. I am so wishing it were Summer already. How are things with you all ? I hope that you are all doing well. I just finished "The Wolf Gift" by Anne Rice which was a very good book. I have always liked her books.

Hello dear world
How was your weekend ? I hope you all had a nice one. I had a very great Sunday. I have a uncle named Noel visiting with us for the Thanksgiving holiday. The weather was not too cold today as of lately.
Anywho...today my niece and I went to the movie theater. We went to see the Twilight saga "Breaking Dawn part 1" which was beyond awesome and amazing. I am an even bigger Robert Pattinson fan and I have to say that I would like to see the movie again soon.
I can't wait for the Thanksgiving holiday to come. I can't believe that it will soon be Christmas time already. I wonder if anyone has started their Christmas shopping ? Are you getting ready for the holidays ????

A Great Sunday....
Hello everyone ! Happy Halloween to you all.
I hope you all had a great weekend. I know I haven't been around in a while. I am sorry for being gone so long. I wanted to let you know that I have returned. I have been working and being fine.
Today my folks and I and my niece's and I went to go play Bingo at a lodge. I did not win however it was fun. After playing Bingo we went to Barnes and Noble bookstore. I picked up the Twilight graphic novel volume 1 that I ordered online. I am still a huge Twilight fan. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn part 1 coming out on November 18th.

A Nice Day....
Hello everyone !!
Good evening everyone. How is everyone these days ? I hope you are all well. I know that I have not been around lately. I have been busy working and doing stuff with my family. I wanted to catch up with you and let you know how I have been doing. My niece Megan recently graduated from the 5th grade which is really exciting. She is getting so grown now. She recently got back from a trip to Tennessee to the aquarium with the girl scouts.
Anywho...today my folks and I went to some yard sales in our area since the weather was nice. I got a free book from one of the yard sales we went to. There was this lady in her 80's and she told us that her brother had passed away recently. He had some stuff she wanted to sell. He was a pastor apparently and he had this old book from the gospel and I saw it and she said that I could have it for free. I told her that I would pay for it but she said no. I thought that was nice of her. We also went to another yard sale and I got another book at the yard sale that I wanted to look at.
After the yard sales we went over to Kohl's. I ended up buying some t-shirts that I wanted. I also looked around in Kohl's while we were there. Once we left Kohl's we went to Target. I got a book there at the store. I also got some movies that I wanted in Target. I also bought a new journal while I was there.
My dear world there was a preacher in California who said that the world was going to end today. I am happy to report that all is well here in my neck of the woods. My family and I are doing well. I hope you are also doing well. I wanted to tell you that I had a really nice day today and I had a nice time being out of the house today.

My Twilight Birthday.....
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. I want to tell you that I am sorry for not being around lately. I have been busy working and spending time with my family. I recently celebrated my 35th birthday.
Yesterday my folks and I went over to Party City. I found some good Eclipse plates, napkins and a Eclipse centerpiece for my party.

We also went over to Kohl's. I got some new tennis shoes for my birthday and a cute t-shirtAfter Kohl's we went to eat at La Parrilla which the food there is always good. My dad went to pick up my niece Megan from the bus stop. A little while later we went to church and the mass was nice.
Once we got home we took some pictures of my Twilight cake which was made by the store Publix. My niece Megan helped my to blow out my candles. It was my very first Twilight birthday party and I enjoyed it.

My Weekend...
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. The weather today was amazing amazing amazing. I wanted to come and share my weekend with you. Over the weekend my family and I went to a place with my niece Megan called "Victory Junction Gang Camp" here is the link -----> www.victoryjunction.org/ . They had kids and young people there with disabilities but they were able to do all sorts of things. We had a camp leader with us while we were there. We did all sorts of activities like archery, fishing, miniature golf, bowling and arts and crafts. There was dancing there after we ate and I was not all that into it. I liked the arts and crafts which was fun. I made a Jeff Gordon race car and I painted a plate in the arts and crafts. I also liked bowling.
The weather was warm which was nice. There was a lot of walking that we had to do to get to some of the activities. Over the weekend they did make chocolate cupcakes which were quite good.
Sunday we had to pack up the cabin that we were staying in. We had to later on go and eat breakfast with everyone. In the afternoon my mom and I and my niece Jeanette went to the gym. She taught us how to play ping pong and she showed us how to play pool.
Later in the day we had to go to the theater to see the dvd of the time we had at the camp. They packed up a lunch for all the families to take with them home which was nice. My dad did get sick over the weekend his blood pressure was high but the medical staff at the camp took good care of him. He seems to be feeling better.
My niece Jeanette drove us home halfway. We stopped off at rest stops along the way. We decided to stop off at a red lobster which is always good. I had the lobster tail, shrimp, steamed crab legs and mashed potatoes. The food was good.
We got home later in the evening. We unpacked the car. It was nice to get home again. While I was away from home I started reading "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" since I want to see the movie.
I have to share something with you. They didn't have any kind of soda at the camp and so I was craving soda all weekend. My niece Megan enjoyed herself and she had a good time with the other kids. My niece Megan and my niece Jeanette took part in a talent show Saturday night which they did quite well in.

New Update....And Exciting News
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I wanted to come and talk to you. It was another week at work for me. I am sad to report that the weather is getting cold again...ugh !!!!
Anywho....I have some exciting news to share with you. As some of you might not know. I recently got a car and I have not driven in a while. Today I drove home from work which was an accomplishment. I was nervous driving home but I did really well. I am having a little trouble on turning but I will work on it. I am trying to learn how to be out on the road. I am hoping that I get better as time goes on. I am proud of myself today for driving home from work.

I am hoping that I get better as time goes on. I am proud of myself today for driving home from work.

Driving Update....
Hello my dear world
Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I wanted to come and share my news with you. First the weather today was wonderful and it was a nice day to be out.
I am proud to announce that my mom and I went out today in the car. We went out by our church and by my work. I actually did good driving today. I still have a lot to learn but it was hard letting go of my fears but I did it. I am glad that I went out driving today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am quite proud of myself though it took me a minute to learn to take my turns and to not keep a heavy foot. I still have a hard time when it comes to being out on the road with other people behind me but that is a part of driving I guess.
Thanks for all of your comments they are helpful to know that you were thinking of me. I will try to continue to practice my driving. I am not ready to go out on my own but I will get to that sooner or later. It will probably take me some time to get used to driving. I know that it takes time to learn something that I have NOT been doing.
Anywho...how was your day today ? I hope that you are all having a nice weekend. I did treat myself to a little shopping at Hobby Lobby since I did well driving and all. I guess its time for me to gain a little more confidence and practice does make perfect.

Needing To Talk....
Hello dear world
Good evening everyone. I hope you are all well. It is officially Friday aren't you all excited ? Well it was another day at work for me and the weather was quite nice. It is hard to be inside when the weather is nice.
I have some thoughts to share with you if you don't mind me bending your ear for a minute or two. First I know that many of us have fears and doubts about things in life. Some of us are afraid of heights, meeting new people, starting a new job, spiders or perhaps going to the doctor.
I have to tell you a secret that I have never shared with you before. I passed the driver's test in which I got my driver's license but I have never driven since then. I recently got a car but the thing is I am afraid to get behind the wheel of a car. I have been going to work with one of my coworker's. The thing is I have always been afraid to drive and to get out on the road. I know that certain people think it is silly for me to be afraid. I hate to be afraid to do something that so many people are doing. I know that there are a lot of people who are able to get behind the wheel and drive a car.
Many people I know have fears and doubts in their lives and they deal with them. How do you deal with having fears and doubts in your life ? Me it seems that I wish that I could just get over this and get on with things but its not so easy. So many things are easier said than done. I have never been able to get over this part of my life. I don't know why I have always been so afraid to drive. I have never thought that I would be afraid to do something that others can do. A lot of people have been trying to encourage me and tell me that I can get behind the wheel of a car but its not so easy to convince myself to believe the people that are trying to encourage me.
Anywho...I just needed to come and talk to you my dear world. I do hope that you all had a good week. I hope that you all will have a great weekend ahead. I will talk to you again soon.

Shopping....Chocolate.....And More Shopping
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today the weather in my neck of the woods has been nice for a change. I thought I would come and share my day with you.
Today my family and I went to TJMaxx. I ended up buying an Elvis Presley journal, a movie called "In The Land Of Women" with Kristen Stewart. I also got a box of chocolate truffles and a bottle of VOSS water. I also got a book titled "NIGHTSHADE" by the writer Andrea Cremer.
After TJMaxx we went to JoAnn's where I got some stickers including some Harry Potter stickers I liked. I wish that J.K.Rowling would write some more Harry Potter books. I really like the books and the movies.
We also took a ride to the store JCPenney. I got (3) t-shirts that I liked. I also got some Godiva chocolate bars. Since its almost Valentines Day its always good to have chocolate for Valentines Day.
Anywho...after shopping I treated my family to eat at MOE's. The food there is always good. The burrito's are great and huge. I ended up getting the Homewrecker which is a type of burrito. The food was good and we always like going there.
So how are things in your neck of the woods my dear world ? How was your Saturday ? I hope that your day was a nice one. I wanted to let you know that I am glad that you all were thinking of me while I was gone from posting in my blog. I will try to post more often.

Update....and I Am Back !!!!!
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. I am sorry that I have not been around lately but I am back !!! I have been under the weather and not feeling very good. Do not be alarmed. I did go to the doctor and I am taking the medicine that the doctor gave me at Kaiser. The doctor told me that I have Bronchitis for which I am taking medicine for. I have also been doing breathing treatments and taking care of myself. I am working on getting better and I feeling better.
In other news my folks and I had to go and take care of a few things which we got done. I have to tell you that I had bought the book "In Too Deep" by Jayne Ann Krentz. I started reading it and I have to say unfortunately that I could NOT finish it. The more I read it the more I found it terrible and the story was just not believable enough to finish. I usually like her books but this one was just indeed....Too Much instead of Too Deep. I have to say that I do NOT recommend this book at all.
I don't know if any of you saw the Superbowl game last night but I wanted to report to those of you who did not see it. The Greenbay Packers won against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Black Eyed Peas also performed at the game as well as the singer Usher. I just wanted to share that.
I am quite sad to report that it was reported by the weather man that it is supposed to get cold again. I was looking forward to some nice weather but of course not and I guess Winter is still with us. I can't wait for Spring to arrive but not the pollen which I am sure will come.
Of course it was the beginning to another week at work for me. My coworker's and I have a new guy at work with us. Today was his first day at work. He is an older gentleman. He seemed to enjoy working with a whole bunch of us women. He seems to be a hard worker and he doesn't mind the work. I hope that he decides to stick around a while we could certainly use the help. He is a really nice guy and he was very good to work around. I hope that he likes us enough to want to stick around. We all liked him and he seemed to enjoy talking to us. Hopefully he will continue to keep with us. It is different working with someone new but it is nice having someone new around.
So my dear world how are things with you my dear world ? I hope that things are going fine with you. I hope that you have NOT given up on me. I will try to come back more often. I have been under the weather but I am doing better and I will try to post more often. Please do NOT lose hope in me I am still around.

In Wake of Recent Events.....
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? Some of you may be off watching football but I am not. My New Orleans Saints are not playing so I am not watching football. I do have some different things to talk of tonight. I have to warn you that what I am about to say that some of you may or may not agree with. I am about to voice my opinion on what happened in Tucson, Arizona. If you do not want to read this I am okay with that and you may feel free to stop reading at this moment. However please do know that even Mattie Stepanek was pretty interested in what happened in the world and so do I.
There was a shooting recently in Tucson, Arizona which killed and injured people. What happened in Tucson was a terrible tragedy. People are wanting to point the finger and place blame. A lot of people are wanting to know why. It could have been that the shooter had mental problems or that he was mad at someone. The thing is why he did it does not matter and it won't be considered by the legal system because it does not matter one way or the other. What does matter is that what happened that day, it happened. We do need to have much stricter gun laws and they need to be enforced. Weapons like that of handguns, rifles, knives and ammunition should not be easily accessible to just anyone.
I hate sounding like some politician running for office. I do not want to be in charge of making laws or writing such laws. I wouldn't want anything I say or opinion I have to be placed in the hands of someone that might want to put me in charge. I think that we need to stop pointing the finger. If we need to do so people should consider writing to their Congressmen and voice their displeasure over random acts of violence. I support our President Barack Obama for the speech he made in Tucson, Arizona. We have to give him credit where credit is due. He spoke not only for the victims but for the families and everyone in Tucson during a horrible time.
I just think that it is time to reflect on recent events with an open mind. We all need to stop and take the time to understand that it was not the gun's fault for what happened because guns do not shoot themselves. People need to take responsibility for their actions. It is understandable that people are mad about what happened but pointing the finger is not going to change what happened in Arizona. I think that everything that happened is terrible and I wish that it would not have happened but it did. I know that my opinion may not be liked by some but we all have to find a way to get through our feelings.
I just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on the tragedy. I hope that you will all know that I will return to my regular scheduled programming of talking about my life at a later date. Thanks for listening everyone and take care everyone.

We Survived The Snow Blizzard....
Hello everyone
Good evening my dear world. How is everyone these days ? I hope you are all well. If you have been watching the news lately you might have heard what went on in my neighborhood. We recently were hit by a snow blizzard...yes a snow blizzard. It was bad and we are still dealing with the ice. On Tuesday my dad and my niece Jeanette went went walking to the Kroger near our house. The reason they had to walk is because nobody could drive with the icy roads. It was slippery as they went walking to the store. Someone gave them a ride on their way back from the store.
They ended up bringing back my mom and I some sandwiches since we had not eaten. My dad started baking like crazy. He was baking cookies, pudding and creme brulee. I could not eat all of that because I would have popped like a over inflated balloon. It was like the North Pole had exploded in our kitchen. There was food everywhere that he made.
Anywho...I had to head back to work today since my work was closed recently due to the weather. I have to tell you something that might just make you laugh out loud. When I got home our driveway is still an ice rink so I went to our grass which I thought was going to be safe but wasn't. My mother and my oldest niece Jeanette were inside the door and I could not walk on the grass with the ice being slippery. I was trying to walk and I failed by just standing on the ice. Well I had my purse and things in my hand and guess what happened next....well I had to sit down and literally scoot myself to the porch so I could get to the front door. My mother and my niece were laughing the entire time while I was scooting myself to the porch since walking was a definite hazard to my health. It took me a minute to get to the porch with all of the ice I had to slide on. The ice was quite cold and sharp of course. I found that I was not liking the entire situation but so there it is. I felt like a fish that had slipped out of a bowl and ended up on the floor. Can things have gotten any more funny than that ??? My dear world I am hoping that this ice will melt but it is supposed to be cold again tonight. I say the end of my day was not a fun one my dear world.
So how are things in your part of the world ?? Is the weather the same in your part of the world ? I hope that you got to have a nice day. I am beginning to wonder what tomorrow will be like. I just wanted to share my moment with you. You might find that I this is not true but I have to tell you that it is and I can tell you that sliding on ice is not a fun thing and it is not an experience I want to relive.
