Hello dear world

How was your weekend ? I hope you all had a nice one. I had a very great Sunday. I have a uncle named Noel visiting with us for the Thanksgiving holiday. The weather was not too cold today as of lately.

Anywho...today my niece and I went to the movie theater. We went to see the Twilight saga "Breaking Dawn part 1" which was beyond awesome and amazing. I am an even bigger Robert Pattinson fan and I have to say that I would like to see the movie again soon.

I can't wait for the Thanksgiving holiday to come. I can't believe that it will soon be Christmas time already. I wonder if anyone has started their Christmas shopping ? Are you getting ready for the holidays ????

Hello everyone ! Happy Halloween to you all.

I hope you all had a great weekend. I know I haven't been around in a while. I am sorry for being gone so long. I wanted to let you know that I have returned. I have been working and being fine.

Today my folks and I and my niece's and I went to go play Bingo at a lodge. I did not win however it was fun. After playing Bingo we went to Barnes and Noble bookstore. I picked up the Twilight graphic novel volume 1 that I ordered online. I am still a huge Twilight fan. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn part 1 coming out on November 18th.

So how is everyone doing these days ? I hope you are all.

Hello everyone !!

Good evening everyone. How is everyone these days ? I hope you are all well. I know that I have not been around lately. I have been busy working and doing stuff with my family. I wanted to catch up with you and let you know how I have been doing. My niece Megan recently graduated from the 5th grade which is really exciting. She is getting so grown now. She recently got back from a trip to Tennessee to the aquarium with the girl scouts.

Anywho...today my folks and I went to some yard sales in our area since the weather was nice. I got a free book from one of the yard sales we went to. There was this lady in her 80's and she told us that her brother had passed away recently. He had some stuff she wanted to sell. He was a pastor apparently and he had this old book from the gospel and I saw it and she said that I could have it for free. I told her that I would pay for it but she said no. I thought that was nice of her. We also went to another yard sale and I got another book at the yard sale that I wanted to look at.

After the yard sales we went over to Kohl's. I ended up buying some t-shirts that I wanted. I also looked around in Kohl's while we were there. Once we left Kohl's we went to Target. I got a book there at the store. I also got some movies that I wanted in Target. I also bought a new journal while I was there.

My dear world there was a preacher in California who said that the world was going to end today. I am happy to report that all is well here in my neck of the woods. My family and I are doing well. I hope you are also doing well. I wanted to tell you that I had a really nice day today and I had a nice time being out of the house today.

My Twilight Birthday.....

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. I want to tell you that I am sorry for not being around lately. I have been busy working and spending time with my family. I recently celebrated my 35th birthday.

Yesterday my folks and I went over to Party City. I found some good Eclipse plates, napkins and a Eclipse centerpiece for my party.

We also went over to Kohl's. I got some new tennis shoes for my birthday and a cute t-shirtAfter Kohl's we went to eat at La Parrilla which the food there is always good. My dad went to pick up my niece Megan from the bus stop. A little while later we went to church and the mass was nice.

Once we got home we took some pictures of my Twilight cake which was made by the store Publix. My niece Megan helped my to blow out my candles. It was my very first Twilight birthday party and I enjoyed it.

Anywho...I hope that you are all well. The weather here has been nice. I am doing well. That's all for now. I included a picture of my cake in case you wanted to see it. I will talk to you again later.

My Weekend...

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. The weather today was amazing amazing amazing. I wanted to come and share my weekend with you. Over the weekend my family and I went to a place with my niece Megan called "Victory Junction Gang Camp" here is the link -----> www.victoryjunction.org/ . They had kids and young people there with disabilities but they were able to do all sorts of things. We had a camp leader with us while we were there. We did all sorts of activities like archery, fishing, miniature golf, bowling and arts and crafts. There was dancing there after we ate and I was not all that into it. I liked the arts and crafts which was fun. I made a Jeff Gordon race car and I painted a plate in the arts and crafts. I also liked bowling.

The weather was warm which was nice. There was a lot of walking that we had to do to get to some of the activities. Over the weekend they did make chocolate cupcakes which were quite good.

Sunday we had to pack up the cabin that we were staying in. We had to later on go and eat breakfast with everyone. In the afternoon my mom and I and my niece Jeanette went to the gym. She taught us how to play ping pong and she showed us how to play pool.

Later in the day we had to go to the theater to see the dvd of the time we had at the camp. They packed up a lunch for all the families to take with them home which was nice. My dad did get sick over the weekend his blood pressure was high but the medical staff at the camp took good care of him. He seems to be feeling better.

My niece Jeanette drove us home halfway. We stopped off at rest stops along the way. We decided to stop off at a red lobster which is always good. I had the lobster tail, shrimp, steamed crab legs and mashed potatoes. The food was good.

We got home later in the evening. We unpacked the car. It was nice to get home again. While I was away from home I started reading "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" since I want to see the movie.

I have to share something with you. They didn't have any kind of soda at the camp and so I was craving soda all weekend. My niece Megan enjoyed herself and she had a good time with the other kids. My niece Megan and my niece Jeanette took part in a talent show Saturday night which they did quite well in.

New Update....And Exciting News

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I wanted to come and talk to you. It was another week at work for me. I am sad to report that the weather is getting cold again...ugh !!!!

Anywho....I have some exciting news to share with you. As some of you might not know. I recently got a car and I have not driven in a while. Today I drove home from work which was an accomplishment. I was nervous driving home but I did really well. I am having a little trouble on turning but I will work on it. I am trying to learn how to be out on the road. I am hoping that I get better as time goes on. I am proud of myself today for driving home from work.

Driving Update....

Hello my dear world

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I wanted to come and share my news with you. First the weather today was wonderful and it was a nice day to be out.

I am proud to announce that my mom and I went out today in the car. We went out by our church and by my work. I actually did good driving today. I still have a lot to learn but it was hard letting go of my fears but I did it. I am glad that I went out driving today and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am quite proud of myself though it took me a minute to learn to take my turns and to not keep a heavy foot. I still have a hard time when it comes to being out on the road with other people behind me but that is a part of driving I guess.

Thanks for all of your comments they are helpful to know that you were thinking of me. I will try to continue to practice my driving. I am not ready to go out on my own but I will get to that sooner or later. It will probably take me some time to get used to driving. I know that it takes time to learn something that I have NOT been doing.

Anywho...how was your day today ? I hope that you are all having a nice weekend. I did treat myself to a little shopping at Hobby Lobby since I did well driving and all. I guess its time for me to gain a little more confidence and practice does make perfect.

Needing To Talk....

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. I hope you are all well. It is officially Friday aren't you all excited ? Well it was another day at work for me and the weather was quite nice. It is hard to be inside when the weather is nice.

I have some thoughts to share with you if you don't mind me bending your ear for a minute or two. First I know that many of us have fears and doubts about things in life. Some of us are afraid of heights, meeting new people, starting a new job, spiders or perhaps going to the doctor.

I have to tell you a secret that I have never shared with you before. I passed the driver's test in which I got my driver's license but I have never driven since then. I recently got a car but the thing is I am afraid to get behind the wheel of a car. I have been going to work with one of my coworker's. The thing is I have always been afraid to drive and to get out on the road. I know that certain people think it is silly for me to be afraid. I hate to be afraid to do something that so many people are doing. I know that there are a lot of people who are able to get behind the wheel and drive a car.

Many people I know have fears and doubts in their lives and they deal with them. How do you deal with having fears and doubts in your life ? Me it seems that I wish that I could just get over this and get on with things but its not so easy. So many things are easier said than done. I have never been able to get over this part of my life. I don't know why I have always been so afraid to drive. I have never thought that I would be afraid to do something that others can do. A lot of people have been trying to encourage me and tell me that I can get behind the wheel of a car but its not so easy to convince myself to believe the people that are trying to encourage me.

Anywho...I just needed to come and talk to you my dear world. I do hope that you all had a good week. I hope that you all will have a great weekend ahead. I will talk to you again soon.

Shopping....Chocolate.....And More Shopping

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today the weather in my neck of the woods has been nice for a change. I thought I would come and share my day with you.

Today my family and I went to TJMaxx. I ended up buying an Elvis Presley journal, a movie called "In The Land Of Women" with Kristen Stewart. I also got a box of chocolate truffles and a bottle of VOSS water. I also got a book titled "NIGHTSHADE" by the writer Andrea Cremer.

After TJMaxx we went to JoAnn's where I got some stickers including some Harry Potter stickers I liked. I wish that J.K.Rowling would write some more Harry Potter books. I really like the books and the movies.

We also took a ride to the store JCPenney. I got (3) t-shirts that I liked. I also got some Godiva chocolate bars. Since its almost Valentines Day its always good to have chocolate for Valentines Day.

Anywho...after shopping I treated my family to eat at MOE's. The food there is always good. The burrito's are great and huge. I ended up getting the Homewrecker which is a type of burrito. The food was good and we always like going there.

So how are things in your neck of the woods my dear world ? How was your Saturday ? I hope that your day was a nice one. I wanted to let you know that I am glad that you all were thinking of me while I was gone from posting in my blog. I will try to post more often.

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. I am sorry that I have not been around lately but I am back !!! I have been under the weather and not feeling very good. Do not be alarmed. I did go to the doctor and I am taking the medicine that the doctor gave me at Kaiser. The doctor told me that I have Bronchitis for which I am taking medicine for. I have also been doing breathing treatments and taking care of myself. I am working on getting better and I feeling better.

In other news my folks and I had to go and take care of a few things which we got done. I have to tell you that I had bought the book "In Too Deep" by Jayne Ann Krentz. I started reading it and I have to say unfortunately that I could NOT finish it. The more I read it the more I found it terrible and the story was just not believable enough to finish. I usually like her books but this one was just indeed....Too Much instead of Too Deep. I have to say that I do NOT recommend this book at all.

I don't know if any of you saw the Superbowl game last night but I wanted to report to those of you who did not see it. The Greenbay Packers won against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Black Eyed Peas also performed at the game as well as the singer Usher. I just wanted to share that.

I am quite sad to report that it was reported by the weather man that it is supposed to get cold again. I was looking forward to some nice weather but of course not and I guess Winter is still with us. I can't wait for Spring to arrive but not the pollen which I am sure will come.

Of course it was the beginning to another week at work for me. My coworker's and I have a new guy at work with us. Today was his first day at work. He is an older gentleman. He seemed to enjoy working with a whole bunch of us women. He seems to be a hard worker and he doesn't mind the work. I hope that he decides to stick around a while we could certainly use the help. He is a really nice guy and he was very good to work around. I hope that he likes us enough to want to stick around. We all liked him and he seemed to enjoy talking to us. Hopefully he will continue to keep with us. It is different working with someone new but it is nice having someone new around.

So my dear world how are things with you my dear world ? I hope that things are going fine with you. I hope that you have NOT given up on me. I will try to come back more often. I have been under the weather but I am doing better and I will try to post more often. Please do NOT lose hope in me I am still around.

In Wake of Recent Events.....

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? Some of you may be off watching football but I am not. My New Orleans Saints are not playing so I am not watching football. I do have some different things to talk of tonight. I have to warn you that what I am about to say that some of you may or may not agree with. I am about to voice my opinion on what happened in Tucson, Arizona. If you do not want to read this I am okay with that and you may feel free to stop reading at this moment. However please do know that even Mattie Stepanek was pretty interested in what happened in the world and so do I.

There was a shooting recently in Tucson, Arizona which killed and injured people. What happened in Tucson was a terrible tragedy. People are wanting to point the finger and place blame. A lot of people are wanting to know why. It could have been that the shooter had mental problems or that he was mad at someone. The thing is why he did it does not matter and it won't be considered by the legal system because it does not matter one way or the other. What does matter is that what happened that day, it happened. We do need to have much stricter gun laws and they need to be enforced. Weapons like that of handguns, rifles, knives and ammunition should not be easily accessible to just anyone.

I hate sounding like some politician running for office. I do not want to be in charge of making laws or writing such laws. I wouldn't want anything I say or opinion I have to be placed in the hands of someone that might want to put me in charge. I think that we need to stop pointing the finger. If we need to do so people should consider writing to their Congressmen and voice their displeasure over random acts of violence. I support our President Barack Obama for the speech he made in Tucson, Arizona. We have to give him credit where credit is due. He spoke not only for the victims but for the families and everyone in Tucson during a horrible time.

I just think that it is time to reflect on recent events with an open mind. We all need to stop and take the time to understand that it was not the gun's fault for what happened because guns do not shoot themselves. People need to take responsibility for their actions. It is understandable that people are mad about what happened but pointing the finger is not going to change what happened in Arizona. I think that everything that happened is terrible and I wish that it would not have happened but it did. I know that my opinion may not be liked by some but we all have to find a way to get through our feelings.

I just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on the tragedy. I hope that you will all know that I will return to my regular scheduled programming of talking about my life at a later date. Thanks for listening everyone and take care everyone.

We Survived The Snow Blizzard....

Hello everyone

Good evening my dear world. How is everyone these days ? I hope you are all well. If you have been watching the news lately you might have heard what went on in my neighborhood. We recently were hit by a snow blizzard...yes a snow blizzard. It was bad and we are still dealing with the ice. On Tuesday my dad and my niece Jeanette went went walking to the Kroger near our house. The reason they had to walk is because nobody could drive with the icy roads. It was slippery as they went walking to the store. Someone gave them a ride on their way back from the store.

They ended up bringing back my mom and I some sandwiches since we had not eaten. My dad started baking like crazy. He was baking cookies, pudding and creme brulee. I could not eat all of that because I would have popped like a over inflated balloon. It was like the North Pole had exploded in our kitchen. There was food everywhere that he made.

Anywho...I had to head back to work today since my work was closed recently due to the weather. I have to tell you something that might just make you laugh out loud. When I got home our driveway is still an ice rink so I went to our grass which I thought was going to be safe but wasn't. My mother and my oldest niece Jeanette were inside the door and I could not walk on the grass with the ice being slippery. I was trying to walk and I failed by just standing on the ice. Well I had my purse and things in my hand and guess what happened next....well I had to sit down and literally scoot myself to the porch so I could get to the front door. My mother and my niece were laughing the entire time while I was scooting myself to the porch since walking was a definite hazard to my health. It took me a minute to get to the porch with all of the ice I had to slide on. The ice was quite cold and sharp of course. I found that I was not liking the entire situation but so there it is. I felt like a fish that had slipped out of a bowl and ended up on the floor. Can things have gotten any more funny than that ??? My dear world I am hoping that this ice will melt but it is supposed to be cold again tonight. I say the end of my day was not a fun one my dear world.

So how are things in your part of the world ?? Is the weather the same in your part of the world ? I hope that you got to have a nice day. I am beginning to wonder what tomorrow will be like. I just wanted to share my moment with you. You might find that I this is not true but I have to tell you that it is and I can tell you that sliding on ice is not a fun thing and it is not an experience I want to relive.

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I am happy to report that my movie "Eclipse" from the Twilight series won as Favorite Movie at the People's Choice Awards.....I am happy it won. You might want to know that Friday night I went and got the movie "Remember Me" with my favorite actor Robert Pattinson. He is totally great in the movie and I really loved the movie. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn.

In other news there is talk of snow in the forecast. It is terribly cold in my neck of the woods. I guess we might just get some snow. I hope that it will be coming early Monday morning.

At the moment I am reading the book "White Lies" by Jayne Ann Krentz. The book is quite good and I am enjoying reading it. Jayne is a great writer. The book is well worth reading. I highly recommend it as a book to check out whether its a cold evening or a warm evening.

I do have some sad news to report. My catfish that my family and I had in our aquarium died recently as well as our algae eater. My mom bought some goldfish for our aquarium.

Good evening my dear world !!!! I have to say that I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that you all got to spend time with your family,friends and loved ones.

I have some exciting news for you that you won't believe. The New Orleans Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons 17-14 at the Georgia Dome. Everyone at my work was tellling me that the Atlanta Falcons were going to win tonight. Everyone was telling me that the Saints did not have a chance in winning. I was cheering for the Saints because everyone was telling me that I was wrong. I am glad that the Saints won they played a heck of a game tonight at the Georgia Dome. I will have to wear my New Orleans Saints shirt tomorrow at work. I am so happy that the game ended the way that it did. Can you believe it my dear world ??? I am so happy for the outcome.

I am sure that other people were cheering for the Atlanta Falcons who did play a good game. However the Saints played a good game and I was rooting for them to win tonight. I was right about the Saints being a good team and I am hoping that they know that I am proud of them for the game. I think that they deserved this win for how they played tonight. This was an awesome game all around. I don't mean to go on and on but I am so excited about this !!!!!!

A Wonderful Night....

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone how is everyone today ??? Is everyone done with their Christmas shopping ??? I am and I am glad its all finished. I had to work all this week. I will be off tomorrow and friday and the weekend. A lot of people at my work left early but we had to work kind of late. My coworker's and I got finished.

This evening when I got home I got dressed since my folks and I and my niece's went to Lake Lanier for the Magical Night of Lights. We also went to the buffet which was good. The food was quite good and we all had fun. The christmas lights were amazing. We took pictures inside and my niece Jeanette took pictures of the Christmas lights outside. There were still a lot of people driving in when we were leaving Lake Lanier this evening. We did not go to the Santa village afterwards. We decided not to go. We had fun with going to the buffet and seeing the lights. I had a great time with my family. Its always fun spending time with my family.

So how has your holidays been my dear world ? Have you been busy ? Are you all ready for Christmas as I am ??? I do hope that you all have a wonderful and memorable holiday. I am sure that the stores will be mad busy these next couple of days. Do have a great Christmas and I will be hoping that you all will have a chance to be with your family, friends and loved ones.

Old Man Winter....

Hello everyone !!!!

Good evening all. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Its been another frosty cold day. It was a busy day at work for me....duh !!!

Anywho...a lot of people at my work have been watching "Eclipse" which is part of the Twilight series. They like it as much as I do. My coworker's are not into it. I thought that there wouldn't be anyone at my work who would like it as I do. I thought that I was about the only person in the world who was a fan of the series.

In other news...tomorrow my coworker's and I will be having a Christmas breakfast at work. I got some doughnuts and some syrup since we will be having pancakes and some other stuff. I also got my coworker's some gifts which I hope they will like.

With how cold it has been outside it might as well snow. I wonder if it cold in other parts of the world as it is here. I do hope that all of you will have a wonderful and memorable Christmas. I hope your week has been a nice one. Your probably wondering if I will ever stop complaining about the cold weather. The answer to that is....probably not.

It Snowed For A Minute...And A Poem

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone on this cold frosty day ???? I hope you are all well. I started reading a Christmas novella titled "A Snowwflake" by Jamie Carie and it was a very good book. The story was set in the year 1897. These two people named Buck Lewis and Ellen Pierce meet during a wilderness trek to a place called Dawson City. Its set around Christmas time.

Anywho...it has been a cold frosty day in my neck of the woods. It snowed for like a minute and then it was gone. I was reading a book by Mattie J.T. Stepanek and I got inspired to write a poem. I have not written in a very long time. I thought that I was never going to write poems anymore but today I did. I wanted to share it with you. I do hope that you like it.

Inspired

Its winter and the snow came today
it was nice to see it
but it decided not to stay.

I would have gone out in the cold
just so I could have walked in it
and watched it sparkle like gold.

Maybe it will come back another day
and it will be such a wonderful thing
and it might just decide that it doesn't want to go away.

Some News...And A Little Rant And Rave

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone !! How is everyone today ? I hope that you haven't become a frozen popsicle. It is become frigidly cold here in my neck of the woods. I am seriously missing the Summer weather something fierce. I am longing for some 80 degree weather and long sunny days with absolutely no cold days.

Anywho...I have been working and staying busy. The Christmas tree is up and decorated. I can't wait until Christmas to come. Its the holiday season and I am enjoying the christmas lights at houses and all of the Christmas decorations going up here and there.

I would like to take this moment to rant for a minute about how I am feeling about a certain issue....I went to Blockbuster this evening to take back my Edward Cullen throw because it didn't come with the tote bag inside. I was given a replacement happily and I now have both the throw and the tote bag. However the guys working there did not like Mr. Edward Cullen which is played by Robert Pattinson. The thing is too many people are hating on the Edward Cullen in Eclipse. I am a Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen fan which should be obvious by now. Why is it people are not happy to hear that I like Edward Cullen ???? I don't mind that people like Jacob Black. I would like to hear just once for someone to say that they too like Edward Cullen as I do. Can someone please help me out on this one ????? Isn't there one Edward Cullen fan out there ????? Anyone ???? Someone ???? Am I the only one in the world who feels this way ???? Where are my Edward Cullen fans ????????????

Christmas Shopping....And I Have "ECLIPSE"

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone ! I hope you all had a wonderful wonderful Saturday as I did. I just got home a little while ago. My folks and I and my niece Megan went to eat Mexican at La Parrilla which is always good. I had the cheese nachos and (3) soft tacos of which I only ate two of the tacos. The food was very very good.

After eating we went to Kohl's which was packed with people doing their Christmas shopping. I did some Christmas shopping as well. I bought my niece Jeanette some gifts which I am sure she will love. I also got my coworker's something for Christmas. I also bought a gift for my dad for Christmas. I also bought some really funny interesting t-shirts that I liked for myself. My mom found a cute pair of earrings for me and I bought them. I also bought a Yankee Candle pine scented candle for Christmas for our home. I also bought some Christmas ornaments for my Christmas tree at work that I liked. I am not quite finished Christmas shopping but hopefully I will get done.

After Kohl's we went to Blockbuster to get some movies. I rented a movie for my mom. I also rented (2) movies for my niece Megan. I am very hsppy to report that I got the movie "Eclipse" on DVD. I also got the Team Edward throw which I like. The lady working in Blockbuster asked me if I liked Edward or Jacob. She said that she likes Jacob and NOT Edward. How can you NOT like Edward ??? I am a Team Edward fan like mad. I have posters, calendars, bags, stickers and the Twilight books and movies. All of stuff is of Robert Pattinson. There is NO bigger fan than me. I can not wait to watch Eclipse tonight. Does anyone else like Twilight as I do ? I am like obsessed with the whole series. Stephenie Meyer would be proud of me being a fan.

As Helen and Sybil told me it is never too early to say "Merry Christmas" so of course "Merry Christmas" everyone and the happiest of the holiday season. Hello everyone

Good evening everyone ! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. It was a busy day at work for me. It is Friday !!!! There was a guy at my work today. He got on the elevator with me. He was a really nice looking guy. I probably should have asked what his name was. We talked on the elevator for a minute. He had a really great smile and a funny sense of humor. I liked talking to him on the elevator. I wonder if he will be coming back to my work. I will have to keep you posted.

On a different note I went to Big Lots with one of my female coworker's. I got some ornaments for our Christmas tree at work. Its not totally finished. I also got a Robert Pattinson calendar while I was there. I am a total Twilight fan. I do like Robert Pattinson after seeing him on the Twilight series. Robert plays a vampire named Edward Cullen. I want to buy the movie "Eclipse" now that it will be on DVD. The movie Breaking Dawn will hit theater's pretty soon and I can't wait to see it.

Of course its been cold in my neck of the woods. I guess Winter is on its way to my neck of the woods. I hope that you all had a nice week. I am hoping that you will all have a nice weekend ahead. Pretty soon it will be Christmastime. I want to wish you all a very "Merry Christmas" and a happy holiday even if it is a little too early to say it.

A Wonderful Saturday...Getting Out

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. I am sorry for my previous entry. I was mad about things in the news and what I saw and felt. However I did get out of the house today. I did NOT watch the news so I am in a much better mood today...thankfully. I did go to the stores today and I did some shopping for myself.

First my folks and I and my niece's went to Great Clips so my niece Jeanette could get a little haircut. My mom and I went next door to Wolf Camera to process some pictures we had. Then we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant which was good. I had the taquito's which are always good. My folks had the taquito's as well which they like.

Then we went to Garden Ridge which was fun. I got to look at the Christmas decorations with my niece Megan which she liked. I ended up finding two books which I liked there. One of the books is called "Quest for the Lost City of Gold" by Stephen Biesty. I have to figure out the clues to solve the mystery which is fun. It has a lot of different places you have to travel to in the book in order to figure out the clues. I also got another book which shares stories of those who wrote postcards which I can't wait to read. While I was in Garden Ridge a lady came up with a full cart. I didn't see her coming up behind me. She had a metal chair on top of everything in her cart. It hit me lightly on the back of my neck but luckily no injury was caused. She did apologise for what happened.

After Garden Ridge we got home so we could drop my niece Jeanette since she went out with a friend of hers. My folks and I and my niece Megan went to Macy's. My niece Megan wrote a letter to Santa Claus there since they have a program where the young children get to write the letters to Santa. The proceeds from the letters go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The letters are mailed to the Santa Claus station and they get replies from their letters. I looked around Macy's but I did not buy anything there. Did you know that the mall is closed for the holidays at Macy's ????

After leaving Macy's we went to Sears. My mom and I saw a house for her Christmas village however the one we saw on display did not come in a box. We asked them if they would want to sell the one on display and they said flat out NO !! They did NOT want to make a sale so we walked away without further reply. We continued to look in Sears. My dad purchased a DVD player which was nice.

We then left Sears and I wanted to go to Barnes and Noble which we did. I found two nice Christmas books which look wonderful. I can't wait to read them. I also got a book by James Patterson which I had wanted. I also got a Pokemon book my niece Megan wanted. I did get a cute bookmark I wanted. My mom went next door to PetSmart and bought some goldfish for my Catfish to eat as a snack. He is getting bigger every day in the aquarium. He ate all of them and I am sure that he is rather full.

We got home and I fixed myself a ham sandwich. My uncle Noel called and it is always nice to talk with him. He is always happy to hear from us. So how was your day my dear world ? I hope you had a nice one. I hope your weekend was a nice one. I do hope that you all have a nice Sunday ahead.

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. I did not go out shopping at all surprise surprise. Its like freezing here. Its hypothermia inducing fingers falling off, chilled to the bone cold I kid you not.

I have to say that I have been watching some of the news recently and I am quite mad over various issues and things. I am going to issue a warning that if you do not like this posting you can just stop reading this and I won't mind. However I am tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired, tired of it all. Maybe I crossed paths with a black cat or it could be a full moon.

Anywho...on the news two women went into the same store and nearly got into a fist fight, people are trampling eachother to get into a store literally. Its like the "Running of The Bulls" in Pamplona what I saw on the news. It also happened that two parents who were older adults took their eleven year old into the store so that they could shoplift. The child was not shoplifting but the parents were. I also have been seeing that North Korea is on the brink of war. What in the world is going on ??? What am I missing here ???? Are we losing our humanity to all of this nonsense ???? Are we reducing ourselves to childish behavior ??? I don't get it and I don't understand any of this madness. A lot of things don't make sense to me on the news or things I see going on. What are we doing to eachother when its the holidays and we are acting like we are not civilized ??? There are still random acts of violence beind done by humans to other human beings. Our troops are still being deployed to Iraq when I heard that the war was over in Iraq.

Can anyone explain this to me ??? Can anyone give me some sense of understanding of this mess ??? It seems like there's no good news anymore. I am so tired of hearing all of this stuff going on in the world every single day of every single hour of every minute of every day.

Can we all just learn to get along during this holiday season....please ???? I hope that we are all learning a lesson from all of this. Are we learning anything ??? Are we ????

I am sorry for going off on a rant but I had to get a few things off my mind before I go to sleep tonight. I hope that all of you will understand that sometimes I just have to vent and get a understanding of things in my head.

Happy Thanksgiving !!!!!

Hello everyone good evening. How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a great holiday. This morning my folks and I and my niece's went to church. The mass was really nice. The church choir did a great job performing today. They played the bells today and it was wonderful to hear. Pretty soon it will be Christmas time.

I am reading a book called "The First Love Cookie Club" which is a love story set around the Christmas holiday. There is a woman in this book who is in love with this guy. He broke her heart some years ago and she suddenly has to return to the town where she got her heart broken. I must say that it is a really good book. The story takes place in a Texas town called Twilight.

Anywho....for Thanksgiving we had turkey, a gravy my mom and I made from scratch, baked macaroni and cheese made by niece Jeanette, stuffing, we had shrimp for appetizers, My niece Megan made a cake and it was good. We had a really nice Thanksgiving and I am glad I got to share it with my family.

So how was your Thanksgiving my dear world ? I hope you all had a nice time with family and loved ones. Tomorrow begins the shopping part of the holiday for many. The newspapers are full with sales papers and ads and coupons and hurry up and get here advertisements. Is anyone going shopping tomorrow ??? I don't really feel like waking up early to go shopping I hate that part of it all. There will be a ton of people out in my part of the woods I'm sure.

You might want to know football fans that the New Orleans Saints won 30 - 27 against the Dallas Cowboys. Congratulations to the Saints for a great win. I thought you might want to know if you did not get a chance to see it.

Hello my dear world

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope all is well in your part of the world. I thought that I would come and share my day with you. It is time for me to share my news with you.

At the moment I am reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society". I am liking the book. It is a very interesting read. It is fun getting to know the people in the book through their letters. I would like to know what a potato peel pie would taste like. I like the people in the book.

Anywho...today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to a place we go to often called "La Parrilla" Mexican restaurant. The food is always good there. My mom and I shared the Texas fajitas with a side of beans, sour cream, guacamole, pico da guallo. We had shrimp in our fajitas. The whole meal was good.

After eating we went to Michael's. I got some Christmas stickers. I also bought some items my mother wanted. Ater that we went to Hobby Lobby. I got some more Christmas stickers for me and Megan. I love looking at all of the Christmas decorations and things.

We left Hobby Lobby and we went to Rite Aid. I ended up getting some Lindt chocolates and some magazines. I have to say that the Thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays in your part of the world.

Good evening dear world. Happy Veterans Day !!! I would like to take a minute to thank our armed forces both U.S. and our British for fighting and serving our country. I would also like to thank our veterans for a job well done. I would also like to say thanks for the families of those who have loved ones in the armed forces for for their support of their work and contribution to our country. They deserve our thanks.

*****Anywho....before I go any further I have to say that this will be a little bit of a personal entry for me. I don't expect any comments for this. I just want to vent some thoughts of mine. I just need to figure out some thoughts of mine. If you wish to not read this feel free to tell me if you would rather me not share these thoughts of mine. *****

The thing is there is this guy I like. I had not seen him in a while and I saw him the other day. He came up to me and gave me a hug. I have always liked him but he does NOT know that I like him. I was with some other people that he knows but he only hugged me. He has never asked me out or asked for my phone number. He is always friendly to me and he talks to me from time to time. I wonder why he hugged me. Today he didn't really speak to me however. Other times he says hello to me and smiles at me. But other times its like he doesn't act like he knows me. I wish I didn't like him. Its hard for me because I happen to like him but he has never shown any interest in me like a guy would who liked a woman in return. It could be me and I would like to think that he likes me. He probably doesn't find me cute or pretty for that matter.

Now that I made you ill with my crap I will go on to more cheerful things. The weather in my neck of the woods has been perfect. Its almost been like Summer never left. Pretty soon it will be so cold that it will feel like my fingers and toes have fallen off one by one.

Good evening everyone. I hope you all had a nice Sunday. As you might notice I changed the look of my blog I hope you like it. I also got a new haircut which is a nice change. A little bit of change can alter the way you feel emotionally and physically.

Pretty soon the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays will be coming up. I always like the holidays. What will you be doing for the holidays ? I am looking forward to spending more time with my family. What are the holidays like in your part of the world ?

Good evening everyone. I hope you all had a nice Saturday. Its definitely feeling like Winter these days. I went to go get my haircut at Great Clips. I got it cut short because I prefer my hair short. I don't like how she did it but it will be fine I'm sure.

My folks and I and my niece Megan went to Frontera Mex-Mex grill to eat. I had the taquito's which were good. Later on after eating we went to Michael's which is always fun. I got some stickers for me and my niece Megan.

I'm still reading "Happy Ever After" which is the last book in the bridal series by Nora Roberts. Its a good book and I like reading books by Nora Roberts.

In other news my folks are going to the Atlanta Falcons game which will be playing Tampa Bay. My dad of course is a huge Atlanta Falcons fan. So how was your day my dear world ? I hope that you all are enjoying your weekend.

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a nice Sunday. I know what your thinking yes its me again. It was a lovely beautiful day outside today. It wasn't too warm and it certainly wasn't cold.

My mother and I and my niece's went to Steak 'N Shake to eat. I had a BLT with no tomato. I also had cheese fries and a caramel apple milkshake. The milkshake was very very good. It had tons and tons of sweet syrupy caramel in it. Is there such a word as syrupy ???

After eating we went to Target. I got (2) cd's by Corinne Bailey Rae and Eminem. I did buy the movie "Julie and Julia" to see it again since I may have misjudged it. The movie is funny though.

I am working my way through the book "Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban" because I want to read the whole series by J.K. Rowling. We also stopped off at Kaiser so I could get a refill on one of my pills.

Are you listening my dear world ? I am not exactly the world's most fascinating person in the world. My dad went to the Atlanta Falcons game with someone he knows. They played against the Bengals. The Atlanta Falcons won which I am happy to say made my father's day since he is a die hard Falcons fan.

Some Shopping....And Harry Potter

Hello everyone

How is everyone today ? I hope you are having a nice Saturday. The weather in Georgia is pretty nice today. Last night I watched "Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire" which was good. I bought it at Target yesterday. I would like to get some of the other movies as well. Robert Pattinson who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga was in the movie. He did really great in the Harry Potter movie.

I did not finish reading "Second Glance" I am having trouble understanding the book. I did go to Target last night. I got a Beatles t-shirt which my niece pointed out to me. I also got (2) Harry Potter books I wanted including "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and the other book "Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire". I also got the book by Becca Fitzpatrick "CRESCENDO". I started reading the book and its pretty good.

I also went to Walmart and I got the book "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I heard it was a good book but I have not read it yet. By the way its almost Halloween.

I Am Recovering....And A Movie Review

Hello everyone

Hello dear world !!!! I have some news for you. On Sunday evening I was helping my father with a part of our deck that needed fixing. I was helping him when a piece of metal siding slipped and it hit my mouth.I am not into being an lumberjack or being equipped with any household problems. Though I was hurt but I have been taking pain medication. Luckily I did not have to go to the hospital but I did get hurt. I have been putting an ice pack on my mouth. I have also been staying home from work in order to get better. Do not be alarmed I am getting better.

In other news... I watched the movie "Julie and Julia" and I have to say that I thought that the movie was a little odd. The character Julie Powell was making recipes inspired by Julia Child. Watching her make the different recipes was funny however Julie Powell and Julia Child never met in the movie. I think that it would have made sense if they would have met in the movie. I myself am NOT a cook NOR do I like to cook. I am no Julia Child and I wouldn't come close to being Julia Child.

Anywho....since my mouth has been hurting I fixed me some top ramen which is as close to cooking as I will get. Perhaps top ramen could be considered fine cooking don't you think ?

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I do hope that you all had a nice weekend. This morning my family and I went to our church at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. We went for mass this morning.

After church we went to IHOP for breakfast. I ended up having hashbrowns, eggs, crispy bacon and chocolate chip pancakes. We did go to JoAnn's afterwards. The Halloween decorations are up. Its almost Halloween. I bought my niece Megan some stickers. I also got some pumpkin stickers. I also got the Twilight saga Eclipse calendar since I like the Twilight saga. I also like the Twilight books.

The weather was quite nice today. It was totally warm and in the high 70's. However it was quite cool this morning. I'm still reading "Sizzle and Burn" by Jayne Ann Krentz which is a really good book. Last night I watched "Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets" which is a good movie. I also like the books by J.K. Rowling.

So how has your weekend my dear world ? Are you getting ready for Halloween ? I like Halloween and I happen to like watching scary movies for Halloween. Anywho...have a great week ahead my dear world.

A Fun Weekend At Stone Mountain Park...

Hello dear world

Hello everyone I hope you are all well. I had a fun weekend with my family at Stone Mountain Park. We arrived Friday evening at Stone Mountain Park.

We got to the campground. My mom cooked steaks and hamburgers on the grill. I had started reading "Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. We decided on Saturday that we would spend the day at the park which was quite fun. On Friday evening instead of eating in the RV we decided to eat outside at the campsite. There were a lot of people at the campground.

On Saturday morning we had breakfast at the campsite which my dad fixed for us. We went to Stone Mountain Park for the day. We went to some of the stores there. I went into the Candy Kitchen and I got some sweets. My folks and I and my niece's went to the show there to see "Journey To The Center of the Earth" in 4D which was fun. We did stop off and we got a funnel cake and my niece's got some ice cream. My mom got a license plate for her navigator. There was a pumpkin festival going on there. Lots of young ones were decorating pumpkins. We stopped off at Miss Katie's for dinner. The food is always good at Miss Katie's. We stopped off at the store and I got some souveneirs for my coworker's. I bought my niece Jeanette a pink belt and a cute pink necklace she liked.

We left the park around 8:00pm and then we stopped off at Walmart. I ended up getting a movie called "FROZEN". I also got my niece Megan a movie. I also got the book "Torment" by Lauren Kate. There was a laser show later that evening at Stone Mountain Park.

After going to Walmart we got back to camp and we had a bonfire. I did finish reading "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone" which was quite good.

Today we had to pack up the RV and we had to leave Stone Mountain Park which is always fun. I always have a fun time camping with my family. I would like to go back to Stone Mountain again soon. This was a great and enjoyable weekend.

Hello dear world

Good evening dear world ! I hope you are all well. It was a rather beautiful day in my neck of the woods. It was another day at work for me. At the moment I am reading "Shadowland by Alyson Noel which is a very good book.

Anywho....I wanted to say that its a shame that certain people would want to protest at someone's funeral. I think that its a shame that individuals have to express themselves in a hateful manner. I think that its important that we understand that one's freedom of speech is one thing but speech that is filled with hate or prejudice is something that can destroy the freedom that we are given. I feel that someone should have the decency to rise above their opinions and their views and to understand that everyone of us has emotions and compassion. After September 11th I think that we need to rise above hate and come to some sort of human agreement to stop ourselves from hurting one another. I wish that things didn't have to be the way they are seeing people act the way they do.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this. I also wanted to say thanks to our troops fighting for our country. I hope that they are able to come home soon. I do want to offer my condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder for their loss during this sad time.

Good evening everyone !!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today my folks and I and my niece's went to Hobby Lobby. I looked around at all of the Christmas stuff and Halloween decorations. I did NOT buy anything however.

After Hobby Lobby we went over to Staples and I looked around the store. I did not need anything from there so I decided not to buy anything. I did go to Walmart with my niece Jeanette. I got a book titled "Fallen" by Lauren Kate and "Hush, Hush" by Becca Fitzpatrick and a book by Lee Child.

I am still reading "Don't Blink" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan. It is a very good book. I like the guy in the book named Nick Daniels.

So how was your Saturday my dear world ? I hope you all had a very nice day today. The weather was nice today and it was nice being out today. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. My dad will be going to the Atlanta Falcon game tomorrow with a guy that he knows. I will be home watching it on television. My father is a HUGE Atlanta Falcon fan. He loves to watch them play football.

Hello dear good evening

Hello everyone I hope you all are well. It was a nice Saturday in my neck of the woods. Earlier this morning I did finish reading "The 8th Confession" by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. The book was really good and his Women's Murder Club novels are really worth while reading. The book ended very well. The people who got murdered were killed in a very surprising way...I won't spoil the ending if you haven't read it yet.

The weather was pretty nice today. Today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to Red Lobster for lunch. I ended up getting the shrimp alfredo pasta which was quite good. I also got a mudslide drink which was combined with chocolate syrup.

After eating we went to Barnes and Noble. I got (3) books titled "Bone By Bone" by Carol O'Connell and "4th of July" by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. The other book I got is "Evermore" by Alyson Noel. I also got a book for my niece Megan she wanted. I also got a Halloween bookmark and a Edward "New Moon" bookmark.

A few minutes later we went to PetSmart where I got a ball for my puppy and a bone for him to chew on. I started reading "Evermore" which is a pretty good book. It is about sixteen year old Ever who lost her family in a car accident. Ever can see people's aura's, hear their thoughts, and know someone's life story just by touching them. Everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste. He is an immortal and he is the only one who can silence the noise and energy in her head. She is drawn into his world of secrets and mystery. She is left with more questions than answers.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone or perhaps goood morning. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I do have some news for you. It was a busy day at work for me today. Anywho...earlier today my coworker's and I which consist of me and three other women. We went to lunch at O'Charlie's to celebrate our birthday's which we are just now celebrating.

I had the loaded potato soup which was very good. It was filled with potato, melted cheese and bacon which was in bits. For the meal I had the Bayou Shrimp which was very good as well. I didn't finish my Bayou Shrimp so I carried it back to work with me. I also had a raspberry tea. At the we got a dessert with our meal which was a very tasty caramel pie which was caramel inside of a graham craacker crust. One of my other coworker's got 4 cinnamon doughnuts.

I of course remain single. I have not met anyone. No one has gotten interested in me. I would like to meet someone but it never happens. So how are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope all is well with you.

I have to tell you that I saw the season premiere of the Fox show "Bones" and I hate to say that I was very disappointed in seeing it. If it remains the way its going with the story line I might not continue watching it. I used to be a huge huge huge huge huge fan but NOT so much anymore.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. How is everyone this evening ? I hope you are all well. It was the beginning to another week at work for me. It was pretty warm in my neck of the woods.

Anywho...I did finish reading reading "Breaking Dawn" by my favorite writer Stephenie Meyer. It was the 3rd time that I have read it and I still like it. It is a good book next to my favorite of them all which is Twilight. If you have not read it you need to read it because you will be surprised. You might however want to read the books from the beginning to understand the story. I have to say that my favorite guy in the book is Robert Pattinson who plays the vampire Edward Cullen. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I have to say that I totally am happy how it ended. I also have to say that I like the movies as well. I can't wait until Eclipse is on DVD. I do want to see the movie "Breaking Dawn" at the theater.

A little while ago my niece's and I had to go to Walmart to pick up a few things. I did pick up the book "Remember Me" by Christopher Pike. I have NEVER read any of his books. I read the back cover of the book and it sounded good. I will have to read it to see what I think of it.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone. I just want to thank those of you who come to read about my day to day life. I know that my life isn't all that interesting but I just wanted to share my day with you.

Anywho...I wanted to share something with you. Yesterday two of my coworker's and I went on our lunch break and we were at a stop light. We noticed two teenager's in a car which was on the left side of us. The thing is they were so completely happy and so much in love. They were all over eachother kissing and enjoying eachother. I wonder if they were celebrating the day they met or if they were going somewhere special together. I felt that I got to take part in a moment between two people.

Why am I talking about what I saw ? Today I watched a movie called "Letters To Juliet". The movie was about an aspiring writer named Sophie who finds a 50-year-old letter. Sophie sets on a journey with the letter's author Claire and her grandson Charlie. The movie is a love story in itself. Verona, Italy is a very beautiful place. I must say that I really liked the movie and I find that it is a beautiful movie.

In other news today my folks and I and my niece Megan went for lunch at La Parrilla. My mom and I got the Texas fajitas for two. The fajitas were quite good.

After lunch we went to Hobby Lobby. The Christmas decorations and the Halloween decorations were on the shelves isn't that like opposite things ? I got some stickers for myself and my niece Megan that she wanted.

We then took a ride to JCPenney. I did purchase some socks that I needed and a cute t-shirt of a chimp playing a guitar on it. I also watched "Letters To Juliet" again which is a movie that I like. I highly recommend it as a must see movie.

How is everyone these days ? I hope you are all well. I have been wondering if I should continue this "Dear Diary" blog. I dont know if there is anyone who really cares about a few things I do from day to day. I doubt if anyone really finds my day to day life all that interesting or worth reading about.

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a really nice Saturday. Today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to Woodstock, Ga to go to the thrift store. I ended up getting two books by James Patterson, a book by Michael Connelly and a book by Nora Roberts.

My parents got some movies, some shirts, my dad got some flip flops and my mom got a picture frame that she got charged a wrong price on for which the manager corrected the cashier. My niece Megan got some Disney classics and got some picture books she wanted. Upon leaving the thrift store one of my flip flops broke and we laughed about it.

I did treat my folks to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. We all ordered taquitos and my niece Megan ordered a hamburger. At the end of lunch I ordered a thing of churro's which were quite good. They had some chocolate syrup dripped on them whith some cool whip on the side.

We did take a ride over to Rite Aid and I got some nail polish I wanted. I got some candy and I even got a new pair of flip flops at the store that my mom found for me which I liked.

All in all it was a nice Saturday. How are things in your neck of the woods ? I did want to mention that I want to say that my thoughts go out to the families and friends of those who lost someone on September 11th. We will never forget that day and we will never forget those who died. I also wanted to say that I hope our troops are doing alright and I hope that they are able to come home soon.

Happy Labor Day !!!! I hope you all had a really wonderful day. I did not have to work today since it was the holiday. I did go to a thrift store today. I found a couple of good books which were : Pop Goes The Weasel and Mary, Mary by James Patterson. I also found 2 books by Stuart Woods and 1 one book titled "Blue Smoke" by Nora Roberts.

I finished reading 3RD Degree by James Patterson and it was a good book. I am now starting to read "Blue Smoke" which is about a woman named Reena Hale who is a Arson investigator. I have been reading a lot of books lately.

Hello everyone good evening ! I hope you are all well. I have to tell you that my family and I had a nice luau for my niece Jeanette. Some of her friends came over. Some other people came over to our house for the Hawaiian luau. We had a good amount of food. My niece's cake from Publix came out really good. They were able to put her picture on the front of the cake which came out well. I'm glad that my niece had a good time.

In other news I'm still reading James Patterson's 3RD Degree which is a great book. I have always liked his books. His Women's Murder Club series is my favorite. I do wish that he would write another Alex Cross book.

The weather in Georgia has been nice. How are things in your part of the world ? I hope that all is well. My puppy Chip is also doing well. I want to wish you all a "Happy Labor" day. I will talk to you all again soon.

Hello everyone good evening my dear world. This morning my folks and I went to the MS center. My mom had an appointment with her doctor who is Dr. Jeffrey English of the MS Center of Atlanta. The appointment went well and he is a great doctor.

Before her appointment we went for breakfast at a place called "Goldberg's Bagel Company and Deli". They have the best breakfast and bagels in the world. I had a wonderful breakfast there with my folks.

After we went to the doctor we took a ride over to BJ's and I bought "3rd Degree" and "Swimsuit" by James Patterson. I started reading 3rd Degree and it is a really good book. It is part of the Women's Murder Club series. I really like his books and he is a great writer.

Anywho...how are things with you my dear world ? I hope all is well with you and your family. We are having a party for my oldest niece who graduated from High School tomorrow at our house. It should be a nice party.

Good evening dear world how is everyone today ? I hope you are well. Today was a really hard day at work for me. My coworker's and I had quite a day and it began with a meeting. I hate to say this but I do let people upset me and I end up getting really sad and upset with myself.

Anywho...I am feeling better now. I got home and I made a plate of chocolate chip cookies. The cookie dough was given to me by one of the ladies at my work who is a nice person. The cookies were quite good and I enjoyed them. The weather was nice today in my neck of the woods.

Good evening dear world how is everyone ? I hope you are all well. Today started another week at work for me. It was a very busy day today. The weather was not too bad.

Today I went to the store and I bought my mom the Jesse Stone series movie "No Remorse" with Tom Selleck as a gift. I hope the movie is good because she likes the Jesse Stone series. While I was there I bought the book "Ghost Night" by Heather Graham. I was also happy to find the book "The Postcard Killers" by James Patterson and Liza Marklund. I am a huge fan of James Patterson and his books. I have read a lot of his other books. I am still reading another one of his books "2nd Chance" which is a very good book.

So how are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope that all is well where you are my dear world. My mom is doing better and she is getting better. My family is doing well. All is well in Georgia.

>Hello dear world. How is everyone ? I hope you are well. I just got a new laptop computer which I am getting used to. Yesterday my coworker's and I went to eat at a place called Atlantic Buffet.

First you might want to know that my mom was in Piedmont Hospital because she was sick recently. I am happy to report that she is home now. I was happy to see her. I am glad to know that she is home.

Anywho....at the Atlantic Buffet is near my work. My coworker's and I went there for lunch. The food there is quite good. I had some crawfish, some fried rice, egg rolls, some chocolate dessert and some chicken. There were some people there from my work at the restaurant. I also ate some sushi while I was there. We went to eat with a lady from my work.

At the moment I am reading the book "2nd Chance" by James Patterson. I always have liked his books they are quite good. The book is interesting. I am liking the book thus far.

Hello everyone good evening !!!! I have wanted to come and tell you a few things but I have been busy with work and my life. I am now starting to catch up with you all and my reading of course. So how is everyone these days ??

Anywho...Today my folks and I and my niece's went to eat at Frontera Mex-Mex Grill which is good. I got the cheese and bean nachos which were good. There were quite a lot of people there eating.

After eating we took a ride to Great Clips nearby. We went to the camera store first which is right next door. My mom and I and my dad got our hair cut. I got my hair cut spiked because I like it short. After our hair cut we had to go back to the camera store to get our pictures developed which my mom printed out.

We then took a ride over to my favorite place in Morrow, Ga which is Barnes and Noble. I got a couple of good books to read. I also my niece Megan (2) books she wanted and a magazine for my niece Jeanette.

After the bookstore we went home for a few minutes. We then took a ride to the Shannon mall. I got a nice pair of black jeans for my trip to New Orleans with my family this Friday. I do need to find a shirt to wear with my pants.

I did start reading the book "The Whisper" by the writer Carla Neggers. There is a woman in the story named Sophie Malone who is an Archaeologist who is in Ireland. There is also a guy in the story named Cyrus "Scoop" Wisdom. He is a Boston Detective who is also in Ireland. So far the book is pretty good.

There were quite a lot of guys out riding their motorcycle's. I guess since the weather was warm it was probably a nice day to be out riding. So my dear world how is everyone these days ???

Good evening everyone. How is everyone doing ? My dear world I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you. I have an Uncle named Noel who my family and I have NOT seen or heard from in a long time.

He contacted us recently and tonight he called while my parents were out. He and I talked for a little while on the phone. He sounds the same as I remember he did. I would definitely like to see him. I wonder if he would remember me if he saw me face to face. He is a part of my family and I have thought about him and I have missed him. I told him that I thought about him on the phone. I also told him that I loved him. It was nice hearing from him on the phone. It is always nice to hear from family especially when you haven't seen them in a while. I have been wondering how he has been doing these days. I have been wanting to talk to him and I finally got the chance. I have NOT forgotten my uncle Noel. I have been wondering about him and if he has been doing alright. I wonder what he looks like now. The last time I saw him I was a little girl. He is still a part of my family and he still someone that I care about a great deal. I am glad that he called I liked the conversation that we had. I hope that we stay in contact and that perhaps one day we get to see one another.

I just wanted to share that with you my dear world. You might not know him about you would like to meet him. He was always such a great person and he was a totally wonderfully sweet person. I am glad that I got a chance to speak to him tonight. There are a lot of things I wish I could have told him. I hope you don't mind me sharing this news with you. I know that I don't often share personal news with you but I wanted to share a little part of my life with you.

Good afternoon everyone !!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. You have probably been wondering where I have been lately and why haven't I posted ???? Well I have been working and working and working and staying busy.

Anywho....it was an extremely hot sticky day in my neck of the woods yesterday. It was like a thousand degrees outside. It was hot enough to fry an egg on the ground. I have to tell you that a few days ago my mom bought me a t-shirt with the "BEATLES" on it. I am a fan of the "BEATLES". I got some people at my work and outside of the work who told me that they either had the record of the shirt I was wearing or that they were also fans of the Beatles. I have always wanted to go a Beatles concert but I have never had the chance.

After work my folks and I and my niece's went to eat at a Chinese restaurant that opened up near my work which is a courthouse. The food was quite good and delicious. My parents also liked the food. I think that the restaurant will do a lot of business with the food they have. I ate quite a bit yesterday.

Once we finished eating we went to a JCPenney store. I ended up buying a black onyx bracelet and a pair of guitar earrings that I will end up turning into a necklace. I also got (2) t-shirts I liked. One of the t-shirts has guitars on it. On our way home from JCPenney it started raining. The sky totally opened up and it rained buckets but it didn't last long.

I went to Walmart later on. I found another Beatles shirt I liked and I bought a book that I wanted. I am currently reading "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks.

Hello good evening !!!!

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well. It has been quite a week. The last couple of days in Georgia we were under constant cover of clouds and rain. It has been a week of working hard at my job and staying busy busy busy busy. Anywho...it rained like a lot in my neck of the woods. It came down like a river and I am surprised that fish didn't fall out of the sky.

I have been watching the movie "Twilight" for the umpteenth time. I also purchased the book which is part of the Eclipse movie. The book is titled "the short second life of bree tanner" by the writer Stephenie Meyer. I have all of her books and I have read them. I can't wait to read this one. I am officially obsessed with Stephenie Meyer and her books.

It did not rain today and it was another busy day today. I did purchased another book today titled "The Search" by Nora Roberts. I am a huge fan of Nora Roberts as well. I have a lot of her books as well. I did finish reading the book "Lakeside Cottage" by the writer Susan Wiggs which was a good book.

Hello everyone !!!!!!!!!!

Good evening all !!!!!! I hope you are all well. I hope you all had a great 4th of July. My family and I spent the day outside yesterday eating and having a good time. My dad and I and my niece Megan and I went to Kroger and I got some fireworks. He also got some fireworks and some other stuff as well. While I was at Kroger I picked up a book titled "Honey, Baby, Sweetheart" by the writer Deb Caletti. So far its a pretty good book. I did finish reading the book "PRIVATE" by James Patterson which was a good book. Once it got dark we did our fireworks. Our neighbors behind us did some fireworks which were pretty.

Anywho....today I was off of work. My family and I went to the mall. We walked the mall for a little while. My niece's got some tennis shoes and my mom got a pair of pants. I got a yellow cow hide purse on sale which I like. The weather was quite nice today. After the mall we went to Rite Aid and I picked up the book "Violets Are Blue" by James Patterson. I got a lot of his books which I have read. He is one of my favorite writers.

It Was A Fun Day Yesterday....

Hello everyone

Good afternoon !!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. It was a warm but fun day yesterday. My folks and I and my niece's went to the Goodwill store in Buckhead which is in downtown Atlanta. I bought soe more books by Nora Roberts and I also got a book by Nicholas Sparks.

After the Goodwill store we went to the Frontera Mex Mex Grill Mexican restaurant nearby. The food was good and we went to eat for lunch. After eating we took a ride to Great Clips to get our haircut. After I got my haircut I went into Kroger and I picked up a card for my niece Jeanette since she had to have a little medical procedure down at the doctor's office. She is getting better. I also got a book by the writer Robyn Carr which I liked.

A few minutes later we went to CVS where I got a coffee drink and I got a movie I wanted. It was a very fun day. We are planning to go to the movies today in a little while. Stone Mountain Park was FUN !!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone

Good evening how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. My family and I left Friday for Stone Mountain Park which was a nice trip. We first went to the Golden Buddha for dinner. In other news I did finish reading "Carolina Moon" by Nora Roberts which was a good book. I hate to ruin the ending for you but Tory and Cade end up together...sorry for the spoiler.

Anywho...the next day we started our trip with going out to eat at a place called "Metro Cafe". I ended up having the french toast which was quite good. Then we ended up going to Stone Mountain Park. My folks and I and my niece's saw the movie "Journey To The Center of The Earth" in 4D which was quite fun. After the movie we then went and looked in some of the stores at the park.

We decided to go to a place called "Miss Katie's" for lunch in the park. I had mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. We then went to take a "Ride On The Duck" which is a boat ride in the park. We did go to one of the stores in the park called "The Candy Kitchen" where I bought some vanilla pecan fudge and some chocolate fudge and some M & M's. We went to one of the other stores and I ended up buying (2) necklaces I liked.

After the park we went to Walmart. I got (2) movies and (2) books I wanted. It was a warm day at the park. The very next day my niece's and I and my dad spent the day at the pool at Stone Mountain Park. The water was nice and it was warm. We got back to camp and my dad put some hot dogs on the grill for dinner. It was a fun night.

On Monday we packed up and left the park. We stopped off at Peco Camper's since our camper needs some minor adjustments to it. Then we stopped off at Chick-Fil-A to eat. All in all our trip was really fun.

Good evening everyone I hope you are all well. I am sorry that I have NOT posted as much as I used to. I will try to post more often. Anywho....it was another warm steamy day in my neck of the woods of course. I am working these days and staying busy.

I wanted to tell you that I went to the Goodwill store today and I found some really great books. One of the books is by Nora Roberts and the other is by Danielle Steele. I love reading their books. I am currently starting the book "Carolina Moon" by Nora Roberts and so far its pretty good. I also got a book by the writer Stuart Woods who I have NEVER read before. I also got a book by Carla Neggars who is also one of my favorite writers.

I have to tell you that I will NOT be home this weekend since my family and I will be going to Stone Mountain Park this weekend for a little trip. I shall return after Monday so I shall have more news to share. Will any of you miss me while I'm gone ???

Hello dear world

Good evening my dear world. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all doing well. I am sorry I have NOT posted lately but here I am. Did anyone miss me ???

Anywho...it has been rather hot in Atlanta, Georgia these last couple of days. It seems that Summer has arrived a bit early. In other news it has been a busy busy busy busy week at my job. I have been working working working working nonstop. I did finish reading the book "The Perfect Summer" by Luanne Rice which was a very very good book. I highly recommend reading this book.

In other news there is this certain guy that I must confess that I like. He however does NOT know that I like him. I do like seeing him and talking to him whenever I get the chance. I don't know if he likes me but he does like talking to me apparently. I do have to say that he is a really charming guy with a great personality and he even has a great smile to add. I have to say that I have always liked this guy and I always have felt that he is a totally wonderful guy. I just thought that I would share this bit of news with you.

Hello everyone good afternoon !!!!!!! I hope you are all having a nice Memorial Day weekend. I am back I have been dealing with a few things. Anywho...yesterday my folks and I and my niece's went to church at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. After church we went for breakfast at IHOP. The food is always good there.

Once we finished eating we went to my favorite place which is Barnes and Noble. The store will be closing its location in Fayetteville, Ga pretty soon. There books are on sale which is nice. I got (2) books I wanted. I got one book by my favorite writer Diana Palmer and another book by Sandra Bricker titled "Love Finds You in Snowball Arkansas".

We drove home after the bookstore for a few minutes. We then took a ride over to the store IKEA. My father got a few things and my niece Jeanette got a rug for her room and she got another item that she wanted for her room.

It did rain in Georgia yesterday but it did NOT last long. Since its Memorial Day weekend I do hope that our troops where ever they are, are doing fine. I also want to mention the war veterans who fought for our country who appreciate our thanks for a job well done.

Last but not least my puppy Chip who is a Jack Russell Terrier has been sick recently. He has gone back and forth to the vet and he was put on some medicine which he took. He was having nausea and diarrhea and he was not doing well. He is doing much better this weekend. He has been eating quite a bit and he did NOT get sick this weekend at all. I sure hope that he is getting better.

Anywho...I just started reading the book "The 9th Judgement" by James Patterson which is a really goood book. I like James Patterson's books he is a great writer. I have some of his other books.

Anywho...this evening my folks and I and my niece's went to Truett's to eat dinner which is always good. After eating we went over to the mall. After the mall we went to Rite Aid. I bought (2) books there titled "Heart of Gold" and "On Shadow Beach". I also got a card for my coworker whose name is Harold who is in the hospital.

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? It was a rainy day in my neck of the woods today. I wanted to share with you all of my birthday. So here it is....

I officially turned "34" years old Thursday. My folks took me and my niece's Megan and my oldest niece Jeanette and her boyfriend Xavier to Benihana in Atlanta which was quite nice. Going there was fun. The food was good. My folks took pictures while we were there. They also had one of the guys who worked there to take a picture of us. My family gave me some really nice gifts which I liked. My gifts included a jewelry necklace holder, a nice candle, a book by Nicholas Sparks and some really nice soaps which looked like chocolate desserts.

Some of the people at Benihana's sang Happy Birthday to me. It was fun celebrating there. After Benihana's we stopped off at Publix where we picked up a few items. My dad bought me a chocolate cake for my birthday. They also bought a vanilla cake for Megan and Jeanette.

Once we got home they sang Happy Birthday to me. It was a really really fun day. At the moment I am reading "House Rules" by Jodi Picoult which is a very interesting book. So how are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope all is well with you.

Hello dear world

How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. The weather here has been nice in Georgia however the pollen has been......yucky yucky yucky !!!!!!!

Anywho...I am back at work and I am still busy working. I did want to share with you that my birthday is coming up on April 22 which is next Thursday. I am treating my family to the Benihana Restaurant here in Georgia for my birthday at 8:00pm. I already called and made reservations at the Buckhead location which is located on 2143 Peachtree Road. I think it will be fun to go and eat there for my birthday. I think it will be fun to celebrate my birthday there. We will be sitting at a table where they cook your food at the table.

So how are you my dear world ? I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Are you covered in pollen as we are ???

Hello dear world

How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I and my family are home !!!!!!!! We got back yesterday evening from our camping trip. We stayed at a place called "Big Lagoon State Park" at campsite #45. We were in Pensacola, Florida which was nice.

The second day of our trip we went to eat at a place called "The Crab Trap Restaurant" which was good. I had a shrimp po'boy which was good. After eating my father and I and my niece's went to go walk near the beach. The sand was sugar white and it is beautiful.

Later on we went to Walmart to pick up a few things. I bought a "New Moon" tote bag since I like the movie. I also got a St. Patrick's Day t-shirt. The next day we went to a Catholic Church in Florida which had a Easter mass.

The next day we woke up and we went to church. After church we found this place to eat called "Seville Diner" which had some very good food. I ordered a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips which were quite delicious.

When we got back to camp my niece's and I went for a walk on the boardwalk nearby. While on the trail we saw a snake which was by a log and it was a big snake. We continued to walk on the trail which was nice. We could not find our way back to our campsite so my folks came and found us. We decided to go to eat at the Oyster Bar and Restaurant which is a nice place to eat on the water. It is right by the marina there. My mom and I had the soft shelled crabs. The Oyster Bar and Restaurant was a nice place to eat.

After eating we went to pick up a few things at Winn Dixie. I got a bone for my dog Chip and a book by Nora Roberts. I finished reading the book "The Last Song" by Nicholas Sparks which was a very good book.

The next day my family and I went to the beach. There were quite a few jellyfish in the water and on the beach as well. I found some hermit crabs in the water. The weather was quite nice. We saw a wren on the beach which followed us around the beach.

After the beach we went to eat at a place called "Triggers". I ordered some soft shelled crabs but they were not as good as the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. I did not order anymore while I was on my trip.

We all got bit up by no see ums while we were on our trip. We put everything and everything we could to stop the itching. We did go to Walmart to pick up a few more things. The very next day my folks and I and my niece's went to a different beach. My dad drove us to another beach which was outside of the park. The weather was really nice.

After going to the beach we went to Triggers to eat. I got a crab cake which I wasn't a fan of but it was alright. I did get a chocolate silk pie which was good. It was another day camp. We went to the Waffle House to eat. After eating my folks and I and my niece's went to spend the day at the Naval Aviation Museum. I saw various planes and I learned about the Hubble Telescope. I also learned some aeronautical history. We got back to camp and we ate dinner at our campsite.

The next day it was supposed to rain but it didn't. My family and I went to the Seville Diner to eat. The food is always good there. After eating we stopped off at The Dollar General. We then took a drive to the Pensacola Dog Track. We ended up finding that the dogs don't run until Friday.

After going to the Dog Track my family and I decided to go the Shrimp Basket which is a tiny tiny place. I got the fried crab claws but they were not my favorite either.

We did go to the library there in Florida and I bought two books for a $1.00. My niece Megan got to rent some movies. We stopped off at CVS before going back to camp. We made plans to go back to the Dog Track the next day.

The next day we spent the day at the beach which was outside of the state park. The weather was quite wonderful. I got to fly a kite at the beach. We also spotted some dolphins that were swimming in the ocean which was fun to see. I got in the water and I got some seashells while I was there.

After the beach we got back to camp and took our showers. We ate hot dogs at camp. A little while later we went to the dog track. We won a little bit of money back at the track. Once the dog track ended we took a ride to a ice cream parlor which was closed. We decided to stop off at a little Chinese restaurant and then we stopped off at Sonic's to get some ice cream.

The next day which was Saturday we packed up the trailer and we left the state park. We did not get home until 9:00pm. The weather was nice on our way home. Once we got home my folks and I went to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse while my niece's stayed home. My mom and I ordered the ribeye which is always good. We then got to share a dessert which was the chocolate stampede. It is a dessert of two slices of chocolate cake and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. The dessert was very very delicious.

We are already talking of going camping somewhere else pretty soon. I can't wait to go camping again. So how are you my dear world ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I will talk to you all again soon.

Good evening all !!!!!!! I hope you are all well. It was a very very very beautiful day in my neck of the woods. It is warm in Georgia......finally. It was another busy day for me at work of course.

Anywho....You might want to know that I will be going out of town this coming week. My family and I will be leaving Saturday morning for Pensacola, Florida. We will be going camping once again.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!!! I hope you all had a really nice Sunday. I had a nice day today. Early this morning my family and I went to church for Palm Sunday. I bought (2) bracelets that I liked at church.

After church we went to IHOP for breakfast. Then we went over to Staples where I bought some ink and a journal I liked. I also bought a book for my niece Megan wanted for her stickers.

We also took a ride over to JCPenney nearby. I ended up buying some t-shirts I liked and a new purse I wanted for Springtime. My purse has Spring colors in it and I like it a lot.

It did rain earlier today but later on the rain left. It was a little cool in my neck of the woods. I did some picking up in my room today which it is looking good in my room.

Anywho...tomorrow starts another week at work for me. I hope that you will all have a good week ahead. I shall talk to you again later.

A Little Bit of Shopping....

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone !!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a really nice Saturday. It was a little cool today in my neck of the woods. Today was a wonderfully fun day. My folks and I and my niece's went to Buckhead for the opening of "Just Loaf'n" which was a bust. They didn't have any shrimp or crawfish prepared. The oyster sandwiches that my folks ordered apparently was not good. I ordered some beignets but they were nowhere close to tasting like the ones in New Orleans.

Anywho....since "Just Loaf'n" was a bust we decided to go to Discover Mills Mall in Lawrenceville, Ga. which is located on Sugarloaf Parkway. They have a Bass Pro Shop there that includes the mall. My dad stayed in the Bass Pro Shop while my mom and I and my niece's decided to walk the mall. I found some magnets at a store called "Earthbound Trading Company" which is a very fascinating store. They have stuff there from all over the world. We went into another store which had some chinese items and I ended up finding a plant to go in my room. My mom also got a plant that she wanted.

We walked around in some of the various stores which was fun. We eventually ended up at "Books -A- Million". I ended up finding (2) books there titled "Between the Tides" by the writer Patti Callahan Henry and "House Rules" by Jodi Picoult. We did walk back to the Bass Pro Shop to meet up with my dad. I did buy some Pokemon cards for my niece Megan at the store. She is into Pokemon. I also bought a book for my mom for her coins that she collects.

After Discover Mills mall we went to "The Varsity" to eat. Its always fun to go there and eat. The food is always good and their frozen orange drink is always good to drink. The place is always always packed and busy.

In other news I did finish reading "The Girl Who Chased The Moon" which was a very good book. I am about to start reading "Between the Tides". So my dear world how was your day ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope you get to enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello dear world

Good evening all !!!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I do hope that you are all well. Today was another day at work for me of course. It wasn't as nice outside as it was yesterday but it was alright.

I do have some very exciting wonderful and happy news that I want to share with you. A while back I went to my doctor at Kaiser and I had to get an ultrasound. At that time they had saw a cyst on my ovaries which they wanted to make sure had not grown. I went back to Kaiser on Tuesday and I had another Ultrasound done. I am happy to report that I got the news today that my Ultrasound test came back free and clear. They did NOT see anything on my ovaries at all which I am happy about. I am very happy about my test results and I am happy to say that I am doing quite well and I am doing fine. My test results are good and my worries are gone.

I wanted to share my news with you and I hope the rest of you are in good health. My family is doing well too. Today is definitely one of my better feel good days and I am happy to report that I am feeling quite good today.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I have quite a bit of news to share with you. Yesterday my family and I went to JCPenney Outlet and I bought a t-shirt, some Vanilla amber room fragrance and a bone for my Jack Russell Chip.

After we went to Barnes and Noble and I got three books including the book "The Girl Who Chased The Moon". After the bookstore my folks and I went to go get our haircut at Great Clips. My hair is a little shorter than it was before.

Once we got home from Rite Aid my niece's and I went to Blockbuster and I got the movie "New Moon" which I wanted to see.

Anywho....today was a wet, grey rainy day in my neck of the woods. My folks and I went to the Monastery in Conyers, Georgia. It is a very very peaceful place there. I got my mom (2) medallions one of them was a Padre Pio medallion. I also got her a Saint Benedict prayer book. I also picked up a few things including some prayer cards. I also bought some Maple Walnut Fudge that the monks make homemade. We did go into the Bonsai garden and my mom got some Bonsai trees. My dear world I do need to work on my forgiveness skills. I tend to not forgive people easily and I find it hard to let go of my anger sometimes. I will work on that.

After the Monastery we stopped off at Home Depot to pick up a few things. We got home just in time because the rain started coming down pretty hard. About 8:00 in the evening I went out on the deck in our backyard and I looked up to see a rainbow. I immediately called my mother and my niece Jeanette to see it. My mother and father saw and both of my niece's saw it. It was the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen in my life.

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone ??? I am sorry that I have NOT been around lately. I have been quite busy with working and getting some things done in my bedroom which needed doing. I had quite a lot of work to do in my room that just could NOT wait any longer. My room is finally done and I am loving it. I have a beach theme in my room which I am enjoying.

Anywho....on March 10th of this year at St. Philip Benizi we had a parish mission at my church. We were visited by two very wonderful people named Jerry and Cricket Aull. I have to tell you that they are two of the most greatest people to come to our church. Jerry I must admit is a very very very very very talented musician. My mother and I fell in love with his music and I have two of his CD's which I love. He has the greatest singing voice in the entire world. They have a website you can check out at JerryandCricketaull.com which you should go over and visit. They both taught me a lot of things while visiting our church. While he was there he had us introduce ourselves to people that we have never met before and I did. I met this woman named Terry and she was a very sweet person.

I am still busy at work these days of course. I have been working and my family is doing well. My family and I are planning to go to Pensacola, Florida on the week of April 5th. We have NOT been to Florida in quite a while so it should be fun.

Good evening everyone !!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I wanted to show you a picture of the place where we went for Beignets in New Orleans and a picture of the SuperDome in New Orleans.

I haven't been here to share news with you in a few days which I am sorry of. Its been rather frosty in Georgia and in other parts of the world. Its time to catch you up on a few things. Its been a pretty busy couple of days at work for me, we got a light dusting of snow a few days ago, its still Wintertime,my family and I are back from New Orleans. I went to the doctor today so I didn't go into work today since I had an appointment earlier today. I had a physical I have to go for an appointment to the OBGYN for a little check up. All in all my physical at Kaiser went well and I am doing fine.

Anywho...I am totally longing for Summertime how about you my dear world ? How are things in your part of the world ??

Hello dear world

How is everyone this evening ? I hope you are all well. We made it back from our trip to New Orleans on Sunday night around 8:00pm. We left on Thursday morning. We stayed at a RV park and we went to a place called Lucky Jean's for some shrimp po'boys which were very very good. Our first day was very wonderful.

The next day we went to a place called "New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co". The place had good shrimp po boys and we all liked the po boys. We did take a ride down to the French Quarter. We went to my favorite place called "Cafe Du Monde" We ate beignets and drank coffee. The beignets were very very good and the place was packed. The French Quarter was quite fun.

We got back to camp and we went to visit my uncle Merlin. My uncle Merlin after visiting with us at one of my relatives house asked us if we wanted some beignets and so we said yes. He took us to a place callled "Morning Call" which had really good hot chocolate and the best beignets in the world. It was fun going there to get beignets.

By the way I did finish reading "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks which was a very sad but wonderful book. I am working on reading "Bed of Roses" by Nora Roberts. Dear John was a very very sad but great love story. It was about a guy named John Tyree and a yong woman named Savannah Lynn Curtis.

On Saturday my family and I did go to Janet's funeral and it was a very nice ceremony. They had two people sing at the funeral but it was very sad though. On Sunday we left the campsite and we got on the road.

On Monday my niece Jeanette and my dad went to pick up our dog Chip. He did lose a little bit of weight while he was away at the doggie day care. He is back with us and he is doing well. He didn't want to eat apparently while he was at the doggie day care. Thankfully he is doing well and eating as much as he ever did.

Quick Update....And Some Rather Sad News

Hello dear world

Good evening how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I do have some great news and some rather sad news but do NOT be alarmed. We are all well and we are passed the snow.

In other news tomorrow my family and I will definitely be going to New Orleans for a little trip. My mom got a call the other day and it was sad news. One of her dear friends whose name is Janet passed away recently in New Orleans. We are leaving home tomorrow to go to her funeral in New Orleans, Louisiana. She and some of my other relatives came to see us last summer which was nice. My mom was saddened by the news. I and my niece's and my dad bought my mom a card and a small rose bush to let her know that we were thinking of her during this sad time. My mom was close to her friend Janet and so we are leaving town early tomorrow to get down there. I am glad we are able to go to the funeral and the weather is supposed to be nice in New Orleans so hopefully the weather will continue to hold for us.

Anywho...the other night my family and I went to see the movie "Avatar". I have to say that at first I did NOT want to see it but I was quite wrong. I think that the movie was quite good and it was very well made. It was also in 3-D which made it that much better. James Cameron should be proud of his movie. However it is still a little cold in my neck of the woods but thankfully the snow is gone and we are all getting along well. I hope that my mom is able to get through this sad time a little more each day. I am sure that it is sad for her to lose such a dear friend.

We will be picking him up on Monday and I am missing him already. Chip is such a sweet puppy and we all love him dearly. He is a cute Jack Russell Terrier and I can't wait to see him on Monday. I hope that the doggie daycare is taking good care of him.

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I do hope that you are all well. Yesterday it was a very cold wet grey sleepy kind of day. I had to go to work of course. I went to a store with my coworker's and I found a book that I liked. The book is by one of my favorite writer's Nora Roberts which is titled "Midnight Bayou". The book is set in the Bayou country of Louisiana.

I am quite happy to report that on the week of February 13th I will be going with my family to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras which I can't wait to go. I have NOT been to New Orleans in a while.

My father and I and my niece's did go to Blockbuster to get some movie's. I got the movie "Possession" with Gwyneth Paltrow which is a great great movie. I wanted to get the movie "New Moon" but it won't be out until March 20th. I would like to see the movie again.

Of course the Superbowl Game is this Sunday. I hope that the New Orleans Saints win the Superbowl. That would be great for the city of New Orleans.

Today it was another cold frozen kind of day. Winter just never seems to end. My folks and I went to Fantastic Sam's to get our hair cut. I like the way the hair stylist did my hair. I finally found a hair stylist that can actually cut my hair.

We also went to Tuesday Morning and I found some note cards that I liked. A friend of mine sent me a very nice letter and a special little gift which was appreciated. There is something about a letter that is such a treasure.

For dinner we stopped off at a place called "Firehouse Sub's". We got some sandwiches to take home. Firehouse Subs have better subs than Subway I must say. I would like to go there again and get another sub sandwich which I found was quite good. The pastrami was wonderful and so was the seasoning on the sandwich.

Good evening everyone !!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all doing well. Today was a rather cold frozen day today. You might want to know that I did finish reading the book "Blame It On Paris" which was a good book. I am now currently reading the rather delicious book "The Chocolate Cupid Killings" by the writer JoAnna Carl since its getting closer to Valentines Day.

Anywho...today my folks and I and my niece's went to the store Michael's. I did purchase some stickers for my youngeest niece Megan who will be celebrating her 10th birthday tomorrow at Stevie B's pizza.

After Michael's we went to JCPenney where I got myself (2) necklaces I liked and one of them is for Valentines Day since it is a heart necklace. I also got some bars of Godiva milk chocolate bars as well as some milk chocolate Godiva pearls which I wanted. I happen to like chocolate and I like to see, smell and taste chocolate which to me is rich,creamy and decadently sweet. I love the color of chocolate as well.

I do have some rather sad news to report however. Soon the doors of Barnes and Noble will be closing due to the property that it sits on in Fayetteville, Georgia where I have been a shopper. I am sad to say that it will NOT be reopening. I am quite saddened by the news.

Quick Update...And I Love To Read

Hello dear world

Good evening everyone !!!!! How is everyone these days ??? I am feeling a little bit better these days. I won't talk politics for a while. I am sorry if I sounded a little harsh. I just wanted to express some feelings.

Anywho...I have been working a lot these days at work which is keeping me busy busy busy busy busy and more busy. I am still reading books of course which is one of my favorites of hobbies. Right now I am reading a book titled "Blame It On Paris" by the writer Jennifer Greene. The story makes me want to go to Paris but reading the book is the next best thing. There is a guy in the book named Will Maguire I am totally in love with. The story is wonderful and fun to read.

Since its almost Valentines Day....by the way Valentines Day is February 14th so if you haven't done any shopping for the occasion you better hurry. I bought two more books today both of them by my favorite of writer's Nora Roberts. One of the books I bought is titled "Bed of Roses" and "Night Tales" which should get me more and more into the mood for Valentines Day.

So how are you my dear world ?? I hope everyone is doing well. It was cold in my neck of the woods today. I am so longing for Summertime and I can't wait for the warm weather. I hope things are well in your neck of the woods.

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Here I am....again. Well I am sad to report that Haiti was hit by yet another earthquake. Haiti is being thrown by every problem they could possibly have. I hope that things turn around in Haiti for Haiti itself and its people. Its sad to hear about Haiti on the news.

As for my news its been a pretty busy couple of days at work. I have been working and working. The weather has been pretty decent however. Its supposed to rain tomorrow however.

I did finish reading "The Temptation of the Night Jasmine" which was a very good book. I am now reading "Slow Burn" by the writer Julie Garwood. So far its a pretty good book and I am liking it.

I hate to do this but I feel like I need to rant a little about our President who I feel is being treated harshly by the media and people. At the moment a lot of people don't seem to like President Barack Obama. Its like nothing he says or does or tries to do is any good or enough for people. There are people who don't want to focus on Health Care even though it is in bit of a mess. It seems that certain people are more than anxious to see President Barack Obama fail than they would to see him succeed in the White House. President Barack Obama is being treated like an inept leader of our country which I feel is wrong. He isn't just the President of the United States he is a human being, a father and a husband and we as a nation should try and support him without always questioning his abilites as a world leader. I think that he is doing the best job that he can possibly do and he is just getting a bad treatment thus far. I think that he deserves all of us to cut him a little slack for what he is trying to do. I think that we make mistakes and we are a little less than perfect. I have to say that I think that President Obama deserves a little bit more understanding and appreciation of a very hard job. Sometimes we all forget that our jobs can be hard and challenging and even trying. I think that Barack is a very decent human being as well as Presidential leader even if he never gets to hear that. I wonder if anyone ever stops to tell him that he is doing a job well done.

Dear Mr. President you are doing a great job thank you. There is someone out in the world who is taking a moment to show a little appreciation.

My Saturday....

Hello dear world

Good evening all !!!! I hope you are all well. How are things in your part of the world ? It rained today in my neck of the woods. Anywho...today my folks and I and my niece Megan went to Chick Fil A for breakfast. My oldest niece was not feeling well so she did NOT come with us.

After breakfast my folks and I went to go get our hair cut at Great Clips. I got a little bit more cut off at the hair salon. I prefer my hair short I must say. Its easier having short hair.

Anywho...after getting our hair cut we took a ride to Beall's outlet but I ended up going to a different bookstore called "Bookland" which was fun. I purchased two books titled "The Seduction of the Crimson Rose" by Lauren Willig and "The Temptation of the Night Jasmine" by Lauren Willig. I like her books and I already had one of her other books "The Secret History of the Pink Carnation" which was a good book. I can't wait to read her books I got today. Lauren is a terrific writer. I did go into Bealls where I picked up a movie with Tom Selleck and some things for my dog Chip. While I was at Bookland I also purchased a nice bookmark that I liked. I also renewed my member's card to Bookland. They have tons and tons of books there. I am a fan of all kinds of books.

My dog CHIP is doing just fine and he is just as nutty as usual. I got home and I watched the movie "Adam" with Hugh Dancy and I must say that I didn't like all that well. The whole thing was just too nutty for me. I like Hugh Dancy but the movie just did NOT fit my liking. I wish that they would have explained Asperger's Syndrome in the movie since Hugh played a character who had it. I felt that the movie was just too much for me and the ending left me wanting a different ending altogether.

I have been working as usual but this weekend I am not working. I have been also doing different things. In other news it rained today in Georgia and it was a little bit cold as well. My dear world I hope that you had a really nice Saturday.

A Cold Frozen Day....

Good evening everyone !!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a great Friday as I did. Today I did NOT have to go to work because of the weather. They called me and they closed my job due to snow. We did get a little bit in my neck of the woods but not a lot. It is basically ice now. My folks and I and my niece's went for lunch at a place called Ryan's which has some good food. We had the lunch buffet which was good.

After eating we stopped off at two pawn shop's where we all picked up some good DVD's we wanted. I got a few I wanted as well. After going to the pawn shop's we stopped off at Michael's where I got some Valentine's Day stickers and some Valentine's Day ornaments. I like Valentine's Day as much as the Christmas holiday season. I like seeing all the Valentine's Day decorations in the stores. I am a bit of a romantic at heart.

Anywho...it has been a cold frozen day today but I did manage to go out with my family despite the cold weather. I am hoping that Summer will come quickly this year. It has been cold for a while now.

How are things in your part of the world ? Did you all have a great New Year's Eve ? I hope your holidays have been a good one. I hope you all have a wonderful and fun weekend ahead. I am currently reading a book by Patricia Cornwell called "Cause of Death" which is an interesting book. I have been reading a lot of books and I am having a good time reading.

Since its almost Valentine's Day I have changed my page so it looks a little like Valentine's Day with the pink color. Do you like Valentine's Day ??

By the way...I did stop off at Kaiser with my family and I finally got my regular Flu shot and the H1N1 Flu shot. I had to get my shots in both arms which are hurting at the prior moment.

Hello dear world

Good evening all. How was your Sunday ? Early this morning my folks and I went to mass at our church which is named St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. We had a lecter today who was reading from the Gospel and he ended up in tears. No one knew why he was crying until our pastor told us that his mother had passed away on Christmas Day. I didn't know him or his mother but I wish I had. It was sad to see him crying in church because he seems like a really nice person.

The thing is I don't always know the right thing to say to a person who has had such a loss. I am sure that he and his mother were close. Our pastor said that she was a very sweet person and he really loved his mother the way he expressed his grief in church this morning. I wish I could have offered him my condolences to him and his family but I didn't get the chance.

Seeing the guy in church this morning made me think of a coworker of mine who lost her husband recently. She was married to him for quite a while and she really really loves her husband. She is still having a hard time getting over the loss of her husband. I can't really begin to know how it feels to lose a husband or a mother but I still feel that it is certainly a hard thing to go through at such a moment in one's life.

I may not always say the right thing or to feel what its like for a person who is going through such a loss. I hope that the guy at my church is able to find comfort in the love of family, friends and loved ones who knew his mother. I also hope that my coworker is able to find some comfort in family and friends.

I said a prayer for him and my coworker in church this morning but I don't know if my words helped any or if they will know that I do care how they are feeling. I do buy my coworker cards from time to time to let her know that I am thinking about her. I don't know if a card can ever help to ease one's heart from a little of its pain. I do hope that those who are going through such a loss are comforted by those that they love.

These words of mine might NOT make any sense of what I am feeling but maybe I am able to express what I felt this morning.

A Very Cold Day....And Buying A Bra Or Two

Good evening all !!!!!! How was your day today ? I hope you were all able to have a wonderful Saturday. For me it was a very very cold frozen day.

My family and I did take a trip to Macy's ----> For those of you men reading this you may not want to read this part of my entry. Today I did take a trip to Macy's as I was saying and I had to do something most women do....which is to buy a bra. For me I ended up getting three Playtex 18 hour bra's without the wire. I have to say that I absolutely hate bra's with wire they are the most dreadful horrible things to wear as a woman. I am in love with my new bra's which are comfortable and they fit me perfectly.

Today we also went to my favorite bookstore "Barnes and Noble". I got (3) books and here they are : "Sizzle" by Julie Garwood, "Pretty in Plaid" by Jen Lancaster and "The Chocolate Cupid Killings" by Joanna Carl. I also bought some bars of Godiva chocolate for me and my niece Jeanette.

We also went to Blockbuster and I rented some movies. One of the movies I rented was "My Life In Ruins" with Richard Dreyfuss. The movie was very funny and it was like being in Greece without having to step on a plane. I loved Richard Dreyfuss he made the move worth watching.

Good evening everyone. How are all of you today ? I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. It has been quite cold in my neck of the woods. How is the weather in your part of the world ?

In other news....it was another day at work for me. It has been pretty quiet at work these last few days with the Christmas holiday and all. I wanted to let you know that I am in the middle of reading a really good book titled "The Sound of Sleigh Bells" by the writer Cindy Woodsmall. It is a story about a woman named Beth Hertzler and a man named Jonah Kinsinger. Beth is in mourning over her fiancee and she decides to cut herself off from any hope of happiness. She comes upon a carving by the artist Jonah who holds the answer to both her past and the future. The question is can Beth move beyond her past and into the future ?

The book is really really quite good. It is one of those heartwarming stories that you hate to stop reading. I find that I like the book and it is the first one that I have read by Cindy Woodsmall. I find that Cindy is a very good writer and I would like to read more of her books in the future.

Hello and Merry Christmas everyone

Good evening all !!!!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful and memorable Christmas. I sure did with my family and my niece's.

Anywho...today was a wonderful Saturday. Earlier today my folks and I and my niece's went to La Parrilla to eat. I had a shrimp quesadilla wich was good. It was cold in the place however.

After eating we drove to the store Old Navy since my cousin Aaron and his wife gave her a gift card to the store for Christmas. My niece Megan and I went to Ross which was picked clean. I did purchase a nice black journal I wanted.

Later on we took a ride to Pier 1 Imports which is always fun. I found an unusual frog Christmas ornament, a blank notebook for my mom, a corkscrew for my dad and (2) bars of solid milk chocolate Godiva bars. I gave one of my chocolate bars to my niece Jeanette.

We then went to Toys "R" Us since my niece Megan got a gift card from my cousin Aaron and his wife for Christmas. She got a few things and I ended up purchasing the movie "Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince" there.

We also went to Blockbuster where my niece Megan got one and I rented the movie "I Hate Valentine's Day" with Nia Vardalos and John Corbett. I also bought my dad a war movie which he likes. I also purchased the "New Moon" calender which I wanted at Blockbuster.

We then took a ride to Kohl's. I found (2) cute Sesame Street t-shirts which were 2 for $20.00. I also bought some cards I wanted for myself and my coworker Francis. I also got my niece Jeanette a necklace she liked and I got a necklace as well that my mom picked out for me.

All in all it was a wonderful weekend and I had a lot of fun. How was your Christmas my dear world ? I hope you all had a wonderful and enjoyable holiday with your family and loved ones. I will talk to you all again soon.

Hello everyone

Good evening all !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season. I have NOT done any Christmas shopping yet.

Anywho....it did NOT rain for a change it was pretty decent in my neck of the woods. It was another busy day for me at work. I finished reading "Knit the Season" by Kate Jacobs which was a very good book. I am now reading "Finger Lickin' Fifteen" by Janet Evanovich who writes some pretty funny interesting books. I can't wait to read more of it.

On a different note yesterday my boss gave me my job review at work and I am happy to announce that he gave me a very high score on my job review so I guess I still have a job to go tomorrow which I am proud of. I have to say that I am still working and I am working hard as usual.

Hello everyone

How are all of you these days ? I hope you are all doing well. It was a very cold and rainy day in my neck of the woods. My folks and I and my niece's went to Michael's today and I found some cute stickers. We then went to La Parilla Mexican Restaurant to eat. I ended up getting the cheese and beans nachos which were good. After eating we went to Kohl's where I purchased a really cute Christmas ornament for one of my coworker's.

I did want to show you some pictures of my 7 month old puppy Chip. Chip is doing fine and he is just as cute as ever. Chip is a very cute puppy and we all are enjoying him immensely.

Hello everyone

Good evening how is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. The pictures in my entries are of holiday decorations we have at the house where we live. These are a few of our Christmas decorations. I hope you all like them.

Anywho....my folks and I and my niece Megan went to a huge store called "BJ's" which is nice. I looked at their books and I found one by the writer Fern Michael's titled "Plain Jane". I also liked their Christmas decorations. They have quite a lot at BJ's.

After going to BJ's we went to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse. I ended up having the 7oz. Ribeye with mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad which was good. My mom also had the Ribeye. They have good food at Longhorn Steakhouse.

In other news it was a very cold day in my neck of the woods and it is still cold outside. So how are things in your part of the world ?? I do hope that you are all enjoying your Christmas holiday. I have NOT done any Christmas shopping yet.

It was another day at work for me. I just finished reading "Dashing Through The Snow" by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark. The book was a holiday one and I liked it. Good evening all !!!!!!! How was your day today ? I hope you all had a really wonderful weekend. While I was home I and my family put up our Christmas tree and some other Christmas decorations. I love this time of year. Are you ready for Christmas ???

Anywho....today started another week at work for me. It was a very busy day today. It has been rather cold in my neck of the woods. How is the weather in your neck of the woods ? It is almost Christmastime. My family and I are doing well. Today I did purchase the book "Deck The Halls" and "The Christmas Thief" by Mary Higgins Clark.

So how are things in your part of the world ? My dog Chip is apparently getting better thank goodness. My dad had to go to Kaiser today and apparently he has Bronchitis and he is taking medication for it. Hopefully he will be better by Christmas.

A Nice But Cold Saturday....

Good evening all !!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today it was a rather cold cold day in my neck of the woods. My folks and I and my niece Megan went over to Hobby Lobby which is a fun place to go shopping at. While I was there I picked up (2) cute Christmas ornaments and and some Christmas stickers that I liked. I also got some Christmas plates and napkins for a Christmas Eve party that my family and I are going to have on Christmas Eve. A lot of people were there looking at the Christmas ornaments. There Christmas aisle was getting cleaned out by people like me. My niece Megan also picked out a Christmas ornament she liked.

Anywho....after shopping we went over to this place called "China Cafe" to get some food to take home. The food was pretty good. I have to say that I would like to go back there to get some more Chinese food. We did stop off and got my niece Megan a Big Mac from MacDonald's since she likes hamburgers.

Hello everyone

Good evening to you all. I hope you are all well. It was another day at work for me. After work my mother and I and my oldest niece had to take our puppy Chip to the vet. He is NOT feeling well at all. He has been spitting up and he had diarrhea last week. We took him and they gave him a shot for the nausea and they put fluid in him under his skin. He looks like he swallowed a really large turtle. He was NOT able to eat or drink today after going to the vet since he was given fluids. Hopefully he gets to feeling better.

Anywho...I am reading the book "Dashing Through The Snow" by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark. It is the perfect book to read for the holidas. I finished reading "I, Alex Cross" by James Patterson which was quite good.

This evening I taped the old classic movie "84 Charing Cross Road" with Anthony Hopkins which is a really good movie. So how are you my dear world ? I hope you are all well. Its supposed to be cold tomorrow. I put up Christmas colors since its almost Christmastime.

A Nice Sunday....

Hello everyone

Its after 10:00pm here so good evening everyone. How is everyone today ? I hope you all had a nice Sunday. I had a really nice day and the weather was perfect. My folks and I and my niece's went down to Newnan, Georgia for the day. We first went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch which was good -----> http://www.rubytuesday.com/ . I had a chicken quesadilla and a salad from the salad bar. My lunch was good and I ordered a Raspberry tea which was quite good. My family tasted it and they liked it. The waiter was very nice and I joked around with him. My family also enjoyed their lunch.

After lunch we went to a Great Clips nearby and my mom and I and my dad got our hair cut. I like the way one of the women cut my hair and my mom also liked her hair cut and my dad liked his. I am back to having short hair again. I like my hair when its really short instead of having it grow out. I want to keep it short for the Christmas holiday.

We also went to TJMaxx where I looked at all of the Christmas ornaments and stuff which was fun. In the end I found one of the Jane Austen movies. The movie is titled "Jane Eyre". I happen to be a Jane Austen fan and I always like her classics. My mom found a basket she liked. It was fun going there and looking around and finding a movie I wanted.

After TJMaxx we went to CVS where my folks picked up a few items. My dad is sick with the cold now. I am completely better and now he is sick with a cold. He got some cough drops and I gave him some cold medicine tablets once we got to the house.

Anywho...I hope you all had an enjoyable Sunday. Of course tomorrow I have to go back to work since I was off for the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope you all have a great week ahead. I will talk to you again soon.

Good evening !!!!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. You might want to know that I went out today. My folks and I and my oldest niece Jeanette went to the mall. We went to both Macy's and Sears. We looked around the mall today which was fun.

My mom bought my niece Jeanette a nice grey dress coat that she liked. My dad bought himself some dress pants, a dress shirt and a tie. My folks bought some pillows and my niece also bought a pillow. Me and my niece each got a case for our cellphone's. The guy was nice enough to only charge us $15.00 and he gave us the clips to put on the back of our cases for free. After the mall we went to eat Mexican near the mall. We finished eating and we went to a pawn shop. My folks got some movies. My mom bought a ring there. My niece got her a movie and I bought (2) movies including "Bruce Almighty" with Jim Carrey and "Born Yesterday" with Melanie Griffith.

Tomorrow we are going to Newnan to go to a few other places. I plan to go get my hair cut tomorrow as well. I can't wait to go and get my hair cut as well. I plan to do some window shopping but I am not going to buy anything.

Hello everyone

Good afternoon !!!!!!!!! How was everyone's day today ? Early this morning my folks and I and my oldest niece Jeanette went shopping at a few stores at 5:00 this morning. The lines and the stores were packed with people. We went over to JCPenney and I purchased myself some brown dress pants and a nice chocolate colored sweater and the store gave me a free gift as I entered the store. We also went to Toys "R" Us and I bought my dog Chip a play pen. My dog Chip is doing well and he is quite the cute puppy. I am glad that he is with my family and I.

Anywho....we also went to Kohl's this morning and there were some people shopping there as well. I bought some Christmas ornaments including an Atlanta Falcons Christmas ornament for my dad since he likes the Atlanta Falcons football team.

After shopping we went to eat at the Waffle House where we had some breakfast. So my dear world how was your day ? Have you done any shopping today ?? I hope you enjoy your day and keep me posted.

A Nice Thanksgiving....

Hello everyone

Good evening !!!!!!!! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. My folks and I and my niece's went to church early this morning for the Thanksgiving Day mass which was nice. We then went to eat at IHOP which is always good. I had the hearty ham and cheese omelet and the Pecan pancakes. One of the waitresses brought me some pecan pie filling and some roasted peanuts to put on my pancakes which was quite good.

After IHOP we got home and fixed our Thanksgiving meal which consisted of a turkey, some dressing, some yams with marshmallow's, peas, some stuffing, cranberry sauce and some sparkling grape juice. Our meal was quite good and we ate together in the dining room at our house.

A little while ago I went with my sister and my niece's to Blockbuster to get some movies. I ended up renting "Four Christmases" with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. I will tell you about it after I see it. I also got the movie "The Ugly Truth" with Gerard Butler. I will tell you about it after I see it as well.

So how was your Thanksgiving with your family and friends ? I hope your day was a nice one. Tomorrow I plan to go out with my folks to the stores and look around. I might buy a couple of things tomorrow you never know.

Good evening. How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. I would like to wish you all a very "HAPPY THANKSGIVING". It has been a short week for me at work. I will be off of work for Thanksgiving.

I just finished reading "The Perfect Christmas" by Debbie Macomber which was quite good. She writes very good books and I highly recommend reading it. I also finished reading "One Shot" by Lee Child which was very good. At the moment I just started reading "I, Alex Cross" by James Patterson which is a very interesting book. Jame Patterson has a way of writing very page turning books which keep you reading. Have you read any books recently ???

A Fun Trip To The Theater...

Hello everyone

Good evening everyone !!!!!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all well. Today was a wet, rainy day in my neck of the woods. Earlier this evening my niece's and I and my sister went to Tinseltown to see movies we wanted to see. I saw the movie "New Moon" which was a great great great movie. I liked Robert Pattinson and the rest of the people in the movie. The part with the werewolves was well worth watching. I think that the movie is definitely worth watching again. I can't wait until it comes on DVD because I want to buy it. I am glad I saw it and I highly recommend the movie as a must see movie.

I do have the read the book "Eclipse" which I haven't read yet. I look forward to reading it. I wonder what the next one will be like.

I do have to go back to work tomorrow. I will be off for Thanksgiving and I will be off of work Friday.

Hello dear world

Good evening !!!!!! How is everyone ?? I hope you are all well. Thanks for your well wishes for my getting better. I am getting better thanks to all of your kind wishes. I have been taking Nyquil, DayQuil, Robitussin cough medicine, some cold medicine, nose spray of course and rubbing my chest with Vicks vaporub which has helped a great deal.

I took Monday off but I have been going to work. I am recovering and getting back to normal day by day. I hate getting sick its never fun. I am still with a stuffy nose but its getting better.

Update...And News About My Trip

Good evening everyone !!! How is everyone today ? I hope you are all doing well. It has been raining these last couple of days in my neck of the woods. It has also been another week at work for me.

Anywho....I wanted to share some information about my trip to Stone Mountain Park with my family. My folks and I and my youngest niece Megan and my puppy Chip stayed at campsite #434 which turned out to be a pull through which my dad liked.

In the afternoon after we got set up and everything we went to eat at a place in Stone Mountain Park called "Ms. Katie's". The place was nice and the food was wonderful and quite delicious. They had good old fashioned Southern cooking. They had these onion petals and they were very very very good. I ordered the grilled Salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni-n-cheese which was quite good.

After eating we went to the theater in the park to see the movie "Journey To The Center of The Earth" which was in 4-D. Its always fun to go to the theater in Stone Mountain Park. They are now showing "The Polar Express" there in 4-D. I wish I could be there to see it since we left the day it began on Sunday.

Later on we got back to the campground. We waited at the campground until it was time for us to go to "Ride The Duck" which is a boat ride and a bus which goes through the park. Our captain was named Roy and he was quite a fun captain. We really enjoyed him being our captain.

After Riding The Duck we then drove to Target and I found some cute Christmas stickers and ornaments. Then we went to eat at a Mexican restaurant which wasn't all that good.

We then got back to camp and I can say that our first day at camp was quite fun. On our first day at camp we also went to an Indian Pow Wow across the street from Stone Mountain Park which was quite interesting.

The next day my folks and I and my niece packed up our camper and our new puppy and we drove home. My oldest niece decided to NOT go with us since she spent the night at a friend's house.

Going to Stone Mountain Park was a nice trip and we had fun. I can't wait to go back to Stone Mountain Park. My folks and I and my youngest niece and my puppy had a great time. My puppy Chip did NOT try to escape or anything he just stayed with us at the campground. We did NOT bring him into the park however.

So how was your day my dear world ? Have you had a great week so far ? Of course the Thanksgiving holiday is almost here. I did purchase our Thanksgiving turkey.

At my work they are already putting up the 16 and a half foot Christmas tree in the front lobby of my work and it is huge let me tell you. Are you getting ready for Christmas ???
