Okay....So....Like........I Have News

Hello dear world !!!!

First things first. You have to know that it was a rather warm day in Atlanta, Georgia today. The minute I stepped out the door the sweat poured off of me and other people at my work like we had just stepped out of a shower except it was from the heat.

Anywho....As you know I have been telling you about how busy me and my coworkers have been well you will be ever so happy to know that today a new lady started at my job with me and my coworkers. She will be helping us with quite a bit of the work. I can tell you that she seems to be a really nice person and it looks like she will be with us for a while which is so huge huge huge. Can you believe it my dear world ??? It will be so very nice getting to know someone new at my work. With her being added to our workplace there are now 4 women working with me at my work and 1 guy. The guy that works with us is going to have his hands full being around so many women. Keep your fingers crossed my dear world for her being with us for a while. Thanks.

In other news my dear world earlier this evening me, my folks and my nieces went to a store called Value City. I have to tell you that I rarely find anything I want in the store but tonight I did. As I was walking around the store I found (2) movies and some hallmark cards that I like. I collect cute hallmark cards by the way.

Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah one of the the movies I bought is called "Happy Accidents" with Vincent D'onofrio and Marisa Tomei. The other movie I got is called "Serendipity" with my favorite actor John Cusack. Of course as you know I love going shopping its becoming a little hobby of mine.

Well enough about me and my day how are things with you my dear world ? Anything new ? By the way how is the weather in your neck of the woods ??? I guess that's about enough of me and my rambling.

I'll talk to you again later and I'm sure I'll have some news for you.

Good-night all. Sweet dreams !!!!!!!!!

My Random Thoughts And What Not....

Hello dear world

How are you today ?? I hope you are all well. Once again here I am. Today my day was a busy one and let me tell you my job kept me working from the moment I started to the very moment I got off. My job has gotten busier and busier and busier. I promised I wouldn't bog you down with my complaining so I shall keep my word. I can tell you that I have been keeping quite busy, busy, busy at work.

Anywho...do you know that I didn't feel hungry today just thirsty have you ever felt like that my dear world ???? I went out with one of my coworkers and bought me some juices and coffee to put in a little refrigerator we have at work. I have to say thank you to Tropicana for keeping me supplied in apple juice and Starbucks for keeping me supplied in iced coffee. Here are their links -----> www.tropicana.com/  -----> www.starbucks.com/  All in all that was my day.

So my dear world how was your day ? Was it as hot and muggy in your neck of the woods as it was in mine ? At the moment the sky looks like it will open up and come pouding every roof and tree with buckets of rain. So I'm going to go now.

Take care my dear world. Ta ta.

My Day At Zoo Atlanta

Hello dear world

How are you ? I want to begin by saying that today was quite a wonderful wonderful day. Since we went to Zoo Atlanta I chose to wear some blue shorts and a yellow t-shirt and tennis shoes.

Anywho...me, my folks and my nieces went to Zoo Atlanta for the first time today. Before we went to the zoo we stopped off at McDonald's for breakfast which was good. I love their hash browns. After breakfast we piled in my mom's Navigator and rode to Zoo Atlanta. I have to tell you that Zoo Atlanta is near a place called Grant Park. Its quite a walk just getting to the entrance of the zoo.

Once we got to the entrance we paid for our tickets and started on our adventure at the zoo. The first thing we saw at the zoo were some Flamingo's. Then we walked over to the petting zoo where we saw some goats and some sheep that my nieces both enjoyed.

After the petting zoo we then saw all sorts of exotic birds which I liked. As we were walking along we got to see some meerkats and a warthog. A few minutes later we stopped off and we saw an elephant. We also saw a lion that was in the middle of taking a nap. We also stopped off to see an alligator laying out on a bank.

As we continued walking through zoo atlanta we got to see some wallaby eating some grass. We also got to see some really cute tamarin walking on a rope in some trees. We then stopped off to see some kangroo's. After that we then took a walk to see the giant panda's. We also got to see the new baby panda that was added to zoo atlanta. There were quite a lot of people looking at the giant panda's just as we were. I can tell you that the baby panda is quite a bit bigger now.

After seeing the panda's we then took a walk where we got to see some of the zebra's and some giraffe's. We also saw some Silverback Gorilla's in the Willie B. Gorilla Conservation Center. For a few minutes after we stopped off and went inside of a living treehouse which was nice. You might want to know that inside of the living treehouse we saw some lemur's.

As we left the living treehouse we went walking through more of zoo atlanta. While we were walking we got a chance to see a muntjack and a komodo dragon. After all of that walking around we had decided to go for lunch.

We decided to go for lunch at a place called "Wild Planet Cafe" which is located inside of zoo atlanta. The food there was pretty good. I had a big slice of pepperoni pizza with a cold bottled water which was good. After we ate our lunch we stayed there for a little while so we could rest.

After taking a rest at Wild Planet Cafe we then went to a show in the zoo known as the Wildlife theater that started at 2:30 in the afternoon. During the show one of the ladies that works in the zoo had some of the exotic birds perform. She also had an Owl come out during the show. While she was holding the owl she was talking about the owl eats. A few minutes later as she was talking right behind her on a rope were some little rats walking along. Some of the kids in the audience told her about the rats but she pretended not to see them.

While we were at the wildlife theater there was a little cart outside of the wildlife theater where a lady was selling Dippin'Dots. I went and ordered some chocolate dippin'dots and my oldest niece had asked me to get her some cookie dough dippin' dots so I did. My nieces shared the cookie dough dippin'dots and I ate the chocoalate dippin'dots I got. You might want to know that the show was pretty great.

We did take some time after the show to go to what was called the "World Of Reptiles". In the World of Reptiles I got a chance to see lots of different snakes. Some of the snakes I saw included a king cobra, a rattlesnake and a python that was quite huge.

As we walked in the World of Reptiles I saw a green tree frog, a poison dart frog, some baby frogs and a frog that actually looked like a leaf. I also got to see a really huge water turtle and some tortoise's.

As my family and I were walking around later on in the zoo I got to stop and see a rhino just like in the movie "Jurassic Park". You might also want toknow that my family and I got to ride the train located inside of Zoo Atlanta. The train was called the "Northfolk Southern Zoo Express Train. It was nice getting to ride on the train in the zoo.

At the end of our trip we stopped off at the souvenir shop where I picked up a keychain, some bookmarks, some stickers and a stuffed toy otter for my youngest niece that she can stick around her wrist. My mom and my oldest niece had walked out of the shop a few minutes later. Later on my oldest niece had come back into the shop quite drenched because it had started raining pretty hard. She had asked me to buy some rain poncho's but before I could get to the register my dad had already bought some for me, my mom and my nieces to wear.

As we left the shop we got pretty soaked because it started raining more and more and more. Let me tell you that it was quite a walk back to the car. All in all it was a pretty amazing really fun day. My nieces really liked the zoo and I enjoyed it too.

So my dear world how was your day today ? Did you get out and enjoy the day as I did ? I hope that you had a really nice Sunday. I guess that about wraps things up for me. If you haven't been to the zoo in Atlanta or in your neck of the woods I highly recomment you go and make a day of it we sure did. I can't wait to go back to the zoo some other time.

A Serious Yucky UGH Moment !!!!!!!!

Hello dear world

I'm having a serious moment....a serious UGH moment. HELP !!!!

I was wondering should I wear shorts or jeans to the zoo tomorrow. I don't know what to wear and its nearly tomorrow. Dear world I'm in need of your help !!!!!!

What should I wear ???

One last final note........I watched a movie called "The Outsider" with Tim Daly. It was a love story of a young widow who lived in the Quaker-like religion and she falls in love with a gunslinger who she takes care of when he is injured. I must tell you the actor Tim played a gunslinger named Johnny Gault and he was quite nice looking in the movie. I just had to tell you that.

Anywho...I do need your help with what to wear. That's all.

Enjoy your day !!!!!!!!!

Just Some Quick Notes

Hello dear world

How are you ? I thought I would pop in for a few minutes for a chat. Yesterday as you might have guessed was another day at work for me. It was also another hot day in my neck of the woods. You will be happy to know that our water problem was taken care of. Apparently the problem was that the water heater was up too hot and so that was what was causing the problem. Of course the price of the person coming to the house to examine the problem was astronomical why is that ???

Anywho....I have to tell you about a movie my mom and I watched last night. The movie was called "Sea People" with the actor Hume Cronyn. I have to tell you that its a great movie for the entire family. You have to see this movie its well worth it. My mom and I loved it and I hope to see it again some time. I highly recommend this movie.

In other news I came upon some journals that I think you will like. One is called "IS THIS MY LIFE ?" here is the link -------> http://journals.aol.com/momiscool2/is-this-my-life/ . The other journal is called "Random Threads" here is the link for this one ----------> http://journals.aol.com/ceilisundancer/RandomThreads/ . Please do go over and say hello. I am sure you will like meeting these people as I did. You might want to add them to your alerts. I just thought I would share these with you.

Of course if you didn't know it..........IT'S SATURDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah. I hope you do get to enjoy your weekend. Well that's about it for me. I'll get back with you later.

Take care everyone !!!!!!!!

Never A Dull Moment

Hello dear world

How are you ? Yes, its me again for the umpteenth time. As you probably already know it was another day at work for me I know I know that's a major news breaking bit of information.

Anywho...earlier this afternoon we did have an emergency at the house that my dad and I had to run home for. The problem was that the hot water in my and my sister and my neice's bathroom wouldn't turn off so the water just kept running and running and running and running and you get the hint. It will have to be fixed so a guy who knows about such things will be coming to the house tomorrow to fix it. We are all having to bathe in one bathroom since the other one is out of order. After we all finish bathing we look like those clowns climbing out of a clown car at the circus. I can tell you that there's NEVER a dull moment in my household.

Since the emergency we had decided to go out for dinner. My dad had decided that we would go to Chili's. When we got there I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat but I ended up having the Texas Cheese Fries with the Jalapeno's and the Applewood smoked bacon on the side with a frozen margarita. I have to tell you my dear world that the cheese fries were good but I didn't finish the margarita. Here is a link for you ------> www.chilis.com/

After dinner we then took a ride down to the mall. We went to JCPenney's and Macy's. I can't say that I bought anything but my dad did buy himself a tropical straw hat and my oldest niece bought some clothes and a really nice dress. I did want to tell you that in JCPenney's there was a guy there shopping and let me tell you the cologne he had on smelled wonderful on him but that's not all. The guy that I looked at in the store had on a very expensive looking watch and it seemed to be encrusted with diamonds and it was bigger than his entire arm. I am surprised even now that he had lifted his arm at all with how big the watch was. Even a person standing 30,000 feet away from him could have seen his watch.

Enough about me and my day how are things with you ? How are things in your part of the world ? Are you ready for the weekend as I am ?? Well that's about it for me. Its getting prettylate here so I will leave you with this little note......

Tomorrow is Friday NOT Saturday so don't forget that soon it will be time to rise and shine so you better get off to bed !!!!!!

Good-night

Some Thoughts.....

Hello dear world

How are you ? I do hope you are all well. Yes its me again. Well you might not know this but today I got a new wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse so after a while I might just be hanging from a flying trapeze and typing this upside down so if my entries start getting weird you will know why.

Anywho...it was another day at work for me and my coworkers. Me and my coworkers have been working and working and working and working and working and working and working and working till we are practically dragging the floor. I worked today till I couldn't walk. Tomorrow is another one of those days. We have been earning our paycheck these last couple of weeks.

In other news has anyone else heard about Michael Vick ?? He has been all over the news in my neck of the woods. I heard that he was suspended for four games. The Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank also advised Michael to stay away from football for a year. I don't know if Michael was involved in dogfighting or not but I am sure that we will all find out soon. He is due in Federal court in Richmond for a bond and arraignment hearing. I also don't know if he will ever play for the Atlanta Falcons ever again. I think its a shame that he put himself in this situation in the first place. What do you think my dear world ? I would like to hear your thoughts.

On a different not I have been reading a book called "I'm In No Mood For Love" by a writer named Rachel Gibson. Here is a link for you -----> www.rachelgibson.com . The book is pretty good. The best time that I like to read is at night in bed. I have a lot more of the book to go but I might just let you know how it ends if you like. If your not busy with Harry Potter would you like to know how this one ends ?? You don't even have to go to any bookstore for my revelation. Anyone interested ???

Anywho........how are things in your neck of the woods ? How are things with you ? Are you ready for Friday as I ??? That's about it for me. I'll talk to you again soon.

Byyyye !!!!!!!!!!!

A Day At Work And A Night Of Bingo

Hello my dear world

How are you ? I have quite a bit to share with you. First things first....the weather was pretty decent in my neck of the woods I am happy to report. It was also the start to another week at work for me. It was a day at my job but I'll tell you about that another day.

Anywho....you might want to know that pretty soon my nieces will be heading back to school. Yes my dear world its that time again for buying wide rule paper, folders, tape, glue, #2 pencils, notebooks, highlighters, dictionaries, markers, erasers etc,etc etc, etc.

In other news earlier this evening my mom and I went to play BINGO which we enjoy doing. As you already know my dad does security at the BINGO hall we play at so we go with him to the BINGO hall. I wanted to report that neither I or my mom won BINGO however playing is still fun. You haven't seen BINGO playing until you see women with layer upon layer of BINGO cards and let me tell you there are some women there that do it quite a bit but I don't have the courage to spend that kind of money. Me I buy 1 pack of cards and I'm off and running. As we got to the end game of the last card in the pack which was a cover all I had gotten down to 3 numbers ain't that something my dear world ???

At the end of the night my mom, dad and I were getting ready to leave the lot when my dad spotted 2 young teenage boys walking through the lot in the pitch dark. For security purposes my dad turned the car around and asked the 2 teenagers where they were heading. The oldest one then responded by saying "We ain't doing nothing Officer" and my father then replied by saying "Did I say you were ?" and the boys quicky said "We are taking a shortcut" and my father told them "Okay" and we then left the parking lot where the boys were and headed home. My dad did watch them for a few minutes as we were driving off but the boys just continued on their way without further incident. All in all it was a pretty nice day despite not winning BINGO.

So how was your day dear world ? How are things in your part of the world ? Still chugging along ?? I do hope you are all well. I guess that's about it for me my dear world. I kept you long enough.

I'll talk to you again later !!!!!!!!!

Update....

Hello dear world

How are you ? I wanted to say I'm sorry for my recent entry. I didn't mean to come to you with more of my complaining. I will try harder not to complain about things.

Anywho.....last night I watched the movie "Pump Up The Volume" being that I was in a kind of funk last night. Here is a view of the movie ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaqmdu9p97k .

I also came upon a video of a man walking around with a "Free Hugs" sign which I wanted to show you. Would you walk up to a stranger and hug them ? Take a look at this and let me know what you think -----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4 .

Update: I had a wonderful day with my folks a really wonderful wonderful wonderful day. Earlier today my folks and I went to Longhorn's Steakhouse for lunch which was quite good. I had a Caesar salad to start off with. Then our server brought our lunch. I had a ribeye which was cooked just to medium which was quite tender and juicy. With my ribeye I had some really good mashed potatoes with some of the juice from the ribeye. After lunch I then ordered the Chocolate Stampede which was quite rich. It was chocolatey with a side of vanilla ice cream. By the time my lunch and dessert were finished I was quite full. My mom also had the ribeye and my dad had the ribs which also looked good. I have to say our lunch was amazing.

After lunch we then went to Kroger to pick up a couple of items. I have to say that since I wasn't hungry I can tell you that I didn't go crazy this time around at the grocery store. I did find some new soap that I wanted to try and some wild honey shower gel that I also wanted to try.

My dear world I found a song a few minutes ago that I really liked. I would like to share it with you. The song is by Simply Red and the song is titled "So Not Over You". I hope you like it too. Here it is ------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feBRZCgH9SU . Tell me what you think of it.

So what did you do today dear world ?? I hope you had as fun a day as I did.

I'll talk to you again later. Byyyyyyye !!!!!!!!!!

You Have To Have A Voice....

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? The weather wasn't too bad today in my neck of the woods I am happy to report. I do have some news for you.

I would like to share some information with you if you don't mind about what's going on in my neighborhood. Recently we found out that a cellular tower is going to be put up directly in my neighborhood and it will be 100 feet tall. Some of my neighbors and my mom had got it stopped once before but we found out that there's a guy that will be building it right where it can be seen right in our backyard. Anywho....my mom and I and one of my neighbors drove around with fliers and a petition for our neighbors to sign so we could take it to a meeting that will be held on Tuesday night. We are trying to petition to have it stopped from being built in our neighborhood. Some people opened their doors to talk with me and my neighbor that I was with but others did not. My dear world my mom has taught me that you have to have a voice and speak up for things you don't like or believe in so I began with handing out the fliers and having our neighbors sign the petition. What do you think my dear world ?? We heard that the federal government is already involved in helping to have the cell tower built. Even though our voices might not stop it from being built I have learned that you have to speak up for those things you don't believe in or stand for. I have to say that I don't think we need a cell tower built in our neighborhood. Why can't it be built in a area near restaurants and businesses ? Why would anyone want to build a cellular tower in the backyards of a neighborhood ?? I just thought I would share that with you.

I wanted to share a song with you by John Mayer called "Waiting On The World To Change". Here is the link -------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXWXQeHCWpo .

So how are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope all is well with you. I just thought I would come by and chat with you for a few minutes.

Take care my dear world !!!!!!!!!

I LOVE SHOPPING !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ??? I am extremely well. Today was another day for me at work which wasn't too bad. You might want to know that a little after 2:00 in the afternoon we did get some rain but we needed it.

I do have quite a bit of news to share with you. Earlier this evening I went shopping with my mom and my nieces.

- First we went to Kohl's which was fun fun fun. While I was there I bought some cards, some bowls that my mom liked, a really nice bracelet, a CD by the singer Fergie and some really cute tennis shoes my mom saw. My tennis shoes I bought are grey with a skull on the very top with a red dragon twisted behind the skull. I must tell you that the minute I saw the tennis shoes I fell in love with them.

- After Kohl's we then went to my other favorite store JoAnn's. While I was at JoAnn's I did some more shopping. First I looked around in the store at all the things in the store. By the time we were finished shopping they were announcing that they were getting ready to close. I hurried and took my items to the cashier. Here's what I bought : some really fun glittery stickers and some NECCO wafers which are candy and my nieces who also wanted some candy. I wanted to share the link for those of you who might be interested -----> www.necco.com/ .

- Then after shopping we then went to Sonic's which is always always fun. While at Sonic's I ordered me some chili cheese fries and a root beer float. I can tell you the chili cheese fries were quite good. The root beer float was also quite good.

My dear world I have to tell you I LOVED going shopping tonight. Yes my dear world I had one amazing fun time. So how was your day ?? I hope your day was as fun as mine was.

The word for today is : ENJOY

Take care everyone. Have a nice weekend !!!!! Good-night.

Just Some Thoughts

Hello dear world

How are you ?? Did you miss me ? Well here I am. First I have to tell you that it was a really hot day in Atlanta, Georgia and we did get some rain but it didn't last long. After it rains it seems to get hotter why is that ????

Anywho....today it was a busy busy busy busy day for me and my coworkers. It seems like my job is getting busier these days. My coworkers and I worked until it was time for us to get off and let me tell you we were all tired out.

In other news a friend pointed out a place called "Udder Delight Ice Cream House" here is the link -----> www.udderdelighticecreamhouse.com/ . I have never been there myself but I sure would like too. I read about the place and do you know that they serve flavors of ice cream such as Chunky Bacon, Memphis Barbecue and one that is a pale red Cackalacky Spice Sauce ice cream ??? They even have a flavor called "Viagra" apparently its made from orange and pineapple in a blue ice cream, with Pop Rocks added at the end. Can you imagine ??? They have also done a Mushroom Ice Cream now that is a bit much don't you think ???  Would you want to try these flavors ??? Just wondering my dear world.

So how are things in your neck of the woods ??? How is the weather in your neighborhood ? I am like that of a bar of chocolate left out in the heat after a day of work. I do hope you are well my dear world. I just thought I would pop in and say hello.

So hi !!!!!!! and byyyye !!!!!!!

I Was An Early Riser Today

Cock-a-doodle-do !!!!!!!

Hello dear world....how are you this evening ?? First things first it was a blazing hot day today with a quick shot of rain and then back to a blazing hot 5 alarm fire day.

Obviously you don't know this but I was up at the crack of dawn this morning. I got to work at approximately 4:30 am and not even the sun was up. I don't actually start work until 7:00 am but I got there early. I was able to get into our new office which as you know comes equipped with a steel cage and building materials which we don't use. We could start our own Home Depot in our new office. Anywho....I got to work had me some coffee located in my dad's office and then I got myself upstairs.

Once I got upstairs to the office I sat down and began reading a little of the morning paper. The name of the paper in my neck of the woods by the way is "The Atlanta Journal Constitution". Do you want to know what my favorite part of the newspaper is ? The Living Section and the comics.

After reading the newspaper I then started reading a little bit more of a book I've been reading called "Amber Beach" by a writer named Elizabeth Lowell. For those of you who enjoy romance novels like I do.......you just might want to go and get this book. It is a really good book and I am loving the story.

Here's something you definitely don't know....things at my work don't kick up until 7:00 am and then its like a SWAT team of mad hornets swarming to a pot of honey at once.

In other news you might want to know that once I got home from work my folks made the decision that we would go out and eat for dinner so we did. It was me, my folks and my two nieces eating out at a restaurant called "Monterrey Restaurante Mexicano". Let me tell you the food is wonderful. For dinner tonight I had a Shrimp Quesadilla and 2 soft tacos with chicken which was quite good. My oldest niece also had a quesadilla but she had a cheese quesadilla and my youngest niece had a bowl of cheese dip. My folks had different dinner plates. We go to the restaurant once in a while and we enjoy eating there. Of course I was happy to treat everyone to dinner and it was wonderful.

All in all despite the heat it was a nice day. So how was your day ? Did you get to enjoy your day ???? I hope you did. I hope that you are able to enjoy the rest of your week as well. So how are things in your neck of the woods ????

I guess I've gone on long enough. At the moment its pretty late in my neighborhood so I will say good-night.

Sweet dreams !!!!!!!!

A totally UGH !!!! kind of day

Hello dear world

How are you ? For me today started another week at work for me and it was one of those Monday's. I have to share my morning with you first. It all began with a police officer who came and opened the door for me this morning. After opening the door he then asked to see my ID badge which was in my purse at the time. After I took it out of my purse to show him. The police officer decided to walk away without even looking at my ID badge. Had I done something wrong my dear world ?? I don't get it.

In other news I can tell you my dear world that my coworkers and I worked and worked and worked and worked and worked from the moment we got started up until the very moment we got off. At the end of the day we are all pretty much dragging. I don't mean to complain my dear world but by the end of the day we are all pretty much dragging the floor from exhaustion. We stayed busy all through the day. The hardest part of the day was the fact that the air conditioning in the building wasn't working and it was quite hot in the building. It wasn't until we were getting ready to leave the building that the air conditioning finally decided to rise and shine from its long Sleeping Beauty nap.

After I got off work I went home and got changed to go to a Neighborhood watch meeting with my mom. At the meeting was the Captain of the Clayton County Police Department, then there was a police officer there named Tim Owens. The meeting covered Code Enforcement and the rest of it covered Crime Prevention which was presented quite wonderfully by Tim Owens.

And that was my day....how was yours ???? I hope you got to enjoy your day  at least. Friday will be here before we know it. I do also hope that you get to enjoy the rest of your week. Don't forget that before you go to bed remember to check and lock your doors.

Good-night !!!!!!!

More News

Hello dear world

Good evening. I am happy to report that things are back to normal here at the Doyle household. My family and I had dinner which consisted of me eating mashed potatoes from Church's Chicken and macaroni-n-cheese my mom made with a soda they brought back from camping. Yes my dear world things are back to normal. There is noise in the house and I love love love love it !!!!

You might want to know that I have been watching tons of Colin Firth today in one of my favorite movies "Bridget Jones's Diary" and more of "Bridget Jones's Diary". I have also watched Richard Gere in "Pretty Woman" and then I watched half of my other favorite movie "The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler. I didn't watch the beginning of it because at the time I didn't know it was going to be on television so I only got to see the middle of it and then the end of it. Take care my dear world !!!!!!

News

Hello dear world

How are you ? Obviously I have some news for you. A little while ago my mom, dad and my nieces arrived home from camping. They are a little wore out from the trip but they did arrive safely. I survived my time home alone thanks to all of you.

In other news...I got a summons in the mail for Jury duty August 20th 2007. I was a little upset at first for being called for jury duty but then I gave it some thought. If I do get picked the trial I will be on might be something exciting. I might get picked and have to be sequesterd. As you know I do work at the courthouse that I have to go and serve my jury duty time. I don't know if I told you this but my dad is a Deputy Sheriff at the very same courthouse and we work in the same building together. I don't know if I will get picked or if I will be on the jury for long. I will have to wait and see and tell you later. I will keep you in suspense.....and now at this moment the plot thickens.

Moving right along....how are you doing ? Have you been enjoying your Sunday ?? I hope that you have had an enjoyable and relaxing day. Of course tomorrow starts another week at work for me so I will talk to you again later. I hope you enjoy your week. Take care.

By the way please go over to Morgan's place "Random Thoughts". She has some very good news to share. I will let you go and find out about her news. I know you will be proud of her. Way to go Morgan !!!!!!!!!!! Here is her link ------> http://journals.aol.com/Sneezy7125/RandomThoughts

Byyye for now !!!!!!!!

Final Thoughts of the Day

Hello dear world

Its much later in the evening much much later. I won't keep you long but I just wanted to come and share some things with you. You might not know this but I hadn't eaten anything since Thursday and so I was hungry. A little while ago I fixed some egg salad and made myself a sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good. I was thinking about ordering pizza but I didn't have a chance to the atm machine to get some cash so I just fixed myself an egg salad sandwich.

I have to tell you that I watched the movie "The Goodbye Girl" with Richard Dreyfuss which I have to say isn't half bad.In my opinion I would also like to say that Richard is a very talented actor and I liked him in the movie. I also have to say that he is also quite funny. I might have to rent it and watch it again sometime. Have you ever seen it my dear world ? If not you have to see it and tell me what you think of it.

Well my dear world I hope that you enjoyed your day. I hope that you have a really nice Sunday as well. It was nice coming and talking with you my dear world. I do want to wish you a very wonderful and enjoyable evening. Do take care and I will talk to you again soon.

Goodnight everyone. Sweet dreams !!

Hello dear world

I just woke up and you might want to know that not a creature has stirred. Everyone seems to still be asleep in my neighborhood all except for me. As for me I just finished visiting Ray over at his "Tomato Garden Journal". What are you up to ???

A little while ago it had rained but it didn't last very long. The rain never stays around much anymore. I hope that it didn't rain at the campground for my nieces and my folks. Its hard to go camping in the rain. Anywho...I'm just catching up on my journal reading.

I would like to invite you to drop by and leave me your thoughts, or anything else you would like to share. I'll be waiting !!!!!!

Well...

Hello dear world !!!!!

How are you ? Thanks for all of your kind words and thoughts. You might not know this but I had to work today and I didn't go camping with my family. I am having an "all by myself" kind of weekend.

I am sorry that I haven't come and talked to you in a few days. I was kind of upset about work and so I didn't want to come and bog you down with all of my feelings so I wrote them down instead. I have to say that I am feeling much better about the situation. I do have to tell you that the guy that I have a crush on actually took the time to talk to me. He stopped what he was doing and talked to me about how I was doing. He didn't seem to think I was being silly at all which I thought he might have said. He is a really great guy and its nice to have him at my work. By the way all of your thoughts and words also helped to get me through this rocky time.

Anywho......I am feeling better and happier. At this time I am home and I took me a nice hot shower and rested. Then I decided I would come and talk to you my dear world. Its totally quiet here in my neck of the woods and I am enjoying this time. I am pretty sure that tonight I will sleep in late and get a little more rest. I do hope that my folks and my nieces are having a good time at the campground.

So how are you my dear world ?? I hope all is well with you. I have missed chatting with you my dear friends. I hope that your week was a little bit better than mine. I also hope that you will have a nice weekend. I am more than likely going to watch lots of television and eat some ice cream and just relax.

Do take care my dear world. Good-night !!!!!

Enter At Your Own Risk

Arrrrr me matey's !!!!

This be Captain Barbossa of the Cursed Black Pearl also known as the scourge of the seven seas. Step aboard but be fore warned for you may have to walk the gangplank and fall forever to Davey Jones' Locker. Actually its me dear matey's.

I wanted to come by and tell you that today wasn't such a good day for me or my coworkers. You may want to know that the people me and my coworkers work for are forcing us out of our office where we clock in and clock out at the end of the day. They are having us moved to the supply room in our building. My coworkers and I will have to sit in a room full of old maintenance equipment and broken discarded chairs and junk. The worse part is...we will have to sit inside of a old rusted metal cage like inmates in a jail cell. My coworkers and I feel that we don't want to sit in the area in which they are putting us. Me matey's I'm wondering if things at my work are going to change. At the moment things couldn't get any worse but hey you never know. I myself think that the inmates in a jail get treated better. I just don't know. Am I wrong me matey's ???

I do hope you are faring better than I. Are you at least doing alright. Perhaps you would like to walk this here plank and fall forever to Davey Jones' Locker. Darn ! me thinks I hear Captain Jack Sparrow arr! perhaps you are saved me matey's to not have a meeting with Captain Barbossa scourge of the seven seas.

Before I go please do say hello me matey's to someone I just met over at a journal called "Seduction of Life". This journaller was considering leaving. Do go over and say hi !!!! me matey's or I shall have you enter into Davey Jones' Locker. Here is the link ----> http://journals.aol.com/wumzels2/SEDUCTIONOFLIFE/ .

Until then we shall meet again.

I Love Weekends And Jeff Gordon #24 !!!!!

Hello dear world

How are you ?? I thought I would come by and share with you what I did today with my family. Earlier today my family and I decided we would go out and celebrate the fact that my oldest niece turned "16" so we went to Red Lobster. We all had the Ultimate Feast which comes with a Lobster tail, some shrimp, some crab legs and your pick of a baked potato, mashed potatoes or french fries. With my dinner I had mashed potatoes. The ultimate feast also comes with a salad before they bring your meal. I have to tell you that if you ever get a chance you have to go there and order the Ceasar Salad which is quite good.

Let me tell you my dear world our meal was delicious. I NEVER had the Caesar salad before so that was a first for me. The Ultimate Feast is always good we enjoy it every time we go there. After we ate the waiters and waitresses came over and sang "Happy Birthday" to my niece which she liked. We go there some many times that many of the wait staff know us and come over and talk to us.

Anywho......after we left Red Lobster we all took a ride over to Dairy Queen so we could get some ice cream. I got a dessert called an Oreo Brownie Earthquake which is two brownies covered in hot fudge sauce and then topped with vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on the side. My dad had the same thing. My youngest niece had an ice cream cone with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles on top.

All in all my dear world our day was pretty nice. By the way I wanted to let you know ahead of time that my family and I will be heading on a camping trip this coming weekend so if you don't hear from me this weekend you will know why. As you know I love going camping its one of our favorite things to do.

You might also want to know that before we went for dinner my family and I stopped off at "The Sports Authority" which has practically everything. We went there because my dad wanted to get some camp chairs to take on our camping trip with us which he wants to put in our pop-up camper we use to take camping with us. While we were there I got a poster they had with Jeff Gordon #24 who happens to be one of my favorite race car drivers. The poster has his picture on it as well as his car on it.

After we got home I immediately went and put his picture on the wall in my room. I have to say that Jeff is the most gorgeous race car driver in my opinion. I have always been a fan of his.

So how was your day dear world ??? I hope you had as nice a day as I did. I must say that I truly love weekends they are the best part of the week in my opinion. Do you have any plans for the weekend yet ???

I guess that about wraps it up for me. I will talk to you again soon. I just thought that you might want to know how my day went. Of course tomorrow starts another week for me at work but I have something to look forward to at the end of it which is always wonderful. I hope you will have a nice week. Do take care my dear world. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Before I go I have to tell you that the movie I rented "Blood And Chocolate" with Olivier Martinez was quite good. You have to rent it. The other movie I rented wasn't good but this one was wonderful. I highly recommend it. Here is a link for you ----> www.apple.com/trailers/mgm/bloodandchocolate/ .

Ta ta for now !!!!!!!!

A Day At The Grocery Store

Hello dear world

How are you ?? You will be happy to know I'm back. My dear friend Phil said that it seems the 4th of July swallowed her and she can't write anymore. I didn't mean to neglect you my dear world but I'm back.

Where was I your wondering ???? Well today my mom and I made a day of it. My nieces were out with their mother and my dad was passed out in bed sleeping. We got out early this morning to the video store where we rented 2 movies : "In A Dark Place" with Leelee Sobieski and the other "Blood And Chocolate".

After the video store we stopped off at our grocery store Kroger. Here is a link if you want to check it out ---------> www.kroger.com/ . My mom and I always love going together to the grocery store. We rarely go with my dad because he's always wanting to race back to the house to see NASCAR or sports or something else he likes on television. Anywho..we had a ball at the grocery store let me tell you. We bought some Polska Kielbasa, some shrimp from the seafood department, some soda's and we even picked up some wine coolers that we like to drink. I picked up 2 different flavors of ice cream. One of the flavors was called "Fried Ice Cream" from Breyer's and the other was called "Olde Savannah Caramel". Let me tell you I only ate some of the Fried Ice Cream and it was good very good. I will let you know how the other one later. For a snack we had some small tostitos's and some Asian style Spring Rolls which were quite good. We also picked up some Salmon and some noodles that we had for dinner. Do you know I spent over $120.00 in groceries all in one day ???

I can report that its been pretty steamy in my neck of the woods. It seems like the weather is getting hotter by the day. Does anyone have any rain that could send us ??? We could use a couple of waterfalls, some rivers and a few dozen or so streams. I don't mind if you send them by Federal Express or through the mail. I would love all the rain you could send me. My neck of the woods would thank you.

After we got home we had some of the Spring rolls with my dad who had gotten up from hibernation and then we fixed the salmon with the noodles we bought which was very good. We then watched the movie "In A Dark Place" which I hate to say wasn't very good. I haven't yet seen "Blood And Chocolate" but I'll let you know how it is when I do. We did watch our favorite classic "Pride And Prejudice" with Colin Firth which we LOVVVVVVVE !!!!!!!! for like the gazillionth time. We have been up all night together and having a blast. We have been staying up pretty late these days.

So my dear world how are things with you ?? How are you coming along these days ??? Did anyone else miss me besides my dear Phil ???? I hope that you are enjoying your weekend as I did. That's about it for me. I just wanted to come by and say hello and let you know that I'm still around.

Good-night everyone. Sweet dreams !!!!!!!!!

HAPPY 4th Of July

Hello dear world

How are you ? First of all I hope all of you my dear friends are having a wonderful time during this 4th of July.

I would like to say hello and thank you to all of our troops in Iraq who are helping to keep our nation free from harm. I would also like to acknowledge the families of those who have loved ones over in Iraq. May you all know that we are keeping you all in our hearts and prayers.

I would like to share a poem with you my dear world.

AMERICA'S SYMBOL

When you look up at me

with my red, white and blue

waving proudly in the sky,

I hope you think about what I stand for

beyond placing your hand over heart

or standing at attention in salute.

I am so much more than

a woven cloth of stars and stripes...

I am your pride of the USA

that is worn, adorn

and individually flown

for all others to see.

I am the courage shown

by the valiant troops

who raise me up

after a victory won.

I am the solemn remembrance

of the duty served to America

that is draped over a coffin

and given folded to a loved one.

I am each state

united as one nation

under God

with liberty and justice for all.

I am Old Glory,

America's symbol to the world

that will always fly high

in the land of the free

and the home of the Brave !

---David G. Bancroft

Do enjoy your 4th of July and at the end of it take a moment and remember our troops and their families and I will do the same. Do have a safe and happy holiday.

Take care everyone !!!!

Lost In Thought

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ?? I wanted to come by and tell you about my day. How was my day your wondering....where to begin, where to begin. Ahhh yes yes yes now I know.

It all began after 6a.m. this morning when I was making my way to work. Then I got to work and waited to clock in at 7a.m. which is the official start to my day.

I worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked with my coworkers from 7a.m. to 4:00p.m. which is when I clock out at the end of my day.

After work I got home and got ready to go out with my folks to dinner. My nieces both went out with their mother for the evening.

Anywho.....my folks and I went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant "Longhorn Steakhouse" which has the world's best food in the world. For dinner we all had the 12oz. Ribeye which is better when its cooked medium well. Let me tell you the Ribeye's are quite tender and juicy. I had mine with french fries. Some of my french fries sat in some of the juice from the ribeye's which made them that more delicious to bite into. My mom had a Margerita with her dinner and my dad had some wine. I had a drink called a Mudslide which let me tell you was rich and creamy. We all loved our dinner let me tell you. The waitress had came by and asked us if we had wanted dessert which we had to say no because we were quite full from dinner.

After dinner we then went to PetCo which was fun. While I was there one of the guys let me take some time with a young ferret and let me tell you they are cute. Unfortunately I couldn't take him home with me I'm sad to say. I did get (2) really cute goldfish which I liked. I got a small one and a medium sized one. I named the small one Jack after Kiefer Sutherland's character Jack Bauer on "24" since its one of my favorite shows. I named my other goldfish Keith after a guy that I have a crush on. We also have a white catfish in our tank we call "the albino" because its white. I just thought I would share that with you.

Moving on... to some of my other news after PetCo we stopped off at Dunkin Doughnuts which I have to ask you - did you know that Dunkin Doughnuts doesn't carry regular chocolate doughnuts ???? I thought all doughnut places carried regular chocolate doughnuts I know Krispy Kreme does but not Dunkin Doughnuts why is that ?????

On a different note I was reading in a friend of mine's journal that when you fly across the globe, all you need is one ticket for your entire journey. When you want to travel by rail across Europe, you need a wad of tickets for the various countries and rail companies.

But that is set to come to an end as of 2009. I read in my friend's journal that several major rail operators on continent, including the French, German, Swiss and Dutch companies, are set to join forces to offer travellers one ticket across the continent. Part of their objective is to lure passengers out of planes into trains. I myself have NEVER been to Europe but I have always wanted to go there. I would love to get a rail ticket and travel across Europe that sounds amazing to me. I wonder how much one of those rail tickets is going to cost probably a lot I'm guessing.

All in all I had a really nice day.

So how are you my dear world. How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope your day was as nice as mine. That's about it for now. Good-night !!!!!!

News

Hello dear world

How are you ????? I am doing well. First things first. Today is the anniversary of my journal/blog at J-Land. I started at J-Land on Thursday July 1,2004 so YEAH !!!!!!! I would like to wish all of you who are celebrating their anniversary at J-Land a huge "CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

I would also like to thank all of you for visiting and offering me your friendship and your thoughts and giving me advice when I have needed it. Right now I would like to start a list of people that I would like to thank. If I didn't mention you I will be getting around to in my next entry so don't think I forgot you. Here is my list and my list will continue so don't worry you won't be left out.

So I would like to begin by thanking :

David, Helen, Carly, Hadon, Morgan, Jeannette, Eva and John, Mary, Mark, R. Brimm, D Poem, Katie, Sonya, Sybil, Penny, Sandra, Spencer, Iris, Barry, My Midnight Cowboy you know who you are and many many many many many many more.

In other news I have to report that my niece's "Sweet 16" was quite wonderful. She had a good time with her friends and us at the party. She got quite a bit of gifts and money. She did tell us that she had a good time at the party. She enjoyed having it in one of the meeting rooms at the Ramada Inn. I went around making sure that everyone had gotten some food, drinks and juice so that my mom and the rest of the family could sit back and have fun. My youngest niece was up with my niece's friends dancing and having a good time. Everyone had a great time and there wasn't any trouble at all. The night ended wonderfully and my niece left the Ramada with us smiling which I am happy about. I can't believe she's 16 already. My nieces are growing up fast. I am enjoying being an aunt and watching them grow. Pretty soon my other niece will be 16 but right now she's just 7 years old. She's on her way to being 8 years old which will be here before I know it. They are out of school at the moment and enjoying it.

Anywho....I was over at Ro's place and I was looking at her blog which is one of my favorites. You may go ahead and ask a question to me about anything you like. You can ask me about my favorite shows I'm watching etc, etc, etc,. I will answer them as I get your questions. I will try to get around to answering them all. If you would like to know something about me feel free to ask. The time to ask questions begins now !!!!!!!

My question to you is : How are you doing ???

What's your ?
