Some News And Lots About Jeff Gordon

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? First let me say that I am happy to report that the pollen is nearly gone in my neck of the woods. I am also happy to report that it was a very lusciously warm 84 degree day in Georgia which I loved. Of course today started another week at work for me all 8-hour shifts.

On a different note my friend Penny pointed me to a web site that you might want to check out called ------> www.art.com/ . I went to the website and I saw some artwork by an artist that she so kindly pointed out to me named Pol Ledent. I have to say that I like Pol's "Blue Cornflowers" you should go and check out his art work. When you get to the website my dear world type in his name and it will take you to his art work. I am also a fan of Shirley Novak, Bruno Baumann and of course Claude Monet.

In other news I am quite excited to report that my favorite race car driver Jeff Gordon (#24) won the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway. Jeff's victory at Talladega was his second of the season and moved him to sixth place on the all-time victory list passing Dale Earnhardt. The pole he won Saturday was the 60th of his career, putting him fourth on the all-time list. The win moved him to sixth on the all-time winners list. He now only trails Richard Petty, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Darrell Waltrip and Cale Yarborough on the all-time list. It was reported that Jeff is well on his way to a fifth title, a mark only Petty and Earnhardt have reached. He now has a 203-point lead over second place Jeff Burton in the points standing and has led the standings for the past five races. Gordon's #24 Chevrolet was as dominant in the Aaron's 499 as it has been in the first eight races of the season.

CONGRATULATIONS TO #24 JEFF GORDON

So my dear world how was your day ? I hope the weather in your neck of the woods was as nice as it was in mine. I also hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

Good-night everyone !!!!!!!

A Wonderful Day And A Movie With Denzel Washington

Hello dear world

How are you this evening ? I am doing rather well. I am happy to report that the weather in my neck of the woods was full of warm sunshine. Today I was out and about with my family at Home Depot ---- http://www.homedepot.com/ . I spent quite a bit of time walking around the garden center looking at all of the flowers as the sun softly melted on my skin which felt wonderful. I enjoy looking around at all of the flowers. They also had these water fountains which were full of water which is wonderful to listen to. The water was dropping down into the fountain and I felt the cool fingers of the water which was nice. Then I went to sit in one of the cozy swings they sell which had a little covering over it that someone would enjoy on a hot summer day. My nieces sat in another one of the swings. I enjoyed Home Depot today.

Anywho...earlier today I watched a really great movie called "DeJa Vu" with the very talented Denzel Washington. I must tell you my dear world the movie was wonderful and it kept me guessing about what was going to happen next. Denzel showed more of his talented acting ability as he has in many of his other movies. Here is a link to the movie ----- http://video.movies.go.com/dejavu/ . I do recommend this movie very highly to anyone who is into a very great suspenceful thrilling movie. This movie is one you won't want to miss my dear world I certainly enjoyed it.

All in all I had a wonderful day. How was your day dear world ? I hope that you were able to enjoy your Sunday as I did. By the way please go over to Jeannette's Jottings and offer our dear dear friend Jeannette a few kind words to let her know how fond we are of her. I think you will want to offer her a few words of how much she means to you as well. To you dear Jeannette I have to say thank you and to all of you my dear world thank you for visiting and for listening to me even when I am at my silliest.

By the way I have a singer that you will like his name is Paolo Nutini. Here is a link to his site ----> http://www.paolonutini.com/ . When you go to his site....click on the word "media" and you will want to check out his UK version to his video "New Shoes". You will enjoy listening to his song. Do go over and check him out.

I'll talk to you again later. Until then good-night !!!!!!!!

Some News

Hello my dear world

How are you ? I am quite well. I have so much to tell you that I don't know where to begin. How about I start with what I did yesterday. The weather yesterday was a big soggy because it rained for a while but it didn't last long.

Anywho....on the 4th floor at my job there were two guys who were delivering huge jugs of bottled water. One of the guys was named Chad. Chad was a really nice looking guy. He had long sandy brown/blonde hair and an amazing smile to boot. He looked like he was in his late 20's to early 30's. Chad and I talked for a few minutes and we joked around a bit. He looked like the kind of guy who spends quite a bit on a surfboard he just had that look about him. His hair was the color of summer sand just washed by the tide. I instantly liked him after talking to him for just a few minutes. The other guy working with him didn't talk much. Since there was another guy working with him I didn't tell him what a nice looking guy he was or that I liked talking to him. Forgive my silliness my dear world I just had to share that with you.

Later on after work I went to one of my favorite stores which is a store called "Tuesday Morning". I love going to Tuesday Morning its such a joy shopping there. In the store I always find something I like. At the store I purchased some hand-written journals, one pack of notecards which were covered with pictures of Writers of the Hudson Valley, I also purchased some chocolates that are from Belgium, I also got some notecards which have some artwork on them by the artist Seurat. I also purchased an audio cassette called "War Letters" which is correspondence from some of the American Wars. Here's some information on the audio cassette: In 1998, Andrew Carroll founded the Legacy Project with the goal of remembering soldiers and preserving their letters for posterity. The cassette holds a collection of insight into the Civil War, World War I and World War II, Vietnam, Korea, the Cold War, the Persian Gulf and even the fighting in Somalia and the Balkans. Some of the letters read on the audio cassette who fought in battle were a bit hard to listen to because they were so very sad.

After shopping at the store my family and I went to La Parrilla Mexican restaurant. They have some pretty good food. Our dinner was nice and I enjoyed my meal.

Now I will tell you what I did today......

Today was another day at work for me and my coworkers. Today wasn't so busy for us. Later on for lunch me and three of my female coworkers went to Longhorn Steakhouse. One of my coworkers treated us since we were celebrating my birthday a little late. Two of my coworkers and I had ribeye's and my other coworker had a N.Y. strip steak. The ribeye's were good although two of my coworkers had to send back their ribeye's because they were cooked medium well instead of cooked well done like they had asked. They sent their ribeye's back and got different ones which were cooked completely done. Their ribeye's were cooked to their liking. While we were eating the restaurant started filling up pretty fast. My coworkers and I noticed that some other people that work in our building were also there having lunch. I guess they had the same idea as we did. Later on after our meal I ordered a brownie dessert to go. Let me tell you the brownie from Longhorn Steakhouse was quite rich in chocolate as I like it. The dessert was pretty good. After my coworkers and I finished working we went downstairs where I shared my dessert with them.

On a completely different note I am happy to report that my uncle Tony is out of the hospital. He stopped by the house a few minutes ago and let me tell you that he looks really good. He is back to his old usual joking self and he seems to be doing really good. I am so happy that he is feeling better and out of the hospital.

So my dear world how was your day ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope that you are doing well and that you are enjoying your Friday. I am looking forward to the weekend. I am happy that my favorite movie "Under The Tuscan Sun" with Diane Lane is coming on t.v. tonight I haven't seen it in a long time. I just had to pop in and say hello and see how you are doing.

I'll talk to you again later. Until then take care everyone. Byyyye !!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to report that the weather in my neck of the woods was wonderful it is sure feeling like Summertime.

Yesterday to lift my spirits I got a movie called "Practical Magic" with Nicole Kidman and I liked it. I love the songs on the movie and I loved the movie itself. I loved Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in the movie they were spectacular. I have to say that you should get this movie you'll love it.

A VERY MEMORABLE 31st BIRTHDAY

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? Let me start by saying that not only was the weather in my neck of the woods wonderful but so was my birthday with my family. Today was officially my 31st birthday and I had a blast let me tell you.

Let me say a HUGE "THANKS" to all of you my dear friends who wished me a Happy Birthday. Your kindness was most appreciated.

You might be surprised to know that I didn't have a chocolate birthday cake I actually had a Hawaiian Island tropical birthday cake from Kroger and it was delicious. My cake was covered with all kinds of ( 3 ) tropical colors : lime green, pink and yellow. There was also a huge Hawaiian island flower that you would find on a Hawaiian Lei made from creamy frosting. On the inside was a Hawaiian yellow colored cake. Let me tell you the Hawaiian cake was wonderful.

My gifts were also pretty great. I received from my family a trunk from my favorite store Hobby Lobby , 2 bags of Guylian Twists chocolates, a page of decorative stickers, some very sweet smelling bath products from Avon and a very cute pair of diamond studded clogs from Avon as well because diamonds are my birthstone. It was a very wonderful birthday indeed. My card also had a tiny handbag attached on the front with a jeweled strap attached on the front of the card as a cute decoration because my family knows I love to shop. I loved everything about my birthday from start to finish. During the day many of my relatives and cousins called to with me a very Happy Birthday which was quite wonderful of them. My family also sang Happy Birthday to me as well.

All in all I had one memorable day. How was your day dear world ? I hope your day was as nice as mine. I do hope that you will also enjoy your upcoming week. I will most definitely talk to you again soon. Take care my dear friends. Until then.....

Sweet Dreams !!!!!!!!!!!

A Really Great Birthday

Hello ( Ni Hao ! ) dear world

Good evening ( Wan Shang Hao ! ) how are you ? I am quite wonderful I must say. I have so much to tell you. Earlier this evening my family and I went to a great restaurant called "Lee's Golden Buddha" to celebrate my 31st birthday. Let me describe what we saw when we walked in: First there is a water fountain pond in which to make a wish by throwing in pennies. There are frog and fish statues on the fountain. Behind the fountain there are little buddha statues in which is inspired from the restaurant itself. There is also a bar in the front of the restaurant and then there are different Chinese objects that you can look at and purchase if you like.

After a few minutes we were taken to our table which is where the chefs come and cook the food at your table. Let me tell you that its quite a sight to behold. First the chef make a fire that was quite hot but it was beautiful. Then he prepared the fried rice with doing an acrobatic act with eggs that would make a stunt man look like a rookie. He then started making the food with lots of skilled stunts that was quite amazing. He then made an exploding volcano with an onion that made even my youngest niece excited. My youngest niece wanted the chef to do it all over again. I even got a piece of Shrimp thrown at me and it landed into my mouth at the first try.

After our meal the Chinese waitresses and one of the owners of the restaurant came and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I even hit a gong in the restaurant and I for the very first time ate some green tea ice cream which was quite good I must say. My mom was taking pictures and she also made a video of the entire evening. I had quite a wonderful birthday celebration. The restaurant looks like you are actually in China. It felt like my family and I had gone to China and the chef taught me a few words and phrases to say in Chinese which was something. I did learn a little bit of Chinese tonight and it was quite a wonderful trip.

After we ate we walked back out to the front where I picked up a handmade Chinese umbrella and a little souveneir of my night. My dear world it was nice turning 31 tonight.

I hope you and your family had as magical a night as I did. I will talk to you again soon.

Good-night ( Wan An ! ) !!!!!!!!!

Broadway Comes To Georgia

Hello dear world

How are you ? I am doing well. I have to tell you about my night. Yesterday Broadway came to Georgia and it was quite wonderful. At my nieces school Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic School there was a band concert and it was centered around the theme of the great broadway hits of Walt Disney.

First there was a young man named Andrew Nemchik who played the trumpet to the song "Part Of Your World" from Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid. Then later on some young ladies did a ballet performance to the song "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins. Let me tell you the young ladies did a spectacular job and they looked beautiful in their costumes.

Later on a young lady named Kathryn Lee played the flute to the song "Under The Sea" from Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid. She played the flute with such intensity that it was wonderful. She did one amazing job.

Later in the evening some ladies did a dance performance to the song "Chim Chim-A-Nee" from the famous Walt Disney production of Mary Poppins. I can tell you that the young ladies did a great job doing their dance performance. The music was by Richard and Robert Sherman.

Then after the young ladies performed a lady who looked like Cruella De Vil from Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians came out while some different young ladies were performing a dance routine to the song of the 101 Dalmatians which was a stunning performance by all of the young ladies.

Later on some other young ladies performed to the highly famous song "We're All In This Together" from the great Walt Disney's "High School Musical". The young ladies looked just like real Broadway dancers and they did an awesome job.

It all ended with my oldest niece Jeanette who performed with her Baritone with her school band which did a stunning program of songs called: Flutes with a Flare, Talons of Fire and Be Our Guest from Walt Disney's Beauty And The Beast. Let me tell you my niece and her other band members did a marvelous Broadway show which would have made New York's real Broadway proud.

All in all it was a magical exciting night. How was your evening dear world. I hope that yours was just as wonderful as mine. I had a great time and I felt like I was in New York last night at the band concert it was that good. I just wanted to share my night with you dear world.

I forgot to tell you tomorrow is my birthday. My family and I will be going out to dinner tonight to celebrate. We are going to a nice restaurant to eat. You can all feel free to send me tons of presents by the truck full ha,ha,ha,ha, just kidding.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !!!!!!!! I will be the big 3-1

That's all for now. Do take care my dear friends. Ta ta for now.

Notes For Thursday

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? Today the weather in my neck of the woods was pretty nice it was rather warm and the breeze was cool. It felt like the breeze was blowing in from off the ocean and it was nice.

Lately I have been reading a book called "Hot Stuff" written by Janet Evanovich and another writer named Leanne Banks. I have to tell you my dear world the book is really quite good and its quite funny as well. As you might know Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite writers so its nice to be reading another one of her books. Here is her link if you would like to check her out : http://www.evanovich.com/ .

Anywho....today was another day at work for me but today wasn't too bad. I do have one interesting note of the day to share with you. Today a new guy that works up at the head office where I was hired had to come up to my work because someone had called him and told him that something in one of the offices was backed up. He was told from one of the head bosses in the office that no one had called and there didn't seem to be anything to fix in the office. I'm telling you this my dear world because the guy was quite nice looking and he was tall and he had a really nice smile. I wanted to tell him that he could spend the day with me and my coworkers but I didn't. I also wanted to ask him if he would like to go out to dinner with me and my family for my birthday but I didn't. I didn't know if he was going to think that I was silly or something. While he was checking to see if there was anything else he needed to check I played around with him and he laughed at what I said. One of my coworkers asked me if I liked him but I didn't really say. I thought it would have been embarrassing to say that I liked him so I just laughed off her asking me if I liked him. I just had to share that with you.

All in all it was a pretty nice day. How was your day dear world ? How are things in your neck of the woods ? I hope that you were able to enjoy your day. I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well. I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I'm still chugging along and doing well.

That's about it for now. Take care everyone. I'll talk to you again later.

Good-night !!!!!!

Feeling Better

Hello dear world

How are you ? I am happy to report that I am feeling much better today. My spirits were lifted but I have not forgotten those at Virginia Tech University.

Anywho...today the weather in my neck of the woods was nice. Today I am quite excited to report that my favorite show "Bones" with David Boreanaz is back on and I can't wait to see it. I haven't been watching much of American Idol though. I recently picked up the movie "A Good Year" with Russell Crowe and I have to tell you that its not all that good. I thought that I was going to like it but I just can't get into it. I will try to watch it again after Bones. I also picked up a CD by the singer AKON I will let you know how the CD is after I listen to it.

Of course today was another day at work for my coworkers and I. I have to say that the people are giving us complaints about things at our work. My coworkers and I are doing the best we can so I just don't know what more we can do. Hopefully things turn around my dear world....I hope.

I do have some exciting news Sunday April 22 is my birthday "YEAH !!!". My family and I will be going out for dinner on Saturday to celebrate. We are going to a restaurant in Atlanta which I'm sure will be fun.

I hope that your spirits were lifted and I hope that things are well in your neck of the woods. Do take care my dear world. I'll talk to you again soon. A Little Reflection

Hello dear world

Good evening. At the moment I am in between grief and numbness. I am saddened over the recent shootings at the Virginia Tech campus. I am filled with hurt after having heard the news. I keep thinking back to the Columbine High School shootings and the Amish Schoolhouse shootings and reflecting on this recent incident.

I feel sorrow for the families who have lost loved ones and to the students who knew them. I think that all of this is quite a horrible tragedy. Everyone in the world seems sad at the moment. This shooting was talked about at my work and a lot of people were shook up about this quite a bit. I don't know if anyone will be able to understand why this happened and what led the gunman to do what he did.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families and with the students at Virginia Tech. My heart goes out to them all.

If you would like more information here is a link and a journal you might want to check out -----> http://collegemedia.com/ and http://journals.aol.co.uk/pharmolo/NorthernTrip . At the Northern Trip journal you will be able to find a link in one of the entries in which you can sign a guestbook if you like to offer prayers, poems or condolences of your own.

Anywho dear world thanks for listening. Take care.

Good-night

SOME THOUGHTS

Hello dear world

How are you ? I have to say that the wind in my neck of the woods is kicking up quite a tantrum. Maybe the wind is acting all big and brutish because of the recent Don Imus incident. I agree that he was wrong for what he said but now it seems like censorship might come into play.

Pretty soon it might happen that no one will be able to listen to singers like Eminem, 50 Cent, Pink, Snoop Doggy Dog and many others. We might not even be able to read any books or turn on the television for fear that it might offend someone.

I'M ANGRY !!!!!!!

I think we are not far from entering a world like that of Fahrenheit 451 and George Orwell's 1984. "BIG BROTHER" is certainly watching. It seems that we are being surrounded by the Thought Police.

We are quicky losing :

1. Freedom of Speech

2. Freedom of the Press

3. Freedom of Assembly

4. Freedom of Thought.

Pretty soon I might be arrested for ThoughtCrime. Soon we might all be thrown behind bars for what we think, say, listen to, read, wear on a t-shirt or watch on television. I'm afraid that I will be next for what I write in my J-Land Diary and for what I write in my handwritten diary I keep you never know. Perhaps Big Brother will come after me.

My dear world - BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING !!!!!

I just thought I would share that with you.

Take care everyone.

SHARING MY DAY WITH MY J-LAND FRIENDS

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? I had to come by and say hello and tell you a few things.

First off you will be happy to know that I went out today and did some shopping. First my folks and I went out to Home Depot which was fun for me for the very 1st time. Today my mom and I went to the garden part of Home Depot and I picked up some really nice orange flowers, some yellow flowers, some white flowers and I for the first time ever bought some Lavender which I can tell you smells wonderful. Hopefully the Lavender will make it because I have to confess that I am something of a black thumb when it comes to flowers. At Home Depot they also had some Roman mosaic tile there which I have to say was really nice. You might want to check out this site -----> http://www.mosaica.com.tn/ . You will get to see how beautiful the mosaics are as me and my mom saw it. Go over and check them out.

Anywho....after Home Depot my folks and I went over to Kroger to do some more shopping. My mom and I let me tell you had a blast there. We went down each and every single aisle at the grocery store. I have to warn you that you should never go the grocery store hungry. I picked up quite a few things including : some Mayfield Coffe House Fudge ice cream as well as some Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream. For the first time I also picked up some Italian Biscotti chocolate decadence cookies, some Irish Cream coffee and some Prego Italian Sausage & Garlic spaghetti sauce. My dear world you have to try all different kinds of spaghetti sauce its a must new adventure. I also picked up some Asian Garlic Chicken pasta for the first time. You might want to know that I also picked up some Asian Spring Rolls and let me tell you they were good. They had some sauce packets in the box with the spring rolls and yes the sauce was quite good.

Here is the best ice cream link in the world for you to check out -----> http://www.benjerry.com/ . This ice cream is my very favorite to eat.

On a different note earlier this evening I watched the movie "Speed" with Keanu Reeves which is another one of my favorite movies of his. He is wonderful in the movie. I think that Keanu should make another great action movie something similar perhaps to Speed.

Today I can report that the weather was really nice for my folks and I being out shopping. Once we got home is when it started raining. The pollen is still hanging around though but I am pretty stocked up from my trip to Kroger with Claratin and nose spray thank goodness.

Diane...my dear friend you still there ???

So my dear world how was your day ? Did you go out today and do any shopping ? I hope you had as nice a day as I did. I guess that's about it for now. I will talk to you again later my dear world.

Good night my dear world !!!!!!!

My Vacation is Officially Over.

Hello dear world

Good evening how are you ? Let me start by saying that my vacation is officially over and today I was back at work today and I walked my legs practically off today doing work and more work and then quite a bit more work and then more work after that. I am happy to report that we had some nice warm weather in my neck of the woods...Atlanta Georgia to those who are new to visiting my journal.

I am also happy to report that my favorite movie "The Lake House" with Keanu Reeves came on HBO last night which was nice. I had rented it and I fell in love with it. I think Keanu was great in "The Lake House". I also like the movie very much. Here is a link for those of you who haven't seen it yet ----> http://thelakehousemovie.warnerbros.com/ . A Song To Help Start Your Day

Hello dear world

Good morning. Its a beautiful day in Georgia. I have a song that will help start your day. Its a song by Michael Buble. Enjoy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_1SY39Yz4o

For a little while I was watching Samantha Brown's "Passport To Europe" on the Travel Channel which is pretty good. Its interesting to see all of the places that she visits in the world. Seeing her visit places all over the world makes you want to jump on a plane and go zipping all over the world especially to places like Berlin, Italy, Naples, Switzerland and many many others. I love seeing her show its fascinating to see places that I have never been to. I just thought that I would share that with you.

You might want to know my dear world that I am about to share some good news with you. I am happy to report that my mom went to visit my uncle today and she informed me that my uncle is looking much better today. He is eating more and I don't know but perhaps he is getting better I sure hope so.

Have a great day !!!!!!!!

Ciao.

Some Personal News

Good evening dear world

How are you ? As you might notice I deleted my previous entry on purpose. I would like to share some personal news with you. I might not have told you this but I have an uncle named Tony. At the moment I am sad to report that my uncle is in the hospital. My mom and dad went to visit him today and I found out from my mom that his doctors think that they saw something in one of his lungs. They want to see what this something is with a procedure. He has been really sick lately. I am hoping that whatever it is isn't really serious. I hope that he is able to recover from his illness so he can get better and go home. His wife who is my aunt has been at his side throughout this whole thing. I am hoping that he is able to pull out of this soon. I hope that the doctors and the medicine that he is taking is able to get him better.

As you might also know that our dear friend Jeannette of Jeannette's Jottings has also been sick and so has Helen's husband who has also been sick himself. I hope that my uncle, Jeannette and Helen's husband all get better soon. I sure hope that the rest of you my dear friends are all doing well.

I just wanted to come by and share some news with you from my neck of the woods. I will certainly talk to you all again soon and hopefully I will have some better news of my uncle. Do take care my dear friends.

Good-night.

I'm Home !!!!!!!

Hello dear world

I'm back !!!!! I have so much to tell you. Let me begin by saying that my trip to Florida was totally fun. Our first day at Panama City was filled with great weather.

The first night in Panama City Beach, Florida was wonderful. My family and I checked in at St. Andrews State Park, we set up and then we went for dinner. We took a drive over to our favorite restaurant known as "Pier 77". One of the women who has been working there for quite a while knows us from our many visits. She was quite happy to see us. Me and my mom were sitting outside and she came out and gave us both a huge which was nice. Its always nice to see her she is like a permanent fixture in Florida.

The next day we did quite a bit of shopping in the area. We went down to K-mart and I found myself a new purse. After K-mart we then went to a store next door where we did some more shopping. After shopping we arrived back to our campsite and got ready for the beach. We took a ride over to the beach and it was quite cool at the beach but we made a day of it. I have to tell you that there were quite a few jellyfish seen in the water which was new for us. While we were there my dad and I flew a kite which was a dragon and it flew quite well at the beach. After a few minutes my oldest niece and I walked over the dunes to the otherside of the beach where the waves were crashing. The crystal white sand and the waves crashing made me wish that I had brought a camera with me. There was a guy there taking pictures with professional equipment. I'm sure that he was a professional photographer. Anywho...after the beach we got back to camp and got ready to go out to dinner.

For dinner I treated my family to a restaurant called "Captain Anderson's" and let me tell you the place was beautiful. It was Prom Night at the restaurant. There were lots of young women dressed in gowns covered with jewels and diamonds. One of the women actually looked like Marilyn Monroe hairstyle, gown and all. The young men were also dressed in rather elegantly in finely tailored suits and tuxedo's.

Our dinner wasn't half bad either. I had (2) rather large sauteed soft shelled crabs which were delicious. At the restaurant my dad  had ordered a huge steak and Lobster and my youngest niece had a hamburger and my oldest niece had shrimp. I shared my crabs with my mom and oldest niece which they enjoyed. For dessert I had a really good chocolate cream pie which was really rich in chocolate. All in all our dinner was pretty good and the view of the boats on the water made the night spectacular.

After dinner we then went to a huge store called Alvin's Island which is fun to shop in. At Alvin's Island I bought some stuff for my coworkers including souvenirs. After all of that we arrived safely back to camp and got ready for bed. For the first time in our trip my youngest niece slept with me and I can tell you that she sleeps wild.

The very next day was Easter so we went to a church in Florida called St. Bernadette Catholic Church for Easter mass. The church was packed with people. The priest sounded like he was from Transylvania or Romania. After church we then went to a store where you enter into the mouth of a shark. They sell shirts, necklaces, surf boards, flip flops and other things there. They also have an aquarium inside of the store with a live shark living inside of the tank.

After the store we then went to a place called "Shell Port". Shell Pork carries all kinds of shells from clams to cowrie's. I bought a couple of nice shells there. After Shell Port we drove back to St. Andrews State Park where my family and I saw (4) deers feeding on grass and plants in a little part of the park. Then we drove to another place in the park called "Gator Lake". At the Lake my dad, my nieces and I saw a real Gator resting on a bank. After resting for a little while on the back the Gator slipped back into the water. After Gator Lake where we got to see a real Gator we drove back to our campsite for a little rest.

Then later on in the evening we took a ride to a restaurant called "Capt. Jack's Buffet". I can tell you that the food wasn't good. They had a seafood alfredo which wasn't good and they had some macaroni-n-cheese which had so much cheese that all you could taste was cheese which I didn't like. They also had some fried fish which was overcooked. They didn't have any good desserts like at Captain Anderson's did. After dinner we then went back to camp and went to take our showers. I was happy to find that the water at the shower was hot because the other night we took a shower the water was cold.

I hate to say it but the weather in Florida wasn't all that good. It was cool there while we were there. We saw the weather reports which talked of rain so we decided to pack up yesterday and head home. We spent yesterday packing up the camper and the truck and we headed for home. We did have to stop at a couple of the rest area's to rest for a while before we got back on the road.

I can tell you my dear world that we liked our trip although we wished that the weather could have been better. We are planning to go camping again soon somewhere new. My nieces and I enjoyed the trip and we can't wait until the next time. I have to say my dear world that the one thing I must tell you is that if you ever go camping remember to carry a shower cap with you on your trip. I learned this lesson the hard way.

Anywho.....I am back home and I did miss you all. I thought of all of you while I was gone. I only wish that we could have come home to Georgia without returning to the pollen which is still everywhere but everything is in bloom here as well as my mom's flowers on our deck. Earlier this evening I got to see "84 Charing Cross Road" with my favorite actor Anthony Hopkins which was on television. I haven't seen it in quite a while. I always love watching it.

So my dear world how are you doing ? Did you miss me ? Are you still chugging along ? Jeannette if your reading this I hope you are feeling better you were in my thoughts during my trip. I also hope Helen's husband is feeling better. I hope you are all doing well. Anywho...I am home and I will have to catch up on my journal reading and let you all know that I'm home and can't wait to hear from all of you.

Do take care my dear friends.

Good night !!!!!!!

Some News

Hello my dear world

How are you ? This is my last entry.....just kidding April Fools this is NOT my last entry I promise.

Right now I am quite happy to report that there is finally a little bit of relief in my neck of the woods...it rained today. Some of the yucky icky pollen was washed out of the air and out of the trees thank goodness.

In other news early this morning I went to church for Palm Sunday. Did you know its nearly Easter already ? Anywho...after church my family and I went over to Denny's for breakfast. I had what was called "the mega french toast slam". I also had a drink called a banana dream which was a drink consisting of a banana soda, orange juice and with a hint of lime squeezed in. The drink was pretty good. The scrambled eggs that came with my meal was also pretty good. The best partof my breakfast was the French Toast which were coated heavily with powdered sugar and perfectly made. I could have eaten (5) refills of the french toast they were that good.

At this time you might say that I am bit nutty but I have been watching "the Holiday" with Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black and Kate Winslet repeatedly. Tonight you could say that I have watched it for perhaps the thousandth time. I am definitely falling in love with Jude Law a little bit more. I think that he is definitely a talented actor.

I do have a confession to share my dear world. I have to tell you that I am a huge huge huge huge huge huge huge huge huge fan of Jeff Gordon the race car driver. I watch NASCAR just to see him race. I happen to have a Jeff Gordon teddy bear, a Jeff Gordon Christmas ornament, a Jeff Gordon collectible car, a Jeff Gordon bobblehead doll, a Jeff Gordon throw, some Jeff Gordon NASCAR stickers and a Jeff Gordon racing hat with his number and his colors as well on it. I am quite happy to report that Jeff won 2nd place in tonight's NASCAR race. I am so proud of Jeff he did well tonight. I can't wait to see him race again soon. He is a very great race car driver I must say and he's quite a nice looking guy. Yes my dear world I am a Jeff Gordon fan definitely.

So my dear world how are you doing ? I hope you are doing well and that you enjoyed your weekend. On Friday I will be on my way to Florida for a camping trip with my family. I will be talking to you when I return. Will you miss me my dear world ??? I will definitely miss you all.
